Syrin would closer her eyes and curl her lips into a smile amidst the kiss as Maura leaned forward. It took for her a moment to savor the moment. A moment that for her seemed to elongate for eternity and that in fact she had not wished for it to end. All the anger she had felt due the memories that hearkened to the time in which she was a child living on Dantooine, her mother's murder and father's betrayal, evaporated as their lips made contact.
Maura's hand caressing her cheek would only manage to intensify the moment that left her utterly breathless. A part of her pondered if this was what a first kiss was supposed to mean. Compared to the lips of her late master that had forced her way with her, Maura's could only be described as heavenly and reassuring. However the woman would back away, leaving Syrin partly confused and partly eager for more. She would open her eyes full of bliss, hearing her question and processing it before managing to come with an answer.
"Yes, much better." A faint smile appeared on her lips.
Her violet eyes would be trained on her figure while her hand would snake her way to her lap and down to her knee. It was odd, to be certain. As while she knew very well that how she felt was the product of the mental chemistry that occurred in her brain at the moment, all rationale would be swept aside for the moment the two had begun to share and that she wished to experience more. Without much warning she would lean forward, pecking Maura's soft lips again before backing away, sure of what to say next to the woman.
"If I get to feel even better is up to you." Syrin said with a smirk.

Finally Maura had done something right and it felt right. The look in the other woman's eyes made Maura want to go in for more but she held back. Consent was important, especially with one less sense to work with. When Syrin confirmed that the experience had been enjoyable Maura visibly relaxed. Her spine straightened and almost unconsciously she inched closer to Syrin. Syrin really was beautiful physically but there was something else that was alluring about her. She grinned and winked at Syrin. "Glad I could help you out." Only the movement of Syrin's hand to her knee could draw her attention away from Syrin's lips. The quick peck could have so easily devolved into something Maura wouldn't so willingly stop. "If I get to feel even better is up to you." To the people Maura grew up around having this kind of encounter with an almost perfect stranger would be outside of what was acceptable. But the benefit of getting to see a number of different cultures was that it exposed Maura to many different ideas of what was acceptable. She was a grown woman who could make her own choices and in that moment she decided to throw aside any sense of self consciousness over sleeping with Syrin. Maura gave Syrin a sly smile, sliding to her knees and leaned into her again, pressing her chest against hers. "I would love to make you feel better."
Maura had a moment of total confusion. The room was no longer dark as the sun had come up and came through the blinds in slots. Quickly, she sat up and looked around. Immediately she regretted the speed at which she had moved. Maybe she'd been more affected by the alcohol than she'd originally thought. When her eyes landed on the sleeping form beside her the memory of the night before came back in a flood. Oh...yeah. She couldn't help but smile wide to herself, strangely proud of herself. Before she could look away, though her eyes caught something that the dark had concealed before. All over Syrin's back were scars, from what Maura could only guess. Her stomach turned uncomfortably. Not because the gore disturbed her or took away from the woman's beauty but rather because she didn't want to imagine Syrin in the sort of pain that would gain those wounds. She looked away wanting to think of something else but they landed on her metal leg that jutted out from the tangle of sheets. That was something the darkness could not have hid.
Maura had a tendency of rolling around in her sleep and had somehow gotten the sheets wrapped around her like a burial shroud. Without any sort of grace, Maura crawled out of the bed and inched along the ground before getting to her feet. Her stomach twisted with a need for food, a need Maura fully intended to meet. She situated the sheet, wrapping it around herself tightly so her hands would remain free. The only proper thing to do in a situation like this was to prepare breakfast for the two of them. Unfortunately, Maura was rather loud as she rummaged through the kitchen. It was a matter that her parents rarely mentioned to her. Maura couldn't help it if she couldn't hear herself.

