After arriving planet-side from his long stay at Alderaan, Jahn felt the peace of the Core world melt from him. On Alderaan, he felt in control he was the master of his mind and body. Here, at the Temple, he was again thrust into the chaos of the Galaxy.
By word of mouth he had heard of the situation on Kashyyk. Unsettled by the grim news of Wookiee slave rings, he felt it was time for action. If he let this to the Senate, where matters of enslavement where meant to be handled, the captives would wait months, possibly years before their case was presented through the bureaucracies.
Something must be done, the natives of Kashyyk were loyal to the Republic and waiting for the Senate would be trampling on the courage the Wookiees have shown in the past. Jahn felt a tug on his heart. The enslavement of a species reminded him all too well of foreign overlords on his homeworld of Tion.
Jahn had contacted a small number of Jedi he trusted. If would be foolish for him to try this alone, but he could not risk petitioning the council for aide. The High Council would be obligated to follow mandates and inform the Republic, this they did not need. Jahn felt as long as he followed the Code, he would have the personal approval of the Council members.
Among the Jedi he summoned was Council Member Vreem Took. He felt that the slightly unorthodox Jedi Master would feel for the Wookiees as he did. Also Master Elgriq. Jahn knew that the newly titled master had a lot on his mind after taking on a padawan learner, but the Master's knowledge of the planed would be a valuable resource.
Upon further investigation of Jedi involvement on Kashyyk, Knight Xero had spent a great amount of time on the forest planet. He too would be irreplaceable.
Every wise strategy was planned with more than fore knowledge of the terrine, he would Jedi who were not blinded by Jedi Politics and perhaps a little luck. Naturally Jedi Knights Draikwood and Sanemo were top on his list.
Hopefully all would come hear the fate of the Wookiees. Hopefully they would all be moved by compassion to act.
Until then, Jahn waited. He leaned against the wall, to the eye, relaxed. Though on the inside his emotions were wild. This was how he drew his strength. He did not suppress his anger but he welcomed it. To deny anger was to deny a feeling life gave. The Force inspired life and all its emotions. To deny anger was to deny the Force.

Xero entered the Jedi Temple, he had just returned from his mission on Korriban. He was wondering what he had been summoned back for, but he couldnt wait to discuss the events of Korriban. As he walked the long corridors, the memories flooded back. The good the bad, and the trying times that defined him as a Jedi. He entered the large circular room. There was only one occupant in the room. Jedi Knight Jahn Minraun. Jahn looked fine physically, but emotionally he was running rampant. Xero could feel his anger through the force, there was no hiding it. Almost a sense of pride behind it. What was going on? "Jahn are you alright? Whats going on?" Xero asked, confused as to what was happening "Why was I summoned?"

Elgriq sat in Antonus' ship in front of the Hologram screen, looking very majestic, His full, well groomed, thick, beautiful beard, his jedi robes, the Jeweled light saber at his waist.....
He punched in the broadcast code for The Jedi Temple Briefing Room, and immediately saw Jahn leaning against the wall.
Meanwhile, back in the jedi temple, The hologram of Elgriq erupted from The floor at the head of the table of the briefing room. The Hologram of Elgriq said.
"Greetings Jahn, I am Jedi Master Elgriq. I am sorry that I was unable to attend this briefing personally, as I am currently on Ilium with my Apprentice, Antonus. We are constructing his first light saber today. I assure you, we will be there for whatever mission you have planned on Kashyyk, I grew up there and i would hate to see the Wookiees oppressed further."
The Jedi from Korriban then walked in and quite rudely asked " Why was I summoned?" Elgriq simply looked at him and then looked back at Jahn, waiting for him to say something.

