Grawn watched intently as Daren finished off the Transdoshan, only to fall to the ground in exhaustion after killing 12 of the 15 men that had surronded him. 3 of them had survived, Daren weakened to the point he couldnt fully kill them all with lightning alone. Walking towards the survivors, severly shaken by the electricity, he gripped one with the Force. The man gasped and rose in the air, his hands going for his throat, scratching at a power that wouldnt release him.
Without mercy, he crushed the merc's neck and tossed the lifeless husk at another surviving merc, both falling to the ground. His eyes lit with glee, his blades humming for blood, he passed by the last of the merc's who had gathered the strength to lift his blaster. The weapon fired at Grawn, but the Dark Jedi had been waiting, immediatley reflecting the bolt before it struck him.
The bolt bounched back, striking the merc in his exposed face and immediately afterwards as the smoke dissipated, all that was left was blackened flesh with skull showing. The corpse fell to the ground with a dull thud and Grawn turned back to the last surviving merc, deactivating his lightsabers and putting them back on his belt.
"What do you want?!", the merc screamed, scrambling backwards, no weapon within reach. Grawn only grinned as the desperate merc got up and swung his fist. The Dark Jedi's mad grin only widened as he easily caught the mans fist in his own gloved hand. Eyes wide with panic, the merc threw another punch but it was the same, Grawn caught it with his other hand.
While he began to feel tired from his use of the Force, Grawn non the less smiled. "Your life.", he whispered and unleashed a storm of Force Lightning directly through the mans body. The merc's body convulsed violently, even as he held on to the mans fists, until finally it slumped. Sensing no life, he let go of the lifeless body and let out a ragged breath.
Slowly, he sat on the ground and took a deep breath, finding it somewhat hard to do so. He was exhausted from using the Force and the skirmish with the transdoshan. Looking over to the exhausted Daren, he laughed weakly. "That was fun."

Daren smirked from his position on his knees. but then his head snapped towards the direction the first mercs had come, "There's more...but they are staying back...they won't risk fighting us on our terms." he got himself up and picked up his lightsaber and attacted it to his belt. He also took the Trandoshan's blades and looked to Grawn, "Shall we continue." He said with a smirk moving towards the building. "You lead." Daren said presenting to door to him. "This is your walk down memory lane...mine will come soon." Daren smiled his power had grown while his time on the planet. He was no where near ready to face A Jedi Master but he was getting closer to his goal...and that was good enough for now.

Grawn nodded at Daren and stood up to regain his composure. The Dark power of Korriban was intoxicating, he had never felt so powerful in combat before and he never was so brutal. It was amazing. Looking to a nearby mountain base, he saw a small cave and his memories came back to him. "Its there", Grawn said between a ragged breath. The fight had taken alot out of him for the moment, it would take some time to recover. He motioned for Daren to follow as he composed himself and started to walk to the cave.
Memories of the past came to him, mostly of the bad kind. The pain was the most unforgettable, the training had been brutal but in the end, it was the old mans undoing to put him through it. Though the Force, he could feel that this was it, there was no doubt in his mind but the presense remained. Could Ibapo had survived? Grawn wondered. Impossible! He had crushed the man from the inside out by using Force Crush, their was no life left in the bastard.
Only way to find out, he thought as they entered the cave. Daren was still following, while Grawn wasnt sure of the man's motive, he was invaluable at the time. He didnt totally trust him though, a Dark Jedi craved power, the chance that Daren would attempt to kill Grawn when they got into the Hideout was a possibility but he would deal with that when the time came.
The darkness of the cave surronded them as they continued down it, the light of the entrance beginning to fade. Grawn could feel uncertainty in Daren which he didnt blame, Ibapos presense toxicated the place. As the turned a corner, a door was built into the cave wall. This was it. Gathering the Force, he sent a powerful push into the metal door, causing it to buckle in the middle and fall from its hinges. Smirking slightly, looking back at Daren, they entered.
The room was exactly as Grawn remembered it. Bookshelves lined the northern side of the wall, each, if he recalled, containing information on the history of the dark side and its forms. It was a rather large room, to the right side was another door that led to Ibapos living quarters and the left side held shelves of various things.
Grinning, Grawn laughed. But that laugh was short lived as a cold, raspy voice whispered in his skull. "Ive been waiting for you."

