Bio: -Young Childhood-
Maikash was born on Coruscant in Galactic City to insignificant parents that were unemployed and scratched a living off gambling in clubs and bars. They had a small two-room apartment in one of the mid-level buildings where Maikash stayed all day to daydream of a better life. Her only joy in life was when she would sneak out at nights and take a turbo lift to the top of a building and sit staring at the Jedi Temple, dreaming of being discovered, although she had no idea if she could be a Jedi. Her parents, being not very honest or good people, taught Maikash how to hack into or disable simple computer security devices, a skill that was useful, but not used often in her life. Along with this, they taught her hand-to-hand combat, which she practiced even after becoming a Jedi out of habit. One day when Maikash had snuck out she wandered aimlessly about the streets instead of her usual mandate, and came upon an encounter with a Twi'lek Jedi Knight named Aza'ashk Freanirae. She was running at top speed, well, as fast as a 5-year-old could run. She dodged people and objects fairly well, and narrowly missed running smack into a large Besalisk. Aza'ashk was watching with interest, and decided to test her. He stepped directly in front of her and the last possible moment, and she quickly skidded to a stop before she ran into him. Aza'ashk was impressed by how strong the Force was in Maikash, and he asked if she had ever heard of the Jedi Temple and their way of life. She nodded, explaining that she had only just that: Heard of them. She knew nothing about who they were, or what they did, or how they even became Jedi in the first place. He had her take him to her parents, and he introduced himself and explained Maikash's need to be in the Temple. Her parents shrugged, not really caring about her fate so long as they profitted somehow. Aza'ashk pressed an answer out of them, and they finally agreed to let Maikash become a Jedi.
-Youngling-
Maikash developed more of a sensitivity to the Force during her years as a Youngling, and she was taught and trained on how to strengthen her ability to levitate objects. She quickly became skilled in that area, because she was very sensitive to the Force between different objects, and eventually discovered she could manipulate the Force between her and the ground. The instructors didn't teach her much on this skill, and it never fully developed in her Youngling years. She was a fairly obedient student, although she caused slight mayhem sometimes, one example being when she raced through the hallways chasing after a mouse she discovered in the Temple and attempted to keep as some sort of pet. One day when she was seven, her and her Togruta friend Fisal were rummaging through the archives, Maikash decided to see if she could sneak into the area where the Sith holocron was kept and access it. She was quickly talked out of that one by Fisal, who was normally responsible enough to make up for Maikash's occasional recklessness. The two were almost inseperable, which worried some of the instructors, but they relaxed when they saw that is was good for Fisal to be around Maikash. They often grew tired of chasing Maikash away from somewhere she wasn't supposed to be, or talking her out of her Sith-like ideas that she often vocalized, so they thought, 'Sure! Let this Youngling take care of her disregard for the rules.' They were right, of course. Fisal kept Maikash out of trouble, and Maikash began to realize that she wasn't raising her chances at being a Padawan. She tried to be the best student she could, but occasionally her other side would show in a bout of things, such as wondering: If I jump off of a very high object, will the Force save me? She readied herself for her expirament; she was going to get in a turbo-lift within the Temple, and stop it at the top floor. Then she could race to the floor below, open up the shaft, and jump down. She had opened the shaft when Fisal found her, and, once again, one of her reckless plans was stopped before she hurt herself.
-Padawan-
At age 13 Maikash was chosen by Aza'ashk to be his apprentice. He admired her courage to stand up for herself, and noticed her tendency for disregard for the rules. He thought that being given some responsibility as a Padawan might squash that out of her. Aza'ashk and Maikash were given the assignment of settling a dispute between two mining companies on Dorvalla. On the way, Aza'ashk and Maikash got into and argument. Maikash believed that useage of anger and hatred should be used for offensive manuvers, while Aza'ashk tried to remind her that it was not the Jedi way. Aza'ashk had heard about her occasional vocalization of ideas like these, but hadn't expected her to still be vocal about them. He didn't have any expirience in dealing with her ideas, so he simply and kindly reminded her that she was a Jedi, not a Sith. After their mission, Aza'ashk sent her to Dantooine in hopes that she would come to her senses in the lightsaber crystal caves. Maikash was still angry with Aza'ashk, and began to feel a disturbance within her. She wanted to shame him, so in the caves she constructed a double-sided lightsaber. Feeling that she wanted to use a blade color differing from the traditional Jedi colors, she used red crystals for her blades. She emerged from the caves a few days later, and Aza'ashk met her, hoping she had realized that her ideas were bringing her to the Dark Side, but also fearing that she had been engulfed in it. When she ignited her Sith-styled lightsaber, Aza'ashk's fears had come true. He calmly asked her to hand him her saber, and she grudgingly de-activated it and handed it over. He inspected the hilt, then asked her why she had created a double-ended lightsaber. Maikash was overcome with guilt, and admitted that she constructed it because she was angry with her friend and mentor. He nodded in understandment, and on their way back to Coruscant he gave Maikash a lecture on controlling her anger. She seemed to get those a lot. This time Maikash understood, and accepted that she was not setting a good impression of her abilities to be a great Jedi.