(OOC: Spoke with CG, said I was okay to RP a little. I doubt this'll be too good, head's pounding and I had to make some quick changes in places after reading Ashla's post int he plot thread. So, here goes.)
IC:
At first they were just rumours; dull whispers of unknown events upon the planet of Kashyyyk, at first Vreem chose not to believe them as the words backed the concrete support of evidence. Then he heard of the death of a young Knight who was assigned a mission on the planet, something completely unrelated to the rumours. But the mission was dangerous and Kashyyyk was a world well known for its wild creatures and hazardous landscape. So the two incidents were left unlinked by the council.
However, this had been enough for Vreem to take a subtle interest in the whispers. When he wasn’t training or attending meetings, he was following what leads he could from the confines of the temple. These words did, in fact, have truth in them. His contacts reported different information to him, but the core fact remained the same, the free Wookiees of Kashyyyk were being forced into slavery. The Jedi Master, after combing through the archives for information, had come to respect the strong, primitive and yet honourable race. Upon studying their attitude and history from the information the archives held, he came to believe that if the Jedi did nothing then there would most likely be an outbreak of combat. It would save more lives if they were to intervene, and quickly.
It had been whilst Vreem had just started to constructing his case to show to the council that he received both a message from a Jedi Knight and was brought into a meeting with the council where he it was decided they were to act and that he was going to be the one to organize and lead the party. After this meeting, Vreem turned his attention towards the Knight, who went by the name of Jahn Minraun, who was also concerned for the Wookiees. It came to Vreem’s attention that this Knight most likely had gathered more information than the master had, seeing as he would have both more time and more freedom to do so. It seemed as though the young man’s intentions were to act now, which was both good and bad.
Unbeknownst to nearly everyone besides the council, the Grandmaster was currently away, searching the planet of Subterrel, trying to get to the bottom of the rumours involving the apparent sith hounds that were on the planet, she had just managed to give him the mission before leaving. This left Vreem with a hard decision, let Jahn head off freely to Kashyyyk with any others he had most likely gather without his guidance, or go with them. Opposing them would not be a feasible option at this juncture. In fact, he felt that would be the worst possible move. After all, it had not been too long ago that Revan had made similar actions. Was that what he was looking at, another Revan? The thought made him shudder. So, for the interest of the Jedi and their future, he decided to go with them, to make any actions he had to, and to stop any from straying. First of all however, he was to inspect them.
This was all strange from Vreem’s perspective, he was not the strictest of the Jedi, he actually disagreed with half the things they did. That was why it had been such a shock to be asked to join the High Council. His unique abilities and ways were usually scorned and looked down upon by most of the Jedi he had met. And some even thought him a disgrace to the Order and held unjust grudges towards. He liked to bring up the fact that a grudge was unhealthy for a Jedi in his usual calm voice; it amused him mildly to see the varied expressions. In the end, they were just too blind, in Vreem’s opinion. True he utilized the abilities of the darkside when needed, but with the pure intentions and good meaning behind them, he was further from the darkside and its grip than most.
His mind was buzzing with these things as he weaved his way through the temple, stopping to return the bows and words of those who showed enough respect towards him to give up a few brief moments of their time. Eventually he found his way to the designated room. As he turned the corner, he heard the sound of a door sliding shut, someone else had just arrived it seemed. Standing outside the door for a few moments, Vreem heard the introduction of one man and the questions of another. It was after hearing these that he stepped through the door. With the dark brown outer robe wrapped tightly around him, concealing his unusual inner robes (also the dispute of those who held grudges against him), he bowed his head slightly, eyes darting between the three Jedi like the crosshairs of a hunter. “Good morning to you all,” he said calmly, moving over to one of the nearby seats where he proceeded to sit down.
He suspected that for most this would be their first time seeing him, although perhaps not. After a year on the council he had seen many faces, heard many names, most of which he had lost and never found the need to recall upon. But no doubt his appearance would surprise them, as a member of the council he looked much too young. There were only the odd few, mostly in the council, that knew he was not actually human but an epicanthix. The look which often sprung upon expectant Jedi’s faces also caused some mild amusement for him. But now was not the time.
Now sitting cross legged on one of the round cushioned seats which stood in a ring around the room, he continued to speak in his calm and smooth voice. “I am High Council member Vreem Took, please to make your acquaintance.” As he sat there, all he could do was listen and wait. He hoped this mission from the council would all go well. The last thing Vreem wanted was to be responsible for the death of a large number of wookiees.

