There was nothing to be done, he needed to get to the core as soon as possible. In a small apartment in the central district of Yaga Minor, a figure sat hunched over his computer. His eyes widened with each passing line which appeared on the screen. The man, more specifically the Bothan, could not believe what he was reading. There were papers strewn about the apartment, it was an utter mess. For the last three days, he had only got up from his seat to relieve himself.
Vassily Il'lya, was highly tempted to transmit this information back to the Republic, yet knew he couldn't. There were two main reasons for this, one was of course due to protocol. The other reason was, if someone found out he had this information, he would be a dead man. Protocol deigned that he have all the information memorized, and then on a single data card. He was to then dispose of the rest of the evidence before moving on.
He spent the next few hours, ridding the apartment of all the files that were lying about. Making sure each paper had been incinerated before finally moving to the computer. In the academy he had been taught how to properly dispose of electronic files so they could never be reconstructed. Wiping his computer clean took the better part of two hours before he was satisfied.
Vassily didn't have much to pack, for it was standard operating procedure, to travel light. Checking the small apartment over once more, he shut off the lights and made his way out of the complex. He would first need to make his way to the spaceport, and find himself a safe and reliable transport. With any luck, he would make his way to the core safe and sound and without incident.

Yaga Minor...
Grawn had never been on the planet but as he stepped off the Red Fury, his yellow eyes scanning the starport, he knew this would be a difficult mission. While the Dark Lord had claimed this wasnt an assassination mission, Grawn had no intention of letting the man holding the data that was so vital for this mission's success live.
The Dark Jedi's mask was off for now, thinking it to be to eye catching and attention catching so it was tucked safely away in his robes. He glanced back to see if his partners in this endeavor were coming. The Red Fury had been on Korriban the entire time, since his rescue by Lady Renata. Tracking it down had been somewhat a challenge, for the starport had sent it off to an inpound to be junked. It took about a few hours and he got it back, the group only leaving behind a few mind broken idiots. For now it would be the transport for the Dark Jedi.
While he didnt care to work with potential imbeciles to screw everything up, he refused to fail the Dark Lord even if he had to complete the mission himself.
(Niharus(sp?) is supposed to be group leader so im not sure how to proceed from here. Ill let another member post or something...i r losted T-T)

Nirisi stepped from the shuttle one of her 'teammates' had brought them in. She had decided on caution in this instance, and had taken leave of her customary robes, opting for simply her plain black tunic, pants, and boots. Her lightsaber was by her side, and she could feel the Force moving, ebbing, and shifting.
Power.
She glanced at the others, wondering what would happen next. The ferocity on their faces and senses were clear, the utter singlemindedness of all apparent. That was good. They would together well. She folded her arms and waited.

((OCC: Alright Tal seems its just you and me, we'll just go on ahead without em for the time being. Let me know if anything is not to your liking. We're kinda winging it >_>'))
Grawn's cloak caught the wind slightly as he waited for the rest of the team to assemble, standing silently in the starport. Nirisi had come out of Red Fury and now stood a silent vigil a few feet away. At least someone was dependable. For what seemed hours but were actually minutes they stood until finally Grawn sighed. "Lets go, i think we've waited long enough. They can catch up. We have a mission to complete." the Dark Jedi stated, looking back at Nirisi to see any hints of objections. Pulling from his robes, Grawn drew out a datapad, the exact datapad the Dark Lord had given Niharius. "For a group leader, he wasnt very secure of important items", the Dark Jedi chuckled. He had been an assassin for years, getting things that werent his was a skill he had developed as of such training.
Information scrolled down the screen as Grawn's exposed yellow eyes narrowed as he scanned through it all when the datapad booted up. An apartment building? He noted the location of the building that the dog was apparently hiding at. Where this information was gained and how was of little concern to him as he put the datapad back in his robes and turned back to Nirisi. "We'll need to gain information on where it is, but i know the location. Lets make haste and if you have anything useful to say, it can be said as were going."
The trip on the ship had been silent for the most part so he knew next to nothing about the person he was with. Grawn only hoped for there sake that they were of use and didnt damage their mission. Power laid at the end of this road they walked and he could sense that desire in his companion, a desire that all followers of the dark side wanted.

