This was inevitable. Not many would be seeking out help from a woman, and you certainly couldn’t go around asking if people needed help smuggling goods, nor would they trust a woman for getting a bounty job done that was worth the while for money. She sighed, it was not long ago that she was part of a good crew. It was fine though since she didn’t want to be with such a disgusting man that reminded her of the past.
So there she was, sitting in a cantina, just sitting there hoping someone would approach her in the table she was sitting at. The cantina was busy, so it was a good indication she just might be approached for a job. She hoped nobody would approach her about smuggling something, thinking she had her own ship to smuggle goods. She was only looking to join a crew and offer what services she had. She looked down at her table and picked up her lone drink of cheap alcoholic mixture. She was running low on credits so she could not indulge in more expensive type drinks. She really didn’t even like drinking that much as well, but seeing how bleak the situation was helped ease her worries.
She took another deep breath as someone walked by asking her if she had a ship. She shook her head no and watched he man walk away. That was money turned down because she didn’t have her own ship, but how could she. She never learned how to pilot one yet. She thought about maybe trying to ask for help in learning how to pilot, but from whom could she ask? She barely had anymore money. She downed the rest of her drink and placed it back onto the top of the table and sighed. She leaned back into the chair and looked out at all the people inside this particularly busy cantina. She closed her eyes and silently told herself somebody would hopefully approach her. Opening her eyes, no one had magically appeared in front of her yet. Tonight was going to be a long night.

The bustling sounds of Coruscant filled Shine's ears, a sound someone in his profession didn't hear enough. Looking at Shine, you'd never know what profession he was actually in, for his clothes told the story that was furthest from the truth. As his overcoat flapped in the foul wind that passed by him, Shine passed to listen to the sound in greater detail. It was normal sound, the sounds of people going about their lives and the daily life of a planet at the Galactic core. Not the sound of warning alarms as someone took a shot at your ship, or the sound of blaster fire going off all around you. Just normal, loud and peaceful noise. And Shine loved it.
He rarely got a chance to stop on Coruscant in between runs and most of the time, he was out doing jobs in the Outer Rim, far from many places that were considered diplomatic. In fact, he wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for the sudden brain surge he had a couple of days ago while passing through the system. Doing jobs by oneself did grant one more money, but it was amazingly difficult, especially on the harder jobs. He had spent the better part of the day weighing the pros and cons of gathering a small group of folks to join him and after much debate in his mind, he decided to go for it. And thus, his reason for being here. True, he could have gone to the outer colonies to find those kinds of people, but the one's here were of a better quality.....and were less likely to shoot you in the back.
Wandering up to a bar in the lower levels of Coruscant, Shine flashed a look at the guard, who glanced down at his blaster. Shine shot him a smile, then passed by him, knowing that the guard was only there to clean up the bodies and kick out those who actually caused trouble. Of course, that was after they had usually shot someone. Entering the barely lit room of the bar, Shine's eyes shot around the room, scanning the faces within. In a profession such as smuggling, you had to be able to read the situation and people quickly lest you find yourself on the other end of a blaster or in a place you shouldn't be. And Shine knew how to read people. He spotted one person right away that seemed to be waiting, her light green eyes, dark green in this light, daring about. She seemed to be waiting for someone, although she seemed to be waiting for someone to approach her instead of waiting for a certain person. She tensed whenever someone came close to the table only to relax when they passed by, her body showing disappointment.
Knowing he had a possible winner, Shine calmly moved over in that direction, taking the seat on the table behind her. He nodded to the skinny Twilek that was serving tables, then leaned back in his seat. Using a voice that would not pass around but was loud enough for her to hear, Shine asked,
"Expecting anyone in particular or do you flinch at every person in here that looks like they do work in the "under the radar" profession?"

