Bishop was barely aware of what was going on around him. The flashes of Aura flying all over the place and flying around in such recless fashion disoriented him. Hi newly appointed master was in a fighter after several ships that appeared out of nowhere and he and Jax were left on the freighter. All Bishop could think to do is watch from the turret as the chaos continued.

The engines sputtered ominously. Rah cursed under his breath as he was forced to decrease the throttle. The remaining Aureks were closing in fast, lasers still blazing.
Another blow glanced off the Tear Runner's hull taking a large chunk of armor with it. Rah closed his eyes and took a deep breath. This may be the end, but I will not go down without a show. I WILL NOT GO DOWN WITHOUT TAKING THEM WITH ME!
Rah pulled his beloved ship about and sucked every last drop of fuel into the engines for a final charge. Rah placed his hand on the firing control. The thunder spear projectors began slowly rotating, a deep humming emanated from the capacitors.
Suddenly, the mysterious fighter on the sidelines bolted forward. Rah shieled his eyes from the blinding light as one of the Aurek's burst into flame not 50 meters before him. The Tear Runner shuddered, the fuel gauge read empty. Tssslk, shunt power from the weapon capacitor to the repulsor lift generator. Keep this wreck in the air!
Rah watched as the final Aurek positioned itself on his savior's tail. Rah felt envy as he saw it dive suddenly towards the surface, the Aurek in pursuit. Wasss he hit? Issss he going to crashhhhh? Tssslk had lept onto the dash and was observing with obvious delight. Rah gazed down with his reptillian friend and chuckled. No, he's fine. Notice the position of the stablizers and the precise angle of his descent. It's a ruse, you'll see.
Sure enough, the strange fighter pulled out of the dive not a meter from the ground. The Aurek, which had pulled out much earlier, was left with its underside completely exposed. A mistake quickly utilized by the strange fighter as it carved through it with a final laser burst.
As the Tear Runner hovered in place, Rah was startled to hear a voice in his head. It told him that his ship would be towed to Mos Eisley where the two would talk. Rah watched the fighter dock with the Dynamic class freighter. As the black and red craft approached, Rah contemplated what had just happened.
Obviously, whoever had touched his mind just then was a force user, and most likely, by the prowess he just showed in combat, a power one at that. A dull thud echoed through the cockpit as a tow cable struck the Tear Runner. As his ship jolted along after the Force user's ship, Rah read the words "Shade Slayer" on the hull.

Jerek smirked as he began his trip to Mos Eisley. It took them half haour to gget back and succcesfully land the ships. Once they had landed, Jerek pulled his cloak's hood up ove rhis face and walked out the door, his apprentices flanking him. He amde his way to the man's ship and waited for him to exit as well. Jerek was ready if he tried to attack.

After a tricky time landing at Mos Eisley Rah peered out his cockpit. Three figures approached, one wearing a hood that covered his face completely. Keep alert Tssslk, I don't like the look of this guy.
Rah fingered the hilt of his vibroblade and opened his cockpit. Tsssilk flew out after him and perched on his shoulder and glared unblinking at the hooded man.
I thank you for your valient efforts and for saving my life. However, I must inform you that any hostile action by you at this time will be met with brutal retaliation.

Jerek smirked. "Of course they will. But, let us get a drink and discuss what has just happened." Jerek turned and walked the streets, beckoning the hostile man to follow. He amde it to the nearest Cantina and walked inside, finding an empty table.

Rah was hesitant to follow the ominous figure but did so if only out of curiosity. He was lead to a murky cantina and sat down across from the man, making sure to prop his large taloned foot onto the table top. The hooded man's entorauge seated next to him and fixed Rah with curious, yellow-eyed, gazes. Tssslk gazed back at them with yellow eyes of his own.
So before anything is said or done, I would wish to know the name of that who has assisted me so greatly Rah spoke this with his usual drawl but kept his hand on his hilt just in case.

Jerek saw the hilt of a vibroblade. With another smirk, he spoke. "I am Jerek Kahn, Dark Jedi Knight." He looked at the taloned foot. A sure sign of battle... "Why were those Republic dogs chasing you?"

Rah followed Jerek's gaze to his hand and released the hilt of his blade. So much for that idea. Rah's eye met Tssslk's who nodded slightly. If things got ugly, they would have to be ready. But in the meantime, he ought to play along and humor Jerek.
Heheh, for the same reason everyone is chasing me. I'm Rah Boralis, does that answer your question?

Jerek thought to himself. Rah Boralis? He was a Pirate then! "They were chasing you because you are a Pirate. Jerek thought to himself a moment later. Yes, a Pirate could be useful to him. "Well, Rah Boralis, you could be useful to me in the long run..."

Jerek shifted in his seat and asked Rah a question. A brief flash of silver shone beneath his cloak. So he's a Jedi then, a dark one most likely by his appearance He thought to himself.
Perhaps this man could be useful to him as well... Rah chuckled. Useful to you ya say? Well it just so happens I'm a privateer on open contract. What can I assist you with?

