"Ok, people get these walkers moving, now." Colonel Barker was being his normal no nonsense self as he strode purposefully in the Dreasden Armor hangers. He stopped to tug on his helmet before making his way up the thin ladder of the AW-L Mercury truthfully he still felt sending a full walker Calvary company after two men jedi or not was foolhardy, but he wasn't one to question orders as he slid through the top hatch of the heavy AT walker. "Corporal you can head out now." he said down to the man below him as the AT walker some what ungainly came to it's feet before placing a hand against the side of his helmet and contacting the rest of the unit. "This is a sweep and destroy we're looking for two jedi I want a 20m spread while we search." he finished just as the walker slipped through the open door and onto the plains of Korriban.

"Look, what's it gonna take to convince you I'm a Dark Jedi, do you want me to assasinate someone or something, because your obviously not buying it." Jakob said as he began to get more and more frustrated at the man.

Jerek merely smirked. He had known from the beginning this man had the Dark Side. He had been playing him along. But, it seemed his game was at an end. He could hear the clanking of giant metallic feet growing louder. "Just strap in. we have to get off of this cliffside. Now!" Jerek pelted past the man, deactivating his lightsaber and clipping it back to his belt. He pulled the pilot droid into the copilot seat and strapped into the pilot's seat.
He pulled up on the throttle and blasted away from the cliff. Just as he was launching off the cliff, a turbolaser bolt came hurtling for them. He swerved to the left, barely avoiding it. He looked down to see some walkers coming out of the desert. They had spotted them alright. Using his senses to guide him, Jerek made a dive for the sand below. He pulled up a meter from the ground and flew straight, almost parallel with the ground.

"Fire!" the Colonel yelled to the comm unit just as the sound of his walker's 66mm magnetic accelerator's round ripped through the sound barrier followed by the rippling roar of almost another half dozen others doing the same. "Blast." Barker growled to himself. "Command their Running. All units fire at will." "Copy, Assailants are on the way and were contacting the fleet to ready interceptors, make all effort to shoot them down."

Jakob sat down in a seat behind the mans co-pilot droid. Looking out the window he saw a massive assimilation of walkers headed straight for them. Damn, what did you do to these guys to make 'em so pissed off at you? They zoomed by, just meters above the desert floor.

"No clue," Jerek said with a slight too much glee in his voice. He went into a barrel-roll, avoiding a few more shots from the walkers. "Get to the turret and try to blind them with some laser fire!" Jerek yelled at the man. He swerved again. Just about all the walkers were firing now.
Then, Jerek saw his opening. A light in the middled of this darkness. A small gap in the walker barricade. If he could get through it and flee deeper into the desert, he would be fine. "Droid, re-route backup pwoer to the delfector shields!" The droid nodded and got to work. The man was at the gunwell, doing as Jerek ahd instructed.
When the droid gave the affirmation of the re-route, Jerek swivled around and blasted toward the walkers. Some blasts hit the shileds but bounced off. Then, Jerek punched it. He went straight through the gap between two walkers' legs. He swerved up over another rock formation and looked over at the droid. "Try to get some extra power to the gnines, whil maintaining our shields' power. The droid got to work immediately

Jakob listened to the man, hopping into the turret, wildly blasting away at the walkers. He shot one in the leg, multiple times, causing it to fall to the ground with a thunderous kaboom. He shot the underside of one as Jerek swooped under one, narrowly escaping a firey death.

