sorry about the double post but I just realized that Synth and Prod haven't been on for quite some time. I think we should start discussing how to go about it in case they don't return anytime soon

Synth said that he's busy with tests right now, so will hopefully be back. I'm a bit worried about Prod, considering where he was last time he posted...

If they don't show, I guess there's always the method of putting their character in the background, acknowledging their presence but not having them actually do anything, so that they should be able to jump right back in when they do return.

I was never involved in this. I said I was going to stay out of the assassination. When it is completed, Julius will return from the Sith (Hopefully with them as his allies) and claim the throne.

My Lord, I did all that was in my power to be in attendance at our great celebration, but my affairs in the Outer Rim have prevented me from leaving. It seems recent pirate activity and the dreaded corruption rampant in the Outer Rim have combined to close all ports at my location. I was nearly allowed to leave, but the time it would take to return to Corellia would result with my arrival several days after the ceremony. Alas I could not leave and thus had to see to the full conclusion of my business here. You have my sincerest apologies.

On a small colony in the Outer Rim, Julius bribed the officials to close all the ports for a significant time, thus giving credibility to his excuse.

OH! Nice speech, I'll be sure to put that in there after Sparrow and Jace get in a round, thank you.

Also, you and I need to start throwing around some ideas about after the assassination. Rook will become king after this, so he and Julius will definitely have to do some RPing.

Side note: I made the Royal Family's name Solosten so as to reference to the Solo name. It might be interesting, since the names are so similar, to have it discovered that Julius is related to the royal family. Thus, he could have a bit more credibility when he tries to take the throne.

Anywho, Jace, Sparrow, I posted the beginning of the ceremony. So if you guys want to get in a round. Then I'll post with the nice little speech Cav provided and move it forward to the crowning part, at which point please cause all hell to break loose. Then I'll post NPC reactions, bringing to to the point that Jace kills off the rest and then we'll wrap up!

Actually, Solo is the name of the Corellian Royal Family, hence the reason I made it part of his name. He is part of a younger branch of the Royal Family.

Edit: As for our rping, yes, that is something we will have to do. I am thinking that after the Assassination, Julius will use his connections, both political and illegal, to undermine the power of Rook and lead a faction that is determined to strengthen Corellia and gain more independence from the Republic.

What is Rook's stance on the Republic, I would imagine it would be a good one considering he is a Senator.

This might be the point in time when Julius reveals himself to be a Dark Jedi and uses the Sith to help him. Or doesn't. Either way.

Rook is a firm believer in the Republic. Remember that Corellia has been central in the Republic for a long time. A member of the royal family would know that well.

Anywho... creating a Corellian faction that is against the Republic would be very interesting... seeing as how Corellians are known for being loyal to the Republic.

As far as revealing himself as a Sith, I'd be careful about that. It would likely lose support for him from the common people. Notice that Palpatine didn't show his true colors until he was well secured in his power, and even then... I'm fairly sure the general public didn't know he was Sith. I would probably keep that part hush hush.


OK! So now I'm gonna be posting up the beginning of the ceremony up to the point where the Crown Prince is about to be... crowned, yeah. So be aware of that.

Because of inactivity, I'm going to give guidelines about who kills who, just so that we can make it seem that others were around and helped, even though they didn't RP it.

Sparrow: You will take out the Crown Prince

Jace: You will take out the King

It will be assumend that Prodigal and Synth take out the Queen and the second prince (Henry). This way, if they become active again, they'll have a role, and if not, we can write around it.

Now, in order to do this, we're going to say that each royal member has their own designated route to the safe house. I think the idea is that Prod and Syth will stake out the routes, while Jace watches the safe house to take out whoever is left.

Rook won't die because he will refuse to be taken away from his brother. Now Sparrow will have to leave after her one shot because her location will have been compromised.

The mission will be considered a great success, even without Rook's death because the two main targets were the King and Crown Prince.

After killing your assigned targets, it'll be scram time, so get the heck out of there!