Nirisi stayed in silence until her lone companion suggested they head out alone. Nirisi could see both advantages and disadvantages to such a plan, but she let him continue. Finally, she said quietly, as they set out- "I do hope you truly know where we are headed. I have never been here before."
She disliked trusting the other, but he hadn't stabbed her yet, so some decency still lurked there. She walked steadily, keeping her eyes pointed forward. She moved with the grace of a trained killer, and she had no intention of lowering her guard. Her fingers twitched at the flap of fabric that concealed her saber.
She was ready.

As they walked through the bustling city, the code that designated the apartment that there target had been last located at fresh in his mind, Grawn turned his attention to the crowds of people here. In their minds, he heard the thoughts of every possible kind of person. He felt the worry of a mother that had lost a child, he felt the greediness of businessmen who's credit accounts were ready to burst yet the hungry still went starved. He could feel the anguish of those who couldnt afford basic living, there despair over how they would feed themselves or there loved ones.
It made him SICK. The Outer Rim was an area of little to no police activity on the Republics behalf. Policing was left to the local governments to dull out justice as they saw fit. However they could be paid off. Weither by gang or business, they could be paid off and thus people who had every right to a better life was snatched of that chance. Bullied by beings whom they had never met or even realized siphoned from them.
This sickness brought a cool rage to the Dark Jedi and his fist clenched, feeling the tightening of his leather glove around his flesh. The Sith would take care of all of them. They would dispense the justice that this galaxy so direly needed. Closing off the voices and feelings of the beings around him, Grawn turned his attention to his companion. Her distrust of him was well placed. Most users of the Dark side would prey upon each other to bring a measure of prestige to themselves to impress this being or that but Grawn had no intention of betraying his companion.
She would prove useful in some way. Flexing his cybernetic arm for rather no reason at all, his voice raised above the noise of the crowds but thanks to the Force, only she could hear it. "I sense alot of distrust from you, Nirisi. Some of it well placed, some not. Your hand is ever close to your lightsaber, ready to strike if i was foolish enough to take out someone that the Dark Lord had assigned to my group" He paused in his words for just a moment to let them sink in, "I can tell you have been trained in the killing arts. However, I too have been given such training. I will let you know that i have no intention of ending you, but do not take this as a sign of weakness. My mind can be changed in a heartbeat".
They both continued to walk until Grawn stopped at looked at a nearby sign. The number APA-812 was written on a holosign above the entrance, the number of the building they had been looking for. The Dark Jedi smiled.
"We're here"

Vassily had just exited the apartment complex as the Dark jedi reached his apartment. Of course he was completely unaware of this fact, and it was probably a good thing. He was considered quite an apt operative, but the thought of Jedi would unsettle anyone. Vassily had dealt with all sorts of unseemly sorts but he always avoided Force users. He had trained for years to be able to tell if a person was lying, these damned people could do it on pure natural instinct. He was a Bothan though, and he was damn good at what he did.
What I need to do is get of this planet as fast as possible
Though he had got no indication of anyone after him, he knew it was only a matter of time. He made sure to stick to crowded streets, and routes where there was sure to be some sort of police presence. A normal person would think to take routes where there would be a lesser amount of people. It seemed like common sense, but it was more like to get you killed than not. Killing someone in front of a crowd usually doesn't bode well for the killer, and hence they avoided it.
Vassily shuffled through the crowded market, neon signs lighting up the night. He checked the reflections off the windows, making sure that no one was following him. So far he didn't see anyone tailing him, but that didn't necessarily mean anything. The Bothan had a few tricks up his sleeve, some subtle, some not as much. Even if a Dark jedi was pursuing him, they would be getting a good deal of grief.
Still another fifteen minutes before I reach the spaceport
He was anxious but for the most part, calm, and in control. It was the only way a person could survive in his line of work. If you lose your head, than you lose your life, both figuratively and literally. He would of course prefer the former over the latter.

"If you think I remain watchful only because of your company, you are more pompous than I believed you." Nirisi said quietly, keeping her words, too, private via the Force. She understood the need for secrecy. They reached the apartment block with no untoward occurences, for which she was grateful.
She leaned against the wall, falling easily into her role of invisibility. She was completely unnoticeable- nothing more than a pedestrian, out for a stroll. Just then, a Bothan came out of the building, glancing around before setting off. Nirisi pointed him out subtly, simultaneously reaching into his mind with the Force.
"Thats him, I believe."

