1 to unsettle a wookiee rebellion.

plus each DJ will likely command a small force of Zabrack soldiers, to keep things interesting.

Current Plot b/w Sith/Jedi Status

Subterrel
1) Sith or Sith operatives are obviously on the planet. The Council was informed by eye-witness Jedi that Sith Hounds infiltrated the Jedi Sanctuary there and killed a Jedi Master and his Padawan. As an immediate result, Ashla Aneem assembled a taskforce of 4 Jedi to go to Subterrel to investigate the Hound issue. The taskforce includes herself, Myn (I believe he's banned? So I guess we'll just continue without him.), Aaron An'mar, and two other npc Jedi masters.

2) They crew has just landed on the planet. Cyberguy has posted saying that the Hounds are beginning to circle the group. Soon they will engage them. I am planning on loosing at least one in the group, probably one of the NPC's unless Aaron gives up his character or Myn returns to do the same. Ashla and Everos will eventually come into contact...


Kashyyyk
1) Kashyyyk is once again the center of a civil rights issue. As it appears, a small Zabrak sect seemingly in cahoots with the Sith Empire has invaded Kashyyyk. The sect has begun to enslave local tribes by any brutal means necessary and ship them to eager Sith operatives Galaxy-wide. Enraged, the Wookies have petitioned the Senate to act. But corruption and filibusters in the Senate have slowed all progress on the issue. Wookie representatives are on iced terms with the Iridonia Senators, who in reality have no participation in the issue, and are powerless to stop it.

2) As a result, the Jedi Council has chosen to act. Soon enough, the Council will dispatch Jedi Council Member Vreem Took as head of the Kashyyyk Diplomacy Commission. The K.D.C was created with no forceful intentions. As Jedi, they are on Kashyyyk to help the Wookies using only peace as a weapon. They have been instructed strictly not to use any means of force to end the Zabrak rebel incursion unless it is to save a life.

3) There will be other participants to the K.D.C, who will be under the command of Vreem. Reasonably, I think three (not including padawans) is a fair number of other Jedi sent with Master Took as only five were sent to Subterrel to deal with a much more higher class mission, security-wise. Took may choose to handpick his team or go on a first-come, first-serve basis. Also please keep in mind that if your character is far away from Kashyyyk currently, he/she may not be able to logically get to Kashyyyk to play a part in it's events, be it a Dark Jedi, Jedi, whathaveyou. For a Jedi, note: if you choose to go to Kashyyyk unauthorized, you will be subjected to persecution and sentencing by the Jedi Council immediately. Depending on the violation, you may could be expelled from the Jedi Order.

4) NOTE: This mission has a tendency to get veryyyy NPCish, so keep this in mind: The group of Zabraks that play a part in the Sith Empire/Wookie issue are not supported by the Iridonian government. And since the Sith Empire is not that strong, they would have basically junk/miscellaneous weaponry. Furthermore, their numbers are relatively small. Perhaps only a few hundred at the most involved. Their ships would be very small and built for stealth and speed. Also, for all you Dark Jedi/Sith rebelz keep in mind that there would also be a small limit to the number of Sith/Dark Jedi on the planet. I would recommend about 3ish, but that's up to you. The Jedi will have other missions in need of Dark Jedi, so there will be more than enough call for you guys very, very soon!

Keep in mind that this is just a small operation by the Sith at the moment. It isn't very large at all in any aspect.

Hmm, I believe that if you were looking at a bunch of 100 Zabraks on Kashyyyk capturing the wookiees, they would have acted by now. I think it would probably be at least 300 - 400. And ya, JK's looking for two more Dark Jedi (already got two).

hmm, but if you look at the time frame, true there are not a lot of Dark Jedi, but there really aren't a large number of Jedi either. And with the Sith starting to make their move, they are only making very few actions at the moment, so those actions will most likely involve a lot of focus.

Just keep in mind that once you land, there won't be an army of these Zabrak Rebels ready to fight They have forces spread thin across Kashyyyk, with only a few main facilities/holding camps which are primarily in one region. So, not all of them would be concentrated in one area, and many would be off of the planet anyway. (On Iridonia, or dealing with other matters).

