Taking notice of the dozen or so sentries posted around the camp, Keegan bolted inside while he had the chance. A quick glance around the dusty room was less than satisfactory. Nearly empty, at best. Examining the gear outside the door, it was definitely Republic, although the amount of blood stained on it was concerning. Curiously enough, the upper level housed a large radio stack. Communications tower, maybe? Even if it was, he couldn't see them needing one unless they were here for a much more sinister reason. Stranger yet, it had been left on. Chatter fed through its speakers and into the empty room with a ghostly echo. As if on cue, an unarmored man marched up the stairs behind them. Keegan took him down quick, knocking him out cold before he fell back down the stairs. Back to the task at hand, he decided to eavesdrop on the radios chatter for a good while. Pretty quickly it became evident that whoever these guy's target was had escaped. If they are hunting someone, it's probably a good idea not to alert them someone's still here.

Sora was inside just ahead of Keegan, and she owed her lead to her relative lack of armor and weapons, as well as the force. Inside the room, there wasn't much at all, and it was in need of a good cleaning. There was a certain stench as well that she could smell even through her mask, or maybe it was just her imagination.
Not far away was a radio column reaching its way up. It was on, meaning that someone would be coming back to it. She reached out with the force, and felt someone heading up the nearby stairs. Before she could react, the man reached them. Luckily, Keegan was quick on the pull, and took him out. Perhaps here were more people down the stairs, seeing as this guy was unarmored. She moved closer to Keegan, keeping her voice down.
You think he has friends down there?

Sora spoke, snapping him briefly back to reality. If there was someone down there, they probably would have made some sort of commotion in helping their comrade. For all they would know, he haplessly slipped and fell down the small flight of stairs.
"Dunno. Not worth risking it. We should probably hit the road while we can."
Deathly silence surrounded the room as he readied his blaster, slowly checking the floor below them discreetly. Once he felt sure they were alone, at least for the moment, he proceeded down past the motionless man on the floor and to the doorway.
"Looks like you were right. Wonder where they came from."
Outside, dozens of them swarmed around the encampment like an enraged hornet's nest. Alot more than when they came in. Maybe they had found something. Or someone. Regardless, their window for getting out without being shot to swiss cheese was closing. In the distance, a couple trucks were pulling in through the trail. Choosing the right moment, Keegan bolted back out of the door, diving back into the cover of the dense foliage behind the building. A few feet away lie the bloodied guard propped up against the foundation, and in the distance he could barely make out where he dropped a patrol earlier.
He made a valid attempt of coating himself in what mud he could. It wasnt much, but it was better camouflage than dark black armor. Wouldn't be long before they found one of the guards. Whatever their next move was, it needed to happen fast.

Sora listened to what Keegan had to say, and shrugged slightly at his words. She really wanted to go check out what was downstairs, which may have been something useful, but it wasn't worth the risk, especially now, with more people starting to fill the encampment. Looks like they found something out.
When Keegan sprinted away from the building, Sora fallowed, right on his heels. She used the force to help mask their movements and sound, which was fairly difficult to do running, but they made it back to the treeline without issue.
Now that they were stopped, Sora mostly closed her eyes in concentration, and opened herself to the force, simply making sure no one looked their way, and also to make sure that, if they did, they saw nothing but the vegetation around them; She didn't want anyone sneaking up on them.
What's next? This place looks a little busy, but those hovertrucks had to have come from somewhere...