Jerek thought. This planet had served as a good hideout. But, if he coudl find a better environment to train Bishop and Jax in then, why not take it? "You have a fighter. so, why not escort me to another planet to train my two apprentices here." He waved a hand casually to both of his apprentices. Then, he sensed it. This man had suddenly thought up something about Jerek...

Rah began to answer Jerek's request but tensed up as Jerek paused. He let out his breath when Jerek eased back to his relaxed position. So these were his apprentices. Then his identity is confirmed.
I could do that, though the price for hiring someone like me isn't cheap. In fact I seriously doubt you could afford it... Rah knew he was taking an awful risk, but if this worked out, this job could be more invaluable than he origanally thought.
However, perhaps you could repay me with your own assistance in a not so delicate matter. You see, there's a little operation on Muunilist that requires my...unique attention. And with your abilities, you would be invaluable.

Jerek smirked. "Very well, I shall help in exchange for your assistance." Jerek knew the man had seen his lightsaber's hilt. "When do you wish to launch, Boralis?" Jerek looked down, seeing the curvedhilt lightsaber on his black belt. Then, he looked up at Jax's. Another thought struck him. Perhaps he could give Jax the lightsaber and make ihm cast his aside.

Rah smirked right back at Jerek. With this man on his side, there was no way he could fail. Tssslk leaned in close to his ear, I ssstill don't trussst thisss perssson, but he would cccertainly be a powerful assssset to our efforts. Rah agreed with this statement but said nothing.
Good, I'll brief you in transit to your destination. My ship can be ready in three hours, how much of a hurry are ya in?

"no hurry at all, actually. While you get your ship ready, I will go to mine and get some training in for my Apprentices. But, first, what does this 'mission' consist of, exactly?" Jerek kept his hood up and his yellow eyes on the Pirate.

Rah contemplated a moment. If Jerek was to help him, he may as well know the details. Very well. Five years ago, I ordered construction of a unique terror ship in the shipyards of Muunilist. Naturally, no pirate, however notorious, has the funds to make such a purchase so I made the contract under a rich local business man. Though they bought this identity and began construction on this craft, I will be unable to claim it with the necessary funds. Therefore, we will need to use alterior methods to gain the Shock Hammer. In other words, we must commendere it without their knowledge unless that can't be avoided in which case things may have to resort to force. A subject I believe you are plenty experienced with.

"Very well, Rah Boralis. I will await your ship's refueling and repairs. Come see me when they are completed." with that Jerek got up, beckoned to shi apprentices and elft the Cantina. He amde it to his ship and clambered inside. He sat down at the holoboard a moment, searching out Muunilist. He thought for a while, then got up and began to pace about. He walked too close to a closet and the door shot open. Jerek glanced itno it to find a pair of Dark jedi robes.
"Hm?" He went inside and grabbed them. He looked over at Jax, than at the robes. They seemed about the size for him. He walked back into the previous room and threw them to Jax. "If you are going to be a Dar Jedi, then you should dress as one." He then took the curved-hilt lightsaber from his belt and threw it to jax as well. "Use that saber instead of your current one, My young Apprentice." Jerek smirked at the two.
"This 'mission' will prove your skills to me..."

Rah's eyes narrowed as he examined the fuel and repair bill given to him by the landing officer. In large print at the bottom of scrap of paper, a sum larger than most citizens of Mos Eisley could to glared angrily right back at him.
Do you really believe I have the money to pay for this? Rah's voice was smooth but below he was tensed up ready for action.
"Well, yes. This guzzler isn't exactly cheap to fill, especially when you've sucked every last drop from the tanks. Also repairs weren't easy seeing as no one has even seen a piece a garbage like this ship before. Where'd you get it? Buried under the "mountains" of Raxus Prime-" The man's eyes widened as Rah withdrew his vibroblade from his gut.
So sorry my dear man, but I'm somewhat in a hurry.
Rah sheathed his blade and turned to his beloved Tear Runner for pre-flight proceedures. T
That Jedi may be just what I need to pull this stunt off, Tssslk, lets make sure our effort isn't wasted.

Jerek sat quietly in the cockpit of the Shade Slayer. He stood with his eyes closed in front of the single star map. He had already foudn Muunilsit and estimated the time it would take to get there. Slowly, a faint red aura flicked into existence in the strained sensory field Jerek had around his ship. He opened his eyes, drawing his cloak around himself, making sure his lightsaber was secure. He then made hsi way to the exit ramp door. Are you ready for takeoff? Jerek's spiked hair blew slightly in the wind coming over Mos Eisley.

The Tear Runner hovered to a stop over the Shade Slayer. Inside, Rah picked up his comlink.
Sorry if I seem rather abrupt, but we have to go, now. I mistakenly caused a bit of comotion back on the landing pad and I wouldn't imagine that being part of a burning wreckage would be beneficial to this venture.
A group of armed thugs followed by a landspeeder with a small repeating blaster turret advanced into the starport. A small retractable missile rack popped out from one of the large turbines on the Tear Runner. The concussion missile flared up and darted forward passing barely 2 feet from the shade slayer and striking the speeder squarely. Rah couldn't help but chuckle as he watched the thugs flip through the air like ragdolls as the blast ended their pathetic lives.
Hurry and get that crate off the ground, there will be more.
