Home at the Temple [Open]

[Res]

Resaat sat listening to the two other Padawans talk back and forth. He was intrigued by how much Onna wanted to connect to the boys. She must be lonely Taa though looking at the young woman speaking. The orange skinned Togruta adjusted himself on the bench listening to the rest of the conversation before speaking aging.

"I'm not sure about that Onna. It would be up to the Council and my master. Knowing Master Konti, he has some wild idea he wants to do."

It was true, Mal Konti was not the typical Jedi. He had a particular strangeness to him, though Resaat did not mind at all. It was a challenge that he gladly accepted and wanted to take. The Togruta knew the more challenging the master was the better training he would receive. The Padawan had thought it through when he accepted the offer to be Mals Padawan.

"Personally, I hope we stay here at the Temple for awhile. I would love to sleep in an actual bed for once."

Onna asked about when the two would be leaving Coruscant, Resaat answered first, "I'm not sure about that Onna. It would be up to the Council and my master. Knowing Master Konti, he has some wild idea he wants to do. Personally, I hope we stay here at the Temple for awhile. I would love to sleep in an actual bed for once."

Gharassk spoke up next, I guess I'm in the same boat... he started off, I don't know when I'll actually get to go again, i didn't go on my masters last mission, but hopefully I'll get out again soon. Gharassk said remembering his confinement to the Temple, he didn't mind being in the temple as much as he was, but he did like to get out of the temple too.

Gharassk shrugged, before asking the same question to Onna, What about you, have you been taken on a mission yet? Gharassk asked turning back to Onna to let her stay as part of the conversation.

Onna listed to what the two had to say about if they were going to be leaving soon. She was relieved that none of them were leaving as of now. Plus she was hoping that even if one was leaving they could get to become friends before they left but she was still not sure what was going to come from the conversation. Then she came to wonder if she would ever been on a mission. She had been on one but it didn't really count she didn't really do anything she hadn't even left the ship. Then Garassk asked her if she had ever been on mission. She could tell that the two of them both had been on one and that they didn't look like they had been easy. Onna didn't really want to answer and she didn't want to lie so she decided that she had to answer. She took a moment to think about what to say.

Well I haven't really been on a mission technically but I don't think it will be to long before I go on one because my master goes on plenty of them and as soon as he thinks I'm ready then I will probably go one one.

Onna was happy that they were trying to keep her in the conversation but she still could tell she wasn't as experience as the two of them and that made her feel a bit small. She tried to get her mind off of it so she thought she would change the subject.

Its getting a little chilly you guys want to go grab something warm to drink?

It had been getting cooler as the trio mingled in the garden. It might be a good idea to go find somewhere warmer to talk. Resaat looked back and forth from the Togruta to Onna. He could tell that Gharassk was getting cold due to him have no shoes on and Onna was could because she didn't have her cloak. Taa thought for a moment and then spoke.

"A warm drink does sound good. I suggest the dinning hall. They may have something there."

Res started toward the door and waited for the others to address him. It was hours before curfew and Mal didn't tell when he would be back. So Resaat thought it would be fine if he went somewhere else and got something to drink.

While waiting at the doorway he started watching the different Jedi go about their evening duties. Some were ushering Younglings to there rooms or to their last class form the day. There were a couple Padawans with their masters heading toward one of the many training rooms. Couple of the Padawans he recognized from his clan when he was a youngling. Others he didn't know since they seemed much older, but some species look older then they actually are. The Togruta Padawan looked back at his new friends and smiled.

Onna was glad that Res said yes to the drink so she sat there and waited for Garassk to answer her question. She wonder if he would say yes or not. Figuring that he would say yes though she stood up and waited for him to say something or to get up and fallow Res and her. Looking through the doorway of the Garden she could see people going about there business. They all looked like it was either the last assignment that there masters had given them or it was their last class for the day. Most of them looked like they were grateful that it was there last thing for the day.

Onna started to think about her days as a youngling. It hadn't been that long since she had been one but it had felt like for ever. She thought about the long days that she went through with class all day and then when she finally got to sleep it would only feel like a few minutes at times when she would have to get back up.

Then she thought about her life as a padawan they were really different. She got her own room. There were plenty of times were she didn't even have to do anything till the afternoon. Onna then came back to reality and look at Res and Garassk and wait for a response.

