The Rodian swallowed loudly and deeply as the knife point rested at his throat. He let her see his fear, but then just simply curled his sucker for a mouth up into a grin. She was a very good merchant. Sweat started to roll down his face as he handed her back the datapad and left his hand outstretched for the cred chips.
Huttese: <The shipment is just through that door. Let me go get it and I'll be right back. Did I say it was a pleasure doing business with you? Well it is.>
The frightened Rodian scampered back into the back of the shop and came back pushing a grav sled of nondescript boxes. He let her take the sled and took the cred chips, afterwards, returning to the back of his shop to try to control his shaking. Sometimes he hated this job.

Italia smiled pleasently and put away her dagger, which rested in a fold of her clothing, easily hidden from sight.
I'm glad to hear that. Here are your credits...
She said, then pulled out a few more credits of her own, and handed them over to him as well.
For your trouble.
She added, taking the sled and heading back to the ship. It didn't take her long to get to the place where the ship was docked. Italia led the sled up the ramp and into the cargo bay.

Kiriin sat propped on a crate with his helmet off and an electronic tool in his left hand as it sparked against the side of the helmet. He had been making some modifications to the scanners on his helmet since he left Italia at the diner. As she came of the ramp with the parcels in tow he smiled and nodded as she came into the cargo bay.
Well done there Italia. I commend you on your skills as a merchant. I do hope old Squeaky didn't give you too much of a hard time.

Squeeky?...
She replied, giving him an odd look and shaking her head in disbelief, before walking over and sitting down near by him.
No...he didn't after I put a dagger to his throat. He seemed surprised that "a weak girl human" could pull something like that on him. He expected you.

Kiriin let out a good laugh as he listened to Italia give his rodian friend a run for his money. He would make sure that Squeaky got a raise in his next pay salary. After all, he did own that small store. The Rodian he had saved from one of the local hunts and Kiriin being Mando'ade, the Hutts didn't mess with the shop. Squeaky came in handy when he needed to locate goods, whether it be legal, illegal or even rare. What could he say the Rodian had a knack for finding things. Kiriin finished the calibrations on his helmet and tucked it under his arm as he stood and reached over to hit the ramp control. He turned back to the girl with a perplexed look.
Well I must say, if that trinket is really yours, then you have the background of a Mando 'ade. Have your ever thought of taking up the heritage that was robbed of you? You seem to have the spirit and fire of the warrior in you. Would you consider learning the ways of your past and bringing respect and vigilance back to your family name?

Italia looked at him for a few moments and tilted her head to the side.
I would do this, yes. I have always respected the mandalorians, and to know that I came from their lineage, and that I might be the only one left to continue it....I would do most anything.
She sighed slightly, and looked down, thinking of her small cousin who had left Mandalor with her parents some 9 years before, and whom she presumed dead, along with her parents.
So far as I know I am the only one left.

Kiriin nodded vaguely as he recalled the carnage that had betaken his own family and settlement. He had remembered holding his father's head as he took his last breaths. He too was the only one left from his clan. The neighboring clan had been hit too and when he had arrived there after rummaging through the remains of his village found the same destruction. The only words he had gotten from his father was that there was a traitor among the people. Burying two settlements worth of people and holding the burial rites for his family had taken near to two weeks. During that time he had vengeance planted into his heart, but the only thing is that he had no lead on his family's traitor.
Kiriin had the desire to remake his clan and bring it back to its former glory, but he had to take care of the traitor. It was a hunt that had no trail. They had been careful in covering their tracks. He had found evidence that it was the Republic who had assaulted the villages, but with the words his father had whispered as he died from his mortal wound, he knew better. It was a set up, anyone now a days could get their hands on Republic issued weaponry, but that didn't dismiss the thought that it could have been the Republic. He let his reverie slide back into the depths of his mind and glanced at the girl.
Being Mandalorian is no easy path, but it has great rewards. It will be a long and difficult path ahead of you if you choose this. The first thing you must overcome is your weakness at not killing your prey. For you to become who I am, you must kill. Now join the hunt with me if you care. Fore, this offer will come only once.
The lone Mandalorian had a burning rage in his soul and his chest swelled with pride as he knew that he was on the right path in life. He would bring the glory back for his people and if this girl showed as mush passion as he knew she held, then she too would bring glory back to hers. He stood and donned his helmet. He grabbed the modified blaster rifle he carried on a regular basis and headed for the cockpit. As he reached the corridor that lead to the cockpit he let out a loud and bolsterous chant.
OYA! OYA!
This Mandalorian had called for the hunt.

