Break In (Open)

OOC: Huuuh I don't want this RP to get stuck so Im gonna go ahead and post. Valen and starwarsgirl, when ya guys get back and post, you may join in whenever. Till then, I must get this RP going and finished.

Just as Derga was about to lift off, the Umbaran came into view. Derga quickly stopped and watched him a moment, seeing him wave his hands weakly, trying to get his attention. He thought for a moment then snarled loudly as he jumped to his feet and ran down the corridor, back to the ramp. He quickly tapped the control to open it and ran down it quickly. He brought up his blaster and his lightsaber, quickly activating it while running at the Umbaran. Just as he reached him, several police enforcers came into view and opened fire. Derga deflected several bolts and returned fire, then grabbed the Umbaran and put his arm around his shoulder.

"You better be worth the trouble getting out." He grunted this, de-activating his lightsaber and clipping it to his belt and glancing over his shoulder. Several bolts of blaster fire went by them and hit about their feet, missing them by inches. Derga returned fire then quickly carried the Umbaran all the way to the waiting Starburner. As they reached the ramp, he released the Umbaran and pushed him up the ramp, turned about and fired a burst of shots at the incoming police enforcers (and taking down a couple), before turning about and running up the ramp himself.. One bolt unluckily got him right in the leg as he ran up, causing him to fall forward right next to the Umbaran's feet. "SITHSPIT! Arrrrrrgh!" He snarled loudly, crawling away from the ramp and hit a single button on the panel, sealing the ship. He then shouted once more. "GET US OUT OF HERE!!!!" The Bravo up at the cockpit immediately took over and sent the ship flying up into space.

Derga waited a moment before calming down slightly and breathing slowly. He snarled quietly as he moved his injured leg, "Damn things been burnt through." He quickly removed the leg armor there and inspected the wound, grunting in pain and gasping once as he prodded the wound. He sat back againest a wall and breathed deeply a moment, then glanced at the man he had just pulled onboard. "So have you got a name?" He growled this out quiet calmly despite the firey dagger stabbing him in the calf of his leg.

"Of course I have a name, don't we all?" Reaver smirked and leaned against a wall."My name is Reaver and I thank you for saving me." Reaver examined the ships interior."Very nice ship you have here..." He looked down at Dega's injury."Hmm, that must hurt, thank you a again. You also wield a lightsaber and are strong in the force." Reaver stared at Derga for a second then turned his gaze to his allies."Who are all of you people?"

Enjoying a peacful moment, Cai sighed. Suddenly, the loud boom of a ship taking off stratled Cai, making her jump into the air. She quickly glanced into the sky, seeing but a speck of gray on its journey to space.

A light immediatly clicked on in Cai's head. There was a definite story within that ship, and she was going to find it out.

Running from her spot, she shot across the streets, eventually reaching a shipyard. She located a man. "What is your fastest ship?" Cai asked.

"Well..." came a short reply.

"Never mind! I need your fastest ship and a good pilot!" Cai screamed at the man, throwing him all the credits she had brought with her. Moments later she was lead to a small ship, big enough to fit three people. Within seconds she was off the ground and into the sky. Another few seconds left her in space.

She checked her watch. 15 minutes since the other ship's take off.

"So where are you going lady?" the pilot asked.

Derga took a deep breath then stood up slowly. He limped along the corridor to the cockpit and taking his seat in the pilot's chair. "Arrgh..." He sighed painfully as he set his feet on the pedals at his feet and took the flight controls in his hands. He checked the scanners and saw nobady tailing them. "Alright...." He flicked the intercomm on. "All prisoners and ESA combatants straps yourselves down wherever you can. Were gonna soon have a rough ride. Bravo Squad, man gunner positions 1-4. Move it!" He shut the intercomm off and sent the ship spiraling in between a large factory pipeline and slowly pulling up to the sky.

A few seconds later, he glanced at his scanners and saw that a ship WAS tailing them now. He looked closely and saw it was a civilian ship. "What the hell? What's a civ doing following a Dynamic Gunship? Not to mention one that just came from the prison?" He shot past a small tower as he flew up into space, finally exiting the atmosphere and entering the vaccuum of space. "Bravo, be ready to repel any fighter resistance. We should expect company any second now." The moment the words were out of his mouth, a squadron of Aurek class Strikefighters come out of a nearby space station and head straight for them.

He sent the gunship into a spiral, missing a barrage of laserfire, then quickly put the engines at maximum speed.

