Information brokering, eh? Allow me to throw an unusual (and potentially lame) proposal your way.

My man broski here, Dr. Rase Hyul, would have quite a need for information/someone to seek information for his personal needs. Considering his hefty involvement in the underside of the galaxy (despite actually being totally legal), he'd definitely have need for someone to keep their ear to the ground and tell him what's up now and then.

Fromikeable - That is a most unlame proposal, in fact, it's pretty awesome and so is Rase, if I might say. Love his hat And I can see some potentially hilarious relations between these two, considering Adriael's obliviousness and Rase's smoothness xD

It would honestly not be hard for Rase to catch Fierfek's attention, she would be very fascinated by the many exploits of his profession (the archaeological ones, of course)and his findings/research etc, and she's so terribly curious. After meeting him I think she'd be up for what you've proposed, so long as Rase would be willing to share his findings on occasion.

So, big yes to that, sounds like a lot of fun. Well, fun for Rase xD Were you thinking we do this as an arrangement that had already taken place, or start with their first meeting, or what? I'm open to anything!

That is entirely up to you, as I'm fine with it either way. Rase would mainly ask about three things; artifacts, treasure hunters, and collectors (and therefore associates of treasure hunters). Basically an ear to watch for goodies, an eye to watch for competition, and a nose to sniff out both xD

B'yeah, if they did already have an arrangement, it would be along those lines. Otherwise he could no doubt track her down and propose such an arrangement anyway. Really, it comes down to if you'd like them to already have history or not x3

And either way, we need a location. Considering their professions, I was imagining somewhere seedy, but at least middle-class. I'm not sure what sort of scene Fierfek frequents, but Rase could be comfortable in anything from country clubs to taverns to the university to a private ship. The man's nothing if not adaptable xD

Hmmm, it would make more sense if it was a new thing as Fierfek's mentor would never have allowed such a thing. So perhaps, we should start with their first meeting? Fierfek is pretty adaptable too...actually she is the least adaptable character I've ever written and she'll stick out wherever she goes, but she still goes wherever she needs to go which is everywhere. Comfort really doesn't come into it xD So the location is pretty open!

But I should probably stop being elusive and start contributing a decisions! Hmm, well Fierfek would be happy to visit the university in future but if it's Rase seeking her out...Maybe a yeah tavern/cantina/pazaak house somewhere, Selonia? Nar Shadda? Commenor? Just a couple of likely places. There are so many planets, I will never get used to this much choice xD And so many wookepedia tabs!

Oooooooooooo, playing a pazaak game would definitely be something she could find him doing. Beyond that, it doesn't matter much. For the sake of picking somewhere, uh... how about Selonia indeed? Also, would you mind making the opening post? I'm going to be a tad pre-occupied for the next few days, and I don't want to give you a crappy, rushed intro xD

Selonia it is, and who doesn't love pazaak? xD Well Fierfek is terrible at it but the love is all there. 

Regarding the post, no I wouldn't mind at all. I haven't yet opened a thread here on SWU yet! Firsts xD I do have a pretty crazy weekend about to strike,  but I'll have a post for you sometime soon. The 'in a few days' derivative of sometime soon as opposed to the 'yeah sometime whenever never' strain. So yeah, soon.