Daren had grown nervously as they entered the cave. Grawn kept turning back to him and he breathed deeply. Grawn looked upset about this place and Daren could feel why. There was something very dark with this place. Even with this feeling Daren wouldn’t leave he couldn’t leave. He moved behind him calmly wishing he had his cloak to warm him in this cold place but he smirked knowing it wouldn’t have mad a difference. Grawn pushed open a door and walked into a room. Daren smiled the room was filled with artifacts and teaching. It was what he has been searching for his whole time on the planet. Grawn suddenly seemed upset. “Grawn?” Daren said. He watched his ally wondering if their friendship had already ended. Daren kept his lightsaber close by as Grawn looked around the room distressed. He didn’t want to kill the Dark Jedi, he had much to offer and could become a powerful ally. Daren didn’t like how he was acting, he decided to let him explain himself, then Daren started feeling colder he could see his breath. Something was wrong with this place…

Ryn delved into the equipment pack to retrieve his jedi robe only to find that he left it on the ship, almost instantly the Jedi Knight's mind instantly berated him on his forgetfulness. Instead Ryn dropped the helmet to the ground, it narrowed his vision far too much, and took his lightsaber from his pack. He did not even have time to clip the thing to his belt before Lon ignited his lightsaber and attacked what looked like thin air.
That is until he saw a man holding a lightsaber.
Ryn instantly followed suit with Lon and ignited one end of his lightsaber, the knight instantly ran up to help Lon, but the "fight" was already over. Ryn stood there for a brief moment, making sure that there was no longer a threat, after about 5 seconds he turned his saber off and dropped from his Juyo stance.

How, thought Grawn as a coldness swept across the room, a unnatural cold that bit to the very bone. "You honestly didn't believe that i would be truly dead on this planet did you? Ibapo wasn't truly alive, but his spirit must of survived and been on Korriban for all these years. Before he could think further, he could feel a great disturbance nearby. Looking over to the end of the room, the Force seemed to swirl and contort, as if their was a whirlpool. Slowly, it extended and the shape of a cloaked man manifested.
The Shade of Ibapo smiled at his former apprentice. "I was wondering when you would return for knowledge." The specter then began to slowly walk towards Grawn, who was more confused then fearful. "You should've stayed down old man!", Grawn growled, his lightsaber flying to his hand and igniting as he went into a Shien stance. The Shade only laughed. "I wish you no harm, fool. I'm merely a ghost that is denied the peace of true death."
Still not lowering his lightsaber, Grawn's eyebrow rose in cursioty. "What is your purpose then?", he asked slowly, his eyes staying on Ibapo. The Shade shrugged, "You and your friend came seeking knowledge. Knowledge of power and of the dark side. In this place that i lived since my leaving of the Jedi Order, i know everything." The Shade smirked slightly, "Cant you feel it? The scale is starting to go unbalanced. The wind of change is rustling and the followers of the Dark path must be prepared. A great conflict is in store for the galaxy and the Jedi, nor the Dark Jedi will remain unscathed."
Ibapo stood before Grawn and Daren intimidatingly, but Grawn was unphased. He left his fear of the old man with his dead body. "I recall you kept several holocrons here, old man. Along with several books to the advanced techniques of the Dark side. I want access to them.", he stated bluntly, deactivating his lightsaber and crossing his arms across his chest. The Shade nodded and turned to the door that once was his personal room. "In my room is several things you will find of great importance. My own holocron, made shortly before our duel, is there along with a few things i found on Korriban in the old Sith Lord tombs. They are yours." he said the last part with a smirk.
Grawn sensed something amiss. "Whats the catch.", he growled. The Shade let loose a horrid, ghostly laugh and smiled wickedly at Grawn. "You will have to get past a few guardians i left in my room. Advanced training droids that i myself sparred with as you studied. If you can defeat the pair, all my treasures are for your use. But be warned, Grawn, they arent to be underestimated." As the Shade finished, its form began to disappear and before Grawn could question it further, it was gone.
Looking to Daren, Grawn shrugged. "It was never easy with him." Then he looked to the room door.

Jeh'rad senced the the trouble up ahead and just like Ryn, he arrived to see the end of the ghost. He narrows his eyes. "Crap... " He looked around quickly, as his heart started beating faster and faster, and the paranoia was creeping up on him. What WAS this place?! What was going on here? He could not allow the ancient dead to play tricks with their minds... neither could he let them continue to exist. They would prove dangerous for people who would travel here in the future. He reached out with his sences calling Master Vreem and Master Jace: "Vreem! Jace" Get over here, we'r in trouble!" Eventhough this was one of the larget problems Jeh'rad had been faces with in a long time, he looked calm and in control. "I think this is something we masters should take care of... I'm not sure the others will agree, but you should both get ready to get that armor back on... For now, let's just walk over here, and stick together. I'll rather cut your legs of than seeing you run off into the tomb's depths... untill we know weather the ghosts are actually a threat, then stay defencive... " Jeh'rad walked away a little, awaiting the two masters arival, or responce. Maybe they were in trouble aswell... He reached out. It didn't seem so. He got his belt comm and hooked an some of his gear up, then he spoke: "Commander, if I don't make it out, make sure to feed the cat... " Jeh'rad showed forth an annoyed grimace. "Yes sir... Persmission to ask a question sir? " "Permission denied. Return to your duties commander..." Jeh'rads voice was very firm. "... Yes sir. Black one out"
Jeh'rad looked up. He couldn't risk transmittingt he pictures all the way to the republic. Not from here. If he didn't make it out, atleast he had the files backed up on the ship, and the commander also had the files. Jeh'rad put away his gear, and holstered his blaster, and packed away his helmet. He then dropped the backpack, and closed his eyes, preparing for whatever... "Lon, tell me what happened... " Jeh'rad opened his eyes, staring at Lon.
((Status update: Lon, Ryn and Jeh'rad - Somewhere in tomb. Briefing. Jace, Vreem - somewhere in tomb. Probably studying something?
Grawn, Daren- Somewhere on korriban. Killing merc's.