When she opened her eyes, there was no one. This was turning to be such a perfect night. She contemplated ordering another cheap drink, but it seemed so counterproductive. The cost of two cheap drinks equaled the cost of a good drink. And two cheap drinks was nowhere near as strong as one strong one. Why would she waste her credit on a second one when she should of bought the better in the first place. She rolled her eyes and caved into her disappointment and ordered herself another cheap drink.
When the skinny Twi'lek wandered off to take orders from the table next to hers someone had sat down across from her. Jaheira refrained from biting her lip and telling the man to get lost. He was one of those decent looking guys that Jaheira very much hoped was not hoping for a bump in the night with her. That was something that was never going to happen. She had to hold back for sure though, because what if by some small chance he was actually looking recruit her for a crew. She needed the credits bad especially since she couldn't even hold herself back from ordered the damned second drink.
She watched like a owl, ever so still as he ordered his drink and then leaned back into his seat and began to talk. Was he criticizing her and the way she flinched? So help her she didn't give him a swift kick in the jewels just like she did her former boss. She held back though, much to the dismay of her better wishes. She gave him a small condescending smile before she replied to him.
"Actually, I only flinch at all these male scumbags that all need a bounty or smuggling job that they need help on," she said in a softly bitter voice. The Twi'lek by now had returned to the table with two drinks and placed them on the table. Jaheira took hers quickly and down half of it hoping the quickened intake of the drink would help let off some of the tension she had. It was hard work for her to play nice with men. IT was almost sickening, but she was doing her best, and the cheap alcohol was only helping a tad.
"It just sickens me that I don't have means to exploit them and make money since I'm not a pilot," Jaheira said leaning back more into her seat. She hoped that this might help smoothen out her first comment, and give off more what she was looking for as opposed to just brushing the man off completely.

As the Twilek returned with both Shine and the woman's orders, Shine took the glass in hand, swishing the white contents within. The Twilek had given him a look of curiosity when he ordered the drink but an easy wink and an extra credit had made her head off without worry. Taking a breath, Shine drank the entire glass of milk he had ordered and let out a sigh as the last of it disappeared down his throat. Placing the glass back down, Shine leaned back again, moving to address the woman's comments.
Shine was no idiot, he had noticed the comment about male scumbags to test him, see if he was one of those people. Had he been, it would have probably made him take off right away, look for an easier mark. He chose the words he used carefully so that he would hopefully displace her worries that he was one of those such people. Her second comment was very well worded, sublimely giving off her objective. Another test. That made Shine grin. He was liking this woman already. Keeping his back to her, Shine spoke.
"That' true I guess. Most guys pick up a crewmate for a job, then stiff that mate when the job's done. Literally or metaphorically. Heck, I've known some that just pick up random woman to "use" just for the heck of it. And those are the kind of folks that give the rest of us honest law breakers a bad name."
Glancing over his shoulder briefly, Shine gave the woman a quick overlook before returning his eyes back to the wall in front of him. She wasn't especially large or small, handing tightly in the average size department and he clothes were simple yet effective if one needed to move fast. And when smuggling, one had to move fast. Mumbling to himself, Shine ran through whether or not to push the matter. After a few moments of silence; ignoring the sounds the bar constantly emitted, Shine smirked a little. Well, he did come in here looking for people and he might as well go for it. What's the worst that could happen?
"But as luck may have it, I'm not like those lowlifes. If I'm gonna bring a partner, they gonna be a partner until they want to leave or they kick the bucket. And of course, that partner gets a cut of the pay, minus expenses for the ship and supplies. Although from the looks of the people in here, I'm not gonna be able to find anyone. I dunno, you know anyone who's looking for a long term job?"