One day whe they were walking through the Temple together, he asked her to tell him about her time as a Youngling. He smiled when she told him about the mouse incident, and suddenly grew interested when she told him about how she discovered she could levitate herself. He started questioning her anxiously about how long she could remain in the air, how far up she could go, and stuff like that. She stopped him to explain that she only did it once, and that she was about 2 inches up for about 5 seconds. He took immediate interest in her ability, and began instructing her in this feild. She eventually could suspend herself in the air about 5 feet for about 15 seconds, but never really excercised this skill often. She knew she had the ability to do better, but decided that she would never really need to use that skill. She was right, she only needed to use it once or twice, but she always remembered in case the day should come when she will need that skill.
On her last mission with Aza'ashkwhen Maikash was 17, they were with Aelian, a Rodian Jedi, with his apprentice, Maikash's friend Fisal. They were sent to Khar Delba, where there were rumors of a few Massassi warriors sent there again. Just for caution measures, the Jedi Council sent them to investigate. After landing on the planet's surface, Aza'ashk and Aelian told the two Padawan's to remain on the ship whilst they explored the planet. They obeyed, and made themselves useful by being extremely bored. (NOTE: That was sarcasm.) After their master's hadn't returned for a long time, Maikash began to sense that something was wrong. Something had happened to their masters. They disobeyed orders to go looking for them. They searched for a full day, and found nothing. Defeated, they found their way back to the ship.
After three more days, and no masters, Maikash sensed someone's presense outside the ship. She rushed to the entry hatch, hoping for her master. After it was opened, she shouted in surprise as five people pushed their way inside. Fisal, who was drawn to the scene my Maikash's voice, immediately activated his emerald lightsaber blade. The five drew theirs, all of them red. Maikash hesitated to ignite hers, but figured it was the best thing to do. The five poeple were startled to see her red sabers. She inquired as to if they knew anything about their masters. Their distiguished leader stepped forward and just laughed at her, then told her and Fisal that they had encountered them. Maikash and Fisal were stricken by greif for a few moments, then Fisal made a stupid move and engaged one of them in battle. Maikash immediately followed suit, although she knew neither of them had a chance. Maikash managed to kill one, but only thanks to the color of her blade being overlooked as the five attacked. The remaining four Sith stopped fighting. Maikash looked for Fisal, and found him being held by one of them, with their lightsaber against his neck, Fisal's lightsaber laying across the room. They threatened to kill him unless she came with them to Korriban. She agreed, and the Sith killed Fisal anyways. Enraged, Maikash attacked them, this time using her anger to fight them. She cut off another's arm, but they overpowered her. They wanted Maikash to come to Korriban with them because they were ordered to recruit people, under any circumstances. They were literally told to kidnap any Jedi if need be. She was taken to Korriban with them.
She tried to leave Korriban a few times, but after being caught and severly punished, she finally accepted it as her fate and remained there.

"Okay! Race you there!" Maikash said as she started running.
"No fair! We both know you're faster than me!"
When they reached the archives, they slipped inside quietly, trying not to disturb the other Padawans and Younglings. On their way to the Planetary HoloBooks, they passed the restricted room holding the Sith Holocrons. Fisal kept walking, but Maikash stopped at stared at the doors, wondering what it would be like to acsess the Holocron. She felt a presence in the Force, and turned around to find Aza'ashk staring at her from across the room. Maikash lowered her eyes and hurried after Fisal, still ponderous about the secret ways of the Dark Side.
