Rescuing a Twi'lek chica that Tor once knew?

Sounds ok to me, but there's a few things I'm failing to understand...

... "Aila found work singing and dancing with the O'tanis."

Meh? There seems to be an apostrophe sneaking in there with
Tor's last name. And although the Otani family might have some
musical talent, they don't make a habit of singing or dancing. A
retired Mandalorian once taught Tor how to play / use the Besbev
(Mando War Flute), but that's about as far as it goes.

How about this... maybe she tutored Tor on how to sing better
and helped him expand on his flute playing ability. Tor paid her
with the extra credits he had saved up from upgrading people's
blasters, thereby helping her get out of the tough spot she was in.

If they were best friends, it's highly unlikely Tor would just up
and leave her; he's a fiercely loyal type of person. In fact, if she
had spent time with the Otani, they would most likely adopt her,
nullifying her financial troubles and also providing a solution to
her problem of getting captured by Hutts.

I like the idea for Miss Aila Lalone, a lot. ^^

Now then... we need a reason that she would leave the company
of the Otani. Maybe Aila and Tor's friendship was starting to
blossom into something else? Maybe this scared her a little bit?
Maybe she didn't like the idea of becoming romantically involved
with a bounty hunter, someone who could end up dead practically
any day of the week?

And so... she's able to post a plea for help basically, and Tor is
quick to notice it. So off he goes to once again try to be a knight-
in-shining-beskar, dragging the rest of the crew with him. I hope
you realize how crazy-killer Tor gets when someone he loves is
threatened - it would be pretty darn scary. o_0;

On Another Note:

~ I think I can post our group's first thread by Sunday evening
(the 22nd). We can start with the dialogue, etc while we're on
our way to Nar Shaddaa. We still have details to hash out on the
bounty for the Bothan slicer dude.

What works works. I'm good enough to set begining char.s bashing the finish into it is for those with more finese. It sounds good at lest this will give Je'Baru an excuse to do some major maiming. He Gets like a wolf on the chain if he dosn't get to hurt some thing regularly.

Ok, time for a major update!

~ For simplicity's sake, it's been decided that we are going to proceed as follows:

1. I will post a thread entitled "Deja Blue" in 'The Galaxy :: Space' section.
I will provide a link for everyone here in this discussion thread.

2. For that first thread, we will simply be talking and getting used
to how our characters interact... or don't interact as the case may
be. We should probably have them discuss a few of the possible
bounties that Cirith noted the first time we were all there on Nar
Shaddaa.

3. When we're done with that, I will post a new thread in
the 'The Galaxy :: Outer Rim :: Nar Shaddaa' section and will
provide the link here. That thread will be entitled "Deja Blue (Continued)".

4. Then we RP entering Nar Shaddaa's atmosphere, landing, and
starting the first bounty hunt.

And now some Crucial Details:

The First Bounty:

Cirith came up with this one, a very interesting but fairly straight-
forward plot. Back on Nar Shaddaa, we're contacted by the owner
of the Laughing Mynock, who has been having major problems
with a certain Rodian. He wants it to end, permenantly. After
learning that this Rodian (who is blue - "The blue one!" as
Sunshine plans on saying) is part of an illegal-underground arena
that hosts death matches, we decide not to just walk up and gun
him down in the street. Instead, we decide to join in the death
matches so that one of us will end up having the Rodian as an
opponent so that we can kill him there, under the radar as it
were. This'll give us all some practice at writing how our char's
fight. We can either write our own NPC's for the fight, or trade off
on who writes who's opponent NPC.

The Thread's Title:

"Deja Blue" refers to the fact that the crew was just at Nar
Shaddaa and was where the unusual circumstances that led to
their comradeship took place. It also refers to the fact that
our first target is a blue Rodian. Plus, we get to use a play on
words. =P

The Post Order:

It'll probably be mostly common sense and rely upon who can
get online and when, but I recommend the following order:

- Tor: Since I will start the thread, I'll post first so that we can
geet 'er done. (I hate that saying, put it seemed appropriate.)

- Cirith: Tor will probably be looking over read-outs in the cockpit,
so naturally Cir'ika will be right there to react / say / do whatever
he'd like to.

- Tor: Me again I guess? Maybe I could have Tor walk out of the
cockpit and down a few corridors, stopping in on certain rooms.
Any ideas where you (Toula, Katar, and Foxfire) would like your
chars to be doing when he walks by? Lemme know. ^^

- Je'Baru: Possibly? If he's able to get online? I think Foxfire
would like to write out a few of his Noghri's mannerisms, so
Je'Baru will probably be doing what he does best - sneakin' 'round.

- Katar: I've talked with him and Toula and they have a little
scene planned. Sunshine and Katar will be sparring in one of the
large storage rooms, and just as Tor is walking past to check on
the engines, something (like a storage crate) will fly out of the
doorway, right past him.

- Toula: Sunshine's version of what just happened, probably
starting with her agreeing to spar with the Wolfman to pass the
time.

- Cirith: I imagine Cir will hear the crate clank against the wall. xD

- Je'Baru: How Je'B reacts to what his new crew-mates are doing,
or whatever Foxfire has in mind at this point.

... We should have a good idea of how to coordinate this fairly
quickly. I suggest we avoid double-posting as that can throw
off the flow of events between the five characters. But, if you do,
try to make sure it's not anything that will really affect the rest of
the crew, at least not immediately.

Je'Baru would be in one moment working at a work station building building a glass tank container. then Tor would turn an see Je'Baru walk into his room with finished tank.