(OOC: Me and Vreem are with you and the rest of the Jedi, Jeh'rad;))
Jace had been feeling a strange feeling and wasn't completely surprised when lon yelled out and ignited his lightsaber. Jace had his lightsaber in hand but it was not ignited, and he walked towards where Ryn, Jeh'rad, and Lon were.
"Calm my friends, I highly doubt that these ghosts can hurt us, well at least not in the physical aspect. From my knowledge and reading of accounts, their real danger lies in their ability to turn those to the dark side. Many Jedi have come here alone, and were easily seduced by these ghosts who promised then obscene amounts of power. Remember, this is why we must be together at all times, should one of us be separated the outcome could be quite scary. On the other hand, these ghosts are good news, we may be able to learn more than expected. Now let us move on, myself and Jeh'rad will lead...sorry Lon but this is for your own safety. Ryn and Lon will follow and Master Vreem will hold the rear for that is where we are most vulnerable."
He nods his head to Jeh'rad and begins walking forward deeper into depth, that was known as a tomb.

Daren observed the ghost fascinated. A former dark Jedi that powerful amazing. Daren watched in silence. Then looked to Grawn, “These guardians…only two…that means one for each of us. Are you ready?” Daren said recovered from his early battle. He closed his eyes feeling out with the force to find the source of the dark energy of the place. He felt it behind the room the ghost had pointed too. He smirked unsurprised and waited for Grawn.

Without replying, Grawn used the Force and with a grunt, ripped the door from its hinges. The metal's screech pierced the silence and as the door fell to the ground, all that was left was quiet. Narrowing his eyes at the door, feeling the extreme cold pouring from it.
"Proceed with caution.", he whispered to Daren, glancing back at him. Then he turned his attention to the door, as if waiting for something to happen. He slowly walked towards the door entrance, only seeing darkness through the door opening. A slight chill hit his flesh but he shrugged it off. Power was in that room, power that would make his mission a step closer to complete, he would let ANYTHING stand in the way of that. If the galaxy was to be thrown into chaos, he would be there to straighten it out.
As he came to the opening, he looked into darkness. Through the Force, he felt nothing but void space within the room, if they were droid sentinenls in here, it would make sense. Stepping forward into the darkness, feeling nothing, espcially not fear, he refused to feel fear right now.
Suddenly, glowing orbs of red pierced the darkness and the sounds of hydralics pierced the silence and Grawn ignited his blade. The red glow of his saber broke the darkness to show a droid step towards him. It was shaped as a humanoid, but with one minor adjustment.
It had an extra set of arms. The ends of them not having hands, but the hilts of lightsabers.
Its red glowing eyes stared at Grawn unfeelingly as a electronic voice spoke from it. "Identifying Target...Identity not found. Taking action K12, eliminate unknown." As it finished this, each arm's lightsaber socket ignited, two of them green, the other blue. Grawn stepped back as suddenly to the left of the other droid, its partner emerged and ignited its lightsabers.
"This will prove interesting.", Grawn muttered, his second lightsaber springing to his hand and ignited and going into a Shein stance. "Hope your ready Daren!", he called back, waiting for the metal monstroicities to attack.
( OOC: They arent to be dispatched easily, keep that in mind. Think General Grievous x2 )