Vesperian had been in his room, meditating on writings from the archives when he got the summons.
"Summons? For me?" The thought seemed to clear his mind of all other things. Only those words remained inside his head, as he looked blankly at the message.
Vesperian wasn't used to getting to summoned. The last time he'd been summoned by anyone, he had been practically dragged by two Jedi guardian's to face the council after he rescued his master. As he recalled it had been one of the most important and desperate moments of his life. So it was understandable if he felt a bit apprehension mixed in with all the other emotions.
It wasn't as if he had much choice in the matter back then. He had been young, and a year on the run had made him tired. Too tired to fight yet another impossible battle but now, now was different.
He tensed slightly, finding the straps of his lighsabers increasing uncomfortable around his shoulders. They felt constricting, underneith all the flowing robes he wore. He read further, scrolling down the page trying to gather all the possible information out of the text but there wasn't any more to gather. He guessed he would hear it all when he arrived.
Silently the maverick Jedi heading for the briefing room.
" Here we are then," he murmured to himself as, the briefing room door slid open.
" Sorry I'm late," he said bowing his head slightly. " I Hope I haven't missed anything."

Xero never did get a response from Jahn before the others began to arrive. A hologram of a man appeared in one of the chairs, he looked very regal and had a well maintained beard. He was busy with his apprentice, but promised to make the meeting though. Next came High Council member Vreem. Xero had seen him before, walking the temple. Hed heard many things about Vreem. Then Jedi Knight Vesperian walked in. Apologizing for his lateness. Xero was close to Vesperian in age, just a few standard years older. Xero became a knight just before him. Xero sat down in one of the cushioned seats, resting his head on his hands. "Will some one please fill me in?"

Elgriq still got no reply from Jahn as Vesperian walked into the room. Elgriq nodded towards him and said hello, and then Master Vreem entered the room. They had never met before. Elgriq spoke up
"Greetings Master Vreem, I am Master Elgriq, it is a pleasure to see your interest in this mission"
Elgriq looked ever so majestic as he spoke, and then turned his head sharply to Xero as he uttered more impatient words.
"Patience Xero, and wait for Jahn to start the briefing after he introductions."

Jahn's eyes slipped over those in the room. It was hard to tell he was disappointed or just did not take particular note of any gathered. As Master Vreem entered he bowed deeply. He supposed if it were not for high ranking Jedi like Master Took, Knights like himself would be less accepted by the order.
"Well met, Master." His voice was hoarse and sounded as if it had been a long time, even days, since he had last spoken.
Ne nodded to Xero as he crossed the room, his jet black cloak snapping after his abrupt motion. Lightly he sat in a chair he deemed comfortable.
"As you all likely know, there is trouble. Trouble in the Sith sort of way," Each in the room had likely had their own run-ins with the Sith and would understand his reference. "The Wookiees of Kashyyyk have been our friends and allies for a great time. Now, in this dark hour, disturbing news has come to our attention.
"Radical Zabrack idealists have taken a foot hold on the forest planet and are abducting the native Wookiees. I and others in the Senate feel that the Sith are involved. Needless to say, if the Sith are involved, credits are involved."
Jahn could barely keep his voice steady. Rage, compassion, fear. These were not the feelings of a Jedi but Jahn could not help gathering his emotions. Even now he was stretching his feelings toward the Wookiees. A paradox as always, for the feelings he expressed were not of himself but for the Wookies.
"Slavery. The most vile, unworthy manifestation of darkness in living beings. After much investigation, Wookies are being shipped off planet and being sold into what appears to be a Sith orchestrated slave market. Under the Rights of Sentience clause of our Constitution we are obligated to end this slave ring."
Naturally he had a plan for this but he wished to gauge and let the High Council member gauge the reactions of the others present. Only then would they begin strategy. After they all had the stakes clear in mind.
((Hat off to you Vreem, feel free to take it from here))