His eyebrow raised at her comment. She had a mouth and if she had caught him on a bad day, she wouldnt have a tongue.
"Believe what you wish. I dont have time for assumptions. My attempt at neutrality as been given, do with it what you will" he stated. Grawn closed his eyes and reached out with the Force like a invisible bomb, the radius of increasing to the point of covering nearly 1/3 of the city. From there he sorted out emotions, he picked at the minds of anyone he deemed suspicious and discovered their motives. It was a daunting task but as he leaned up against the wall of the building, trying to discover if the target had already departed, the girl spoke up.
"Thats him, I believe"
His eyes snapped open with irritation. He highly doubted that she could have discovered the fool before himself, his mind had been scanning such a large area that there was no way he could've missed the target. His yellow orbs followed hers and they landed on a Bothan that seemed to look around as if expecting trouble. The Force lanced out from Grawn and attached itself to the creature, giving him a link. From their he could sense unease, fear and the urge to leave the planet as soon as possible. The trail he left in the Force came from the building they were about to enter as well, somewhat doubling the chances.
How the hell did he miss him? That would have to be something he'd delve on later as he laced his fingers together backwards and pushed forward, giving off quiet popping of bones.
"It would seem you are more useful then just your mouth" he commented dryly and started off towards the Bothan. They could simpley kill the creature now and collect what they could from him, however that would attract quite a bit of attention from unwanted sources. They would have to wait till they were in a somewhat isolated area before the "interrogation" began. Just to ensure they would have a way to track down the Bothan in case they entered a more heavily populated zone then this, Grawn reached down deep within himself as they walked.
Further and further he went until he came to a dark mass. It sat quietly within his being until he tapped it with his mind. Two blood red orbs snapped to life and a snarl came from the mass as it began to take shape. Slowly it lengthened and appendages sprouted as a low growl began to echo in his mind. This creature had been his constant companion since his days on Korriban, a manifestation that only he could see of the darkness within himself.
The mass took on the shape of a hound and it snarled as Grawn beckoned it into existence. Without hesitation it sprung from his mind and began to walk besides him and the girl.
"Keep a trail on that one" he whispered to the hound that looked up curiously at him until Grawn indictated the Bothan. Sampson let loose a deep low growl and bounded off towards the creature, his intent on to shred but to keep him within Grawn's view. The Dark Jedi could see what the hound saw, making the chance of the Bothan's escape even more dim.

Vassily was pushing through the crowd, his unease growing with every passing minute. He passed one police station, then another, regretting not stopping each time. The Bothan was disappointed in himself, he was getting way too strung out. He was known for his ability to keep a cool head, its what kept him alive. Yet right now he was becoming more anxious by the second.
This is ridiculous! He thought as he scolded himself.
Vassily checked reflection in windows, and still hadn't noticed anyone following him. The Bothan's gut was telling him that he was being followed. He couldn't ignore the feeling anymore, turning into the the next police station. He quickly made his way to the front desk, approaching a drowsy looking officer.
"Officer, take me to whoever is in charge!"
"Sir, calm down, what exactly is your problem?"
The Bothan's hand flashed to his coat pocket, pulling out his identification. In retrospect, Vassily realized that if he had dealt with a more attentive officer he may have been shot. The officers jaw dropped slightly at the identification and quickly moved into action.
"M-m-my apologies, follow me sir"
Vassily was quickly led up a lift to the next floor and two one of the offices. The desk officer quickly walked over to the man sitting at his desk and explained who the Bothan was.
"So how can I help the security bureau today?"
Vassily quickly explained that he was most likely being followed and he had information that was crucial to the Republic's security. Luckily for him, the man in charge, a Lieutenant was a no BS type of guy and moved quickly. He quickly rounded up some of his best plain clothes officers and assigned them to follow Vassily discreetly. The Bothan was feeling slightly guilty for not telling the lieutenant that he possibly had Dark Jedi following him. He just needed protection until his reinforcements arrived, which was the final thing he arranged before he left the station.
The Bothan stepped outside the station doors he had entered, and then made his way towards the spaceport once again. Minutes after he left, multiple officers in plainclothes also left from various exits of the station. They scanned the area, looking for anyone that might be following the bothan spy.