In room music would be playing-by Aila Lalone, A sad and haunghting melody. Telphyr would be half out of tank giving birth to 20-30 Telphyr eggs that begin to glow and emit a toxic gas.

OK, it's about time we got started. To make thing's easier on all of us I think one person should write the NPC's actions and dialogue, with me and Tula editing/suggesting ideas and if Bear is around him too.
It'd just make thing's easier for all of us I think, rather than having a bunch of different ideas splashed up on the server on the actions of the NPC and our characters.
This I think would also speed up our response time, less scrolling for all of us XD.
Elav has kindly volunteered for the job of writing the NPC's dialogue and actions.
As for what Cirith would be doing.....I dunno what he'd do besides clean his weapons and making sure everything including the ship is in working order, standing in the cockpit thinking or in his room doing his daily excercises. So starting him out in the cockpit is fine with me.
Everything about the thread is fine with me, I'm just ready to RP like Bear/Je'Baru.

Woo! Katar hath postedid, and now it's me again... unless Cir
would like to put in his tid-bit of humor he was talking about
now. ;D

So Foxfire, Je'Baru is sneaking up on Tor just for kicks, to see if
the Mando will notice him? How much effort exactly is he putting
into it? As a Zeltron, Tor can sense people emotions, but you've
already stated that Je'B's emotions are pretty much nullified
when he goes into Silent Stalk mode. So I'm thinking Tor won't
be able to detect him, unless he happens to put his helmet back
on, and then his HUD's instruments would pick up the Noghri.

~ What're your thoughts? Anyone want to plan the next few posts?

The only thing going through Je'Baru's mind is this The pounding of anothers heart, the scent of fear, the faint salty taste of blood, the feel of the kill.

As for the thread let's have maybe one run thru to katar to finish thread as their landing on the smugglers moon. And the prep on the bounties like discussion on with ones. That way ones have to talk more and have imputs about if the need to resupply before missions.

Here's a probable senaro On one of the Bounty hunts a perp is killing rich folks manly females in rich dress, you know the types All frills no brains. But here's the kicker sunshine is not willing to be bait nor willing to ruin another of her good dress. She has a old frill dress that a person gave her that she hates. She says Use this thing and don't expect me to wear it either. So the discussion of who will wear it. Cirith and Tor look to Katar yet the dress is wrong size. Tor looks at Cirith. Cirith says h--l no and then looks at Tor. Tor then shys away. Cirith takes dress and sizes up Tor, Still not a good fit. then Cirith says We have got to get some one to wear this thing. Cirith holding out dress in from of door way. At that moment Je'Baru walks in to door way. Everyone looks at dress and Je'Baru, it's a perfect fit. Je'Baru says What?

Je'Baru would come so close to Tor that Je'Baru would be able to snort right by Tor's neck. If Tor jumps or swings his arm for a back hand Je'Baru would just be at a kneeling position by the time Tor would react. If any more info Pm me.

and by the way not sure about Valadin's rp-char it in plot discussion board. If you all wait for mandos then I might have Je'Baru do a side thread, till that time, to honor his life promise.

Ok so I think Cirith wants to move our story along and
move us to Nar Shaddaa. I'm now in favor of this as well,
I admit that my muse for dialogue and such is running
pretty dry as of late...

I was going to post again in our Space thread, but I just
can't seem to come up with anything interesting enough to
merit a mention...

Oh and don't worry Foxfire, I'll include the part were Je'B snuck
up on Tor in his thoughts, b'cuz I'm not letting that moment go
to waste.

So how about we move right along to Nar Shaddaa, and include
some of that group-dynamic on-the-fly as it were. We'll land,
probably include a little bit about everyone gearing up, and then
have them go over the details of the first bounty - the reason
they're back on Nar Shaddaa.

So g'head and start up the next part of our 'lil story Cir... b'cuz
I'm running low on muse-o-mex and I'm afraid I kinda flopped our

Ok, here are some bounties that me, Tor and Tula have come up with. Lil note, bounties might be repaeted in this message .

Ok, #1. If you guys have suggestions I'll take them btw.
Bothan Slicer by the name of (something, I'll come up with it later).
Wanted for: Interfereing with an Arena match and screwing with the security systems. Robbing the Czerka Bank electronically. Stealing classified documents from Czerka.
Wanted by: Zorbal the Hutt-Arena Manager/Owner, and Czerka Corporation.
He'll be wanted alive, preferably, so the Hutt can teach him a lesson. Czerka probably won't care either way.

#2. This'll be the first Bounty we go after.
A Blue Rodian. He's a Death Match Arena Combatant.
He's wanted by the owner of the Laughing Mynock.
He's wanted for shooting the place up, and he's wanted dead.

#3: A Twi'lek Dancer.
Tor knew this chica once-upon-a-time and wants to rescue her from the clutches of a nasty person.

#4:Cereal Killer on teh loose! or on the frill? lol.
A man is killing rich girls in frilly dresses. The rich folk want him found and terminally dealt with.

#5: Pirates!
The captain of the Yo Hoe and his crew are wanted by CorSec, CSF (Coruscant Security Force), Czerka Corporation and The Hutt Clans.
They are wanted for killing members of each respective group and ofcourse Piracy.
If you guys come up with any more, cool, but as for now I think this is all our bounties.

Je'Baru's ready for the death matches and the 'Frild Hunt' pun intended. Might be a little off game for twi'lik rescue, but what the hey. As for anything else as long as Je'Baru gets to use his khabak's he's happy.

As far as I know, Katar and Sunny will be getting the
Saber's shields up, and Tor will be joining the fray
outside. I already put up a couple placeholders for the
two posts I'm going to make, so bear with me.