Daren stayed silent during the approach of the room feeling out with the force into the void. When the machines activated he actually smiled. Daren loved fighting with lightsabers and he rarely found a good opponent. Well…this one might kill him but it’ll be a good fight. Daren activated his blade creating a red glow around the whole room. Then the blue/green lighted robots attacked. One went to Grawn the other to Daren, “I hope you have trained well.” Daren addressed the robot, Grawn stayed silent but apparently Daren’s had a better sense of humor. [glow=red,2,300]“I have the fighting techniques of every Dark Lord and Grand Master of the Jedi for the past three thousand years and many more[/glow]” Daren laughed and their blades met. The robot’s body shifted around quickly Daren in the dark had closed his eyes. Feeling the robot’s moves with his mind. The saber-bot kept attacking in normal styles with it’s four blades for at least three minutes. Then it actually laughed…the saber-bot laughed. Daren opened his eyes revealing their dark orange color. The saber-bot’s body moved around and the blades became four circulating blades. Daren started moving back still smiling, “You’re good.” The saber-bot didn’t respond it just switched tactics again and used a combinations of unorthodox techniques and normal saber styles. Quickly switching from whirling blades to quick strokes. Their blades met unleashing sparks everywhere. Daren screamed unleashing force lightning but the droid was prepared and blocked to storm and threw it back to Daren. Daren stopped the lightning and jumped rolling over on the ground and sliced at the bottom of the droid. The slice went deep but the saber-bot was unfazed by it. Daren stood back to his feet and entered an aggressive stance. The Saber-bot entered several stances and they prepared for round two.

(( Forgive me for not wanting to edit my post. It has happened so many times in this thread, that it wouldn't really make sence to do so )) Jeh'rad just shakes his head. "I senced the ghost before it appeared... But It's almsot impossible to tell where it will strike. I advice you to wear your armors, as they offer some lightsaber resistance... Because, no matter how sure Jace is about the ghosts being harmless, it's a fact, the Lon parried several blows, before... Well, whatever happened. That means that the lightsabers are somewhat material, and indestructible by lightsabers. Also, they make the exact same noise as a lightsaber does... Further more, I doubt that this was a ghost neither do i tihnk we can get out of here...I think we have walked into a place of great Dark side presence. Untill we have solved the mystery that dwells in here, we will not be able to leave.. The texts in the Jedi archives, says that the tasks that lie ahead of us, usually have something to do with ourselves. Consider this a very dangerous vision. " Jeh'rad doesn't seem very happy with Jace's statement. He might have thought it best to calm the others, and if this was the case, Lon and Ryn were full fledged jedi knights, not younglings. They shouldn't be kept in the dark. However, if Jace truely believed what he just said, that the ghosts were harmless physically, then Jeh'rad wouldn't know what to do with him... Expecting, without proof, that a.. Thing.. With a lightsaber that seems VERY material, is harmless, before anyone has actually seen the lightsaber pass through him, WITHOUT leaving a wound, would be pure stupidity, because if he was wrong, which evidence currently suggested, and one of his comrades decided to test the theory and died from it, the blame would be on Jace and Jace alone. Jeh'rad remembere reading about Dark Side spirits. Noone who had encountered them had reported them as harmless. Jace might be a lot of things, but stupid he wasn't. Atleast, that wasn't Jeh'rads impression of the man, so he expected that Jace's statement was based upon Jeh'rads first theory. This didn't make thing much better though. Jeh'rad already thought Jace to be quite arrogant. If he thoguht himself, so much above jedi Knights, that he lied to them, to keep them calm, he was indeed the most arrogant Jeh'rad had ever met. (( force ghosts can usually not attack physically. There was a singe one on Korriban that held that ability, and Exar Kun would later also take actions that had physical consequnses while a ghost. But as it is, the ghosts on Korriban have been defeated, so the only thing we could be facing is a very strong dark side presence that, just like the cave on Degobah, and the cave on korrbian where the Jedi Exile fights what appears to be her comrades and revan. It's not really possible to say what would have happened if Luke was hit by Darth Sidious apprentice's lightsaber in the cave, but I remembe from the game, that defeating Revan, Traya, and the others was quite a challenge! I should have played on easy... Actually, the thing that would make most sence would be if, as we continue we are seperated without knowing. Meaning the force makes us beleive that we remain in a group, while in reality, we are walking alone and will face our visions. ))