(((Forgot i never finished this post, o.O my mistake. And Tal, you cant really see the hound, its more just how Grawn sees the Force. He can use it normally or in the shape of Sampson, whichever if of preference at the moment. If your avi is trained in Force Sense, she may be able to sense the manipulation but thought id just mention hes not so much an actual living thing then a manifestation of a twisted mind.)))
Sampsons red eyes glowed brightly as it watched the Bothan enter the complex and then looked back to its master that was several yards back.
"Well done", his Master's voice cooed and the hound turn backed to the station, not moving until Grawn came to its side. Mentally stroking the dogs fur, the Dark Jedi's yellow eyes were where the hound's had been. Behind him the girl followed but hadnt spoken for some time as they had pursued the Bothan who had made it obviously clear from the aura of fear he radiated he held something of interest.
"What are you doing..." he muttered to himself, pondering the Bothan's sudden change in direction. Looking up at the building, it was all made clear and Grawn growled. A police station. The dog was either running an errand or he wasnt completely unaware of someone trailing him. "Thats unfortunate" he said aloud, hoping the girl would hear him. "But it doesnt matter. We'll wait". Moving off the street and out of the crowd, Grawn leaned against the shadowed wall of an alley next to the station the Bothan had entered. He paid no heed to his companion but when the Bothan came out several minutes later, the time for rest was over.
"Follow my lead...this looks far to easy to be meant" the Dark Jedi detached himself from the wall and waited till the Bothan had gotten a fair distance before pursuing once more, Sampson going out ahead to trail the Bothan closer and giving Grawn a better view while maintaining a sense of stealth. Even with all this prowess...he didnt think something was quite right with the situation as he melded back in the crowd as they chased a partially unaware prey.

It would seem you are more useful then just your mouthNirisi sensed his shock, and drily smiled. "I saw him, genius. Yes, we may be able to use the Force, but there's more to life than just that." they set out to follow the Bothan. They continued to follow the Bothan, Nirisi simply following where her companion. She had no need to think- he seemed in full control of the situation. So, she retreated into herself and sunk into a semi-meditative state- something she retained from her Jedi teachings. It was useful, sometimes. The Bothan headed to what appeared to be a police station, and Nirisi silently moved with her companion to a hiding place just inside an alley. And waited. Finally, the Bothan reemerged. "Follow my lead...this looks far to easy to be meant""Obviously." Nirisi said drily. "When attempting to shake someone, make it laughably easy to follow you. The first rule of being a fugitive." She followed Grawn into the crowd, and they cotninued to follow. ((OOC: Okie day. Finished up, incorporating what you just posted. ))

Deep breaths, the Bothan reminded himself that he needed to remain calm. He had been to some of the most dangerous places in the galaxy and walked out unharmed. He had done so with a cool head. He was a Bothan, and he was the elite. Here he was sweating when he wasn't even sure that anyone was following him. Then again, that may have been why he was so antsy. He was usually able to spot people following him, it made it easy to mislead them. A quick turn of his head, and then he proceed right down the next street. ------- Officers tailed at a reasonable distance making sure to keep themselves inconspicuous. Some were excited, some were agitated thinking this to be some wild goose chase. The lead detective knew better, there was something heavy about this, and he didn't like it. A bureau agent comes knocking all in a fuss, looked scared out of his wits. Makes me wonder what can scare a spookIt wasn't his job to wonder though, so he pushed those thoughts for after this assignment was over. They had the route the spook was taking so they could follow well behind and still know where he would be. He silently cursed that they were on such a crowded street but knew he was being unreasonable. It was standard counter surveillance procedure to put yourself in a crowd. Much easier to get lost in a crowd than an empty alleyway. His hand drifted towards his blaster pistol waiting for the right moment to draw. He had no target yet but he wasn't about to be caught unawares. Scanning the street he spotted his agents and then something caught his eye. "I got a male and female, cloaked, at my 3" They looked real sketchy, he was surprised he hadn't noticed them before. If they wore brown robes he wouldn't have given it a thought, but this was different. "I see em.sithspit. They got lightsabers" The lieutenant swore once again. Lightsabers, out of all the things in the galaxy these people had to be carrying. He let out a deep sigh, he still had a job to do. Whoever that Bothan was, he had information that he needed to get to the Republic. Information that has sent two extremely dangerous people coming after him. That only hardened his resolve, he knew what he had to do. "Close in on them now, engage when you have a clear shot" A few moments of heart wrenching silence but then every officer confirmed the order. The lieutenant knew that he may have just sentenced all his men to their deaths. He muttered a silent prayer and drew his pistol. The officers closed in on their two targets, very soon blaster fire would ring through the night. (Ok two things, sorry about making them spot your lightsabers but I needed to give them a reason. Two, don't wait for me to make them do something, you have my permission to kill them at your discretion;) )

