Also, you aren't going to be at a distance very long if its a Jedi, (like Apillis said) the Force can supplement their speed, strength, reflexes, etc. So, basically, you would have to take her down before she got to you... and even a force based Jedi would be able to counter any blaster fairly easily.

There is one thing that Apillis forgot about the consular though: Telepathy. It is really what makes the consular so terrifying... because if they are very good at it they can simply attack the mind rather than the body.

And about grabbing her lightsaber as a souvenir... >.> I hope you don't plan on using it in battle, I know bobert has a lightsaber, but that was under the express understanding that he couldn't use it effectively: ie: no deflecting blaster bolts back.

Aye, its just a souvenir. If ya remember, his melee skill isn't high at all, so he wouldn't even really be able to use it in a fight with a normal trooper. And his beskar'gam would protect him againest the flames.... temporarily. It resists blaster bolts, which is a highly concentrated beam of pure heat/light. Oh and with him keeping his distance, I mean like he was within distance of striking but trying to stay out of that range... Like say 3-5 feet away before she caught up again, then he'd dodge/parry/some other action to not get killed. Anyways I'll revise what needs to be done.
