Another one we can just sorta jump into whenever everyone is set. So many of you signed up

For those that were in Dread Locked, ya'll will have been among the first to arrive to Wayland and likely coming off the high of [REDACTED FOR NO SPOILERS] (dunno if that helps )

This here is gonna be a classic SWU Sith fancy party. Always ridiculous amounts of fun, and I'm hoping to continue that here. These are great for your typical Sith Imperial political maneuverings, so prepare to get your full Game of Thrones on

I have an opening post already mostly drafted up, so we can go on this pretty much whenever ya'll have addressed your comments/questions/concerns before starting

I just realized I have a question. Who's handling the security at the party? Just asking so I know whom Moff Torrik can lambast if there's a breach.

Besides the large number of Sith throughout? The Empire will have their new flagship overhead, and plenty of troops in the jungles below.

Mission Briefing:

The Wayland Marble Collective CEO, Octavius Vree has decided to throw an extravagant soiree to celebrate the contract signing between the WMC and the Sith Aristocracy. With the contract, comes his own joining of the Aristocracy and new appointment as Wayland’s Imperial governor. No expense has been spared, with seemingly endless rows of torches lighting the dark and tropical jungle scenery. Predicted to be the Sith social gathering of the year, Aristocrats and other members of the Empire have flocked to Wayland from all over the galaxy.

With a theme of hedonistic savagery and tropical barbarism lavish enough to wet any Imperials thirst, great beasts are to be cooked on hanging spits as servants dressed like native Waylanders serve food and drink aplenty. Hardly ones to be left out, many Lords and Ladies of the Sith Order have also arrived to partake in this. The contract has been drafted and signed by Governor Vree, and only awaits the stroke of midnight for a Sith to sign it on behalf of the Empire; reserved for the most influential Sith at the party.

The Governor recommends any guests arrive prepared for the steamy jungle heat, and sweltering festivities planned.

After speaking with Dutch, the final negotiations are supposed to be taking place at this event. Hence there will be underhanded, dirty tricks being played out by ambitious, ruthless personages. Therefore, those who know, go for the Game of Thrones vibe. For those who wish to partake in negotiation shenanigans, don't be afraid to speak up.

I solidified Tesa's position as the liaison between the aristocracy and Vree. It's kind of her thing, as a wealthy businesswoman and a well-known face in the Sith aristocracy. She'll be at the side of the shrewd, wise-eyed Octavius Vree, who will be (like all other contract signers) seeking the best upper hand. Tesa will ensuring everything goes as she... ahem, the Sith Order desires.

Because that's what we want, yes?

I believe dear Dutch requested to post just after me, to fill in some final set up details we discussed.

I will be controlling Octavius Vree through the soiree. However, since I did mention Tesa introducing Vree to members of the Order, you can assume the pair would approach your character for an introduction. =)

Okay so to be clear, if you are currently in Dread Locked but also signed up for Pride and Promise, we come in later? I thought I saw Dutch write that somewhere but I am not sure where.

Just so I know before I decide to pop an emote on Pride and Promise then realize that I have to finish Dread Locked first. (Just makin' sure ya know hommie?)

Actually, I think the passengers of Dread Locked are supposed to be first visitors (according the Dutch's first post of this thread), besides the aristocrats. That is not the most important concept, though.

You do not need to finish Dread Locked to be in Pride and Promise.