Listening to the gallant Knight, Vreem compared the facts presented against the ones he had found out. They seemed to be the same thus far. It appeared that, for a Knight, Jahn had gained a valued number of contacts, a number of which were in the senate as well, or so it appeared. He must have a great concern for these wookiees. His efforts and ideals were commendable, but not for a Jedi. And Vreem chose to bring this up before him. “And I assume that you have gathered us here today to propose we effectively end these events immediately,” his voice was harsh and cold now “even when the senate has not yet resolved this issue? An act of self mobilization when the senate has not approved of anything is dragging the Jedi unprepared into a dangerous game of politics.” He paused for a moment and looked around the room. “Not only that but you would be leading a group of Jedi into an extremely volatile situation without, I’m assuming, the consent of the council.”
Now his eyes set upon Jahn’s the determination set hard within them. “There was once a man not too long ago who did the same. Perhaps you remember his name. Revan took similar actions to do what he believed right as fast as he could. I don’t need to remind you what followed those preliminary actions of his.” Vreem stopped talking for a bit, allowing his slanderous words to be absorbed by the number in the room. By this Knights tone and cluster of confusion Vreem could sense around him, his intentions were quite obvious. However, it didn’t matter if he believed the same; it was his job to keep these people in line.
Vreem considered that perhaps starting off with such strong words was not the best, and he failed to leave out the council’s intentions for him to go to Kashyyyk. If anything, this was a little test. He needed to see how this Jedi would react. How far was he from falling? If the master decided to use the help of these Jedi, this one he’d have to pay particularly close attention to. Yet deep within, it was easy to see that the Knight meant well, he felt for the wookiees, their pain, their suffering, and although the path was not easy, he wanted to help them be any means.
Still, this was a serious matter; all corners had to be considered before they could make their move. The more secure he felt about the group before setting off on the mission, the more confident he would be on the overall outcome. For this was a mission with too many factors, too many ways for things to go wrong. And too many innocent lives to foolishly gamble with.
A moment or two had drifted by, giving the assembled Jedi the opportunity to contemplate both what Jahn had said and what Vreem had securely stated. “Before I say anymore I would like to hear this plan of yours, if you wouldn’t mind.” This would be the dependent factor, the plan itself would most likely reveal Jahn’s true intentions and motives, it would also determine if Vreem would allow or deny this Knight any chance of taking part in this mission. Sitting cross legged, he waited for the pivotal plan to arrive.

Geraic was sitting in his small and smug ship, fiddling around with controls on the main console, trying to get the visual connection together. His audio connection, however, was working perfectly fine and Geraic sat back in stress, brushing his hands through his hair but then, in the splinter of a second, he remembered that he must not distress. He swept under the console and pulled out a small baton. He aimed carefully at the console and smacked on it hard. Suddenly, the visual of the Jedi came up from the small desktop and the connection was made. He dropped the baton and sighed. All of this technical junk with the console and all it needed was a small hit. His face was kept calm and he looked at the Jedi who were in the room. Geraic's hologram was slightly blurry, being in the middle of an asteroid field from a trip to his home world near the mid rim of the galaxy. His hologram nodded and listened carefully. He hoped that they all understood his absence of visual contact and this talk of Kashyyyk and a slave trade sounded slightly disturbing, thinking of the innocent, probably, wookies being ringed around to become slaves. He listened carefully to all of the Jedi talkings.