Onna answered his Question confirming she hadn't actually been on a mission, Then she spoke up and asked a question, Its getting a little chilly you guys want to go grab something warm to drink? Gharassk waited a bit, Resaat answered first, "A warm drink does sound good. I suggest the dinning hall. They may have something there." Onna and Resaat both looked to Gharassk.

Gharassk was knind of day dreming so he didn't notice their stares for a few seconds, when he did notice he kind of jumped his arms almost came unfolded, He looked to the duo and gave a nod along with a smile, Yeah; warm drink sounds nice! He said standing up.

Then the walk to the lunch hall began, In an attempt to keep a short conversation going he began to think of a topic, he walked more or less behind the other two, You guys got any hobbies? Natural Talents beside the force? Gharassk asked finally just before the Dining hall was coming into view...

Stepping out into the hall with other two Padawans he and Onna walked side by side as Gharassk was taking up the rear. It was a short journey to the dinning hall but it felt like forever. He was more tired than he thought, but the warm liquid would wake him up. Glancing over at the girl every now and then, he could feel her nervousness amongst the boys.

"Not really Gharassk. I can speak Togruti. A master taught me and a clanmate. I really don't have anyone to speak to, especially since she is on Tython at the temple there. Also most of the older Togrutas are far too busy to speak to me."

It was true, the last time he had spoken it what with Master Ka on Shili. It was only a brief spoken sentence but he got to speak his native language. Resaat smiled at Onna wondering what she was thinking about him knowing another language. They were about halfway to the dinning hall now and Taa directed the question to Jarsin.

"What about you Onna, got a special talent other then being a Jedi?

Onna walked by Resaat and heard Gharassk walking right behind them. She watched the many people that walked past them. Some were masters and padawans and others were just masters walking by. One of the padawans that walked past her was one of her old clan mates. Onna gave the clan mate almost like a high hows it going type of look and they gave her the same look back. They weren't friends and they only talked when they were partnered up together. This made Onna again think about her past as a youngling but was quickly brought back from the past when Gharassk asked a question.

She waited for Resaat to answer the question because she didn't really know how to answer the question. Onna listened Resaat answer and started again to think of a way to answer the question.

Well.....not really I'm not that far into my apprentice ship only a few months so I haven't really started to learn anything special and I only learned the basics as a youngling as I'm sure you both know.

As they took the short walk to dinning hall Onna thought about her training. She started to wonder what the next thing was going to be learning. Then the three walk into the dinning hall. There was only a few other people in the dinning hall. Most of them look like master and padawan getting a late dinner or sharing a drink. Then the three of them walked over to the drink area of the dinning hall.

Resaat got to answering Gharassk's question first, "Not really Gharassk. I can speak Togruti. A master taught me and a clanmate. I really don't have anyone to speak to, especially since she is on Tython at the temple there. Also most of the older Togrutas are far too busy to speak to me." Gharassn nodded understanding before Resaat reverted the Question to Onna, "What about you Onna, got a special talent other then being a Jedi?" Gharassk had thought that sense Resaat may have had an actual NEED, to speak to somene in his own toung, and fortunatly for him, Gharassk was also a Togruta, so in hsi home language, something Gharassk himself rarely got to do, he spoke, -Don't Get to speak in your own toung huh?- Gharassk Said as he walked, he gave a smile, but went back to Basic so as not to make Onna Feel left out.

They entered into the Food hall and Gharassk asked a basic question as he saw the couner, Anyone else eating beside me? He asked as he was about to wander over to the counter and grab some meat, he gave a look to both of the others before starting off and looking around for an actual table for the trio.

The Padawan nodded at the human as she spoke about her special talent or lack there of. There was nothing wring about not having any special talent. As they walked a little further down the hall Res heard Gharassk speak. Then he headed something he didn't except, the older Togruta spoke Togruti. A smile came across the lips of Resaat.

-You can speak Togruti? This is great!-

Taa responded in his native language then looked at Onna. Then noticed that Gharassk had switched back to basic. It was for the better not to spent in anything other than basic while hanging with Onna. They entered the dinning hall and walked to the drink area. Making a hot cider type drink he heard Gharassk speak again.

"Yeah, I could eat a little bit. What about you Onna?"

Res was trying to include Onna Jarsin in as much of the conversation as possible. He could feel something about her. Could it had been her out going nature or the fact that Resaat was happy that he finally had a friend his age. He hadn't had a true friend since Ono. He hadn't seen his Twi'lek friend since he was shipped off to the Agriculture Corps.