Post by Vreem Took on Nov 13, 2008 20:09:48 GMT -5
When the group entered the cave, Vreem was quick to follow. Once they were in the enclosed area, he believed it was safe to deactivate the stealth field generator, although he kept his mind and Force presence well hidden, even with the dark aura of the tombs he didn’t want to be unnecessarily discovered. He couldn’t be certain that his past would catch up with him here.
As the group moved on determinedly, Vreem was left to catch up. As he moved through the ruined and dimly lit corridor of the tomb, he found himself unable to prevent the dark presence prod at his person, even after hundreds and thousands of years these tombs would most likely ooze out darkness like the sickest of wounds. It was an odd feeling, most Jedi had not been affected by such a strong presence in the darkside, but after his experience with this planet, the feeling was one he remembered well. The power which could be attained by drawing on the darkness all around him would allow Vreem the chance to do so much. Yet even now he felt no need or urge to do so, that time had passed.
He had caught up with the others a little only to suddenly witness the ignition of a lightsaber blade, as he hurried towards everyone he only managed to catch a small glimpse of the ‘ghost’ as it disappeared. Both Jace and Jeh’rad were able to speculate as to what it was and jeh’rad came dangerously close to the truth, but Vreem had been told about these things, warned in fact, in case he was ever to attempt to enter the tombs during his captivity on the desolate rock. “As a form of protection,” he began solemnly, as if the knowledge which came from his lips had a foul taste to them, “these tombs often had what you might call a defence mechanism. It’s a form of manipulation through the Force which affects all the senses, making it almost impossible to distinguish between what is real and what is merely an apparition. We are able to feel the bite of blades that don’t exist, see the embodiment of people who are no longer alive, hear the voice of those closest to you. Your natural battle instincts will merely hinder you here.”
Pausing for a little while he slipped the backpack off and slipped his rifle into it, it was practically bursting now. “These tricks of the mind are not easy to overcome,” he said continuing from a few moments earlier, “you must rely upon the Force and the light in order to try and push these things from your mind, however in such a… contaminated place it is difficult to fully draw upon the light, instead it may be worth confronting these visions as that is said to be the only other way to rid yourself of them. Often this can lead to a moment of self-discovery, because this mind trick burrows deep into our minds and draws out things we never wanted to confront, we each have some things we’d prefer not to confront. The choice is your own, but I doubt we will make much progress until we have each passed this obstacle.”
While he slipped back into his silent comatose-like state a number of thoughts rapidly swept through his mind. He found it odd that something he had been taught by that man was actually helpful at all. But then again, this situation was one he didn’t expected to be in, not as a Jedi. Vreem walked alongside his comrades unarmed, but his saber was only a force tug away.

(OOC: I know that these force ghosts cannot affect us physically so to speak, hence the reason for what I said in my post Jeh'rad.)
Jace smiled lightly as he looked at Jeh'rad,he could see from the look the elder jedi had, that he didn't think too highly of Jace.
"Jeh'rad my friend, please do not take my reassurance for arrogance. Ryn and Lon are Jedi knights, there would be no point in telling them everything would be alright. They can easily sense such a transparent lie. I merely am stating what I read and have heard from others, I said the key here is in the force. As I stated earlier and Master Vreem and yourself have just stated, the danger comes not from the physical side but from that of the mind, not the lightsaber. Not to mention, had these ghosts been able to harm us with their lightsabers, we would have been dead long ago."
Jace was somewhat disappointed that Jeh'rad had such a low opinion him. What Jeh'rad didn't understand was that Jace knew the consequences of failure better than anyone else here. He knew what danger he had lead his fellow jedi in, and he knew that if he didn't keep a calm and cool head, that atleast one jedi would not return to the temple . Well As they continued on forward, Jace thought he might as well ask the question that was on his mind.
"Master Vreem, from what you have warned, I sense that you have had personal experience with Korriban. I shall not pry into your past, but I will be depending on yours and Master Jeh'rad's experience here."
Jace continued to push forward deeper into the tomb, his mind clear and focused, ready for anything.

