Rayner narrowed his eyes and surveyed the situation. Melelaika had since fallen to the ground, out cold. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Araena standing up to her full height. She looked pissed off, obviously not at all happy that she'd lost both of her weapons.
In the distance, Rayner could hear sirens, which meant that they, as Republic officials, had technically won.
"It's over, kid." Rayner said. " If you touch either of them, you're dead. If you somehow take us all out, well, the police will either kill you or put you away for a long time. Either way, you've lost. " Rayner looked into her eyes, and a smirk slowly started to crawl across his face.
"Just put your gun down. I have no doubt that Melelaika started it, so I won't shoot you if you give up now."
Araena had taken extra care to keep her arms hidden behind the table, keeping Rayner from noticing the empty glass bottle in her hand. Whilst hiding behind the table and waiting for an opportunity to retrieve her weapons, Araena's thoughts had drifted back to how she could ditch her team and meet her Mandalorian contact. Despite this rather pain-in-the-ass level annoyance, she did not intend to hold off on turning coat tails. So with that being the case, perhaps this little bar brawl was the opportunity she was looking for. In fact, her opponent had been gracious enough to incapacitate most of her squad!
And so, Araena had decided that now was the time to make her escape. The only remaining obstacle being Rayner. As he and the Epicanthix had a stand-off Araena had crawled back a bit and retrieved a bottle, then crawled back to her space behind the table and stood up.
"Just put your gun down. I have no doubt that Melelaika probably started it, so I won't shoot you if you give up now."
Araena chose that time to strike, and with as much force she could muster, hurled the bottle at her comrade. Rayner stood no chance. Faster then he could react, the bottle smashed into his forehead, shattering. With a grunt Rayner fell forward, his gun clapping on the floor next to him; he was out cold.
"Alright then, Jedi." Araena said, walking out from behind the table. "What you just saw right now... is none of your business, hmm. The only thing that should matter to you is that you have maybe 40 seconds or so before there's cops crawling up your ass, so you better make like the Supreme Chancellor's hair line and disappear, yeah? You ain't never seen me and I ain't never seen you, yeah?"
And with that that, Araena retrieved her guns from the spot on the ground and began to walk to toward the door.
