Well since its been about a week since I sent out a PM, I think its around time we get this show on the road. Yet before we start there is some things we need to cover and discuss. So opinions are appreciated.

The first matter to discuss is with this many people, having only one thread would be a disaster. Which means we will need to break it up into atleast a couple threads. I think it would be easy to start off with a Jedi and Sith thread. Since Jace is leading the mission, I will make the first post for that thread and the Jedi can follow along.

Rugs, if you could be the sort of ad hoc Sith Order leader with Visari for this mission and start up the thread and kinda lay down the Sith objectives IC. Just say Iniquitous felt it was prudent to send you guys there or something along those lines.

I know some of you may want to have your personal battles between certain Jedi and Sith. When the time comes, please take the battle to a separate thread so we aren't getting cluttered. Chances are that sometime during the mission, the Jedi will break into two or three groups(threads)...so I assume the Sith will do the same.

I know this seems like a lot of overplanning but this is a major plot thread and I want it to go as smoothly as possible. There are alot of people participating and that means higher chances for problems. Remember people, RP fairly, I see any see any godmoding, you will get a warning...i see it once again you are out of the thread. Remember, this is going to be a Jedi victory in the end, so I don't want to hear any whining .

I also had a question I've been meaning to ask. Would it be alright to assume there could be at least one Jedi NPC in the battle. Cas and I have a plan to get his character to start building a lightsaber of his own, rather than using the one he's taken, and I don't think any of the PC Jedi would want to lose their lightsaber to have it dismantled a later date. Or maybe someone would? Anyway, would it be alright for us to throw in a random Jedi?

Yes of course. The idea isn't that you are only restricted to fighting the PC Jedi/Sith. You can write being attacked by other Sith/Jedi in your posts. I don't want people feeling restricted by such things. The fact is, there is always going to be an imbalance. The two sides will never match up evenly, so its expected to throw NPCs into your posts.

Alright, cool. That'll work just fine, since I think I'd rather do NPC combat than PC fighting. Then you don't have to worry about things become a pissing contest.

no overplanning....god help me, this is nothing compared to the orchestrated madness that was Sneak and Destroy @.@ and hell, that was a personal plot thread with only about 5 or 6 people

Sounds good to have one/two major threads and to then split up as needed.

Sounds good to me. I think too many people in one thread without some good structure would turn the thread into a tangled mess of goo. It would be a lot harder to follow continuity if everyone's separate battles were going on IN the main thread. I would suggest that if a battle needs to happen between two PCs, they figure out first who's going to win so that they can keep the main thread going and work out the details in the side thread.

Also, do we have any concepts of posting order yet or are we going to go on what's shown as the list on the first post?

As long as Cho Wroth gets to show up in the thread,....... anything is OK with me. I don't even mind being captured by the Jedi, this would give Wroth a new aspect of seeing the lightside of the force for the first time. As for NPC's bring them on more the merrier.

regarding posting order, we will keep it simple. Myself and Rugs will post first....then its first come first serve. Then when its time for the 2nd round of posting, we will use the order posted as our posting order. My last final is tomorrow so hopefully either tomorrow or Friday the thread will be up depending on how drunk I get

Otherwise, she'll probably just pick on any Jedi she sees first, ahaha.

Ok, so something just came to mind, and I don't know how I forgot about it. I'm going out of town (and country) for about a week to a week and a half next week. Now, I'll have the laptop with me, but I don't know how often I'll be able to get on, and when I can, I probably won't be able to post much. So, that might not put me in the best position to take up the leadership role for the Sith side, unless I just get the first post up, and then everyone goes to do their thing and I just post whenever. It's also part of the reason I'd prefer to keep to fighting NPCs. At least until I get back, anyway.