Onna listened as Resaat and Gharassk spoke in their native language. She was happy that the to could speak to each other in their language she felt like they didn't get to do it much and they like to speak in it every once in a while. For once she was glad for them and not left out because she felt like they were becoming friends and that they wouldn't talk all the time in their language because they would respect the fact that she couldn't speak Togruti. Matter of fact she even let out a little smile.

Onna walked over to the drink area and got a cup of coco. It was nice to get something warm into her system. She could feel the coco slowly making her warm again. Gharassk then asked if they were getting something to eat. Resaat said he was going to get something to eat and Onna thought she would get a little something to eat also.
Yea I think I will grab a little something to eat also. She grab a little salad grab her drink and then headed to were Gharassk and Resaat was sitting.

As she sat down she smiled because this was the first friends she had for a long time and she was glad she finally had someone else to talk to other then her master. She got the same impression from the other two. They hadn't done much talking to other people other then there masters and they were happy to be talking to someone else.

What other worlds have you guys seen besides Coruscant?

Both of the other two ened up wanting a little food also, so all three managed to be going through the food and grabbing drinks at the same time. Gharassk grabbed his usual of Hot Cocoa, and a variaty of meats. There was a Bantha steak, nice and rare, some Nerf Bacon, along with some other random meats.

No sooner then the Trio sit down, did Onna ask another Question that Gharassk answered first. Even though he was caught off guard by the question, Let me think, recent training on Chandrilla, Got my second crystal and ran into a sith on Ambria... Gharassk remembered the events that took place there, he continued speaking, though it was with a pause as he remembered Drukenwell and the events that took place right after... There was Drukenwell, and Rodia, He hoped neither of the two had heard of him before, it had become a slightly well known fact that the Padawan Learner, Gharassk Ran, had ran away from his mission. Though few people actually knew where he had gone, or why he had done so. He hoped he hadn't sparked something in there memory by telling them where he had been, he tried to continue on, Dxun, i wnet there with another Jedi in the short time i was uh...materless, anyway that was rather eventful, bounty hunters are not fun to deal with. Gharassk pointed out from memory, but one of the two bounty hunters there was different, Zett had much like Gharassk himself, lost someone very important, Though Zett allowed it to darken him Gharassk thought.

Then there's, Corellia... Gharassk remembered where his first master fell to the dark side, thinking back he had vary few good stories of off world.

Gharassk took a bite of his food then a drink of the cocoa, before turning to Resaat and asking the smae question hoping to avoid anyone asking about any of the missions. What about you?

Grabbing the food from the trays he followed the others to a table that was away from others. Setting down he listen to the girl ask a question about what planets they've been to. This was easy for him he had only been to two different ones. Since he had a mouth full of food he let Gharassk go first.

Listening to the older Padawan he was shocked that he had been to so many places. He wasn't much older than Resaat and Onna but seen so much. Though what stuck out was that Ran had met a Sith and lived. He had also ran into a Bounty Hunter but that could happen here on Coruscant. With Taa finished with the mouth full of steak he answered the question.

"I've only been to two different ones. First it was to my home planet of Shili where I got my crystal for my lightsaber. Then after that we went to Kashyyyk to gather some components for my lightsaber. The Wookiees are fascinating, I wouldn't mind going back."

Res finished and took a drink of his cider. He had finislly stated to warm up from the hot cider.

Onna listened as the two Padawans answered her question. It was fascinating to hear the planets they had been to. Onna wished that she could go to a different planet. There was just so many places to see and she had only left the temple once. Dan told her that she would get to leave the temple all in do time. That she just had to wait. She new this was true but it didn't stop her from wanting to leave any less.

She took a few more bits of her salad and then took a drink of her Hot cocoa. All those places sound interesting......I wish I could go to some were else. She almost mumbled the last part to herself. Hows the food? Onna said trying to make conversation.

She looked around real quick there were only a few other people in the dinning hall. Mostly masters and padawans that had most likely missed the dinner hour. Then Onna turned her attention back to the Padawans.

Ahh, Wookies! Gharassk said sort of jealous. But he was more or less teaseing, though he wouldn't mind meeting a wookie.

All those places sound interesting...... Onna chimed in and the mumbled something nearly inaudable, though What Gharassk gathered it was about wanting to go off world.

Gharassk looked to his trey, and though the food wasn't a warm as it had been when first cooked, nor was it as fresh, it was still rather good. Mines good! Gharassk said taking up another bite of the Nerf bacon. Then looked to Resaat and Onna to see about their own food.