Jeh'rads features mildens up a bit. He offers Jace a vague smile. "Jace, the ghosts can hurt us. They may not want to. We agree on this, yes?" He looks around. "Don't play a hero, alright? Just defend... Untill we know how to solve this. I think we should head back to see if we can even get out.. However, I think I agree with Vreem. In order to recive what we are here to get, we must pass the guardian, that is this field of Dark Side energy. Be vigilant, it will most likely try to fool us into killing eachother. Don't trust your sences, trust only in the force. Should you find yourself taking friendly fire, then defend. Don't try to kill the lot of us. A perfect chance to test your disarming techniques. " Jeh'rad heads to the back of the flock. " I don't have any first hand experience with this, so you and Vreem should be leading. I'll guard the rear. " Jeh'rad started working with his comm again, and didn't pay much attention physically, but instead hoped that his mind would alert him when danger arose. This could go really really bad. It could also go really really well. The visions had already started. Lon had defeated a Dark Jedi... But who was that dark Jedi? was it Lon himself? Was it Grawn? Maybe some other guy who'd come around and kick some Jedi ass in the near future.. Disturbing indeed. Jeh'rad mostly hoped that neither Vreem or Jace would be turning on him. The two of them together would be very dangerous. If such a situation arose, he actually almost had to kill his enemies in order to defeat them. However, he knew that Ryn was a fierce opponant, and Lon had also just prooven his mastery with the saber... Most of all, Jeh'rad had to watch out that he didn't turn on them. His insight of the dark side, and his knowledge of the destrcutive powers of the force would be powered by the planet itself. He wouldn't be surprised if he could take down a shuttle using a strike of lightning, while here on the planet. He really hoped that he was wrong about that, though, because his destructive powers would be considered weak by those who practice it, and if they were here... Jeh'rad let out a dissatisfied grunt.
Suddenly, Jeh'rad looked around, to find himself standing alone, in what seemed to be darkness. Pure and absolute darkness.
"General! General!" A republic soldier dressed much like the commandoes waiting outside, only he was wearing a further modified and heavy version of that armor came running towards Jeh'rad. "General, they are enemies are proceeding, we lost the native's second squad... And... We lost Comm... " The soldier allows himself to mourn the death of his comrade by lowering his head.
Jeh'rad lookrf like he had seen a ghost. "Damn, Boomer? Is that you? What's going on?!" Boomer... A very common nickname amongst soldiers for people who loves the boom that their handywork produces when used propperly.
"By the force! Did you take a torpedo in the head again general? We'r fighting the sith empire! They have an outpost on this planet! Comeone, we need your lightsaber out on the front, we'r falling back, and we can't affort that! " Boomer seems genuinely upset, yet his voice sounds like an echo.
Jeh'rad's left eye twitches. Even though, deep inside, he knew what was going on, he just wasn't ready to face it... Again.
"General! Don't do this! Not now! Please! Sir!... Jeh'rad! " Boomer was calling for Jeh'rad as he stood there, paralysed. "Alright, alright, I'll follow you! " Jeh'rad quickly followed Boomer, who didn't waste time responding. Even though, completely surrounded by darkness, a small scene formed itself out of thin air. He saw a Sith officer and 50 elite sith commandoes against 10 republic soldiers, 4 republic commandoes, and 3 native warriors.
"Drive them to their deaths! These republic scum will not drive us out! Kill them! " The officer yelled his message like a madman.
"Look, it's the Jedi!" One of the republic soldiers points at Jeh'rad and all the republic soldiers yells in triumph.
Jeh'rad overlooked this unrealistic and unreal battlefield as thoughts and memories raced throguh his mind.

(OOC: Okay, my idea will leave it so that we don’t all end up separated, instead of us each following these apparitions I propose that are characters are all simply knocked unconscious by this Force trap and all these personal events are going on within their mind. Thus when they overcome this trick of the mind, they return to consciousness. Otherwise we’ll be wasting time later on having them find one another. I’m simply going to use a brief ‘gust of wind’ to symbolise the change from reality to sub-consciousness.)
To Jace’s words Vreem responded with a soft and simple nod. He didn’t want to reply with words because they would merely be explaining his past and right now, in a tomb on Korriban, it was not the right time to reveal his past to anyone. Perhaps when they were safe and if anyone actually wanted to know then he would tell them. But for now, he just had to pull those fractionally minute pieces of useful information from his haunting memories so that he would be able to dispense advice that kept them safe.
He switched positions with Jeh’rad, moving to the front of the group as the older Master slipped to the rear of their formation. They appeared to be walking normally, but each of the five Jedi were able to draw their lightsaber in the blink of an eye, they had been trained to do so. At the head of the five, Vreem kept his eyes peeled but more importantly, his mind was actively searching for anything out of the ordinary, any possible threat. Within his mind it was as if the Force had taken the form of a large white opaque hand which lingered in front of them, almost as wide and tall as the dark corridor. It wove around, in between, over and under everything in their path and at the slightest hint of danger he knew it would recoil instantly, and that would be his signal.
Even as he was remaining a vigilant lookout on their pathway, Vreem couldn’t help but be distracted by the symbols upon the walls. They were faint, the air and dust most likely had free reign over the ancient markings for hundreds of years, blunting the sharp carvings until some would not even be readable to those who knew their meaning. As was the case for Vreem, his lessons on this rock had not only involved the dark ways in which the force worked or could be manipulated, there had been some lessons on the history of some of the Dark Lords of old as well, although he doubted what he had been told was entirely true. He had more specifically been taught about these tombs although not enough for him to pass as a tourist guide to his fellow Jedi. But he had learnt a little of the tomb’s traps and scriptures, as well as some of the creatures who now inhibited it. They were twisted forms of their normal selves, the Dark Side would ravage their senses, making them bloodthirsty and forcing them to abandon any form of reason. They were violations of nature; calling them animals would be fallacious.
However, after they had moved on a little more, he recognised one of the symbols and with a brief undistinguishable sound; he hurried over to examine it. As he knelt down to read it a gust of wind swept through his hair and across his face, although his mind was focused on the walls and the symbols.
After a few minutes of incessant rambling and dotting between indistinguishable symbols his eyes widened in excitement, knowledge and memory had prevailed once again. But when he turned around to inform his comrades about his discovery, he discovered that he was all alone. Looking around he saw no trace of anyone. Getting up he slowly moved towards the centre of the corridor and looked down at the ground. There were footprints although they were only pressed into a faint layer of sand so it was difficult to tell. Nonetheless, they continued on down the corridor, Vreem surmised that he must have gotten too involved with the engravings and hadn’t notice them carry on expecting him to catch up. Then suddenly, he caught a faint sound on the wind, it sounded almost like…
Without second thought, he dashed off down the corridor. There was light shining in the distance, from a well-lit chamber as well as the occasional spark of clashing blades.
(OOC: Alright for the next bit my mind is telling me to write something that will more than likely not be suitable for PG-13, I’m talking along the lines of bloody descriptions and the like. So first of all I’d like to ask anyone if they have a problem with me doing so, if that’s the case then I guess I’ll have to try and tone it down a bit first. This is my first instalment of the mental dilemma, I’ll post after some of you guys have replied and given your verdict on my next post.)

