Syrin would allow herself to give a faint smile to the reptilian man. The not so subtle tug as he attempted to penetrate her mental defenses to understand what did entail the favor in return. However if he was able to do so, the Trandoshan would have fine nothing there. Her thoughts were well hidden, those led to her deepest and darkest secrets that no one should see unless she risked giving a tool of her undoing.
The favor would be used when the time arose, and it would depend of her needs at the moment if nothing else. But she didn't plan to have Sarkh killed, such would be a detriment to the Sith, specially if someone like him could be of great service for the Empire and Order. More so in evidence of the lackluster cadre of trainees that Juall was handling at the moment. But before that any planning could be done, she supposed she had to give the code to him.
"Just a second." Syrin said calmly.
The woman pulled her personal datapad, punching commands through the interface as she begin to infiltrate the network of the academy with a practical ease. A part of her wanted to suppose that this was mainly because the Empire did little to expect a cyber attack to their data networks at the academy from enemies of the new order. Still a part of her wished that whoever handled the encryption systems took their job more seriously. With a few commands she managed to retrieve the necessary codes and mask the Trandoshan signature in case a security guard decided to look at the few holocameras installed in the underlevels.
"Here you go." Syrin said, handling a holodisk to the reptilian. "Don't shove it the control panel, use a datapad to interface with it."

With both amusement and curiosity did Sarkh watch the smaller human, her little nuanced smile hint enough that she'd sensed out what he had attempted and, whilst not aggressive in response, knew she had the real power. The probing attempt had been worth a shot, Sarkh reasoned, and it seemed that perhaps even daring despite the failure was worthy of some respect. It also raised the question, quite curiously, that the human had been capable of doing the same to him.
Or perhaps, just perhaps, she already had.
The notion wasn't far-fetched, as it was well known that the Jedi were certainly capable of telepathy; it wasn't a stretch to believe the Sith were also capable of such feats. Even Sarkh himself had some minor talent in the area, however blunt his methods were, and his training had been furnished by his own hand, not that of a practiced expert. To believe that the woman, Syrin, had peered into his mind was not something Sarkh had ruled out, but in fact, the Trandoshan couldn't help but wonder what her reaction would have been.
"Please; I may appear primal, Syrin, but I'm familiar enough with technology to open a door." The Trandoshan offered in response as he closed in, the reptile's expression surprisingly softening despite the quirking of his brow. There was little insult upon his face or his stance, as the scaled hand still reached for the holodisk. The promise of free space, after all, was more than enough to mitigate any offense that her presumptions may have offered.
However, there was a momentary pause, and for the briefest moment as the Trandoshan leaned forward, did his smoothly-scaled face darken. Cold, for lack of a better word, almost to a chilling degree, his reptilian eyes gazed into those of the human not as a mark of respect but one of examination, peering into her mind through the proverbial 'windows to the soul'. The man's voice, likewise, lowered slightly; a careful balance between speech and whisper that could have froze water.
"And I'm to presume that this deal between us doesn't leave this room, am I correct?"

Syrin would raise and inquisitive eyebrow at his statement. It came as a surprise that the reptilian man would consider that she would use his slight problem for her advantage. After all, she had consistently proven that between her and the rest of the Sith, there was much difference. The political and courtly intrigues that seemed to be the closest akin a national sport within the order were of little meaning or consequence to her. It was only a determent from what the Order and Empire could achieve if everyone sought to focus efforts into a same direction.
The shaming of an acolyte was useless at best. It would do little to bring her into a social a better standing within the order, as it was, she had a long road ahead before she could even be considered for a promotion into a Lord. And as she saw it, there was more to be reaped from having and ally in Sarkh, than making an enemy. Specially one that was as well versed in the hunt and assassination of Force Sensitives as she was. A rare find among first time students indeed.
"Sarkh." She said with a serious tone. "I do believe that it is abundantly clear that I have no such intentions. The silly games other Sith play do not interest me at all."
While she did not partake on such games, a part of her was ever ambitious. True, the darkside was her ally. She could feel the binding force with each breath as it resonated in her body, every cell chanting a canticle in unison that promised strength and power, power she would use to make the will of the Force true. But she knew that her power had limitations. And as she kept with her personal endeavor to push further the boundaries of what she could manifest through the Force, she would need of allies.
"Not a word leaves the room." The Knight said in honesty. "I suppose there can also be honor between Hunters and Assassins, wouldn't you agree?"