Rah held his breath as the light turbolaser on the sith frigate swiveled to life. Would it fire on him for trying to prevent the crash? No. The green flashes pounced upon the other small craft that had been caught in the tractor beam. Incredibly, it was able to come to life moments before impact and take only minimal damage...which was still quite substantial to send it careening back towards the planet.
An all-to-familiar beeping alerted the pirate that the Tear Runner's engines were burning on fumes and that usually meant another 4 or 5 seconds of booster power. Rah detached the ship before he became stranded and made his way back towards the open hangar of the Shock Hammer. The warship was drifting considerably slower now, but even something moving at that speed as big as the Shock Hammer was still going to cause some serious damage. The sudden activity amongst the fleet caught his attention. Landing crafts were being dispatched towards the surface.
They either took my word about that traitorous nuna, or they really want whoever was in that ship dead. he muttered to himself.
Rah was literally shaken out of his observation as the Tear Runner's engine began to sputter and whine. At the same time a group of tractor beams locked with the Shock Hammer and began to strain against its mass. It stopped the craft with only a few meters to spare and began moving it towards its hangar which opened slowly.
Rah pulled the Tear Runner about to face the hangar and punched the throttle. The engines coughed and died out. The crafts momentum was now pulling the helpless fighter away from the Sith frigate. The pirate considered his predicative and pulled a gutsy move. He pulled one of the circuit panels out from under the counsel and slashed one of the wires with his vibroblade. The targeting computer flashed an alert "Missile Clamp Systems malfunctioning".
Ignoring the warning, Rah deployed the remaining missile rack and missile. "Missile Clamp Systems malfunc-" Rah thrust his blade into the diagnostic screen and left it buzzing upright. He flicked off missile fire safety and pulled the trigger. Outside the hull, the ignition sparked but the clamps holding the projectile in place did not release. The Tear Runner was jerked forward suddenly as the missile roared to life, dragging the fighter along with it towards the Hanger of the Sith craft.
It was approaching quickly now, timing and precision would be crucial. Rah tapped a few buttons and the ion turret deployed from the top and trained on the missile rack. The hanger was only a few hundred meters away now. In one fluid motion, Rah pulled the fighter around once more and pulled the trigger on the ion cannon control array. The cockpit lights flickered as the the clamps sparked and sprang open freeing the restrained missile in the direction of the planet. ((OOC: Can't resist saying this: where it eventually smashed into the house of a soon-to-be-orphaned force-sensitive child killing his/her parents in a freak accident. If anyone wants to use this in their bio, feel free! XD))
The miniscule duration of facing the opposite direction slowed down the Tear Runner substantially enough that it didn't dash itself inside the hangar walls. Instead, Rah found himself drifting slowly in alongside the Shock Hammer and clanking lightly off the back wall of the hangar. The hangar door closed and the Tear Runner crashed to ground as the artificial gravity was initiated, the Shock Hammer being gently lowered onto the durasteel surface by the tractor beams.
Rah stumbled from the cockpit and gazed mournfully at the state of his two most precious possessions. The pirate sighed, yanked his vibroblade from the targeting array and began limping towards the personnel blast doors. His cybernetic leg had been almost completely drained from powering the transmitter and now was nearly useless to walk upon. The guards posted beside it eyed him warily and raised their weapons in alarm as one of the top hatches on the Shock Hammer popped open and a pair of leathery wings alighted a small reptilian creature upon the pirate's shoulder.
((also, I sense that a few more people may pop into this thread as potential crew for the Shock Hammer when I FINNALY get onto Korriban (bloody traitorous Dark Jedi, and annoying Admirals) so don't be alarmed.))

Bajr paced back and forth just behind the rank of sith infantry before him as he waited for the pirate to arrive in the hanger bay. One...two...bajr counted his heart beats as he waited six...seven...What is taking so long? he thought as he turned to continue pacing stopping as he caught a blink of light from the corner of his eye. Watching as the shine was a first just a intermittent flash, but soon grew into a large misshapen mass as the ship neared the blood moon's bow. "Get ready." his order came and one short breath, but the results were rather greater than those two little words would imply as almost four dozen infantry men everything from regular troopers to grenadiers and spec-ops trained there rifles on the quickly slowing ship. The sound of droids clanking and whirling to the front was almost enough to overcome the sicken crushing of a small fighter as the large gunship basically landed on it. Bajr fought to focus his ailing eyes on the hatches of the gun boat popped open and out awkwardly came a small furry animal of some kind who swooped down to alight on the limping pirates shoulder. Bajr gave a curt nod to the major next to him moments before every rifle in hanger was trained on the pirate's head and chest before he asked for a small request, a very slight request. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't turn you into a fine mist of blood where you stand pirate."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sith's blood get us back on our feet corporal now!" Colonel Barker puffed breaths quickly in and out of his nose as his walker shoot and bucked on the ground as the desperate corporal attempted to right the machine. "Don't just stand there after them shoot them down!" the colonel could hear the sound of the the walkers firing as the corporal finally managed to right the machine as the ship left firing range. "Their gone colonel." Barker let he head hang down in defeat. "Everyone reform sweep positions."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Red two?"
"Don't worry I got a lock, Red two box one." any one near by would have seen a long reddish white flame as the concussion missile streaked from the bottom of the Assailant Repulsor lift Vtol and arched towards the freighter.