"Honest law breakers, eh? First I've heard that one," Jaheira replied. She would of liked to think at some point in her life she would of laughed at the joke, but for some reason it took above and beyond to get laughter to come from her now. Instead she let a smirk play off her lip. It was the most she could do to enjoy the joke.
She kept up her owl watch of the place. Before turning sideways in her seat so she could talk more directly to the guy. It looked fine for the most part, she had her legs crossed and was using the back rest of her seat as a arm rest now. It was odd to having to continue to speak loud enough just so the person behind her could hear. Of course it came off even less suspicious since she was a female.
The conversation had taken a nose dive though as soon as she turned in her seat. Wonderful, was this a lead gone wrong for the man. Perhaps he had changed his mind. She turned away and picked up her glass and down more of her beverage before setting it back down. When she turned to look back at the back of the head of the brown haired man, she saw her friend turning away to face forward again to stare at what seemed like nothing. She raised her eyebrow wondering what this man was really up to.
An answer had come without having to ask for one. She smirked as she was relieved to know that he was what she thought he was at first. A potential crew for her to join. Although, she was slightly hopeful that perhaps the crew she could join was a set of woman who all hated men just as much as she did. Jaheira couldn't get what she wanted, and she was sure that if such a crew existed, then she was more than likely not skilled enough to even join. Some sort of Amazoness Clan would only take the best of the best. Therefore Jaheira was left with this man, and she only could hope that he wasn't as bad as her last memorable encounters with men.
"You know, I just might know someone looking for that sort of line of work, honest to good law breaking," Jaheira replied. She looked over at her drink and downed the rest of the contents. She was happy to know of work had finally come around for her. It was a way of celebrating, but of course the job wasn't in the bag yet. Selling herself, so to say, was not going to be easy. Jaheira wasn't one to have a huge repertoire of skills handy that would let her be highly wanted by crews across the stars.
"I'm guessing honest to good work, correct?" Jeheira asked with notable sarcasm. She rubbed her thumb up and down over the glass before finally letting go of the liquid holder. She pondered the thought of getting up and walking over to his table that just crossed her mind, but feared appearing too pushy. She took a breath as she was raking her brain on what to say. She figured if she didn't help cultivate this conversation then he might lose interest in her. Then again, if she pushed too much then she would of course scare him off.
"So are we going to keep talking over our shoulders or perhaps maybe we can both grow a pair and finally talk face to face," she said making sure to add some insult. One thing she knew many men cared about, if not all of them, was their balls.

As the waitress came back around, Shine ordered up another glass of milk, this time not needing to pay extra for his request. As she took off to go fulfill his request, Shine rubbed the back of his head, pondering the woman's words. In truth, smuggling was just one of the things Shine intended to do. While it paid the bills, it wasn't always the easiest kind of job to acquire. So sometimes, one had to do some legit work or even more illegal work. But it gave him an answer to her first question.
"Well yea, some of us actually do try to have a good reputation. Makes people more inclined to hire us and sometimes even helps us keep the proper authorities off our backs. For a while anyway. And at times, doing honest work puts food on the table, am I right?"
The waitress returned with his drink and Shine tossed her the credits for it, winking at her she headed off to deal with another. He caught the faint hint of a smile before she disappeared into the crowd. Being Corellian often had that affect on people. Natural cockiness. Focusing back on his conversation with the woman, Shine noticed out from his peripheral vision that the woman had turned to look at him, mentioning she might know someone who was interested. Bingo. When asking someone about whether or not they wanted in on something, first you talked about them in the third person and avoided eye contact. That way, if you ended up talking to the wrong person, you avoided them getting a good look at your face and could just stroll out like nothing happened. Some cops nowadays knew how to hook, line and sinker his kind, so Shine had to be more careful. But this one...he had a good feeling about her. You knew you had a possible candidate when they exposed their face, putting faith that you weren't a cop yourself.
As she made the comment about growing a pair, Shine took the glass and downed it, spinning the empty glass on his finger. Placing it on the table, Shine spun round the chair, the bar having the one's that rotated. He shrugged his shoulders and tilted his head to the side. If he wasn't looking at this woman directly, he'd swear she actually had a pair. Not many people at this level dared to insult someone they didn't know, lest they end up rotting in some canal in the sewers or in an alley. The fact that she dared meant she believed she could counter anything he did.
"Ouch, and I thought I had claws. Although I would rather you not grow a pair, not very attracting for a lady to have them. But anyway, tell me more about this person who might want in. You know, what they are good at, if they've done anything like it before, maybe a name. Basic stuff."

