The avian droid could tell the Echani Jedi desperately wanted to rebuff her decision not to focus on figuring out who or whom was behind the senator's kidnapping. Years of living with Ina as well as other organics had given her experience in identifying the various facial tics of most humanoids. And while she could calculate where Chias was coming from, Ofi still held on to her belief that it didn't really matter in the large scheme of things. It was not indifference or overconfidence on the part of the mechanical bird; generally she was all for covering all her bases. But in this particular case, doing so would just take time that they did not have. If it was a choice between getting her friend out alive or knowing who was behind the scheme, it was a non-issue.
Thankfully, though, Chias acquiesced, closing the subject. Just after, Reiko excitedly announced that they were ready to enter lightspeed. Ofi briefly twisted her head to look over at the Wroonian before looking back ahead through the viewscreen and the familiar line of stars signaling hyperspace. The blue-skinned young woman might not be so eager once they actually arrived at their destination. Obviously the Weequay who had gotten into the apartment and departed with Ina after a scuffle with the droid was not the sole perpetrator. She felt it unlikely that he had masterminded the entire thing on his own. Whether he had had a team or had been hired by another entity was the big question. Something that even if they had the information on, as Chias had wanted, probably wouldn't have been a big help.
Ofi had run some possibilities through her droid brain once she had deciphered the vector the ship carrying Ina had taken. In that direction, the Weequay could have been going anywhere. The Corporate sector was that way and farther out, Hutt space. Either could be logical end points for bringing the senator to. Of course, the droid wouldn't put it past the ugly being to add a few false jumps into his journey to throw off any followers, and they could still end up on the other side of the galaxy from where they were heading right now. But considering they had not headed for one of the major trade routes, she considered that that was the only precaution the Weequay was taking.
No matter what happened in the next several hours, though, she still had the locator in Ina's pendant and would follow her friend wherever she was. And do whatever it took to rescue her and bring her back to Coruscant. With or without help from these two Jedi, one whose cockiness might get her killed, one whose timidness might also get her killed. She looked at the two, still strapped in the cockpit, hoping it wouldn't come to that. Not because she had gotten attached to them or would feel remorse at their deaths, but because they were a means to an end. Then with one more glance out the forward port, she lifted off from Reiko's seat back and flew deeper into their transport, looking for a place she could plug in and charge up for the desperate task ahead of her.
