Mission Briefing:

No truce stands between the Sith and the Corporate Alliance. With the Empire as well funded as it is by the Aristocracy, there has never been much need to outsource from the Alliance. With the Sith’s eyes turned towards Taris, plans for taking the world have been tossed left and right. Within one of Neimoidia’s cliff-hugging facilities owned by the Czerka Corporation lays the key to one of these plans. Only known as the ‘Screamers’, these devices were created with a single goal: Drive any rakghouls in the area into a frenzy. Having been refused by Czerka for the purchase of this technology, the Empire with aid from the Sith Order has dispatched a strike team to assault the facility disguised as a mercenary force. To attain the Screamers is one thing, to survive the mechanical, biological, and downright twisted creations of Czerka is entirely different…

I'm willing to start the thread and personally, I'd really like to see this mission completed. If there aren't any replies for more than two weeks at a time, I would like to post to move the scene along. Is that alright with you guys? I assume post order will be pretty standard otherwise - post when ya can in the first round and generally try to stick to that order later on.

Oh. And are we good to go with starting this off now, Dutch? Or would you like us to wait a bit for the other missions to fill up?

Oh, yes. Sorry. xD This is kinda maybe my first time with one of these mission thingamabobs so please do speak up with your suggestions and ideas. I only pretend to know what I'm doing. :3

I can see Jessoin in this for two reasons:

1. Being the voice to Darth Renata's interests on Czerka stuff

2. Simple talent for killing/destruction. When Renata wants something destroyed, this is the apprentice she sends.

As for Czerka creations, pretty much the sky's the limit. At first they'd prolly just be fighting Czerka security personnel/droids, standard private military stuff...

... and deep, deep within the cliff tunnels lay the true monstrosities *_*

there should be a cybernetic enhanced rancor at some point :3

Experiments with the rakghoul virus seem like an obvious choice.

Anyway. Darth Novus is in on this mission because her plan for the Taris ground battle hinges on acquiring these nifty devices. Sent along by another Darth certainly works! I'm gonna go ahead and assume Ryn is along as Novus's apprentice. xD

With a team like this ... I think it's safe to say we're not trying to be too stealthy here. Besides, Czerka probably doesn't get too many offers for this sort of tech.

My personal brain movies have sorta mapped this place out similarly to an Umbrella Corp. facility (Resident Evil), if that helps ya'll imagine it/what's within a bit better.

Since ya'll are in this, I can go ahead and confirm the Screamers are gonna be sorta key to the HoT event. The plan is entirely Novus' though, so she'll be the one in charge/leading the mission.

Yeah, this is a full blown assault on the Czerka base. Sack and pillage for all the research/tech/prototypes the Sith can nab.

I second the cyber-Rancor.

If we're doing the disguised as mercs things (at least at first), Zarene would fit in well with that since she is quite adept at killing things using non-lightsaber, non-force methods. She'll probably be a bit mistrustful towards Ryn, since he's new. How did he come to join the Sith?

Anyways, I'm ready to start whenever you guys are.

Yeah from what I gathered most of us who signed up have a character with some sort of firearm knowledge. Sorta came through perfect for the merc disguises, right?

Ryn joins the Sith after a series of conversations with Novus that happen in this thread-in-progress, here. He Who Fights Monsters.(Clicky!) (Srsly Novus is such a bad influence.) It'd be very unusual for anyone to trust him at this point, really. *_* Or anyone. I don't know, YMMV.

I third cyber rancor, second loot sack, and yeah, you can thank Novus for Ryn's fall. As far as merc disguises, Ryn knows how to hold a blaster. That's about it. He can, however, space kung fu them in the face pretty well.

Had a few ideas I thought might be worth tossing here for when they get deeper into the base.

No comms. Czerka probably wants to keep its lab research secret, and prevent folks from say, transmitting blueprints out of the lab to a potential competitor. So once our Sith get deeper into the lab, their comms with the gunships gets cut off. If you want to take it a bit further, maybe even their comms with each other get cut off. Maybe there's some kind of device in the labs that jams comm signals or something. This could be interesting in the event that they...

Split up. Since there's four Sith, it might make sense to split them off into pairs. Maybe they do so voluntarily to cover more ground, or it could be because some big energized blast door ends up cutting them off from each other. THey could end up in different parts of the facility facing different things.

Anyways, just a few thoughts.