She had to admit, that his reasoning did make sense. It was still a horrid job, but as far as Jaheira was concerned, it was the living she had to make and deal with. Whether it be a smuggling job to make the universe go round or a bounty to take out scumbags, that was how Jaheira had to keep thinking of such things. She did a smooth motion in shaking her head to move some of her hair out of the way of her face and turned back to look at the back of his head.
"I guess that is one way in reasoning to make yourself all sorts of better inside," Jaheira said with a smug smile and an eyebrow raise. The reasoning made sense but it was garbage she finally decided. For their line of work it would always be a unrespectable job. It could never be for the better of anything. Even if the bounty was something as catch a mass murderer. In the end, it was still a bounty, and they would still get paid. Not that Jaheira cared. Actually, she cared very much. If she didn't get paid she would be very unhappy.
Jaheira turned when she saw the waitress pass by her again and stop by her new friend. She eyed the contents of what the waitress was carrying. Was this man serious? Was he like twelve to be wanting to order milk? She double took a elevator look of the man, but it was hard to tell when he was seated down. She still could assume he was taller than her at least, but heavens knew that some children were gifted in the magical height genes. She hoped this man was serious, or had some sort of alcohol in that beverage, or else she'd have to go search for some cookies for this fella.
Jaheira instead just watched silently though, no cookies involved. She watch the liquid disappear which eventually led to the man turning around and facing her. She kept her face blank as she finally got a look at his face. His eyes had a color that made her feel like he was gazing at her with purpose. Very cat like, but Jaheira finally brushed off the unease from the inside quickly. It was nice to finally talk to face to face and his reply only made her grin smuggly.
"Attractiveness is the last of my worries," Jaheira replied. There was a time when that was not true, but that was in the past and only made her weak. Those memories were in the boiler room waiting to be forgotten, no use in remembering them again.
As for replying to the rest of his comments, Jaheira felt uneasy again. She didn't have an impressive resume, nor had she been working for about a year or so and she didn't have much to offer. She took a deep breath, looked up at the ceiling as if looking for some inspiration and then looked sternly back at the golden eyed man.
"Well, skilled in observations of liars, pricing, and negotiations were her previous job, among being trained in sniping for a year for those more," Jaheira paused trying to think of a good word to use. "Honest hard workings," she finished making sure to put more emphasis on the honest part. Her little smug grin returned to her face. Although she wasn't feeling too smug to be honest. Here she was, a practically once again poor woman on the verge of having to seek way back home to father dearest. She actually would rather shoot herself before going home, and that seemed much more likely to happening as well. Hope sat before her though currently, and that was all she had to give him for information. What a joke, Jaheira, good luck.

As the woman listed off her qualifications, Shine's body was still, his eyes focused on her, yet fully aware of his surroundings as well. He could hear everything, pick out only the sounds he wanted to hear. And right now, it was her voice. As she gave a fairly brief resume, Shine ran them through his mind. Being able to spot a liar was something even he could do, something he had to be able to do. Still, it was expected that the people he chose would be able to do it as well. Negotiating the details of a deal would come in handy, but again, Shine could do that as well. What caught his attention was the last part, about being trained as a sniper. Shine was no slouch with a blaster, but when it came down to it, he was a better straight up fighter. Having someone along who could provide long range support would be handy when a deal went sour.
After considering this in his head, Shine's eyes relaxed, a grin passing across his face. A long range support. It was a good start. Ushering the waitress over, he asked her to bring the woman another of the drink she had, and to bring him the same as well, but this time to add the house special. He had noticed her earlier glance at his choice of drink, noticed the brief flash of confusion at why he chose it. He'd also noticed how she had hesitated before telling him what she was good at, breaking the eye contact she had started. Shame perhaps? Did she fear rejection if she didn't have a resume that made her look impressive? If Shine had been anyone else, that might have mattered. But what mattered in his opinion was what you could do, not what you couldn't. There was always room to learn more and sometimes the one thing that you were good at made the difference in the end.
As the waitress returned with their drinks, Shine took them, and handed the woman's drink to her. Clearing his throat, Shine took a sip of his drink and flinched a little as he tasted the extra ingredient he had asked for. Shine disapproved of alcohol, but could drink it if he needed too. It didn't seem to affect him like it did others, so it always tasted bitter to him. But for this occasion, he guessed having some would make things go along smoother.
"Well, that's not a very long list of skills she's got there. But, as my father used to say, "It matters not what a person can't do. Find what you can do and be proud of it." So as long as that person believes in what they can do, I'll gladly welcome them aboard by ship."
Giving her a quick grin, Shine decided to stop beating around the bush about the job.
"Well, I do believe I've played cat and mouse about this long enough. I'm Shine, Shine Albartos. I fly a ship called the Black Cat and I came here looking to build myself a crew for her. But I'm sure you guessed that already. And I wouldn't mind adding you to the roster, if you want in Ms...?"

