So, two very different levels of ability. Interesting.

Niman was a very complex, and simple form, all in one. It taught on the basis of philosophy and moderation, hence the name. What he would do today would be, as he had decided before, a crash course.

That means then, that we shall start from the beginning, and work our way up quickly. My apologies to you both, as it seems you, Knight Therin, will have to wait through these basics, and you, Knight Zalq, will have to pay close attention and focus and practice these basics heavily. You are both fluent in the talk of the blade, being Guardians, so you should both handle it well. Later, perhaps, as I teach Knight Therin more advanced techniques, you can practice the basics. - he looked at Xeirra as he spoke - And you - he turned to Elsie - Can practice the advanced techniques of Niman while I correct and keep up with Knight Zalq. Sound good? Good.

He had not moved from his Niman stance as he spoke, so he then began to instruct, moving and naming what it was he was doing, quicker than he would if he were to teach an individual. Hopefully Master Zalq was a quick learner, and hopefully Master Therin was a patient learner.

And so the instruction began.

((OOC: I'm not gonna lie, I'm not the most knowledgeable about Niman or lightsaber combat in general, so if you guys know about Niman, it would be appreciated if you stated the details of Niman in your own posts and such, as they go through the steps involved. Or if none of us know, we can just keep this really vague. Your calls ))

She knew it might be a little difficult for Master Cree to divide his attention between the two of them, with Xierra being pretty green to Niman herself and with Elsie being fluent in the form. But the differing levels of their skills, including those of the Master's, could prove to be interesting as they went along.

Though she already knew some of the basics of Niman and had begun incorporating a few moves into her knowledge of Ataru, she nodded at Master Cree in agreement with his voiced thoughts of how the lesson would go. Divide and conquer, Xierra was always a fan of that.

Then the Ongree Jedi got right into things, continuing on from where he left off before he had asked them their purpose in Niman. She tried to match his moves the best she could with the practice saber she had brought with her to originally spar a bit with Elsie. Now, though, she was using it in a much less lethal way, waving it in the air, focusing on technique and not anything more.

A couple of times she knew she messed up, not used to how the different postures and moves flowed from one another, but she knew she was gradually and gradually getting the hang of things much more easily. She didn't even look at Elsie to see how her friend was fairing--undeniably she was matching Master Cree stroke for stroke--but kept her eyes on the blade of the Ongree Master and its movements, mimicking it the best that she could. There would be plenty of time later to improvise, but for now Xierra wanted to make sure she was staying true to the original Niman.