((OOC: The Shock Hammer didn't land on the Tear Runner, the fighter just hit the ground hard. Also, reptiles aren't furry. )) Rah chuckled as he cringed in pain. He stumbled forward a bit further using his vibroblade as a crutch that sparked as it scathed the hangar floor. Tenderly, he reached into his flight jacket and withdrew a small rectangular device. It had a long antenna and was giving off a faint ping at regular intervals. Dark Jedi aren't the only ones who don't trust anyone. So here's MY question: How much do you want to find the man behind all this trouble? At the sight of the tracking device, Rah could see the admiral's expression flicker to a small smile. One of the guards began to move forward. In a split second Rah's vibroblade was flipped from it's position and the edge sparked instead against the surface of the tracking device. Ah ah, try anything and I'll destroy it. You see, there's not a single being besides my friend on my shoulder in the galaxy that I trust. Certainly not a Dark Jedi supposedly "allied" with me. The Sith never make allies. So naturally, I stuck a tracking device onto that puny freighter of his to make sure he didn't try anything. So how about we sit down and pretend to be civilized people for a little while? Tssslk smirked down at the admiral from his position atop Rah's shoulder. Do not missstake me for sssome sssimple beassst. I will be watching you ssso don't try anything if you want to leave thisss dissscusssion intact. Rah only narrowed his eyes and kept the vibroblade positioned over the only thing keeping him alive. What say you?

Bajr snorted at the over confidant pirate. "I could well remind you that piracy is a capital offense in the empire not to mention terrorism." Bajr let a smirk pry across his wrinkled snout "Yes, I recognize this manticore that you stole from Muunlist and remember the nuclear weapon you detonated." Barj took a minute to growl at the small leather winged beast. "I could crush you with one squeeze you scaly collection of spare parts." Bajr straightened his coat and turned slightly before speaking to rah once more. "I have ships on this freighter as we speak, I hardly see how I need your device."

Jerek saw the missles coming. "Blast," he said under his breathe. He attemped to dodge one missle by going into a barrel-roll to the right. He avoided one fo the two missles, but the second slammed into his left engine. "Droid, get the extra you jsut put into the right engine and get the left one operational again!" The droid obeyed. He had the power back in the elft engine in a few minutes.
Now what would Jerek do? He could attempt a fake crash in the desert, but they'd search the crash site for survivors, surely. A warning came on, saying the deflector shields were dying out. Had they been being shot at that long? Jerek hadn't noticed. If he re-routed the deflectors to the front and made another pass on the walker, he could probably cripple some or destroy them.
"Get ready down there. We're making another pass on the walkers!" Jerek yelledinto the intercom. "Take power rear deflectors to charge frontal shields." The droid obeyed its master. Jerek swivled his freighter around and kicked it toward the walkers. He prepepd the missle and activated the autoturrets. The turrets blazed at the walkers legs and the missles fired in perfect unision into another's cockpit. One fell and the other was destroyed.
Jerek still sensed Rah's presence on Korriban. Well, above it somewhere. Jerek blasted through the walkers' ranks again and swerved into the canyon he had previously escaped from. He dodged heavy fire from the remaining walkers. "Get our rear deflector shields back online!" It took the droid a few moments, but the shields were back online, after some damaged was done to the hull of the Shade Slayer. The whole time this was going on, Jerek had a bad feeling.

Jakob heared Jerek warn him that they were taking another pass as on of thr missles contacted the left engine. He got ready, took a deep breath and began firing on the walkers, the turrets repeadtedly shot at the cockpit of one of the walkers, instantly killing the pilot and copilot. He then swiveled the turret around, shooting each joint of each leg on the walker until finally it fell to the ground with a thud. The walker was enfulfed in flames from the firey explosions. Jakkob took aim at the next walker but before he could shoot again, it fired it's laser cannons at the right wing and right as it was about to hit, the shields came back on. He saw the main gunning systems fire on two other walkers off to the left instantly taking them out just as they swooped down low again inbetween two surviving walkers. [glow=red,2,300]We cant just keep playing cat and mouse with these guys, theres way too many of them and we're already losing. [/glow] He yelled up at the pilot with a sense of urgency in his tone.