Oddly enough his encouraging words had no effect on Jaheira. They were nice and dandy and all, and she would of loved to have fluffy happy things surround her as they made sense to her, but that wasn't the case. Jaheira didn't believe much in her abilities. She used what abilities she had to work, but the things her last crew said she was good at, such a sniping, was stuff she sort of hated doing. She was even making her self a bit sick thinking about her previous sniping experience and how she ended up like she always does. Paying the porcelain gods her tribute for use of her skills.
She took a deep breath and listened to him continue on even after she didn't give him a response to his first comment about welcoming them aboard his ship. Finally what she wanted to hear. Stopping the foreplay and getting down and dirty. Of course this wasn't a sexual matter thought, nor would she ever wish to find her in such a situation. It was safe to say she doesn't wish to ever have sex ever again, but enough of her thinking off topic.
She narrowed her eyes at Shine momentarily. She wanted to examine him a bit, to ensure he wasn't just fishing her out somehow. Was he uncover authority of some sort? She didn't recall her ever getting her name thrown out on the wanted list anytime recently. She was one to always work in the shadows behind her crew leader, so her name was definitely not wandering around on the lips of authorities.
"Call me Jaheira. Drop the Ms. That's only for respectable women," she said in a bit of a challenging manner. She grinned though full of confidence and a bit of edginess. She wasn't the sweet little teenager anymore, and now she even has abandoned her womanhood in a sense as well. Her grinning was also in relief, though she wouldn't admit it. This Shine Albartos was giving her a break in life that she needed once again before she was about to take the blaster to herself.
"That aside, I guess I don't mind working under the name of the Black Cat or Shine Albartos," Jaheira said in a bit of a indifferent tone. She didn't want him to know her desperation for a crew, but she wouldn't going to continue the whole cat and mouse chase and have him give up on her. Instead she tried to aim for an in between.

Shine chuckled as Jaheira's eyes glared at him for a moment. It was a glare he had seen before, often in the eyes of those who hired him for a job. Probing eyes, trying to see if he was a fraud trying to con her. Very good. Although she would have to work on it a little, the eye glare tended to give clients the wrong idea sometimes. Overlook without giving yourself away. But the fact that she knew to try meant at least she wasn't an amateur.
The name Jaheira didn't ring any bells to him though. That itself was good as well, meant she probably didn't have any heat on here that made the news. It was a good thing to pick up good people, bad to pick up ones that had major heat on them from the wrong kind of people. If she did have personal problems or someone on her tail, Shine would deal with that when the time came. Live life in the now, worry about the later later.
"Well, I was raised to treat women with respect at all times, but I won't disrespect their wishes. So if Jaheira is what you want to be addressed as, then so it shall be. And I'll take that as a yes to joining up. Welcome aboard. Would you like another drink or would you prefer to see my baby?"
Standing up, he put his hand out, palm up. It was an invitation to be helped up and a handshake all rolled into one package. Despite what she thought about herself, he wouldn't completely forget how he was raised. Nothing could drill that out of him.

