Noticing Varulla had dropped her lightsaber Koeing quickly called it to his hand and ignited the Silver blade. Silver he thought as he stared at the blade, she had used the crystal he gave her. A small chill went down his spine, but his hatred had been too great he released Force Drain and started toward the Jedi before him.
Suddenly out of the corner of his eye he noticed Varulla beginning to step toward him, the redeemed girl, or so she seemed to think of herself he knew she would step infront of the blade and thus save the Jedi to cement her redemption. His hate seemed to roll off of his body like an angry storm crashing against a cliff, he would kill this Jedi and deal with Varulla after.
Quickening his pace his arm shot outward just as Varulla had stepped infront of him, he felt her touch on his arm and heard her words then smelled the burn of flesh as he looked down to see the silver blade impaling the woman he had loved.
All emotion had drained from him for several heartbeats as he stared at the wound, deactivating the lightsaber and dropping it to the ground he immediately laid Varulla on the ground and no longer had he been focused on the Jedi, all focus poured toward the beautiful cream Twi'lek he had just stabbed.
No, never this.
His mind raced and his heart sped like a speeder, his had subsided and was replaced with guilt, love and the desire to help Varulla. The taint of the Darkside began to recede from his eyes, returning their crystalline green brilliance, and soon his cheeks became stained with tears.
For the second time in his life since his fall Koeing's skin returned to it's natural golden color, thinking clearly for the first time as if he were a Jedi again all he could remember was his training as a healer.
His skill had became paltry but he had to try, to save the woman he loved so dearly before he lost the last remaining shred of his sanity. He needed her, as the flower needs the sun. Without her he would die and become a man who's sole mission was to kill to end his pain.
Quickly he began to work, going through what he could remember of his training, pouring the force in to the wound hoping to mend and knit her damaged tissue back together. What little reserve of the force he had left he poured in to her to save her life, because if he didn't his life would no longer have purpose.

For a moment there was nothing. Var was staring into Koeing’s eyes, and she felt a sudden sensation that something was wrong, because she suddenly felt a strange tingling of some kind. Her eyes darted down to her body, and she stared dumbly.
Embedded in her stomach was the silver blade of her own lightsaber, extending all the way through her body. Strangely, she could clearly remember the day Koeing had given her the silver crystal, a token of his love. Var had tried to give it back, to have Doneeda give it to her lover so he could think of her. But despite all her efforts, it had come back to her, and she’d poured herself into it, filling it up with her soul.
She’d thought of Koeing as she made her new lightsaber, and every time she’d seen the blade she’d been reminded of her first love. The pale Twi’lek had always felt a strange sense of peace and comfort when she’d looked at it.
Never before had she thought it would be the instrument of her demise.
The strange thing was that there was still no pain yet. Instead there was a look of shock and surprise on Var’s features. Her green eyes were extraordinarily wide, and her mouth was hanging open slightly as if she was about to speak. If she could have, she might have asked why, why this had happened to her.
Then the pain came. Searing, burning pain. Var gasped, and all the air left her lungs. The expression on her face turned to one of pain and fear, the look of a woman who’d just had the worst experience of her life. She couldn’t seem to bring any more in air into her lungs, she felt herself gasping more, unable to breathe. She felt her knees wobble and bend as the saber was withdrawn.
Unable to stand, the Twi’lek woman slowly slumped down, collapsing onto her knees. Her lips trembled and she tried to find words, still staring up at Koeing with fear and doubt. The look in her eyes spoke a simple fact. She didn’t want to go, Var didn’t want to die.
Her slender form lay on the ground, one bare hand reaching out towards Koeing, and she managed to finally whisper out words, barely audible.
“I love you, don’t let it end this way.”
Her last thought wasn’t about death, or about the afterlife, or even about the people she’d met and who had grown to love her. Doneeda, her sister. Blazinda, her friend. Horst, the father she’d lost. Her mother, lost and then found again for such a short time. Her thoughts were all on Koeing, and the fact that even though he’d just struck her down, she loved him still.
I’ll love you until the day I die…
Had she ever spoken those words, or had she just thought them? It was too late for more words now. Nothing was left that she could say, but she could remember what she had said to Koeing the last time she’d seen him.
"Never forget me. I'll never forget you."
She never had.
Var’s eyes closed and blackness took her. Death.
Or so she thought. While her mind and heart had given up, her body hadn't. Not yet.

Cassy wondered for a moment if Dia had gone insane since they'd last seen each other. Sure she wasn't exactly the friendliest camper; but this man had just threatened to annihilate her existence, yet she seriously seemed to ignore it. Upon closer examination, Cassy focused on her facial expression, concentrating over the distinct hum of three lightsabers, one sky blue, one silver, and one deep forest green.
She could tell by the look on her face that this Sith meant something too her. 'Varulla?' after a moment perplexed, Cassy made "-____-" this face at "Dia" of course, she'd never even known her real name. Clever. Still, they had become somewhat acquainted and the last memory of 'Varulla' Cassy had was one of charity, she would not see this young lady struck down because she failed to realize that whoever this man once was...was far gone.
The amount of rage in the Force whipping through him was enough to make Cassy straight up turn off her empathy senses simply to remain focused an serene. A gathering of Force seemed to emanate from the Sith as his clothes flared up a little.
By instinct, Cassy gathered the Force through her thighs and performed an Ataru leap backward.
A slow-mo would go off of her performing a pinwheel flip backward through the air, tucked like a ballerina as the ground literally 'shattered' on the spot where she'd been standing, sending chunks of earth and debris everywhere. Her lightsaber hummed as she spun like a bottletop mid air, landing about ten feet back from the now small crater in the ground.
She spun her lightsaber a few times threateningly, her instrument hummed and sang at her side as she stepped forward, flicking it like a whip. Although....as Varulla approached the Sith, and actually touched him in a non-threatning manner, Cassy stopped moving, the crater still between them.
"........................." Cassy decided to see if she could somehow get through to the Sith, it was worth letting it play out, the worst that could happen was that their duel continued, scratch that, the worst that could happen would be Dia or 'Varulla' getting stricken down at close range defenseless...and then their duel continuing.

Koeing's focus was no longer on the Jedi, he had just about completely forgotten her existence he was more worried about Varulla and how he could save her. Standing now he reached out through the force and enveloped Varulla in it to lift her slowly about chest height in the air.
He would take her to his ship, which in honesty was not far then fly her to a planet without Republic affiliation and get her medical care, until then Koeing would to the best of his ability continue to heal the most precious person to him, this fragile Twi'lek woman who he cared so much for.
Leaving the Jedi behind she got a free pass to live today, which was not something most got when it came to Koeing. She should be thankful Varulla intervened or he would've crushed every bone in her body one at a time until she begged for death then he would've left her to die, crippled and screaming in pain.