Rah didn't blink. If they wouldn't take the tracking device as leverage, then he'd just have to do what he does best: improvise. Come now Tssslk, lets not threaten the good admiral. As for you however...
Rah kept his gaze locked with the admiral and kept the blade against against the transmitter. Let me tell you that the ship you pursue is not one to underestimate, from what I know of the pilot's capabilities he's probably already taken out your pursuit fighters. Now I don't doubt that you would catch him....eventually....but wouldn't it be so much easier if you had a little beacon telling you exactly where he flees to?
A crooked smile twitched on Rah's face as a worried looking officer pulled collar. He was probably about to tell the admiral exactly that. Rah turned his attention back to the Admiral and began to speak just as calmly as ever. However, if you feel that finding the Jedi is not as important as my life then I guess I'll just have to extend the deal. As you said, I did indeed detonate a nuclear device on muunilist and I still have 3 more. All of which are rigged to detonate in approximately 4 minutes and 51 seconds.
Nothing about Rah's expression betrayed the fact he was bluffing, but if this could save his skin then anything was worth a try. The explosion would no doubt kill us all as well as rip through this ship and any nearby ones like they were made of tissue paper. Kill me now, and you'll have no one who could defuse them in time. So here's my final offer: I will defuse the EMP torpedoes and you will give me safe passage to the surface of Korriban and provide my ships with full repair service. I will then hand over the tracking device and you may feel free to relentlessly pursue and dispatch the Jedi and his compatriots while I will be allowed to jump away safely. If you do not find these terms acceptable...well...I guess we'll ALL perish. Rah looked around the hangar and was pleased to see many worried expressions among the Admiral's ranks. iHowever, if they didn't buy the bluff things would get very bad very fast.

Bajr kept his eyes set hard on this pirate captain. “I have fighters on him as we speak not to mention ground units in hot pursuit. The will not escape the might of the empire for any real length of time just as you have not.” Barj said keeping his face hard and unflinching. Bajr had to laugh at the pirate's threat. “I was a pirate for almost thirty years I don't believe you have or would do anything of the such.” Bajr hoped his supreme confidence would help the men several of which twitched back with the pirates threat. “Regardless I will humor you Arglos send someone to get the ESS woman.” Bajr crossed his arms over his chest as he glared at the pirate. “Fine, you wish to deal, I'll play, give me the tracker and I won't feel the need to use you as a training aid for my men, I may even let you keep your wreck of a ship.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Walkers-
“Sith's Blood, Sergeant Keal your in charge get those damn walkers moving!” the colonel trapped his he down walker ordered as he struggled to pop the hatch on the walker. “Yes, sir”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Assailant Vtols-
“Keep on it anyone got a lock with your concussions?” Flight lead Porlpse swung though the granite pillars of the Korriban plains as he spoke over the comm array. “I got one sir, and am in track to fire.” One of the other pilots spoke over the radio it was a member of his squad. “Then what are you waiting for.” he said as he finally spotted the freighter and slid past it firing his heavy laser cannon. “Roger, two away good track.” he heard the pilot who spoke earlier say over the comm as he heard his own tracking system set of a siren as the freighter was locked and he let both of his own missiles drop from the bottom of his craft as he rolled it off from the fight.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Interceptors-
“Blue you see him yet?”
“Yeah green lead he's strait down, everyone follow me into the dive.” Keal's face scrunched up preparing for the fight this was the second fight he'd been in one day. His interceptor rolled onto it's back a moment before it dived steeply at the speck that was the freighter far bellow. Finally nearing the freighter he and 6 other interceptors let off a stream of medium laser cannons bolts at the freighter before peeling off before hitting the ground.

A warning sprang up on the sensor. "Missiles?! Again?! Droid, keep us on our course!" Jerek shot up from his seat and made it to the latter leading up to the top gun. Ge clambered into the seat and took aim at the few flying missiles. He blasted them out of the sky. The explosion was too close, though. Then, he saw the interceptors. He leapt down the latter and ran for the cockpit. He'd never make it. He reached both his hands in an attempt to steer through the Force. Mraculously it worked. He jerked the controls to the left, going into a wonky kind of dodge attempt. He just barely dodged their little laser barrage.
"Droid, get the deflectors back to maximum power. Meanwhile, I'll be in my fighter. Try not to get our new 'friend' or my ship destroyed!" Jerek full out sprinted to his fighter. He got up to the cockpit in one amazing leap. He dropepd his cloak behind in the small but comfortable cockpit. He pulled the hatch down, buckling himself in. He and the droid were in pefect unison. Just as Jerek launched form the freighter, the droid got the shields back up to their normal power, maybe more.

Jakobs aim was thrown off when the shift was thrown to tho the left with a sudden jolt. And then in his peripherals he saw Jerek running down the hallway and then leaping into another small fighter. He was incredibally confused but soon got back to firing the walkers until he then wondered who was piloting. He felt relieved to look back and see the droid thing was already on it. He fired on another wlk only half paying attention since he figured out the method to easily destroying them, he took out 3 more with virtualy no effort.