Italia nodded absently at his words. She had little enough problem with killing, but if she didn't have to kill, she would rather take that route....however, only time would tell what would come of this new, and odd, partnership.
I understand the situation. Hard work has never been a problem with me. I will do all that I can to see that I become what I was ment to be in my life...and hopefully in doing so I can find my family's killers.
She said, following him into the c-ockpit and sitting down. As soon as she did, however, dozens of questions started running through her head: how did one learn to become a mandalorian? why did he always shout that word? what where they hunting...or who? And why did he offer this to her?
She staired blankly into the control panel as muscle memory took over, and they got the ship ready for flight. Sooner or later she would have to ask these questions, but for now, she didn't dare ask...she didn't want to risk him prying into her past.

I can't believe I'm still out here...I can't go back to Mandalore empty handed.
The Mandalorian was wearing red Neo Crusader armor with his helmet on. His stride was casual as he made his way up the ramp. The Mandalorian turned his head to look at the person on the crate. He did have some Mandalorian features to him. Whether it was worth the risk was another question.
After tossing it over in his head for a little he decided that the risk was enough. The Mandalorian walked over to the man and woman taking off his helmet as a small courtesy. After all they weren't the proud Mandalorians...at least not yet.
He had to be subtle about his approach on the matter, but he still wanted to confirm his suspicions. After all with a total of 71 members on the Justice II they were officially breaking the law as far as this Mandalorian saw it. It was only a matter of time before they were brought back to their glory.
The name's Durham, and how about you two?
(sorry but Yoh caught me in my thread so a recruiter will have to take my place)

Kiriin's helmet sensors went off as the ship's hull sensors caught someone approaching. He quickly went back to the hold. The modified blaster rifle was leveled at the door as a Mandalorian casually walked up the gangway. He didn't drop his guard and kept the weapon sighted in on the man. When the new visitor removed his helmet, a sign of respect or some may call it weakness, the blaster did not budge.
I don't know who in the fierfek you are, but we just don't walk onto other people's ships uninvited. State your business or leave the way you came. There is a third option, but you won't like it any. Hurry I don't have all day.
Kiriin stood in a fluid graceful motion and adopted an improvised fighting stance with his weapon. He was ready to drop this one in seconds if the cause should arise.

I can understand why you are hostile right now, but I have a little info on you Kiriin Radd. Mandalore made us get some information on some of the Mandalorians that...let's just say are getting their hands dirty.
Durham already knew this one was going to be a questionable catch. His blaster didn't go up at all to counter the prospect's hostility. His eyes continued to steadily watch Radd. He had indeed done some background on some of the people he would have to confront. Unfortunately he was still rejected by some of those initially.
Like you might of guessed I'm here on behalf of Mandalore the Unificator, and now you probably know the next question I'm going to ask...
Durham let the information sink in as he continued to look at his prospect. The Mandalorian was no doubt hoping for a positive response.

Kiriin hated these blasted so-called leaders. Once again, someone had taken upon themselves the title of Mandalore. No doubt that this one was trying to reunite the scattered remnants of the them. He scoured at the man from behind his mask. Information indeed was scarce, especially about Kiriin himself. The only information they would be able to gleem from him is the death of his clan.
All of you people are the same. Someone gets the guts enough to slap on the title of Mandalore and then goes galavanting around the galaxy trying to reunite us. Yes, I know your next question and I will not give an answer till I speak to this Mandalore myself. Unless this meeting benefits me and my quest, then I will continue to blaze my own path. Take me to him and I will consider your offer.

Durham clenched his fists in aggravation. The fact of the matter was that he greatly disliked his Mandalore for the fact that he was not like the leaders of their past. The would always be so proud in their efforts, and never let anyone make any kind of infraction upon their honor. Durham wanted nothing more than to serve under Mandalore the Indomitable or Mandalore the Ultimate. Instead he was forced to serve under this new Mandalore.
Still Durham respected the fact that Mandalore couldn't allow his people to suffer like they were an moved to reverse the acts of the Betrayer.
Then come with me, you'll meet him when we reach his ship.
His tone came out a little harsher than before, no doubt a sign of his aggravation at this prospect. Durham eyed Radd for his response.

Kiriin glared back at the man through his visor as if his look could kill. Yet, some of the modifications in his helmet noted the stress patterns in the man's voice and the small fractual tensions in his face muscles, when he spoke of this new Mandalore. Kiriin knew that if one of his errand boys didn't like him, then this so-called Mandalore was just another wanna be. At this thought the man grimaced and shoulder his weapon. He turned slightly towards his companion and nodded.
You may stay with the ship if you would like. She's prepped and ready to go. Unless you care to join us on this wild Kath hound chase. I'll leave the decision up to you, but I may have my uses for this new Mandalore.
The man out for vengeance turned back towards his visitor and waved him on. He kept his emotions hidden and his body relaxed. His family was betrayed and now he would not drop his guard until he rest in the ground.