In her dreams she felt as a gliding cloud. Free and unopposed, with only the soft and fresh breeze to guide her. It was a sense of bliss that she seldom experienced as she slept. As her consciousness took command slowly, she would ask herself when was the last time that a dream of such beauty had graced her sleep time. Most often than not, there was nothing but a vast dark sea and occasionally nightmares of what had happened when her mother died and she was sold into slavery.
Cold make her skin erupt with goose bumps. However as her violet eyes opened and she found herself slowly remembering what had transpired the night before, the cold could not really be attributed to the reaction she skin presented. Her hand would try to seek the lovely shape of Maura, covered by sheets, only to find the still warm vacant space that her body had occupied. The Sith would turn, pulling whatever cover in the form of sheet or blanket to cover herself. Her sight adjusted to the sunlight that penetrated the room through the blinds in slots.
While her sight could not find her, she could hear the sound of something frying and the scent of food being cooked gave her an idea of what she was doing. Syrin would seek for the clothes that she had discarded. Quickly she dressed, covering her torso and waist, she sneaked behind Maura's back. Unsure of how she had not being heard after almost knocking the empty glass of Corellian Beer and expelling a curse word, being ashamed of the lack of usual grace that she exhibited due her assassin training.
Syrin would take a few moments to admire her lover. Despite the sheets that covered obscuring the features of her body, she could remember well every detail that she had explored. Her sight would be directed to her prosthetic leg, however it was minimal, the allure that Maura had was not diminished by it. She found herself biting her lip, only to allow the impulse to go forward and place her arms around her, in an attempt to surprise her while resting her head on her left shoulder.
"Good morning..." She chirped to Maura.

The mystery meat smelled delicious. Maura had found something that she believed to be some kind of breakfast meat in the cooling unit. Regardless of what it actually was, it certainly smelled good. Maura inhaled the salty scent scent happily. Once again her stomach grumbled in want. Beside the pan, mingling with the juices from the meat, were some eggs. She wanted all of it in her stomach right then and there. How she'd gotten this hungry, she'd never know.
Without any warning, a pair of arms twisted themselves around Maura and a head came to rest on her shoulder. Having not sensed or had any indication Syrin was behind her, Maura jumped. Her heart pounded in her chest hard before realization set in. Maura's hand came up to rest on Syrin's arm. A small laugh escaped her throat. Nothing like a little scare to wake someone up in the morning. Sensing that the food was done, Maura switched the heat off and pushed the pan aside. Slowly, Maura twisted in Syrin's grasp, turning until she was face to face with the woman. "You scared me half to death!" she said all while laughing. Maura's arms snaked their way around Syrin's waist, giving her a slight squeeze. Syrin was so warm from the bed. For a moment she allowed herself to gaze up at Syrin's face, just smiling before pulling away slowly.
"I don't know about you but I'm starving," Maura scooped the food onto the only two plates in the apartment and walked them to the table. "I was going to serve you in bed, but I guess the table is a bit less messy, eh?" She slid into the chair, still clad in her sheet. Maura gestured for Syrin to join her. "Sleep well? I know I did."