As the other droid went for Daren, the remaining lunged at Grawn, spinning its torso around causing a sort of lightsaber circle around it. Grawn dodged to the right, then parried a swing as it stopped its rotation and went for him directly. He ducked under a swing while using his two sabers to parry off two more swings, only to narrowly be cut in two by another swing. It was hard to keep track of the damn lightsabers,
He jumped backwards to avoid another swing by the droid and went into a Shien stance, his mind racing to figure a way to destroy the lightsaber wielding bot. The Force seemed like a good choice, it being metal it couldnt stop the unseen power like an actual humanoid. As the droid advanced, Grawn concentrated on its torso, the bot slowly lifting in the air.
Suddenly, a compartment opened in the droids chest and a dart shot from it. The Dark Jedi couldnt do anything to stop it as it struck him in the arm and immediately an electrical jolt shook his body, causing him to lose his hold. The droid dropped back to the ground and Grawn roared in pain, tearing the dart from his flesh.
"Damn!", Grawn growled, still feeling the pain from the bolt. It was unknown how many of those darts the droid could fire, so using the Force to pick him up wouldnt work. Lightning? No, Grawn had saw Daren fire a storm, only to have the droid deflect it with its lightsabers.
His mind racing, Grawn barely snapped to attention as the droid met him, recovering from the attempted Force assault and swung all four of its sabers at once in a overhead smash. Growling in anger, Grawn swung his double sabers to deflect all four at once with his rage flaring. The droid was surprised by this apparently, not immediately getting back into position and it gave him the chance to swing his sabers into its torso side. The droid was infused with kortosis, making it resistant to lightsabers but the strikes wore away the weaving, causing deep scorch marks.
Seeing his Grawn jumped back in time to avoid the droid from grabbing ahold of him and recomposed himself. This droid annoyed him greatly. "How you holding up Daren!", he yelled, not taking his eyes off the droid that now came towards him.

(( Comeon Vreem, we'r on the INTERNET xD You can't shake us! Anywaysm yeah I'll modify my post so that they fit together. The reason I wrote it the way I did, is because I wasn't sure everyone was gonna join in on the idea. But anyways A small note: Usually a force vision like these is actually a rift between the physical world and the mental world. So eventually, wecan just agree that once we'r all done, all the characters suddenly find themselves standing in the actual burrial chamber. Ofcourse, I doubt we'r all gonna have our characters waste time evaluatuating what just happened, so in truth, we could just make a post, starting our vision, then move on with thestory and when we have time, we could update our vision by editing. Sorry Ryn, this one is gonna be tough for you xD ))

“Great!” Daren said with a little sarcasm but he was enjoying himself. He raised his lightsaber and jumped towards the saber-bot. their blades clashed again and Daren turned his attention to Grawn for a moment, “We need a new plan!” Daren said before pushing the droid back with the force. It moved only a couple inches before pushing itself into the ground. Daren did a backflip over the droid slicing it’s head. The Droid’s body spun around uncontrollably and the head shot out electricity in mad flashes. Then the body refocused itself and attacked at full speed. Daren screamed out and attacked the droid head on. Going on the offensive he noticed the droid was weaker. Their blades sent sparks flying around the room like crazy. The different colored blades made a beautiful light display around. Daren kicked the droid’s chest jumped to a wall. As his feet contacted it he jumped towards the saber-bot cutting through it’s chest. As Daren found himself stuck in the body of the droid. He struggled for a couple seconds as he saw the sabers come towards him. He closed his eyes and focused pushing out. The Droid’s body started to buckle and groan. The droid’s sensors went crazy and it stabbed into it’s body. Daren’s face was cut and he screamed out but kept pushing. The Droid screamed out and started spinning insanely causing Daren to get thrown out as it exploded. Daren broke the wall as he hit it entering another chamber. He groaned and struggled to move.