The moment to strike...
Attacking in a crowded street would give far to much attention...it needed to be subtle.
Unfortunately the dog probably knew this and was drawn to the street on purpose.
Grawn's yellow eyes narrowed as they continued to pursue the Bothan that had information that was vital to the Sith. If the Republic got it into their hands, it would spell trouble for the New Order. Not something Grawn would want on his slate by any means this early.
He remembered the cocky, self assured grins and smirks of the dozens of fools on Korriban. They doubted the Dark Lord, believing themselves more powerful because of mere lack of representation.
Fools. It is often the quiet ones who are the threat unforeseen. Not the brutish thug swinging his powers around like a caveman would a club. But Grawn was confident the Lord would whip the whelps into shape.
But for the time being, it was down to the matter of hand.
Assassination was unavoidable. Once they retrieved the information that the Bothan held there was no doubt his usefulness was at end and letting him live would become a liability.
Grawn had been well into deep thought when a tiny growl ghosted into his mind and his eyes snapped open.
Something was amiss.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" a yell erupted from behind him, sending the crowd into a frenzied mess. Some dropped to the duracrete while others darted away in the confusion. Spinning around, he was able to duck a blaster round and turned his attention to the speaker. A uniformed officer held a blaster pointed directly at him and the Dark Jedi cursed. He knew this was to good to be true.
"Girl! After the Bothan. I will deal with the trash" he growled through his teeth as his anger began to rise. He didn't want to risk losing the information over a diversion and sending Nirisi was the only way to stop that.
"I will give you one chance to drop to the floor and surrender" the officer ordered as several more appeared behind him, blasters raised and pointed. Grawn's eyebrow raised at the situation. It was five against one, just how he liked it.
"Fire!" the lead officer shouted and the scene exploded into movement and blaster fire. As the man had shouted, one of Grawn's lightsabers shot to his hand. Grasping it he ducked below one shot, using the Force to enhance his jump into the air over the others as they fired wildly. He could sense there fear.
It was delicious...
Landing behind them, he ignited his blade. The crimson snap hiss almost unheard against the sound of blasters firing as he spun the blade in a circle. The bolts bounced against the red plasma and shot back at the officers who dove to the sides to avoid their own weapons killing them.
This gave Grawn the chance to dart forward, his saber in a Shien reversed grip style as he leaped forward and beheaded one of the men that had dove to the left and had barely managed to get up from the ground. The head flying into the air, Grawn spun around and kicked the headless corpse that was still upright at his companion close by. The man fell to the ground, the headless body making his eyes go wide and seemed to paralyze him with fear.
Grawn's yellow eyes went to the three officers that had managed to get up and aimed their pistols at him. Thinking quickly, Grawn's cybernetic hand went forward and the Force latched onto the man who had fallen under his headless companion. Still in shock, he could do nothing as he was lurched from underneath the corpse and brought into the path of several blaster bolts.
The three remaining officers gasped as they realized they killed one of their own, but had little time to think as the hovering, smoking body now launched at them. Crashing into the lead officer, the other two officers eyes followed the leader and the body fall to the ground
Not paying attention to the reaper before them.
Grawn sped forward, his other lightsaber flying to his cybernetic hand and ignited, the twin blades humming as the Dark Jedi skewered both men through the chest. "Surrender?" the Dark Jedi asked, pulling his blades from the dead men that fell to the ground instantly. "I think not."
The lead officer pushed the body off of him and rose to his feet and began to fire his blaster rapidly, his face twisted in a mixture of fear and anger.
Amusing.
Deflecting them rather easily, Grawn stepped forward and kicked the man square in the stomach. Lurching over from the blow, the man could do nothing as the Dark Jedi's metal boot came up to meet his face. Flying off his feet, the officer hit the ground with a thud and lay with a stuttering gasp for breath that seemed to not want to come. Without pause, Grawn stabbed down with both lightsabers, the crimson tips piercing the man's chest and ending his life.
The carnage was over and five men lay dead. Grawn turned to the growing crowd, his hair partially covering his yellow eyes that danced with a inner red fire. The people screamed and ran away as the Dark Jedi deactivated and placed his blades back at his hip. He hoped the girl had kept track of the Bothan while he had his fun.
It was such a stress reliever.
Bringing up his cloak hood, he ran off into the nearest alley. He needed to escape the attention and find where the girl and Bothan had gone off to.