"Master, your concern is well noted. Though I would point a difference between open war with Mandalorian extremists and ending an outlawed slave ring." He was blunt. Obliviously he was prepared for this on flow of Jedi diologue. "Frankly the Senate has already spoken. The Rights of Sentience clause prevents the mistreating of a sentient life on the basis of Specieism. None here would deny the Wookiees the title of being a 'sentient life form.'
"As Jedi Knights, and Masters, of this Republic it is our charge and duty to uphold our Constitution. Even when others are too oppressed by the greed of credits, Master." He tried to take the bite of his rebuttal but with a closer examination of his speech, any hostility was directed at the bureaucratic grip on the Senate.
"Quite honestly if we do nothing, with or without Council approval, we are betraying freedom and endorsing enslavement. Whats next, joining with the Empire? The Jedi Council have more on their hands than a simple Sith slave trade." He paused for a moment preparing for what was to come. Vreem had pushed at his conscious hoping for a test. Jahn could see through such second hand intentions but he would play along.
"Master which do you think the Council would rather be remembered as, stiff bureaucratic Senators or Sith slavers?" He sat back clearly not wishing to accuse anyone of anything but he was making his point. To Jahn actually going before the Council was a waist of time. He was upholding the Jedi values and the law of the Republic. Going to the council was an indulgence they simply did not have the time to sit around and wait for.
"We are all aware of the Jedi's precarious position in this Galaxy. This is why we will be going under deep cover. Two of us will make contact with the Wookies. We do not want all of the Wookies knowing that there are Jedi on the planet, only certain members of the Wookiee leadership. This is why those well known on the planet must not make contact with the Wookiees. We cannot risk letting Jedi involvement slip out before we are prepared to take the Sith down.
"After contact is made we will enlist the help of the natives to sneak the two Jedi into one of the slaving bases. From there they will be prepared to strike from the inside and gain a possible lead on Sith control on the Iridonian Government. We must sever that tie if it exists.
"A group of two others will collect evidence on the Zabrack involvement in capturing and unethical treatment of the Wookiees. This will be vital information in order to bring the Sith to court. We must have them legally prosecuted in order to paint them as the bad guys.
"Finally another group will make contact with the Wookiees after the first team lands. They will take a small force of Wookiees and push the Zabrack. They will have to keep the focus of the security guards off internal threats and keep them from collecting more Wookiees."
That was a general description of the plan he had come up with. He hoped the others would have something to add and he left the floor up for discussion.

Elgriq frowned. He had said his greetings to both Jahn and Vreem, and was rudely ignored. His hologram stood and then the Majestic figure of Elgriq voiced his opinion with much authority and confidence, being the oldest Jedi in the room he deserved the respect of all.
" I fully understand Master Took's skepticism, however I side with the decision to liberate the Wookiees on Kashyyk."
Elgriq paused.
"I.. am a native of Kashyyk. I grew up there, I know their ways. Now, they may not be so keen as to accept help from the Jedi. Despite their majesty, they are a proud, powerful people, and may actually take shame in accepting help in this matter, and offense by being offered help."
Elgriq now turned to Vreem
" I know one of the current Wookiee Cheifs very well.He has been my friend since birth He knows that I am a Jedi, but he would listen to me. I could send the wookiees into action, and then I could lead them into battle against their Zabrak oppressors. Then, the rest of the Jedi would collect evidence, and subdue the sith prescense here. I propose that we deal with this matter in this way."
Elgriq's gaze shifted from vreem to jahn, awaiting a response.

Sitting almost as still as a statue, Vreem contemplated the Knight’s words. Again there were many he agreed with, but there was his overriding urge to play the role of master once again. “Hmm, no doubt you the two events are different but the intentions behind both yourself and Revan are the same, and I am merely pointing out my concern at the fact this may lead to a similar path.”
Next he listened as Jahn spoke about the senate; it was at these words that Vreem frowned deeply. “I have to ask,” he spoke with a slight uneasiness, “have you been to the Senate recently? For you should know that decisions aren’t made in an instant. This is not a time where one can fly off to a world under the influence of the Republic, combat a species also under the influence of the Republic and get away without any political repercussions. In fact, in this situation, I am sure that doing so would cause a commotion from the senators of Iridonia.” Becoming more and more disgruntled by the route this conversation was going, Vreem looked to finish this portion of it soon. “You must come to understand that consulting the Council and the Senate on the matter is of great importance. I pray you keep this in mind.”
Next came the plan, and it certainly took the Jedi Master by surprise. He had been expected a well formulated plan, but what he hadn’t been expecting was the plan to seize evidence on the treatment of the Wookiees, thus bringing up a suitable case to present to the Galactic Court. “Perhaps,” the shocked Jedi thought to himself, “I have greatly underestimated this man’s judgement. For a Knight to think of such things, it is certainly unexpected. Perhaps… in time…” He let his thoughts wander for a moment before returning to the plan. And with a satisfied look upon his face, Vreem gazed steadily at Jahn. “I have to say, that is a well constructed and thought out plan. And I assume that you have gathered the people here who you have planned to fill these specific roles? I don’t see how such an odd bunch of Jedi could be assembled if it were not the case.”
Certainly, he felt more relieved. Forming the K.D.C. and constructing a plan would have taken both a lot of time and effort, and time was something the Wookiees didn’t have. Even though the Council had wanted him to gather a maximum of three other people, a plan of this magnitude required the effort of everyone present. Next was the turn of Master Elgriq to speak. Vreem was certainly most surprised by the Master’s comment, but with the man appearing older, the Jedi had thought the man’s backing would be with him. “Master Elgriq,” he spoke with a calm tone yet with a subtle hint of uncertainty, “I would have thought you out of all of those gathered here would appreciate the important facts behind my statements. I hope that it is not your connection to the Wookiees that cause you to say such things. I can see how your connection with them could help with the mission, but please do not let it misguide your judgment.”
Already Vreem had determined that this would be extremely risky; having now discovered two Jedi were willing to act upon their own will now caused severe concern for him. Perhaps it was best to hold off the information concerning the approval of a mission Kashyyyk for a little while longer, so he could determine the kind of outlandish behaviour he was dealing with.

