Description:
Within the Sith military Special Operations and Imperial Intelligence agents, this rifle is affectionately called "the true sniper rifle". Its ammo is limited, and it cannot be quickly reloaded with a magazine, because of its breech loading. It forces the shooter to be utterly certain with each of their shots, and not to rely on it as an over-sized assault rifle of some sort, like some less talented "snipers" have boasted about doing. This weapon, in a way, forces a sniper to operate as one.
A design flaw to the gun is much like with many breech loader rifles in days now long past, which is jamming. When firing two or several shots in quick succession it has a high chance of jamming. However, if a sniper is doing such a thing, then they are a careless shooter.
Veteran sniper scouts in the Sith military* and Imperial Intelligence tend to like using this weapon as it is a testament to their skill of never being forced to use more than five rounds in the field. One shot, one kill, and all that good stuff.
*It is known that a few of these rifles have made it into the hands of Dantooine Liberation Army rebel scum via raids on Sith military caravans and catching careless snipers.