And yes, Leo, I agreed with him. There will only be 2-3 Sith and about 3 Jedi along with Vreem. Anything more would be too excessive and unrealistic. Simply no need.

In reality, I don't have any control over this, this is JK's idea. So I'm just going to be going along with him.

But yea, it's not going to be '*land*, haxzorz army to shr34dz, *leave*'. Read what JK posted before about hos he's planned things to go. I believe CG thought it was good seeing as he's rping the Zabraks.

Vreem was going to be gathering people when he hears the plan from Jahn (that's got a kind a poetry to it), so he'll go along with them and when he reports to the council, he'll be shifting all of the credit onto Jahn, who at that point shall forever be known as Jahn the man.

As long as a Council member is one of the leading members of the taskforce though. Just because if a Council member was to go, naturally he would be one of the leaders. Ya know?

And as long as Vreem reprimands and scolds Jahn for practically assembling a strike-team to to go Kashyyyk without the Council's permission. You guys should probably post in the Council thread too, to pitch your idea.

well, this is going on at the same time as the subterrel mission so other than NPCs, that gives us... oh, no one else to rp with on the council <<.

Anyways, that would just extend the amount of time this mission will take, and I'm already guessing it's going to be long enough. And don't worry, I'm pretty sure to become a Jedi Master you have to be well trained in the arts of scolding.

Right on, we have a couple more Jedi than three but I feel they will all be needed. Everyone has their own part and the more Jedi on planet, the better we will be able to take control of the situation should control be contested. Well, off to RP this out. heh

Actually, kubb came up with a good idea that he PM'd me, regarding my plans for a side-plot. Here's the message:

What about humanitarian crisis on one of the planets. I know of the surface it seems like a one dimensional idea, the good jedi coming to save the people from a plague. However if you look into it, it could be really interesting. A limited amount of aid from the republic, different ethnic groups on the planet all needing support. Who gets what and how much. Accusations of favouritism and ethnic confrontation, finding the dark source of the plague and trying not to catch it ourselves could raises lots of moral questions that your Jedi would have to pass. I think it could be a really good rp with further planning ... but yeah its just an idea running through my head. It’s ok if you don't like it or have your won idea just thought I’d throw it out there.

Neology was on deck as the Sith foil against my Jedi, so here's hoping she's still up for it and is intrigued by this idea.

The way I see it, kubb is right and this could be really interesting. Strange disease or other malady begins to affect a population. Aid is sent in but is unable to contain and control it, even with Jedi MedCorps assistance.

I'm thinking that the disappearance of the MedCorps overseers would provide the stimuli for an investigation. Theron and one or two others (more if some who go have padawans) are sent to locate them.

This has the potential to get very involved with members of the different factions, especially our dear Senators once inter-species conflict arise through perceived favoritism. There are also, of course, the need of military if they decided to quarantine the place and this leads to Fringers trying to make easy money over the situation (smuggling people off planet through the blockades, moving in-demand medication, etc).

The Sith could be involved, part of the clandestine group producing the virus and using the population as a "field test" for its effective use against the Republic. The Dark Jedi could be the field commanders, the one's pulling the puppet strings. They would be the ones who take the MedCorps Jedi and convert or kill them.

Now, this wouldn't be a major military act, quite the opposite. I'm thinking it would be mostly intrigue as the slowly learn that the outbreak isn't natural and begin trying to trace the steps through the small cells causing it, running into the Dark Jedi, etc.

kubb's got a good idea, I think. I'm trying to expand on it, but I could definitely use input.

Edit: Okay, so now I see the thread for the Council of Reconciliation. Perhaps this could be considered for an addition to the missions already there?

Theron I think that idea with Kubb sounds great, if it takes off i'd like to be apart of it. In the thread we are in now in the courtyard, perhaps it can be mentioned there? I've been trying to think of a mission for Malace and I to go on, and I think this would be great for it. Let me know, and i'll pm Malace about the idea and maybe i can work it into my next post.