Xero just sat there. Absorbing all the words, contemplating about the task at hand. If the sith were involved it would be dangerous. Xero spent a year on kashyyk, he was quite fond of the planet. He had made many wookie friends. He wouldnt sit by and allow the sith, or anyone for that matter, enslave the wookies. He looked around at the assembled Jedi, some he knew, some he didnt. He wondered if they went through with this plan, who would return? Indeed this would be dangerous, and he wanted to help. "Master, I'll lead one of the groups of wookies, Ill distract the security."

Jahn shifted, he did not feel it wise to send one so personally attached to the Wookiees. Elgiq's plan would work but he felt something missing. The Sith were smart, if contested they would be able to shift blame of a Wookiee rebellion on the Jedi. This would end their influence int he Senate and they all would be punished by the Republic.
He noted how many times the word "I" came up in his proposal. Jahn felt the pompous Master was not to be trusted with taking this mission, basically, alone. Though he held his tongue, he would wait for the final decision to be made by the High Council member. Surely he would notice the abrupt use of force in it.
He waited through Vreem's motion. It was well thought our and he did notice a surge in the Force from Master Took. He was a hard book to read but Jahn knew it would not take much to convince the Master to act. He had only to prove he had taken the time to think this out.
"Master Elgriq, I do have a specific reason to summon you to this room. The Sith will twist any action we do to harm the Order and the Republic. We must be very careful. I am asking you to take the roll of chief investigator. We will need your high esteem in the Order to prevent the Sith from attacking us in court. If a Jedi Master lead the investigation, they will not be able to pin a banishment on us as they did Master Bahmm.
"Jedi Knight Xero also knows the planet well. He and Knight Geraic will be able to keep the Zabrack moving."
He paused a moment, one of the points Master Took brought up hit him again. "Master, the Senate and Council must be honored but I feel that if we wait any longer not only will the Wookiees be farther oppressed, but the Sith may take farther measures to keep the Wookiees under control. We cannot risk this situation getting any tighter. We are champions of freedom and I am willing to place myself in full consiquence is the Senate or council takes offense. I am sure, with you aide, we will be able to humanly handle this problem without offending the peace loving Iridonian government and their Population. Only those accountable will face judgment."

Elgriq looked at Vreem. and bowed his head slightly. He was a council member, and he had to be shown respect.
"I... support your words Master Took. Perhaps I misspoke when I stated my alternative plan. It was more a hypothetical suggestion."
Elgriq sat.
" I shall admit that I am somewhat sensitive when it comes to helping the Wookiees, they are like my brothers. At times I wish I could help them, but you are right when you say that this is a volatile situation."
Elgriq leaned in to speak more.
" There actually may be a political solution here, perhaps we should call the Iridonian Senators out on this matter, and consult their involvement here. If they deny affiliation with the Zabrak slavers, then the wookiees could take action without there being any political ramifications. This is also a matter of the sith. Now that I think back on this matter, one of the more important reasons for us to be here is to eradicate sith operations in Kashhyk."
Elgriq took a breath.
"In short, I spoke harshly before, and agree with master took. The senate should question the iridonain government and we should consult the council before any action is taken. However, Jahns Plan seems very workable."

