Terrorist Attack on the Temple

Yes, you read the title right.

Anyways... Darth Paxis has tasked Zarnia Kup'elun and Zarene Yin with the mission of attempting to kill Jedi Council members. As neither of these two Dark Jedi have any real chance of matching a Jedi Master in combat, they're probably going to resort to a bombing or something similar.

This will take place as soon as the mission to Bakura ends.

This thread of for discussing any plot details and ideas.

Dark Jedi: Zarnia, Zarene, and any other dark jedi that wish to be involved

Jedi: anyone who is at the Temple might at least want to be aware of this.

I might like to have my dark jedi take part it in. Depends on how long it is until the Bakura plot ends. Although I might want him involved in the Mon Calamari Invasion instead.

Ok here was my plan as pretty much everyone knows.

We would house a small amount of anti-matter in Zarnia's ship's reactor which one on planet we would use to build several Matter/Anti-matter weapons which we would hid around Corrusant and hopefully in the temple properly.

Assuming this happens..what are we talking about in terms of destruction towards the temple...remember we can't really be wiping out the whole council now can we..and all the jedi for that matter XD

Well, it depends if we go with my plan we could be talking about leveling 3-4 square miles surrounding the epicenter

if you are looking for anti matter my understanding of modern black hole theories state that they create anti matter and that larger one create more. I know they might not create enough in the real world but for our sight I think we can play with it a little and let you harvest enough to make your bombs. That is a mods call though.

As for the Jedi thing I am sure we can find reasons to get lots of world. An invasion of Mon Cal would probably draw a strike team of at least 12, then there is the mission to Bakura, the we could also have some Jedi go to Mygeeto. You could be dealing with 30 ,masters and Apprentices having left the the temple, plus we have whatever other mission Jedi are off doing at the time. They could destory a mostly empty Jedi temple.

It wouldn't take much 3 or 4 anti protons would be more than enough for two bombs probably.

Well that would not be hard to find, I also edited my above post to talk about damage to the Jedi order.

I would point out that after the events on Dantooine the Jedi are not going to be easy to fool again, they will have increased their defenses at the temple since they know they are being targetted. Also, if any Dark Jedi going near the temple would be pretty much suicide, the Gatekeepers would know that they aren't Jedi for a start and considering their age they would at least recognise the faces if they were Jedi. So if you are going to try and pull this off then you're going to need a well thought out plan and will need to take into consideration the Jedi's defences of their temple, it is, in its own right, pretty much a fortress.

I brought up this same issue before, which Jenno just mentioned...but Zark had some plan about droids or something?

I know Paxis has given the mission, but does that mean it necessarily has to succeed? like can't there be a failed attempt for now..I mean that does happen all the time.

Droids is an idea. I do think the Jedi would inspect any donated droids fairly closely however, since if I'm not mistaken, they've been hurt by sabotaged droids before.

And yes, there's no reason that the plot actually has to succeed. However, the Dark Jedi are going to be making a serious attempt and hopefully shake things up a bit.

My suggestion to Zarkan was that they would recruit maybe a few more Dark Jedi and maybe attack Council Members when they were out on missions.

makes sense...but I mean most of the members have just returned from places or haven't gone anywhere at all...but I guess after the attacks on Mygeeto and Mon Cal..the Council will have to deliberate on whether the Jedi will get involved or not...so then I assume they will start going out on missions.

If we want to assemble some of those bombs on-planet, then we'd also need to have another character, a smart one with technical know-how. Someone who can make an arc reactor in a cave with a box of scraps kinds of smart. Don't know if such a char exists just yet. Could be an NPC, I suppose...

Could the Jedi Masters detect people making big bombs with their danger-sense?

I like that idea a lot. Firstly it would explain why Zarene is on the Bakura mission and Zarnia isn't. Vreem Took is scheduled to go to Bakura and will be attacked there.

In the meantime, Zarnia can be gathering many of currently uninvolved dark jedi (and there seems to be a lot of them) in order to coordinate other attacks.

Go big.
If your going to have a plan, make it more elaborate then a bombing. Take hostages, hire mercs, mislead the jedi and daw them off courouscant and make them deal with so many problems that you can launch atacks on so many places the jedi aren't that it becomes a problem. Don't start with the temple, thats end-game stuff.
Still this is more of a master plan then a terrorist attack.

recruiting dark jedi....... that seems fairly familiar to me XD. recruiting isnt too hard. marius likes to kill council members ask her about this.. techinically shes still a jedi they dont knows shes bad yet.


i think its all plausible... but jedi would detect the danger. Good luck though.

Here's what I'm thinking right now (subject to change, of course)... The Bakura attack is the first step, bolstering the DJ ranks with more force adepts, as well as drawing out members of the Jedi council (Vreem, in this case)

In the meantime, Zarene can hand Zarnia a list of Exchange contacts (she used to work for them). I assume that the Exchange would still have a good presence on many outer rim worlds, and Zarnia, being the political manipulative little bastard that she is, can probably use those contacts to gain a good amount of control over the organization and use them to coordinate riots, set of bombs, and generally cause trouble on many outer rim territories at once.

Plus, there's a good number of new dark jedi and dark-minded merc player characters waiting to be recruited. They can be used to cause general mayhem and to attack any jedi that show up trying to stop the chaos.

Many of the attacks will probably be minor, but enough have to be important enough to draw out the jedi. suggestions?

Once most of the council member and guardian knights are drawn out of the temple to deal with these simultaneous attacks, the main strike can occur on the temple, with the grandmaster as the target.
