When his new "partner" appeared from within the ship, Theron let those blood-red eyes take her in from head to toe. She seemed fit and athletic, hardly something remarkable in their Order. He sensed the Force ebbing off of her, but it held a slightly chill. If he'd been asked to describe it, he would have compared it to the hollow lament that can only come from a Bothan dirge played off of a vibrolin. The sensation was subtle, but one of haunting loss.
In another place, at another time, with a different knight, Theron might have taken pause to try and understand the source of this...but not now. Now he had his eyes on the one that the Council had sent him to be watched over by. While she at least gave him a pretense of cordiality, he did not even bother. Instead, he left that common scowl upon his features and gave her a minute bow of his head in greeting. "Theron Lykaios. Specifically, I'm to come with you. The Council believes that it will be of benefit for me to work with you."
By his words, he made it clear that he was more than a little incensed by all of this. Perhaps a search through the Archives while they were travelling on the ship would give her a better indication of why. The resentment and anger at this...at the disrespect, was evident, washing over her with every beat of his heart like desert winds. He did, however, crack a small ghost of a smile...more of a smirk that curled one corner of his lip. "My apologies for that...you must have done something disreputable to be stuck with me."
That dry, self-deprecating humor was cut short, however, as he felt that dark disturbance. Cerulean lips peeled back in a grimace that might almost be mistaken for a grin as that anger focused more, seeking the source. This was a bad trick to play, given the reasons why the Council had basically shackled Theron to Sihara's side. The snap his of his lightsaber was heard as it was ignited, only one blade so far. He almost seemed eager, a bloodhound catching a scent as he reached to push Sihara from his path when she instinctively tried to step in front of him. He wanted a clear path to the one coming down the ramp.
All of that practice and discipline was shed away, drowned away in the flood of hate that overtook Theron. That sensation still brought him back to everything he had lost and he projected it on that man. He wasn't rational enough to realize the ruse as he came forward, spinning that elongated hilt around and igniting the other end once he was sure she was not in its path.
"You made a big mistake..."

As the young man's anger surged through him, and he pushed her aside, Sihara worked to keep her wits about her. Dratted men! How could they do this now? Here?! The guardian held out a hand and caught Theron by the shoulder, halting his progress.
Theron. Calm yourself. Shawn, stop this before someone here gets hurt, or worse.
The togruta woman could barely keep herself from bristling with all the dark energy eminating from the two. This was certainly going to be a long trip. Obviously Theron had a rather large misunderstanding of what the council had wanted....or perhaps not....but either way, it was something he had been asked to do. She had not been asked to 'watch' him, so much as try and 'calm' him so he would think more rationally.
Theron....by doing this you'll have made all of the council's assumptions about you correct! Calm yourself!

Shawn grinned down at the boy as his first saber lit up in a bright bristle before the next one came from the other end. Even with Shawn only being back a few hours several people had spoken of him and how angry he got and just by how shorted willed he was rushing into combat without searching his restraints which showed just how far the anger was taking him. Still strolling down the walk towards him as he pushed passed Sihara in a fighting mood he could only grin as this young boy spoke.
Stopping maybe 6 meters off from the boy to listen to Sihara's words the man's lightsabers slowly dispersed back into the hilt of the blade, the pieces surging back into their holsters by his control. Lowering his head every so slow the older knight looked upon Theron shaking his head some as he scuffed and spoke to Sihara directly as his gaze turned to her. "Sihara keep an eye on him...he's worse off then I was 13 years ago when I nearly turned sides and he is going to be harder to watch over. You also boy...control yourself."
Slowly the older knight moved down as the dark side dissipated into nothing more then a spark in Shawn's personality traits as a Captain. Moving to stand beside the young female knight he looked at Theron before speaking once more, this time a bit more friendly. "Shawn O'connor is the name and I am your captain. Old I may seem but boy I was once where you are nearly 13 years ago and without controlling your emotions you will fall to the dark side..." Bowing his head down to Theron he lifted it back up moving his hands to slid his robes back on either side to stand beside his new partner looking rather different considering he was rough around the edges unlike all other knights who lived by the code, this Jedi didn't since he wasn't of the Order anymore.
"Now please come we must make haste for us to get to Boz Pity for the trip is a bit lengthy since the ship is a bit outdated engines wise and we don't have time to get her fully upgraded until later...lets get you people some rooms and move on out of here finally."