Jaheira raised a brow at the man and his insistence on being quite the gentleman. She just gave him a smirk but in her mind she believed it to be all total bull crap. In her mind she could never believe that such a gentleman existed. She thought that while Shine was being this 'gentleman' he was still like her. An outlaw, the fringe of the galaxy, someone who did not make an 'honest' to good living.
She looked at his hand then back to her drink. Once again the subject of gentleman actions continued to debate itself in her mind. That was getting old though, she snatched her drink up off the table and brought it up to her lips. She tilted her head back and downed the liquid all at once before straightening back up. She raised her brow at his outreached hand. There was no way she was going to play womanly. No offence to him, but it was against everything she believed now.
The glass her drink once resided in was instead placed on his hand. Jaheira meanwhile stood up and adjusted her clothes a bit from being scrunched up from sitting so long. It wasn't so much for appearance but rather because the wrinkles were causing an uncomfortable feeling along her back. She turned and faced Shine. Turned out he was taller than her. She chuckled a bit at remembering her past thoughts on questioning Shine's age. Apparently that was much of a matter now. She witnessed him handle his alcohol, and now his height was examined. Enough of that though. "I guess onward to The Black Kitten," she said in a sarcastic manner, but with a light tone and a coy smile toward Shine.

(OCC- sorry for being late)
Coruscant was the same as always at least it seemed to Ryver. Tho Taym could tell the new buildings from the older ones. Now.... Ryver cared even less the split of the team was a quick one. Je'Baru would not let the hutt's disgracing Reina go with out some sort of payment in kind. Ryver never under stood honor of that sort.
Now they were once again on planet side with out a way off. Taym was to generous about giving Reina the ship. Now they had to find transport off-world even if it ment going as cargo of a smuggler crew. As Taym scanned the data dump of the Jedi temple's garbage files, Ryver made their way to a cantina of known runners.
This cantina had no droid detectors which was a good thing. No need giving away what they were before meeting anyone. Ryver dressed them selves in the tattered and minor burnt Jedi like robes. She always felt it better to fully hide them selves in this way. It also was a greater benefit to hide the the two M-61's straped to their back. Walking through the doors and half way of the bar Ryver's scanners picked up on two beings one female and one male who's drinking habits had attracted the attention of a few of the more unsavory beings.
The two had just rose to walk out of the bar when Ryver asked....
Mind if I ask are you going off world? I am in need of transport off world to any where, and ........ all I request is a place in the hold.

Watching as Jaheira got to her feet, Shine chuckled a little when she put her empty glass into his outstretched hand instead. Looking at her standing, Shine saw she was just a little smaller than him, but only by maybe half a foot. Giving her a little nod, Shine waved to the waitress as she was passing by, placing the empty glasses on her plate. Placing a few extra credits as a tip, Shine gave her a wink and a smile, which sent her off grinning a little as well. Turning back to Jaheira, Shine gave a little shrug, knowing that might make him seem a little untrustworthy.
"Uh, sorry, Corellian blood. But alright, I'll take you to her. The Cat's docked a level above us, but we'll have to take a long route to get to it because of repair guys working on several sections. But let's not waste time, let's hit the trail."
As Shine turned to leave, someone impeded his path. This someone wore a large robe, something that Shine once saw on a Jedi. But would a Jedi come down here? And ask for passage on the ship, even in the cargo? Then again, maybe the Jedi wanted to remain discreet, perhaps for a mission. Suddenly, Shine's attention was drawn to a strange sound coming from the person as they approached. It was a sound unique from the rest of bar, a sound Shine could swear he'd heard before. Then it hit him. The sound of servos when a machine was moving. Then did that mean the being in front of him was a droid? Shine let that idea sink in and finally, came to one conclusion. Interesting.
"Well, I was planning on sticking around a while longer to pick up some supplies, and possibly some other things while I'm at it. But if you don't mind waiting around for a few days, I wouldn't mind taking you along to whatever place you need to go. And don't worry, I won't put you in the cargo like most people would do with a droid, your welcome to have one of the extra rooms on the Cat. I'm Shine by the way. Do you have a name, or a designation number I can address you by?"

