So, I just wanted to write something and just had the vaguest idea and now here we are. If I get in the same state again I may carry on with it, then you get to witness more of what my brain came up with whilst I was writing this out. Sometimes it's fun to just kind of wing things out without really thinking about them or going over them very much.
So, yeah.

“-So then she head butts ‘im, and the look on his face, shoulda seen it, not what he was expectin’.”
“I bet, ran back and cried to his boss I s’pose?”
“Yea, little coward made out she’d tried t’ ‘ssassinate ‘im or somethin’.”
“So what happened next?”
“Well, course now the leader of the Garush got this big thing ‘bout pride, so as much ‘s he wants to bash the guy’s head in for just bein’ worthless, he’s got this big reputation o’ his to uphold. So he seeks Neru out, manages to surround ‘er, squares up, gets real close, guys at his back. And Neru-“
“What?”
“Oh, Neru, was just telling the guys ‘bout how you earned a spot in the gang.”
“You love telling that story far too much.”
“Well it ain’t my fault you got bigger balls than most th’ guys I’ve met. Plus, lets the new’n’s know not to mess with ya.”
“What happened? What’d she do?”
“Right so he’s there, right in ‘er face, this guy’s big as well. He starts streamin’ out some utter rubbish ‘bout what he’s gonna do to ‘er for disrepectin’ the big bad Garush gang. She just looks at ‘im, smiles, clocks ‘im right in the head and the guy’s just out, in front of all the lackeys he’d brought with ‘im.”
The room erupted in laughter whilst Neru just stood there quietly. She got that this was a whole bonding experience for the gang, but she’d rather she wasn’t the focus of the story. She could feel a few eyes wander her way, but she didn’t meet them.
“That’s a great one boss, got any more stories?”
“Oh that tale ain’t done yet kiddo. That ain’t the only reason I wanted ‘er in the gang so badly. Neru may ‘ave taken the meanest one out but she’s still got them Garush goons t’ deal with. Soon as she’s taken down their boss, Neru snaps up ‘is blaster and just wipes out all them little street thugs. Ten t’ one and she just wipes th’ floor with ‘em.”
There was less laughter after that part, and more wandering eyes. This time she met a few, most shot away a moment later. “Careful boss, you’re scaring them.”
“Well I figure the brats should ‘spect and fear you like the rest of us.”
Their gang had a pretty modest setup, they weren’t anything that special but it felt a little something like a home. And it was nice to feel respected, appreciated even. Before the boss could break into another story, there was a knock at the entrance. He looked over at quizzically, which was how he looked at quite a number of things, before ordering two of the guys to go and deal with it.
Before the annoyance could be forgotten and the gang’s bonding could continue there was a loud cry of pain. Over by the entrance stood a man with bright pink flesh and thick black hair, a large grin on his face and two of the gang’s members laying at his feet.
“They never expect the flying jump kick greeting. Oh, hey there folks.” Immediately everyone leapt from their seats and drew whatever weapons they had on them. The intruder raised his hands in surrender. Neru stood; her hand paused by her holster, ready to draw.
“Who the hell‘r’ ya?’
“Steady there! Before you all shoot me there’s someone I want to introduce you to, please put your hands together for my sidekick, the grand, illustrious, all-powerful Dark Overlord of the Sith, Darth Iniquitous!”
A robed figure entered the room and removed its hood, revealing the metallic surface underneath.
“Also known to his friends and loved ones as Ini.”
“I told you not to call me that.”
“What do you care master, it’s not like they’re going to tell anyone.”
“What’s that thing? Is that a droid?”
The zeltron looked at the gang member who had made the comment before slowly turning towards Iniquitous and giggling.
“Do I look like a droid?”
“Well, with the helmet on you do kind of just look like a droid who fell into some blankets on the way here.”
A blaster shot through the air and hit the ground before the two intruders. The boss was not happy. “Whatever the hell you two want, you’ve come to the wrong place.”
“Oh, I do so hope not, otherwise one of my contacts will wind up dead and I like him, he’s nice for a drug dealer. Is this not the gang where Miss Neruverra Palmas resides?”
Neru’s hand tensed, she hadn’t heard that name in a long time. And in that precise moment the robed man turned hiss head and despite the lack of eyes or a visor, she got the distinct feeling that he was looking directly at her.
“Ain’t nobody by that name ‘ere. I’ll do you a kindness, leave now an’ we won’t kill you.”
“Oh darn, I know you don’t like misinformation, but do we have to kill Toshy for this?”
“She’s here you idiot, I’m looking right at her.”
The zeltron looked from Iniquitous to different places around the room. “Yea, I can’t tell where you’re looking.”
“At her.” He raised his arm and pointed at Neru. She felt a cold chill creep over her, something that she had not felt in all her time on the streets living amongst the gangs. She was scared.
“Oh thank the Force, I really didn’t want to kill Toshy.”
So, yeah.
