I'm not sure what sort of discussion would be needed as only the three recruits of the mission have posted. Once our moderator member posts maybe there will be more to discuss.

I don't really think there is anything more Velos Borgmen or Luxa Magna can do now. River Moonflow said he would post by the end of yesterday, so I have been waiting for him, but he didn't show up. Now I am just waiting for Tuljima Gunslinger to post, then the NPC's can join.

Thing is, once my fellow gets to the city (which you two really should look up Empress Teta on Wookieepedia about), he's gonna head for a cantina and ask a few subtle questions. I'd rather not RP the barman or whoever since I can't control where the rogues are, so if one of the mods could play Twenty Questions I'd like that.

Hmm. I think we should discuss this now.

I, for one, am rather confused. There was talk in the cbox of someone killing my fellow or something, and the thread itself has been derailed somewhat. Perhaps I'm to blame for that in some measure, my fellow being unsuited to diplomacy, but still.

So, yes, discuss. What's everybody's viewpoints, who's doing what or gonna do what (or whom), and just how capable are these rogue Masters we're after? Like, what's their stats and such, in a nutshell? And any other details pertinent to the current mix-up.

Let me try to clarify. What Jace said in the cbox was that Raine should put a lightsaber to your character's neck. Which means attempting to take you hostage, like putting a gun up to your head and threatening to blow your brains out if you make a funny move. That sort of thing. Not chop your head off. We would never ever attempt to kill another character without permission first.

As for Luxa, since Tuljima, Velos, and Raine are standing in the same hallway, then if she had been attempting to hit Raine with that Force Wave, then she just blasted her own padawan.

I'm also a bit confused as to how Luxa managed to get into the room unseen. Even if she had been using Force camouflage and arrived before Raine destroyed the second life, surely someone would've seen the lift door opening and closing.

I haven't talked to Jace about Madara's specific strengths and weaknesses, but here's a quick summary of Raine's abilities. She fights with two lightsabers and is of average master level in most force areas, except for Sense, which she is very very good at. I tried to state this in my first post with her. This is why is was able to not only sense the jedi but count how many there were and gain a general sense of their power levels. Madara probably has slightly different strengths, so he would not be able to do this.

One more thing to keep in mind... this is Raine and Madara's home turf. They know the layout of the place very well. Tuljima, Luxa, Velos, and River probably won't know their way around quite as well.

I guess I have gotten a little confused too.

I guess it is possible that my character went un-notiiced (as everyone else may be distracted), but I don't see that being very fair. In the next post, I guess someone could explain they had seen something strange, indicating someone else had entered.

And about Velos being hit: I think it should be up to him whether the Force wave hit him, or if he was able to sense something and get out of the way. Luxa seemed to have one of those days when eveything is crazy, and I could see her losing her sense skills for a minute and accidentily hitting her Padawan (if that makes sense).

Sparrow is right about the whole blade to the neck thing. It is just a means of taking you hostage so we can escape.

Madara is a skilled Master, especially in his abilities with the saber. Though his force abilities are quite proficient too. He needs to be somewhat powerful otherwise your team would easily destroy us.

Just to make it clear, I didn't plan on our final confrontation to be in this basement. Maybe we can open some dialogue between the characters. In all honesty...an Epic Jedi battle should not be done in some basement

Dialogue would work. And you're right, the basement of an apartment complex isn't the place for an Epic Jedi Battle. The Force Wave thing is easy, maybe Luxa held off on it until she was past Velos and Tuljima.

I still don't like the idea of Tuljima being a hostage. He's extremely quick, and would be able to evade it. Why not take Velos instead? He's Luxa's Padawan, it would be a good way of manipulating her. Raine and Madara should be more worried about her than Tuljima; she's a Master, he's just a Knight who killed a Krayt dragon head on.

As long as it is okay with Eternal, I think it would make more sense that Madara and Raine take Velos hostage.

If that does happen, we could tie in some dialouge to negotiate the hostage situation.

And I agree about the basement. But we can play getting out of there by ear.

oh hush Karl...he may be fast but hes still a knight who was busy in his scope trying to shoot someone. Anyways we wouldn't know that eternal was SWG's padawan...

Either way, Raine has already got Tuljima so yeah....its only gonna be for like a post or two...then you can be as much as a hotshot as you want.

Sorry for my lack of activity these last two days. I've been busy assisting my parents with their second dance event and it's taken up a lot of time.

About the hostage situation; I don't mind Velos being taken hostage.

I'm still confused about the Force Wave thing. I don't think Velos has enough force knowledge to be able to truly sense Luxa approaching when he is focused on Raine and Madara. So it is possible for him to be knocked into the wall of something by the Force Wave move.

Looking on Wookiepedia it wouldn't matter if Luxa waited till she was past Velos and Tuljima as Force Wave blasts out from all around the user. So unless prevented her from using it then she'd be using it on anyone that was in the basement.

Luxa's a Master, I'm sure she could focus its path in specific directions. It's what makes them Masters, after all, being able to do crazy stuff like that.

I don't know if anyone is waiting for me to post, but I am waiting for the NPC's. (That may sound a little mean, I am not attempting to rush Sparrow and Jace, I just wanted to make sure people were aware that I wasn't posting for a reason.)
