Star Wars Games

I've gotta say PC....I miss my Star Wars: X-Wing and Star Wars: TIE Fighter. Yeah, PC has more configurations, but I prefer to streamline the controls to the way I like and you've got more precise targeting with the mouse than with control sticks. Plus, I don't have to shell out $500 to $1000 dollars (Trust me, the next next gen will be that much...look at how much the PS3 is!) just to get a game I like. If I want to upgrade, I spend that on new vid card, memory, and still have money over to get other little tweaks.

Then, even if I don't like said spiffy new game...ALL my other, beloved games look and play even better.

So, yeah, PC for me.

ANd I'm all too aware that there has been no posting here for...months. I'm bored, aight?

Heh...thats kinda hard. I do like the KOTOR series, but I spend like every minute of my spare time on SWG....Ill have to go with PC. Being a kid and all, I'm really not into really adult-oriented and strategic SW games- I mean lol SW is like my calling. An adult-oriented SW game and a kid addicted to SW do not go together

Well... KOTOR is out for PC you know. Has been for awhile now.

I've only beaten it....40 times.

And EVERY time I go through it, I seem to find a quest I missed. But I can say that I've probably gone it every single different way [including killing vistas or whatever the anti handmaiden girl's name is].

Yay for sepekku.

I'm gonna say PC. Because PC owns all.

Consoles are meh. They're okay for parties, but if everyone owns a computer...such a better option.

Its all dependent on the way Lucas Arts is leaning. There were alot of cool games made for both. I have to say that its a matter of preference. Some of the best Star Wars games have been made for console. Including the 2008 release of "The Force Unleashed" for consoles *drools* Cannot wait.

I voted for PC, only because I found it easier to play, and allows more room for manipulation , KOTOR on PC over Xbox. Even though Force Unleashed was awesome for console.

Hmmmm, this is a tough one.

Good things about the PC
-KOTOR definitely had better controls on the PC than on the Xbox
-Star Wars Galaxies was a great game

Bad things about the PC
-KOTOR crashed my computer and wiped out my hardrive
-Star Wars Galaxies was too addictive

Good things about Consoles
-Battlefront 1 and 2 were great on the PS2
-KOTOR II on the Xbox didn't CRASH ANYTHING!!!!!

Bad things about Consoles
-Uh...............hard to play online on the PS2


Ok, maybe the choice wasn't so tough. Then again my computer has a graphics card which can't handle video games, and I don't want to spend money on getting a better one, since consoles seem to have a larger selection of games (not Star Wars games, but games in general), and I'd rather save up money for one of them or a couple brand new games, rather than buy a new graphics card.

I voted for pc. Have you ever played the very old pc games like X-Wing or Tie Fighter? Those were amazing for the time they came out. If I still had them I would be playing them right now.

What happened to the space-flight-fighting-simulation-awesome genre? LucasArts needs to put like, loads of cash behind a new spacefighter game, new engine, some sort of epic story. OOO make it PhysX supported for all of us with shiny new Nvidia cards...it'd be epic.

Honestly, all I want is an excuse to fire an ETA-Actis 2's guns in anger at some droid ships, or do the Deathstar run in 1920x1080i with full 3D up the arse...screw the game cube, PC needs a Rogue Squadron Exclusive.

PC's have WAY more horsepower than the consoles now ( don't even start you PS3 people, you don't code and have no idea the sheer stupidity of its design.) and LA should seriously take advantage of this.