The Umbaran hopped into the closest seat, strapping himself in tightly."What is going o-" He was cut off by the sudden spiral."Couldn't be a little more gentle?" He said under his breath."Hey, what's going on? If we die here then... that would be just fine." He said calmly.

All seemed to be going well. Cai's ship was catching up, then suddenly the other ship flew into a spiral. Cai knew that they were obviously not welcome. If only there was a way to grab the members on the ship's attention.

It would be risking no matter what Cai's next move was, but in the end it differed from the average interview, which Cai wished to get away from.

"Can we somehow communicate with that ship?" Cai asked the pilot. She had little to no knowledge on flying.

As Derga piloted the ship straight into space and trying to get past the magnetic field around the planet so they could make the jump to hyperspace, the COMM unit beeped. Derga grinned slightly, suspecting it to be the local officials asking for his immediate surrender, despite that they couldn't stop him. He flipped on the COMM unit and said briskly. "Yes what do you want, this better be worth my time as I'm busy outrunning a small squadron of fighters and a stupid civilian ship, not to mention a Foray-class blockade runner thats coming from the other side of the system." He waited for a reply, unaware of who was even calling him just yet.

OOC: Haha ok couldn't help putting that in there.

Moments later the pilot handed Cai a comm unit of sorts. She spoke into it. "Hello? Hello!" she spoke rather loudly.

Cai thought quickly. She needed a good excuse, yet sometimes honesty was the best way to go. "Yes, I am Isa Remara..." she said. She didn't want to use her real name, as she didn't want to have this event come back to bite her in the future.

This is where Cai was stuck. She could imply that these people were not the nicest, possibly hiding from the law. Perhaps stating she had money was the best option. But then again, what would happen when she revealed her empty pockets? Perhaps she could tell her true occupation to these strangers, and hope they agree to some form of meeting.

"...I am with the HNN. I would like to catch up on your story."

"This is a joke, right? We are being chased by a news reporter?" He said with a slight chuckle." He rolled his eyes and got up from his seat, making his way to the cockpit."We could just....shoot her down." He snickered at the thought."Or we could board her ship and I can kill her... and fly away. What do you think?" He sat the nearest sear once again. Reaver eyed the other people in the ship, he found their uniforms to be quite unique and a bit intimidating."I have to get me one of those." He said under his breath.

Derga blinked for a second, slightly surprised that a HNN reporter was wanting his story... He then chuckled and turned to see Reaver coming into the cockpit from the main lounge down the corridor. As he suggested some ideas and sat down in one of the cockpit chairs, Derga thought about one of them. He immediately switched on the COMM unit but for his group only. "Bravo, assemble at the ramp, pronto." He quickly switched the COMM back to the civ's ship, a evil grin on his face. "Alright, you want a story, I'll give you one...."

Suddenly he pulled back on the flight controls and pushed down on a pedal, sending the ship in a 180 spiral, going directly at the small civilian ship. Derga quickly switched to his single ion cannon and took aim, then fired a small barrage. Nearly every bolt hit, sending a wave of blue crackling energy over the ship's hull, and quickly disabling her. Derga then said of the COMM to Bravo. "Get the reporter into the ship, quickly. Leave the pilot. Leave a small beacon so he doesn't suffocate." He heard then saw Bravo Suqad head outside in their battle armor, luckily able to handle the vaccuum of space. They went over the civilian ship and pushed it along with a couple of thrusters they had, pushing it right next to a small docking ring on the side of the ship.

They then released as it hooked on and floated towards the ramp, quickly scampering back up into the Starburner and heading for the airlock the ship was connected to. As it vented air and the doors opened, they rushed in, welded the ship open, and pulled the reporter out roughly. They quickly shut the ship again and welded it airtight. They pulled back, dragging the reporter with them into the main part of the ship, then released the small fighter back into space, to drift until the officials of the area picked the man up. Bravo Squad then dragged the reporter to the main lounge and set her down into a chair, standing around her to ensure she didn't do anything stupid. "Good job Bravo." Derga chuckled then quickly turned the Starburner around and finally reached the hyperspace point. He punched in the cooridinates and went into hyperspace, leaving the Corellian system behind. "Now to greet our visitor...." He unhooked himself from the pilot's chair and stood up shakily, limping slowly down the corridor to the main lounge where their new prisoner was waiting.

OOC: Sorry if that was confusing. To clears things up, Bravo Squad went out into space in their combat suites (which are able to withstand vaccuum), pulled the small ship she was in to the Starburner's docking tube on the side, got her out and into the Starburner, and released the other ship back into space. Derga is injured, once blast grazed his helmut, melting it and burning some of his face fur, and now he doesn't have a helmut on so can be recognized, and 2, he got a blaster bolt in the calf of his leg, so he's barely able to walk. Hope this wasn't confusing too... Haha.