"You think this is a joke? That this is something amusing? You who know nothing about me would seek to jest in such a manner. I don't care what you think you know or what you have been through. On principal alone I should..." He trailed off, trying to swallow some of the rage within him. Sihara's intervention had given his rational mind the moment of pause it needed. She stopped the swelling of that anger for a moment, long enough for the realization to pop into being of what the man was doing.
No Dark Jedi would be so foolish as to flaunt his power here, not like this. It would be suicide at best. He had heard of such talents...of being able to mask or alter the way one's Force could be read, but he'd never found the will to take the time to look into them more.
The man knew nothing about him...and Theron knew nothing about the man, other than he did not like him for playing Theron like such a fool. He'd killed the back half of his lightsaber once more when the woman had put her hand on his shoulder. He had enough presence of mind to not want to cause any collateral damage. They weren't in the heat of battle...yet....and it didn't seem that it was going to be that way as the man relented and snuffed out the coruscating blades of his own sabers. Theron shrugged out of Sihara's grasp, those eyes narrowed so far they seemed like bloody gashes in his face.
His anger wasn't helped by the man deciding that he needed to lecture the Chiss Knight on the dangers of emotion and the Dark Side as well. Everything would have been fine if he hadn't decided to try and be cute. "Well, Captain O'Connor, since you profess to know my situation so well, perhaps in the future you can be smarter about it and know not to provoke a wounded Kath hound."
He finally extinguished his other blade; his grip tight had tightened enough on the hilt that his knuckles had turned grey. He struggled to clamp down on his emotions and get them back under control. A glance was shot back at Sihara, half-wondering if she'd had something to do with the little stunt...but at O'Connor's beckon, he would move up the ramp and enter the ship.
This was going to be a long trip...

(Sorry i was late for the scare XD)
Torran mearly looked at the dark robes, he didn't put them on for many reasons, the biggest one being that he didn't want to do anything that could even slightly set him on a backwards track to the darkside again. One time in darkness was good enough for him " I'll pass" Torran said as he saw the new knight, a Chiss, fall to his anger. " That is a dangerous line you tread on my friend. Don't let your anger get the better of you. I'm sure you've heard that one a hundred times and more but believe me, the dark side will only bring you more pain and suffering, trust me when i say that." Torran stared off into nothing as memories of his past darkness flooded his mind. Torran quickly flooded these thoughts out with newer, more happy memories.

Sihara sighed heavily, thankful that the situation had been defused...if only for now. As the two others said their piece, she opted to say nothing. Sometimes silence spoke more than words. As Theron shrugged out from under her hand, she shook her head slightly.
Thank you.
She said, golden green eyes gazing directly at Theron. Thank you for not striking out was her full thought, and she let that show, through the feelings she let radiate out at him, before following Shawn up the ramp once more.

"Dear Theron I made a just like such to see if you are recoverable. I know how far to go when pushed against the dark side and I know that with Sihara traveling with you things will become clear to you being in the light to where you are not angered anymore. You may not know me nor I you but trust me...I've been to your place and back." Shawn bowed his head to the young Chiss knight before walking upwards towards the bay of his ship with everyone.
Now Shawn had expected such a reply, maybe worse, from this disgruntled knight but it seemed that having this Togruta female by his side to keep him hoisted down for now. Shawn wished he might have had someone like that but back when he turned not many Masters were open to take on a confused Jedi Knight like himself but in the end he pulled himself back form the Dark side by setting out on a journey to find himself which he did do.
Looking to Torran, Theron, and then Sihara Shawn waited for all to board before he waved to someone and the bay behind them began to close. "We will get everyone rooms and such as we get towards the bridge. Place what you want in there, go to bed, do what you need to but as for myself I will be on thr bridge if needed...if not there in the planning room looking over maps of Boz Pity." Shawn said as he led the 3 others for the elevator and once inside they jetted upwards and within a few seconds were all in an open hall.
Looking at the others for a moment Shawn would lead them pointing each person to a door for their rooms. The first was Sihara's to be shown, the third door on the right from the elevator; then came Theron's, 5 door on the left; and then Torran's, 6 door on the right. Turning to look at them Shawn would speak very quickly before turning to go to the big open arch at the end of the hall, the main bridge. "Please check your rooms and have a look around if you want. The only two places off limits on the ship is the engine room and the weapon ports. Have a nice rest for a few we lift off in 10 minutes."
Turning from them Shawn began to trek forwards over the metal grates under them towards the Bridge where he might be located else the next room was the door right outside the bridge, the mapping room/war room. Swiftly getting into the Bridge he looked around before looking to a few men down in the small pit. "Fire the engines, give a green light to the Council, I want all shields active and all gun prepped at all times. Get us out of here and heading for Boz Pity...we still don't know what awaits us there."

"I'm sure both of you have all of my best interests at heart, but save me from the sagely advice....you are right in assuming that I have heard this many times before. The last time I listened to someone that gave me sagely advice, they wound up getting themselves killed trying to live up to it." Theron had looked to the both of them for a moment before each took their separate path.
Reaching the entry to that turbolift, he rested his shoulderblades against the wall, waiting for Sihara as she followed them all inside. He had not missed the silent communication she'd sent; he'd felt the ripple of the emotions through the Force. Despite himself, he appreciated that she didn't feel the need to spout Jedi doctrine at him and berate his actions, even if she did feel he'd been out of line.
Theron was tired of everyone telling what he should and should not do...how he should and should not feel. He was no neophyte that lacked knowledge of the Force. He understood the danger of the emotions, but also appreciated the strength it brought at times. The other two spoke as though they'd once had similar paths and the Captain especially did not seem like he fit the standard Jedi mould. He'd have expected them to understand him more.
Reaching out, Theron closed deep blue fingers around her upper arm to get her attention and halt her progress. Catching her eye, he bowed his head slightly and gave her a smile. It wasn't much, but it was sincere, something rare as of late. He held that stare with those golden green hues, seeing her own pain as well. He did not ask about it...something told him she would not speak on it. Much like he would not readily speak about his own pain. He understood her silence and respected it, moreso now that she had given him the same respect in turn.
He let that emotion flow from him to her, a wordless thanks and appreciation. Only then would he move to enter the lift and see just what their accomodations were going to be like.

