ooc// Not a problem! Sounds splendid indeed. ;D //
Grizzelda found the woman's superfluous equipment amusing. Grizzelda had come to an understanding of what was needed, and what was not, and so found excess an object of hilarity.
"Kuat? I hear it's nice this time of year. The Rendezvous should be no problem."
It seemed that the Slipstream was indeed showing off. For in thirteen minutes, it was gone, lost into the 'nother plane of Hyperspace.

( Roleplay requests forum created. Your welcome to throw your own ten cents in their face, and especially to read it. I'll hold off a few days to see if anybody responds. )
"Oh, goody." Strae said, her tone nonchalant. She grinned, knowing what people must think of her excessive gear. Of course, Strae had learned a long time ago, that it isn't what you brought that you didn't need that got you in trouble. It's what you didn't bring and definitely needed that did. Of course, in her line of business, she'd learned long ago that most of the 'excess' equipment she had, would probably be needed in some freak, unexpected twist. Like, say, a whole nest of Felucian natives. Or a nest of much angrier, smellier creatures, Hutt servants turning on you. In those such cases, she always seemed to have just the right amount of explosives and gadgets. Besides, sometimes she just couldn't feel comfortable without 12 different weapons on her.
Strae stared out into the open space beyond, her eyes focusing on all the little stars. She remembered how when she was a little girl, she use to sometimes dream about those little stars. Planets unexplored, maybe! Ships, full of excitement! She had dreamed, and wondered, and expected.
And then she had gone and discovered what some of those brilliant planets might be! As it turned out, they were all the same in their own way. All show, with dust and grime beneath that beautiful display. And those stars were exactly what everyone had so sullenly told her they'd be, just burning balls of death and life. And those ships harbored no excitement, except for the petty and hollow deceptions dwelling within the crew. And her disappointment was probably a big factor to the heartless woman she knew she was today, bigger even, than the life her parents had lead her into. Strae knew what she was, and why she was...She knew how she was, when and where. She was Okay with it, though...She knew she could change at any moment, but she had a place for herself. She enjoyed her way of doing things, and she didn't want to change who she was.( Mostly *Because* of the way she did things, so different from everybody else. ) Strae Arhst didn't want to become a modest worker, a noble warrior...
But mostly, that was because Strae Arhst preferred all those ships and planets, all those burning stars from a distance. As a dream.
She turned her attention back to Grizzelda, though. What was happening. Normally, she didn't stay near a person longer than the mission required. Normally, she would have gone on her own ship and taken her shower and changed by now. Something was changing insider her, and she didn't like it. Nor could she bring herself to raise a gun and kill her pilot right now. Why did she have to meet someone so similar in quirks and actions, in ideals and thoughts? She knew why she was changing.
Because when you look into a mirror, you tend to see your flaws much more clearly.
( Hah! There's my first bit of character transformation, didn't really think I'd be starting it in just two topics, but I just got a wave of inspiration. Anyways, we should probably stop on the continued posting since we're technically done here, but what did you think of that last part? I think I may have gone too deep too quick, but I don't know. Oh, btw, has anyone ever complimented you on your writing skillz? Because my saying that their pretty good must not be a new thing to you. But I come from a forum of a bunch of kids, so you got my compliments when you made a post passed one paragraph. XD )

ooc// mahvelous! And hoorah for inspiration. ^^ Too deep? Bah, no such thing. xD And much thanks. Just glad to hear people enjoy reading what I enjoy writing. ;D // And now I dub this thread offically ~concluded~. Except for Zeth's potential final post, of course.
