Darvek doesn't like Loro, mainly because Loro wants to kill him. Darvek knows the only way to really make sure Loro can't kill him is to...well, kill him. So Darvek lures the most ancient powerful warriors in the galaxy to either do it for him, or distract his guards so he can do it himself. And because Darvek is overconfident as hell he doesn't plan on this backfiring in any way.