Sihara halted at his light grip of her arm and turned to look at him questioningly. What had brought this turn of events, she wondered. As he gazed at her, she felt a ripple of understanding flow between them and she nodded back once. Perhaps the council had finally done something right in calling her back? She needed an understanding like this...something not spoken, a silent agreement of sorts. Whether he knew it or not, she vowed to support him as best she could through whatever trials he was going through...and though she may not understand completely, or always make the right decisions, she would do her best to help him in any way she could...that was her job, and yet, it was more than that...it was what she WANTED to do.
A small smile flitted across her face as she saw his, and she allowed herself to absorb and return his thanks. Maybe...just maybe....it wouldn't be such a long trip after all? Breaking eye contact with Theron at last, she followed the others and turned to her room, stating a quiet 'thank you' before entering her cabin. It was small, but it had a bed and that was all she could ask for...especially since she'd recently returned from a place where she had found herself sleeping on the ground and in trees....which were not the most comfortable places to sleep after all. She chuckled quietly at the thought and set her pack down, pulling out the saber crystal she had found and taking the lightsaber from her back.
Sitting down on the floor, she set about dismantling her old saber. Once it had been fully taken apart, she set the pieces out before her and gazed intently at them, debating how to build the new saber and where to set the crystal in the hilt.

((Okay everyone has one more post in here before I post up in space for the journey a 2 hour spread from this time to that time so get your last posts in here.))
Shawn had taken hopes up of things possible to happen as he stood tall on the bridge watching as his few crew on duty prepped the ship for leave. Within minutes the ship was all green lighted with permission to finally set forward towards the Boz Pity space and the Hutt Territory. With the ship rumbling slightly around the hard shell it was almost like she was going to break apart but after the landing gear was drawn up the ship became more stable.
Watching the front window as the ship jerked forwards, Shawn watched the scenery of the Jedi Temple and surrounding city slowly move from its view. The city had grown around the Jedi Temple, the old architecture of the Temple unlike anything else surrounding it. Everywhere ships flew passed the lifting Frigate making sure to dodge its haul and not break the Jedi's concentration on passing scenery.
Soon the shift jerked forwards again at a 45 degree angle as it began to lift forwards towards the sky, the ship moving slow as can be since it was not made for atmospheric fighting but just landing and slow departure in combat. With the coordinates already given by Shawn it was finally time he could retire from the bridge for a while and into his own studies of the archives that had been updated by the Temple.
Leaving the bridge the lone knight took slow, paced steps to the door of the war room before it slid open. Looking inside the rarely used room Shawn remembered his days under his Master the flashback of planning the day his Master died but slowly he tossed this image aside and stepped foot into the room. No true lights came on when his body entered but in the middle of the room a blue hue arouse from a circle table before widening outwards to form a holographic projector of the galaxy, even some of the unknown filled in by their travels this being the only thing not deleted from the ships archives.
"Bring up knight log 11052...and play back the records of that day..." Shawn said in a low tone as he slowly as he felt the ship give a small jerk as they broke into space. Moving slowly deeper into the room the blue hue slowly began to take form of an old video record of something and as Shawn sat down it came a bit more clear. The image was that of a Jedi Master fighting a Dark Jedi Knight or Lord and over and over it played in Shawn's eyes as he watched this Dark Jedi slay the same Jedi over and over, slay his Master over and over.

He didn't answer her words, instead he simply canted his head slightly in reply before turning away and heading to his own cabin. There wasn't much, but Theron had took that monastic life style to heart. He had a bed to sleep on, access to a 'fresher and to food. It was more than he needed. He had a few changes of clothing, a roll of monofilament cabling and and extendable grapple, and a small vibro knife. There were a few small momentos that were of particular importance to him, but they were in a small, synth-leather pouch... always there but left unseen.
Idly he handled the pouch, letting his mind go over the events of the day. Putting it back into his travelling pack, he shook his head. He moved to the bunk, sitting cross-legged on it and attempting to slip into a meditative state so he might dwell upon the Jedi Code. He'd found himself doing that a lot lately, but it was no longer a peaceful time of reflection. Against his will, errant thoughts kept slipping in to undermine the serenity he sought.
[glow=blue,2,300]There is no Emotion, there is Peace.[/glow] ...then why does that feel like a lie?
[glow=blue,2,300]There is no Ignorance, there is Knowledge.[/glow] ...will this knowledge give me power?
[glow=blue,2,300]There is no Passion, there is Serenity.[/glow] ...then why does it give me strength?
[glow=blue,2,300]There is no Chaos, there is Harmony.[/glow] ...when will it break my chains?
[glow=blue,2,300]There is no Death, there is the Force.[/glow] ...when will I be set free?
He would continue to struggle with this...barely even noting when the ship began to lift off and head for the stars.
