The Mandalorian spoke some cryptic riddle-speech as the men rose from the table. Asyr looked at him quizzically, snow brow arched. "Er.... right." He nodded, making himself smile a smile that didn't touch his eyes. What a weirdo.
But he was a weirdo the group needed, so Asyr didn't complain. Maybe he just had to know what was going on in the guy's mind to make sense of what was coming out of his mouth.
Related to the mission, maybe? That would make more sense. We'll figure it out later.
Flitch hopped up onto Asyr's broad shoulder, using his repulsors to lift him all the way from the tabletop.
Asyr walked toward the exit, nodding to Ress as he spoke. "Doesn't have to be pretty," he said as he walked, pausing at a bottleneck to let Ress go past some corpulent man who had his chair hanging out in the walkway, "long as she can get the job done. It's what'll be in her belly that's important."
The conversation got them outside. Asyr glanced left, then right, and relaxed, seeing that they were in the clear. But still, just in case...
"Go up, Flitch," he muttered to the droid. "Keep an eye on us. Let me know if you see trouble coming."
Flitch nodded sternly. "I will do as you say, Asyr." Holographic wings spread wide, Flitch took to the air to keep an eye on the conspirators from a place where he couldn't be seen.
"Now that that's done...." Asyr looked around further, searching to see where Zett had run off to. The Mandalorian man was just standing there. Asyr wondered if he was paying attention to the world around him.
"Maybe he went to sleep on his feet..."
The Echani led the group over to Zett and knocked gently on the side of his metal helmet. "Come on. We're going somewhere else."