"Girl! After the Bothan. I will deal with the trash"
Nirisi glanced at the law enforcement officers, but kept walking, as if she had simply been thrown together with the man next to her, and had been forced to walk with him for the past several yards.
She was already some feet away when the snap-hiss of Grawn's lightsaber reached her ears. The next moment, blaster sounds came, and then...nothing, pretty much. Nirisi just kept walking. She had seen it all before.
By that time, she had turned a corner onto a street that was a bit less busy. She slowed her pace, and tucked her lightsaber under her tunic. No sense bringing attention to herself- especialyl not attention from that Bothan.
She moseyed along, keenly aware of everything around her, as well as the Bothan in front of her. She walked casually, and to all outward appearances, she was simply a young woman out for an afternoon stroll. Nothing else was to be seen.
But Nirisi watched the Bothan narrowly. Where was he headed? She understood just as well as her companion what they had to get from him, and what the consequences would be if they didn't get it. Nirisi had no desire to get in bad with the Dark Lord on her first mission. SHe didn't want to ever get on his bad side. No, she wanted to get very much on his good side. Very much.
She quickened her pace just enough to bring her substantially closer to the Bothan. He kept glancing over his shoulder. Before long, he was bound to notice that she was following him. At least, he would if he had a brain in his head. But when he did, he was bound to do something stupid that would let her get him in peace and quiet, without a great deal of fuss. That would be much better, all things considered.

Blaster fire and screams echoed in the night along with the footsteps of a very worried Bothan. Part of him was reassured, he had been right about people following him. On the other hand the sound of screaming meant that those who he encountered were highly skilled. He struggled to keep his head, reminded himself that he was a highly trained operative of the SBI. The information he had was key to the security of the Republic. Almost there, Almost thereBlood pumping through his ears, he barely heard the footsteps of behind him. Looking over his shoulder, he noticed a cloaked female who seemed to be quite interested in him. She was close but still seemed to be keeping her distance. He wasn't sure how long that would last but his luck would run out eventually. As soon as she realized he was heading for the spaceport, he would be done for. It looks like the time is now thenVassily had sent cops, though while fairly competent, wouldn't offer much resistance to a skilled opponent, especially if they were a Dark Jedi. The Bothan still had more tricks up his sleeve, many resources at his disposal. This was far from over, at least that is what he told himself. Quickly activating his comm unit, the Bothan made his way into the next street. "Identification" came a female voice over the comm "Vassily Il'lya A5939BY29" "ID confirmed, proceed" said the voice moments later "Coordinates 427 by 312, requesting package delta" "Request approved, ETA 5 minutes" His request would set off some alarms, but there was nothing else he could do. The SBI had assets all over the galaxy from overt to covert. Knowing that his hunters were skilled meant that he needed to a bigger predator on his side. Those that followed him would soon be in for a surprise. The hunters would become the hunted..or so he hoped. -------
Only a few miles from Vassily's position, a squad of Republic soldiers received emergency orders to mobilize. Numbering at exactly 8 soldiers, they were a deadly crew. Though they were Republic army, they were almost exclusively used in concert by the SBI. Their station on Yaga Minor had been relatively uneventful, it looked like that was about to change. Two minutes after they had received their orders, they were geared up and out the door.

Nirisi knew exactly when the Bothan noticed her. She started walking a bit faster, and her fingers found her saber. She took it into her hand, feeling its smooth surface in her palm. It felt cool and reassuring, and her entire being thrilled. Finally she was actually going to be able to do something. Her concentration came to a sharp head. She started walking ever faster, coming closer to the Bothan. He had said something into his comlink, and Nirisi extended her Force awareness out, on a mission to find whoever or whatever it was he had called. The time was now, she knew. If she didn't move now, she might not get a chance to stop the Bothan. Just then, she saw them. They had fanned out behind her, making no effort to conceal their presence. They wanted her to be intimidated. Nirisi wasn't going to succumb to the feeling. She smiled, breathed deep, then broke into a lope, heading towards the Bothan. She could easily catch him, without a problem. If only those silly Republic soldiers wouldn't intervene and make it messy for themselves. ((I left it a bit openended so Grawn could post. ))

