Description:
This is an item that is used by the SIS and other various Republic Groups to enter locked doors discreetly and owner must have a Legalized Permit that must be updated on a yearly basses.
It is intended to be able to unlock Doors without being dangerous, but has made it to be unreliable for blast doors or force fields. It uses Directed Sonic Waves to Basically shake locking mechanisms on a Sonic level, and even though most doors are digital they still have a basic bolt lock on the inside of the door.
The WI-FI was added to the device in hopes to increase the Range and help unlock doors, by from a distance being able to tap the computer using the WI-FI and run through 1000 combinations every second. However this turned out to do very little to the device and only increased the range from 10 to 20cm to only 1 meter.
To get around not being able to open blast doors and force fields a added Peace of Tech was designed and given to the device that was similar to that of how Astromechs open doors, the program that was added allows it to go through 1000s of combinations per second, but took it one step up from a astro droid useing the WI-FI to be able to tap a computer from a distance and do the same, however an Astormech still is able to do the same amount of work 3x faster.
The EMP field was Incorporated to allow the device to help the device get past the road block of force fields and blast doors by short circuiting their safeties, but unfortunately this was given a down side that the tool would be rendered useless for up-to 20 minutes at times and for this reason the device has been called back for extreme unreliability.