"Wait, who are you people?" Reaver patted Derga on the back."You never answered my question. Who are you are people? Some kind of military?" He eyed the men in the suits once more."Mercenaries don't get technology like that... and most mercs are not strong in the force." Reaver pointed at Derga's lightsaber."So explain to me who you are and why did you free these prisoners?"

Derga glanced over at Reaver and motioned with a single clear slash to shutup. He then whispered. "Shutup, remember whose here. Were gonna be letting her go, but I don't want her to have mission critical data. Now shut it and I'll explain afterwards..." He turned and returned his attention to the HNN reporter that he was walking to, stopping a foot or so away from her. "You were saying miss....?" He grinned slightly, though there was a hint of pain in it.

Cai wasn't expecting what happened next. The ship seemed to shake and the power went off. Creatures boarded, and Cai was dragged away. Somehow, she had lost all emotion. She wasn't afraid or nervous, she simply was there to get a story. She hadn't really noticed that this went from a simple request to a threat for her life.

She was taken to another man. He was obviously the leader of the ship. He grumbled and shouted, and then turned to her.

"Yes..." she responded to him. "I would like to ask you a few questions for our viewers to see on a later show."

It seemed odd as to how calm she was, none the less she followed the basic reporter routine. It was set to be a more interesting interview...

Derga's eyebrows immediately went up again, a mock grin on his lips. "Well certainly my dear, if you wish to ask me some...." He nodded to on of Bravos, who quickly pushed her back down into her seat and strapped her down with some cord. Derga limped over to a chair in front of her, sat down hesitantly and finally found a comfortable position. He growled quietly to a nearby prisoner. "Get me a med pack. Ask around for where it is..." The prisoner nodded and went with a Bravo to the med bay to get one. As Serga waited, he turned to the now tied-up reporter and said birskly. "Well your free to ask all you want. Just know that I'm not gonna answer anything, or if I want, nothing. You may begin...." He sat back silently, waiting for her to begin.

Cai nodded, her emotion strting to return. However, she knew her worst enemy was fear, and tried to block out her feelings. Secretively, she slipped her hand to her back pocket, and turned a tape recorder that she had for her special interview on Corellia earlier. She then asked her first question.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" the simplest of questions would most likely prove to be most important...

Derga raised a eyebrow slightly at the question. "Well I can't rightly answer all of that. Can't name everyone here...." He waved his hand about at the couple dozen men around the lounge area. "Though I can say my name... Derga Rem'nar. I know you have some sort of recording device and its probably recording but I don't personally care. I've already got 3 Republic bounties on my head and this one won't be much differant. Anyways, I came to rescue some prisoners from the Republic High Security Prison on Corellia. Kinda obvious with all the men around." He fell silent as the medical kit arrived. He quickly began bandaging himself up and applying what lotion he needed and such to ensure a good, clean healing of his leg and face.

"Well isn't that pleasant." Cai quietly mumbled to herself, trying to add some humor to the situation. She now knew she was dealing with a higly wanted criminal, one that recently broke more criminals out of jail. Cai had no intention on being the hero, at this point she didn't even know if she would be leaving with her life.

Yet she found nothing that compelled her not to continue. So she merely asked the next question, "What, exactly, are your intentions?"

Derga shrugged non-commitedly. "I don't know..." He winced slightly as he tightened the bandage around his leg. He then turned his attention back to her. "This was mostly to gain me more men possibly, and to give the Republic a nice punch in the nose...." He grinned slightly, his mouthful of razor-sharp teeth shown to good affect while his glowing red eyes looked into hers carefully, assessing. "I plan to also do more missions againest the Republic, so it best be on the alert, cause I strike from everywhere and anywhere..... And I mean that..." He grinned wider then sat back, waiting for her next question, finding this a actual interesting conversation, knowing it's purpose.

"So what do you suppose you'll do with me?" Cai asked, this time interested more in her well being than the story. It seems a rush of adrenline left her a little empty headed, and slowly but surely, she was regaining thought and emotion.

Derga eyed her a moment before grinning. "Oh, probably knock you out and leave ya on some planet along our way. Nothing huge...." He shrugged. "May have to beat you a little to deliver the idea to other reporters such as yourself to leave me be. I won't stand being followed about by reporters or people wanting some publicity." He watched for her reaction. His threat was real, but he always liked to assess people when he made one, whether fake or real.