Ditching his black cloak, leaving only his light armored bodysuit to cover him, Grawn made his way through the many alleyways of Yaga Minor. The whole scene and the mutilated corpses he had left behind was going to come back to bite him and he knew it. It was highly unlikely they would allow a brutal murderer unharrassed and walking among their streets. No doubt there was eye witnesses and many would go to the police to track him down. As powerful as he was, he was taxed and needed to recover from his display of power.
Pulling from his tunic his mask, he placed it on his face and felt a sort of self induced surge of power. This mask where he had taken from a place of dark memories only he held, had the ability to let him use the Force with little inhibitance. Disturbances were nothing and his concentration was steel when it was on and thus he needed it now to reach out with the Force. His consciousness spread out like a wave, in search for two people.
The girl and the bothan.
He searched for what seemed only a moment when he felt them northwest of his position. Opening his eyes out of his concentration, he bolted toward the fastest route to them. Bursting from the alley, he darted down the street, bumping into many but mainly weaving around the crowds. He let the darkside guide him as he narrowed in on the girl until he turned a corner and saw her, following the bothan.
At least shes competent, he thought and was about to move in when something pierced the veil of crowd noise. No longer was the chatter of many voices and people talking swarming his hearing but the sound of...
An airship?
Turning around and looking to the sky, a gunship was flying toward there zone. No doubt the bothans doing.
"This is getting annoying" the Dark Jedi growled as he watched the gunship hover over where the Bothan was. The many people inhabiting the street gasped and cleared an area for the ship to land. From his spot in the crowd, his eyes narrowed irritatedly as 8 armored people, assault rifles in hand filed out. Shaking his head, he sent a message to the girl through the Force.
"Kill him. This has gotten out of hand. Retrieve anything of importance"
"EVERYBODY ON THE GROUND NOW!" one of the men shouted and pointed their rifles at the crowd as they strafed and started to flank the Bothan.
At this point, his blood was boiling and Grawn could feel the darkness well up in him. It wanted release again, the blood he had spilled not even an hour ago sated him and his hands neared his lightsabers. As the crowd dispersed or actually laid on the ground, Gran stood defiantly with his fist clenched.
"Neutralize him" one of the soldiers yelled and all eight barrels raised on him. Without notice, they started to fire and Gran went into motion. Zipping to the left, he could feel the blaster bolts almost grazing him from behind as he ran, his legs infused with the Force and increasing his speed.
If they wanted to play, he was more then willing to do so.
The Force gripped his light saber and pulled it into his hand. His hand closing on it, the crimson blade snap hissed to life and Gran stopped. The blaster bolts came at him in a barrage but it felt as if time slowed as he deflected a bolt here and there, hitting civilians or hitting harmlessly to the ground. The barrage kept coming but he continued to deflect them as he gathered the Force about him. It came slowly like a swirling storm and he was the eye as his yellow orbs burned with red fire once again as he stared at the soldiers firing on him.
"GRENADE!"
One of the soldiers pulled a sphere from his belt and threw them at Gran, whom continued to deflect bolts until the orb was nearly half way to him. Deflecting one last bolt, one hand broke from the light saber and felt a wave of the Force. The wave tore the discrete as it flew out toward the soldiers but that wasn't the only thing. The grenade went with it and slammed into a wall behind several of the soldiers.
A explosion rippled out, engulfing two of the men in fire and sending the rest to the ground. Two charred skeletons donned in battle armor fell to the ground and the six remaining soldiers rose from the ground. Quickly there rifles went back to him and let loose a barrage of bolts once more. His second saber flying to his hand, in front of him became a spinning circle of blood red plasma as bolts bounced harmless as he advanced forward. Grawn grinned madly behind his mask as he ran at the men and Force Jumped forward, slamming his fist into the duracrete. Normally this would have caused a bit of pain but the fist was merely a conduit for the darkness within.
A mere foot away from the soldiers, the men were thrown off their feet and their weapons flying into the air along with them as they struck the ground. The impact was dulled by the armor but it didn't do anything against the Force as Grawn immediately stood straight as he deactivated one of his lightsabers and gripped one of the men in the Force. The man flailed in the air helplessly, "Wha- HELP!" the pitiful cry came from behind the helmet but the Dark Jedi felt nothing. These fools were his toys now, they wanted to play but they had NO idea what game they had begun to play.
Grawn threw the men against a wall, the helmet cratering underneath the impact and the duracrete structure spiderweb cracking slightly around the point. The body went limp, clear the man no longer breathing and Grawn's attention went to the five others. An amused grin came to his face as one of the men pulled out a blade from a holster on his back and ran at him.
"Really now?" he asked, dropping the corpse from his Force grip and turned to face the advancing man. The durasteel blade rose into the air and the soldier slammed in down toward the Dark Jedi. Grawn slapped the blade to the side with his cybernetic hand, sending the man off balance and giving him amble opportunity to skewer the fool through the gut. The hilt of the lightsaber hit the stomach of the soldier, who let out a cough of blood as the Dark Jedi glared emotionless at the remaining four men who made a dash for their fallen blaster rifles.
"I don't think so" pulling the crimson plasma from the man and kicking the corpse to the ground as his free hand raised up. The Force swirled around the weapons and rose them high into the air, out of the reach of the men who's eyes went wide as their attention went back the advancing Dark Jedi. "Such amusing toys, but unfortunately i have business with your Bothan friend" he told them. The weapons in mid air began to bend to the horror of the soldiers until finally they were beyond use and they fell uselessly to the ground.
The four men looked to Grawn, knowing that grenades were useless along with their pistols. There was no way they could avoid the saber wielding Dark Jedi but provide a distraction. However Grawn was beginning to become bored with his toys and thus no longer wished to prolong their deaths. Deactivating and clipping his last lightsaber to his belt as he walked toward them, both his hands raised toward them. Two of the men grasped their throats as the Force clenched hard, dropping them to their knees. The other two watched in horror as there comrades faces went blank and they fell to the side, there hands falling away from their crushed throats.
"Play times over" he said finally and surrounded the remaining two in the Force. Grawn rarely used this power he had learned so long ago but now was a time to end something quickly. Like a trash compacter, he slowly squeezed his hands closed and the Force complied, closing in slowly on the men like invisible walls. The last thing they uttered was a scream as every bone in their bodies were crushed and they fell dead to the ground.
The dark side radiated off him like heat and his eyes were a mixture of red and yellow as he felt like a furnace. A furnace of heat that was actually hate and rage. Rage that had been there for nearly his entire existence. He had no other purpose then to release the excess in a way to further his own goals and that of the Sith. He was tired of chasing this Bothan, he no longer cared about subtly.
In his mind, he was already dead. It was just a deed that required the stroke of the blade to make it happen.