Xero stood up. He bowed to the masters, to show respect. "With all due respect, if the wookies are being enslaved... how much time do we have? Im not sure we should call out the senators on this one. Even if we did that would give them ample time to hide any role they had in the slaving. I think action is needed, we are obligated to help them are we not? I agree with Jahn. We are the guardians of peace and freedom.?" Xero looked around the room. "Sorry for the interuption, and my brash behavior. Im just concerned for the wookies." Xero sat back down in his seet, returning his head to his hands.

Vreem’s eyes moved like a bullet at Jahn’s uneasy movement. It seemed that the Knight was also concerned for the brief outburst of Master Elgriq, who had quickly realised his words and swiftly acted to assure them all. Vreem simply replied with a respectful bow of his head.
Things were starting to pick up, the others were becoming active in the discussion, and as they did, Vreem placed his elbows onto his knees and brought his fingers together before his face, from he watched, taking it all in. His position was… mildly uncomfortable. After a year of sitting in the Council Chamber’s chairs he was used to sitting through debates and contemplation in a much more gratifying environment. It was something he had to deal with. What made him more uncomfortable were the rising number of those in the room who seemed to want to rush into this without the consent of the Council. Perhaps they were all just lucky that the mission had been approved. But of course, there was no such thing as luck, merely the force.
As Xero finished speaking, the Master sighed and it seemed to bring some form of uneasy silence as he spoke. “As much as I do not wish to admit it,” his voice was loud deep and clear, quite apparent that this was important, “all of you are right. The Senate and Council both take too long to act on such important things. Having experienced the politics more than I would have liked to, I can see why both take so long.” He paused for a moment, darting from eye to eye, with a solemn face. “I regret to inform you that I can not aid you.” Yet again waiting for a moment, he spoke with a bit more emotion in his voice. “However,” the dreary expression soon spread out into a deep smile “the Jedi High Council will be supporting this mission.” Vreem did so much enjoy being awkward, he felt it was something to make him seem different; to have a little amount of fun was best to keep himself from slipping into a pit of depression.
His eyes fell there way, once again, onto Jahn. Linking his fingers, Vreem became slightly more serious now. “I do not know why the Force graces you so, but before this meeting I came from a meeting with the High Council. Although we usually seek to go along with the Senate’s will, we are not able to sit idly by as this threat to the Wookiees begins to grow. We, the members of the High Council, will face the Senate on this matter after it has been resolved. And so,” his voice rising slightly now, “I have been commissioned by the High Council to form a small group of Jedi to halt this. The Kashyyyk Diplomacy Commission, or K.D.C. if you will, has been formed. Now, this is where you, Jahn, come into the picture. As Master Elgriq has pointed out, your plan is very do-able and extremely well thought out. So, I believe with a little bit of fine tuning and finalization, your plan can be both successful and supported.”
Now he had said his part, his mind was set; this was to be the group that would stop this slavery before it escalated to the point of no return. But he still had a very serious matter to attend. “There is also the serious matter which you have no doubt realized I was probing you all for. Throughout this mission I will be keeping a strict eye upon all of you, this mission is already risky and the last thing we need is one of the group gallivanting off and putting the lives of everyone at risk. If I feel I need to speak to you, I will, just remember what is at stake throughout this.” His fingertips were touching again as with his finishing statement he started the next round of discussion. He was determined that they were to succeed.

Elgriq nodded in approval at Vreem's words. He was slightly disappointed that they would not have his presence at Kashyyk, but this also made Elgriq the most highly ranked. Jedi there.and he would do his job as cheif investigator well. His hologram crossed its hands and leaned back. Elgriq said.
"So be it, Master took. It is good to know that we have the council's support on this mission. I will arrive in Coruscant Space shortly to Join the mission departure, but now I must go and assist the construction of my Apprentices first lightsaber, It was a pleasure to meet you all, and I look forward to serving with you."
Elgriq turned off the hologram, and left the meeting.

If I feel I need to speak to you, I will, just remember what is at stake throughout this.” Again... where did he say he wasn't going... you might want to edit your post there.... and yes this means i read everything... cause im nutty ))
