I did not mean to imply he was thousands of years old. I went back and clarified it, a bit, in the bio. He's from an ancient bloodline, isolated on the planet, spanning back to the time of the Great Schism when Jedi went against Jedi and the Dark Jedi were formed. So, he's the last remaining Dark Jedi on the planet. Someone who prefers to experiment in the shadows and presumably has no name save "Master." Which is sufficient enough for my purposes. I know there aren't supposed to be any unknowns. He isn't supposed to be an unknown. Just a prophet type Dark Jedi who decided to stay hidden.

I made it two years and put in a few more paragraphs of training description(ish), which means it's two years for the training, one year of teras kasi, one year being chased by Sith Empire.

This is good. Though what I intended with my comment was to keep in mind that you don't walk into a temple one day and walk out the next having perfectly mastered a technique. Rian is still Knight level, not Master, and I wanted you to keep that in mind when you go to role play with him.

As for the unnamed Dark Jedi Master, I'd feel better if you gave him a name as well as a reason for training Rian. As of right now Rian stumbles into his temple so he decides to train him. Does he do this for everyone that wanders in or is there something special about Rian? (Obviously there is, I just want you to say that in the bio).

For sure. He's not going to go around making dozens collapse in terror as he scrolls through the contents of their minds.

I gave the unnamed Master a name and a history. Read between his crazy thoughts and you should be able to make out my intentions: descendant of the great schism, raised in secrecy, went insane and killed all his friends, wandered in the wilderness for twenty years, Rian found him, he intends to make Rian his weapon against the galaxy. Hence teaching him such a heinous ability.

I added "Or so Rian thought," at the end. That should make it clear Rian is the narcissist here, not me loving on my horrible creation (I hope).

Simple, but effective I suppose. xD So long as it's understood that Rian is a 29 year old Sith Initiate and not the second coming of Naga Sadow, then it's all good.