Finally, his patience at a end, Grawn went calm. For those who knew the Dark Jedi, him being calm was a omen of death. His face emotionless, letting the darkside flow through him effortlessly, he parried a strike from the droid and at the same time, his lightsaber cutting through the droids emitter hand. With only three lightsabers left, the droid backed away to reassess the situation but Grawn wouldn't let it.
Calling upon the Force, he sent a massive wave of energy at the droid. His face showing nothing, he watched as it flung the bot across the room, destroying a table and book shelve in the crash. Grawn began to advance forward, his two lightsabers humming and illuminating the area around him as he walked. The Dark Side was flowing through him, his body merely a conduit for the planets power. As he approached the droid that rose from the wreckage, he began to wonder how he had feared it before. It was a thing made of metal and circuitry, wielding lightsabers. The droid was NOTHING compared to him.
Grinning slightly as the droid struck at him as he came, he blocked swing with one lightsaber, his arm infused with dark power that increased his strength tenfold. The bot attempted to lash out with its other two lightsabers, but Grawn caught them both on his other saber, the lightsabers all together causing a shower of sparks over both fighters. Staring at the droids emotionless glowing eyes, Grawn grunted and threw all his strength into his arms, pinning the droids arms into the wall.
The bot struggled to loosen his pin but to no avail, Grawn stared straight into the droids face plate. Mentally, he was searching for its main processor, without it, the droid would no longer function. Finally, he had found it and he concentrated on the chip, enclosing it in the Force. Then with little emotion, he crushed it.
The droids eyes dulled suddenly and its lightsabers deactivated, the entire thing falling to the ground in a thud that echoed throughout the chamber. Deactivating his own blades and clipping them to his side, Grawn took a deep breath. "We have defeated your guardians, old man. Your treasure is mine.", he stated, his yellow eyes looking around the room. When no reply came, Grawn shrugged and motioned for Daren to stay put as he entered Ibapos room.
It was a basic room, containing a bed with a nightstand. Across from the bed, was a desk however and what Grawn saw on the desk rose a eyebrow on his face. On the desk laid a mask of odd design, its surface black with what appeared to be small runes dotting certain areas of it. Approaching the desk, Grawn picked it up and traced the runes on it with his gloved finger. "What the hell is this?", he asked suddenly, feeling a cold presence in the room. A ghostly laugh followed the question. "I never did show you that did i? I discovered it in one of the tombs before you came here as an apprentice. I believe it to a mask of Sith origins, and when i wore it i could feel the dark side at its fullest with no distraction."
Raising his eyebrow, Grawn slowly turn the mask around and lifted it to his face. It appeared to have no eye holes. "How would one see in it?", he questioned, waiting for a reply from the Shades voice.
"Put it on and find out!", came a irritable reply. Shrugging, Grawn placed it on his face and tied the strap to the back of his head. He opened his eyes to see that he no longer saw as one normally would, but as if he was looking through his minds eye with the Force. Interesting, he thought, looking around the room. As he glanced over a few holocrons on Ibapos desk, the items glowed with a dark red mist, which could only point to their alignment in the Force. As he went to pick up the holocrons, he began to notice that his mind wasn't cluttered with random thoughts, as if he was concentrating without ACTUALLY doing so.
"Ill be taking this mask and some holocrons old man. I'd ask if this was OK but seeing as how theirs little you can do to stop me, i wont.", Grawn said with a chuckle, taking a holocron and putting into his robes. When he got back to the Red Fury, he would study it further. "Always the smart one.", a irritable voice came, bringing a small grin to Grawns face. Before leaving, he put the hood of his cloak and grabbed a holocron and left the room, throwing the small pyramid to Daren without a word. The Dark Jedi caught it easily enough and looked at him with a questioning look.
"That item will give you all the knowledge you'll require at this point. We're leaving.", Grawn said before Daren could ask any questions. The mask felt weird and it was odd to breath but that was something that would pass with time.
"Grawn.", came a voice suddenly, just as the two Dark Jedi were about to leave Ibapos hideout. Turning around, he saw the specter of his uncle. "What.", he asked, slightly annoyed. The specter floated for a moment before speaking, "Do something about the damn Jedi over in the Valley. The Sith spirits are in great unrest at the moment and putting an end to them would be the only thing to silence them."
Grawn shrugged and without another word, motioned for Daren to follow. The two didn't look back as they left the cave and came to where the speeder was hidden on the outside of the cave. A slight wind picked up as Grawn neared the bike, then turned to Daren. "Either we can finish our business with the Jedi or return to Dreshdae. I have a ship landed their so i can get off planet enough but the choice is yours." At this point, he cared little of what they did. He viewed Daren as a humanoid shape from the mask, a dark red aura coming from him as the holocron had. It was odd, but yet again, it was something he would have to get use to. Grawn awaited for a reply.
(OOC: Sorry about my late posts, WolK just came out and has been taking up a decent amount of my time. I'll try and be more vigilant.)
