Swoop Bike Circuit.

I am looking for both characters who want to race and people willing to NPC racers in order to create a swoop race circuit. Also looking for people to "sponsor" the race as well as certain racers.
Sponsoring a racer means you take a percentage of the racers winnings.
Bets on races will also be welcome for any other characters who want to try and earn some 'easy' cash.
I am still working out details for this so I welcome any advice or insight as to how I might go about this.

I've not got much in the way of advice, but you might be able to set up a thread on the proper planet, where people can come and go. If you actually want people's charries to bet, you could roll a few die to see who wins ahead of time, then RP it out so the posts match the order. Never tried anything of the sort before. X) roffle.

If I come up with anything, I'll probably pop in and let you know. In any event, I'd love to NPC. If you'll have me, of course. ;D

I'd love to NPC a racer or two, and if/when my Dark Jedi is finished he might sponser a few racers as well.

Perhaps the outcome of the race could be determined the same way as the practice duels? That way it would rely on the skill and ability of the players (and by extension, somewhat, the characters) instead of pure chance.

I haven't actually checked out the duels yet. Will do that.
And I'd love to have you both create some NPC's.

There is also the possibility of having the race decided, illegally, beforehand. As in certain players are paid to either lose or to specifically "take someone out permanently". In order to 'increase' profits. All of that will have to be done by PM between the buyer and the racer.
I'm thinking it could be a bragging rights sort of thing between the sponsors whose racer wins. One of many possibilities.

Also we could do smaller races where anyone who owns a swoop can enter. They can be placed randomly throughout the galaxy, purely for entertainment, judging skill and gambling. Then have the final circuit where only the best of the best can compete.

The race will most likely be on tattoine however I am thinking of maybe switching between planets. As in; the first round is on Telos, the winners of that round then travel to Nar Shadda and the final race is on tattoine.

Do you guys think that switching planets would be too difficult?
I am open, and looking for, ideas so feel free to make suggestions. I believe that Cavalry King also has a dark Jedi that would be willing to sponsor a racer or two. I'll send him a PM to find out.

Also there will be a fee to enter the race which then goes to the winner.

Well, if you'd like a couple NPC's to work with... here's a few... xD

Racer: Mana "Flicky" Neer, Female Twi'lek, Headstrong and arrogant, always seems stuck in third place.

Racer: Seear Nic'to, Male Omwati, extremely talented, overly cautious. Mechanical genius, but paranoid. Held the track record for a week, usually gets first or second best time, but has been known to totally blow a race on occasion.

Racer: Neen "Trickle" Warsh, Male Selkath, always keeps a cool head, very consistent, places from 4-2, steals first when the others have an off day.


Sponsor: Kreegan Calibri, Male Arkanian, Extremely statistical. Bets everything on advanced calculations of probability. Has a knack for predicting the underdogs. Very snooty and condescending, but wealthy.

Sponsor: Treena Naikon, Female Zabrack. Used to race swoops, before she won it big with her singing career. Very wealthy. Loves the game. Has nothing to loose, so often sponsors the underdogs. Generally personable.

Sponsor: Gringot, Hutt. Very young, trying to build a reputation for himself. Will do whatever he can to score a promising sponsorship. Dreams of having a racer on the top. Cocky, but bold.

Well, I hope you can work with the above... xD Don't know if that's quite what you're looking for. They're all NPC's, so someone else can claim them (if they want), or they can be paired with a 'real' character, in which case I'd play 'em. Just PM me if you need/want more details. Hey guys and Darken, just thought I'd let you know that I don't have anything going on with my fringer Rogarr Clawfere, he's an Amaran and I'd love to use him in your race. Changing planets is ok with me too. Oh, before I forget, Rogarr just has a fighter he doesn't have a swoopbike so he'll have to barrow one. Anyway, get back to me when you're beginning to post somewhere and I'll join you guys as a racer. Thanks for the invite Darken, I look forward to RPing with you.
