Ok, so Deceit, here's our thread. You said something about meeting up with others and trying to get a base plot down.

There was also something about getting a Pirate group to chase us around, that'd be fun and I have a pirate group that we could use thanks to Jarka Sharkal, they're called the Black Sun Pirates, I think. We'd need someone to play NPC's once in a while maybe to make things interesting.

Alright, cool. I don't know how your own crew chasing you would work, but it sounds good.

As for NPC's, I can play some, as well as anyone else we want.

And yeah, we need to get some sort of direction going.

Here's my thoughts:

Hsi Asmae gets a bounty, and finds out the dudes clear across the galaxy, so he needs a ship to take him there. He hires Rogarr Clawfere and the Stinger, who probably needs money for something or another, and they head off. About halfway there, they have to stop and fuel up at a waypoint, and a band of pirates finds them, and since pirates can track a hyperspace jump, we'd have to lose them, perhaps even getting into a small space battle.

Your character and mine would have to stop at a planet afterwards and fix up the ship however they can, both being ace mechanics. Then, Rogarr would finish up by getting Hsi to his destination safely, they'd exchange pay, and maybe even become friends. Who knows, Rogarr might offer to help Hsi with finding the guy and take him to his next destination. [ For a fee, of course. ]

And we can PM some friends to see if they've got any free time and can help us out with this. You've got to have some pirate buds who can join.

Sounds good to me, I might know someone that would like to join this little adventure but, I'll hafta make sure. Oh, and the Pirates aren't mine, they're Jarka Sharkal's, just to be clear.
He let me and 3 other people use the group to add a little excitement to the thread we were doing. You can look at it if you want, here's the links:

For some reason the group just split up in the middle of the thread, idk what happened I enjoyed it, but until the group gets back together this thread will most likely be baren up to this point. Ok, so lemme see if Hawk is still interested and we'll get cranking on where we wanna meet and everything.

Ah, Okay, cool.

And I opt for taking Hawk's ship, since it is larger. We could put the Stinger inside of Hawk's ship, I think it would fit.

However, we'd need to change the plot around just a tad bit if we're gonna have three of us. Hey, since Gryff, Hsi, and Rogarr are all mercenaries, they could have all picked up the same contract or something, and just hitched a ride together.

( Also, Hawk, if we take your ship and it we wind up having to take a quick repair stop, you should know that there may be repricussions to his reputation as "Flash" )

Oh, and that's cool Cirith. If we can get Jarka's group that would be amazing.

Now all there is to do is to set up where and how they all meet. Then decide what the mercenary job is going to be...And where.

Well, I've been thinking about how we all would meet up.

How about since Rogarr is relatively new to the Mercenary life and that's where I left off in my bio, that you two, have recently completed your contracts and are looking for work? Then you guys hear about someone hiring mercenaries on Tatooine, and since Rogarr would already be there that's how we meet up.

I agree that Hawk's ship should be used, it is alot bigger than Rogarr's dinky fighter, lol. Besides that'd give Rogarr a chance to play fighter escort.

Cool, sounds great to me. And since Hsi has a warehouse in tatooine with all of his droids, he'd likely go there after any missions anyways to drop off or repair his droids.

EDIT: Hey, Hawk, do you think there would be room for Hsi to bring his Spider Fighter along for the ride? It's my favorite!

It's called The Stinger, man I love this thing, it moves like one of BattleStar Galactica's Combat Viper Fighters, lol.

Yeah, i looked at the Stinger, how else would I make reference.

And, no, I'm not going to make Rogarr a Spider Fighter, it costs a lot and Hsi doesn't like the idea of his best creation widespread, and possibly one day falling into the hands of opposition. Not to say Rogarr would be the opposition, but if it got hijacked or Rogarr were killed...It's a one of a kind thing, and only for Hsi. Sorry. I might be able to make something else for him. He'd have to pay, though.

Whew, sorry I zoned out for a sec.

Gryff is more of a smuggler, but as a citizen of the Fringe,
he's not above doing mercenary work or even bounty hunting
if it'll keep him from drifting. Meeting up on Tatooine sounds
fun, and yes Deceit, pets are allowed so bring all the droids
you want, although your spider droid might have to scrunch
a little bit to get through the Thunderbird's corridors.

We've only got one IC post so far, and that's with Hsi Asmae to collect on a few bounties. I assume your characters are going to meet there. I say, we don't have our people physically meet up with each other for a few minutes, the sequence of events should start with Hsi asking for a job, then with another character, and the Hutt their asking tells each one individually, "Yeah, I'm gathering a few guys to send..." And Rogarr and Hawk both have their own ships, and all three of them are odd enough mercenaries to send, he decides to pair them all up, and sends a messenger for them to all meet and get acquanted, then report to him for more detailed briefing.

Its a bit more detailed and planned out, and will give each of our characters a little time to do whatever personal crap they want to do before they leave.

Also, Necrofear, I don't believe your pirates will be needed until we get to the topic in space.

Oh, and Necrofear, if you want to post with some pirates on Tatooine go ahead, the more stuff we have going for this thread the better. Maybe one of'em can pick a fight with one or all of our characters in Mos Eisley space port. I mean it is Mos Eisley, and it is known for being pretty rough, so do whatever you feel like and we'll adjust accordingly.