Aye, you're a tougher one to fool than I supposed I see... Rah watched as whatever was left of the fear in the soldier's faces evaporated. Tssslk wispered something in his ear and took flight back towards the Shock Hammer. Immediately, several blasters were beaded on him.
Don't mind him. Truth is this device in my hand is nothing more than the dead battery for this old leg of mine. He's gone to fetch the actual transmitter to close our little accord. Rah watched Tssslk gain altitude before suddenly diving into the open top hatch out of the corner of his eye.
Your terms are remarkably suprising, as is your backround. It would seem the "Great Sith Empire" is starting to get deperate.... not that I would ever condone the employing of great pirates as military officers. We're much more wise in this area am I right? A military trained general? Bah! They spend much too much time talking things over when victory is simply a trigger pull away.
Rah looked intently at the Admiral ignoring all the other soldiers. I respect that you must be proficient at your job. I must confess myself....impressed. A multitude of the soldiers began to cry out in terror and yank their firearms in the direction of the Shock Hammer. A whirring echoed through the hangar as one of the laser turrets on it swiveled to face the Admiral.
I regret that I must bring this to confliction to gunpoint, however I fear that your conditions are not exactly assuring. Believe me when I say I have no intentions to kill you and all intentions to give you the tracking device. Unfortunetly, I wish to be reassured that I WILL be allowed to leave with my life and my two fully repaired ships. Otherwise....well I don't believe Tssslk understands how to bluff. Rah smiled maliciously at the Admiral as the turret began to hum.

((O.O.C DJtyper1 those puny little medium laser cannons on that freighter are not going to easily kill a assault walker designed to defeat heavy and assault tanks.))
"Fool" Bajr spat the word out like it was a bitter tasting bug. "You attack my ships, bomb one of the empires shipyards, and then you come onto my ship and threaten me? insult me!" Bajr growled with a rising crescendo. "Ready Fire!" he quipped quickly his men raised their arms. "Give me the tracker Now!" Bajr puffed out his breath as the ships turrets were pointed in his direction. Some might consider the old admiral's reaction curious as he slowly straightened his uniform. "You assume I am afraid of dieing. Unfortunately for me I still have things to complete. You have your agreement I will put you down on Korriban safely and land all the part you need to fix it on your own, I will not allow you to hold one of my people hostage nor give you the chance, but." he added pointing his clawed hand at the pirates for head "If you are ever found in Empire space you will be immediately destroyed is that perfectly clear."

Seeing the fighter slide out of the freighter Porlpse radioed the interceptors getting ready for another dive on the freighter "We have a starfighter coming out maybe making a run, Keal your interceptors can run it down we'll concentrate on the freighter." he said banking to the left and sending a heavy laser cannon bolt ripping into the ship.

"Copy" kreal said as he dived in on the fighter blazing bolts towards is before pulling back with the rest of blue an green flights to fall on his tail.

Rah smiled widely and hobbled back to the wreckage of the Tear Runner. Reaching into the cockpit, he withdrew the actual tracking device and tossed it to the admiral. Pleasure doing business with you. I agree to your terms; once I get this ship operational I won't be expecting any mercy from you should I show my face in these regions.
The Shock Hammer looked more decrepit than ever now that he could calmly examine it with only minimal fear of being shot in the behind. What was left of the armor was hanging off like loose skin and various plasma leaks and sparks illuminated dark crevices torn in the hull. I believe we suffered a coolant leak which caused the reactor to shutdown to keep from overheating. It shouldn't be too problematic to fix though it would certainly help to have someone knowledgeable in the field of reactors... Rah glanced at the Tear Runner's fuel cells and chuckled.
The pirate hobbled his way to the loading ramp and leaned against the hull for support. He pulled back a panel and punched in a key code. The ramp deployed from underneath the shock hammer creaking in protest as it shuddered. He began to walk onto the ramp but hesitated a moment before turning around once more. I tell ya what. In return for your....hospitality and for towing me ship back to the surface, I'll make you a little something out of some of the leftover parts. I spent 200 years alone in a workshop. I have created technology never before conceived. Rah gestured towards the Tear Runner that craft was the ultimate fruit of my labor. It's abilities surpass that of any fighter I've seen on the market. Do not underestimate my productivity just because of my destructive occupation. As thanks, and perhaps a bit of assurance that you aren't just going to bombard me as soon as I land, I'll share what I have discovered with you...