A part of Syrin was disappointed that the cross of gazes didn't develop unto something more. Although for the majority of her mind, she was just content by Maura's lovely touch and and small squeeze she felt around her waist after her lover's hands had snaked their way around her. That being said she could agree that the hunger panged. There had only being alcohol in their system last night after all. Due the untimely arrival of their "friends" seeking to have a word with the two of them would prevent them to have a timely meal in their meeting.
Syrin would follow Maura, noting the clicking that the prosthetic produced as it touched the floor and slid the alloy as the leg followed the natural leg movement, finding it such small detail funny. As she sat before the woman, still clad in the bed sheets, Syrin had to wonder if Maura had seen the streaks of flesh ravaged on her back a handiwork of the master due the brutal training that it had being given to her as she begin to take her first steps into the path of the Darkside of the Force. They had slept together, explored each other's body and even if darkness had provided a shroud to hide the mended flesh, it would only mean that she had seeing them.
Irrationality took hold as she wondered if Maura had found her less desirable for them. Another part of her mind then questioned the validity of such question. This had begun as just a fling, nothing more. Spent time with her before leaving the world under the pretext of another job. Whatever plans she had at first were seemingly overwritten for a still gestating plan, or so she believed. Perhaps what she had to do was consider everything a step at a time. The veil of concentration was ruptured by some of her words.
"I slept fantastic." Syrin said with a smile accompanied by a fluster that brought color to her cheeks.
Fantastic was perhaps short of describing what had being experience after last night. There was lightness and warmth that she had not felt in a long time. Shifting her gaze at the meal that had being laid for the two of them, her inspection only resulted in approval. Another quality which she supposed that was added to the lovely person that Maura seemed to be. A cooked meal was something she wasn't used to, nor she could say that she could procure to transform ingredients into something as nourishing as this. Preferring the ration bars that provided her with the correct amount of nutrients to function.
One bite was all it took for her to recognize the quality of the meal. Even despite the seemingly basic ingredients. She would hum in approval as she chewed the soft eggs and properly cooked meat. She took her time, savoring each flavor as her taste buds adjusted to the combination that the ingredients brought to the meal.
"This is fantastic, Maura." She said with honesty. "Thank you."

It brought Maura unusual pleasure to know that Syrin had slept well. This was a side of the woman that she had not initially seen of the woman. Had Maura been left to guess what sort of person Syrin was given their first meeting she never would have guessed the woman was capable of blushing. She had seemed too cool and collected for that. Sliding into a chair across from Syrin, she watched her carefully. Maura hardly counted herself as a cook, but this time she hoped she had made something good. It made the young woman's heart leap happily when Syrin expressed her enjoyment of the meal. Maura gave her a huge grin, taking a taste of her own portion.
"Not too bad if I do say so myself," Maura agreed with a smile. "I would have added more spices but your kitchen is a bit sparse. Not your fault, thought." She took the moment to take a few more bites, letting the pleasurable fullness in her stomach sink into her gut. With a heavy sigh, Maura continued to eat until all the food was gone from her plate. It was only after she had finished eating and her eyes drifted to the chronometer on the wall that she realized how late it was. For a moment her eyes went wide. It was late morning, almost afternoon and they had just now gotten up. "Wow, we both must have been tired, eh?" she asked with a chuckle. "Did you have anything planned for today? If you did you can leave me here, I'll survive."

The question that she had posed had detracted from her attention of the remains of the breakfast laid before her. Syrin had not truly accounted to spend the night with anyone, nor to remain with that person after they had shared the bed. The Sith Knight had never done so in the few missions in which she had allowed herself to be tangled with civilians. It was better to leave than to actually give more than few explanations of what could be categorized as abnormal behavior from her part.
A part of her often wondered what sort of change could bring to the passerby to learn that beneath the guise of a tech and communications engineer there lay a Sith Assassin infiltrated among them. Silently lurking behind her prey, ready to singe their flesh and rip life away from them without a second thought. She would always come to the conclusion that unless this were the citizens of the Empire, most would treat her with fear and reject. For her fellow Sith it would be nothing but either jealousy or contempt in most cases.
She supposed that given her background, having a mother who was a former Jedi, Maura would likely be part of the group to have a dislike for her. Perhaps it was a blessing that the employment she used for her cover was soon to end. The contract had only kept her here for a limited amount of time as a subcontractor of another firm that had no Syrin Elar in their records, but an Eida Bain, who had being working for the company but had never set a foot on it's premises. Now it was only a question to tell Maura about the fact that she would have to leave soon.
"It's my day off." Syrin explained after finishing her meal. "I'd like to think that the communications center can survive without me."
More so when she was attempting to avoid going out. After all, the night before she had slain a traitor to the Order and the Empire. It was best if she did lay low for a couple of days in order to avoid suspicion on her. Perhaps in that regard Maura was even more of a blessing. The prospect of staying was more inviting than before.
"Do you have something planned?" She asked.