When the airship appeared, Nirisi's blade was instantly activated, it's red blade bringing light into the darkness. People scattered at the sight of it, farther than they had at the approach of the ship. A blaster bolt came her way, and Nirisi easily batted it out of the way.
They came faster, but she effortlessly kept them away from her body, never letting them get close enough to hurt her. Grawn, too, was busy, and he seemed to be taking care of the soldiers. One of them came toward her.
Nirisis glanced at Grawn. They had sent the rest of them over towards him. Apparently, they saw him as more dangerous than her. That was a mistake. The soldier started firing, and Nirisi batted the bolts out of the air. She Force-leaped, landing right behind him, and speared him with her saber, right in the back.
He fell, and Nirisi glanced at Grawn again. He was wrapped up. And the Bothan was going to get away. Nirisi glanced around, located the Bothan, and ran towards him. People had scattered, leaving the area virtually empty. Nirisi liked that. She didn't want to hurt anyone needlessly, regardless.

The Bothan wasn't sure whether or not the soldiers had done their job but now he was sprinting through the dark streets. The sounds of blaster fire and screams echoed behind him but he just kept running. The time for subtlety had passed, he needed to get to the spaceport, and he needed to get there now.
Vassily could tell that the soldiers hadn't been enough. It only reaffirmed his notion that the information that he carried was of extreme importance. Yet it seemed nothing short of an army could stop them, even he didn't have the ability to call in that type of firepower.
Power...
A sudden thought struck him, he had almost forgot, there was still some hope. As he sprinted through the streets, he once again dialed a number on his comm device. Once again he was met by a calm female voice. Once again he provided his name and identification code.
"Requesting lighter, I repeat, requesting lighter"
There was a long pause before he received a reply, this time from a distinctly male voice.
"Are you sure?"
"Roger, delta has been eliminated"
"Roger, hold tight son" came the reply
The Bothan was only minutes from the spaceport, he was so close. Help would be here soon, help that even those Dark jedi would not expect. Vassily would get the information to the Republic, even if it cost him his life. His legs hurt, he was out of breath, he heard the sound of footsteps behind him.
Is this the end?