Jaheira watched as Shine waved the waitress over. She wondered if he was going to buy her that extra drink anyway. If this was some way for him to try to get lucky with her by getting her drunk then the shit was going to hit the fan real quick. Jaheira smirked in disbelief though when she saw the obvious flirting going on between Shine and the waitress. He sent the waitress off in a complete tizzy which made Jaheira want to barf her insides out.
She didn't understand how girls could act like that. Maybe at one time in her life she did recall being like that girl. Jaheira wasn't that girl anymore, nor did she relate to those past feelings. They sort of confused her now, and she didn't remember much either. It was like as soon as the incident happened that was the new starting point of all her memories.
She shook off such annoying and troubling thoughts. No need to get all sorts emotional in front of her new employer. She began to take a step forward when she saw Shine turn around but stopped abruptly when she saw he wasn't moving forward. She could see someone blocking the way, but figured it to be a passerby. When after a moment she saw no movements she crossed her arms and walked around to Shine's side to see what the deal was. Apparently this person was wanting to travel with them. This reminded Jaheira of herself when she first was looking for passage to another planet. She wished the guy luck, but knew this was all on him and continued to watch how the scene before her played out. She was in no mood in trying to help him out, even if she once experienced that position.

Taym was the first to speak up. With a less angry tone and a few octives lower Taym replyed.....
We are Ryver/Taym. I'm an droid engineer and my body buddy is a new type of AI made for military encoursions. We were this garb for many reasons one of which is our droid body type. Sith Assassin type droid female model. This also hides our other features of which we will not go further into.
At this Ryver took over.
Where ever you are going we will follow. I don't want to send my self by post like the last time. Dang slow postal system when we got to where we were going all the fighting was over. We will not be left behind again.
Ryver finalized the comment with her raising her right hand and made a fist. The robe slide backward reveiling their clintched fist and the arm blasters.

Shine rose an eyebrow at Ryver/Taym when he heard the two distinct voices, Shine guessed it would prefer female as its gender due to its body shape, emit from her. A droid with split personalities? Well, that was something one didn't run into everyday, although if there was one place one could run into one, it would be hear in the bottom pits of Coruscant. He didn't even bother to hold back the laugh he suddenly had when she mentioned being sent by post. His mind took that image and produced it, making him chuckle. Covering his mouth and shaking it off, he noticed that Jaheira had moved up to his side, watching Ryver/Taym with curiosity in her eyes.
"Heh, sorry about that, but picturing a droid designed for combat stuck in with the mail struck my funny bone. But so long as your alright with it, your welcome to stick around with us until you find a place you want to be let off. But your gonna have to earn your passage, just like the others will. And if it's alright, I'd like to call you Ryta instead of Ryver/Taym. Easier to say. Aside from that, welcome aboard. I'll leave my companion here to introduce herself while we head for the ship. After you ladies."
As he finished his last words, he put his arm out, gesturing for them to take the lead out of the bar.

So the person wasn't quite a person after all. Turned out the being standing in front of them was a droid. Jaheira turned tilted her head to the side as she pondered what in the world a military droid was doing out and about on its own. Weren't those types of things costly, and require lots of money to make. Something told her that this little fellow was being looked for at the moment, but she couldn't be sure. Technology after all wasn't her strong point, but then again, what was?
Jaheira looked over at Shine when he began to chuckle. She was looking at him with a interested look. Her face actually didn't look as amused as you would think, but more so that she was wondering if this droid just might attack Shine for laughing at its misfortune. she listened to him when that didn't turn out to be the case though and it seemed like they were plus one more on the working force. Good news in that Jaheira wouldn't have to break much more of a sweat now as opposed to if she was Shine's only other employee. Bad news because of the same reason. A stupid droid, and a military one at that, probably could easily do way more than she could. This Ryta person, as Shine called her, better not steal her job.
Jaheira rolled her eyes as once again Shine was playing gentleman. She simply just walked past the two wanting to get out of the bar quickly already. If anymore approached Shine, she didn't care. She would rather wait outside for him. Thus she easily slid though any waitresses walking by or people moving about. She was on a mission already, and that was to get out of this stupid cantina that she already had spent plentiful nights looking for work. Tonight was going to be the last night she exited this doors, or at least she hoped.

Passage is our payment we've have more than enough parts and supplies here on this world. What is more, Hume life, as you call it does not mean much to us. If you need a bone bag dead.....just say so.
Ryver turn and followed the other female out the front leaving the male to ponder what would be next. Ryver never minded with killing it was in her program but Taym, well, he was still squeamish about such things. As long as they were moving it still they were going forward in their droid life-like existance. The idea of stopping was not an option.

(OOC - After your guys responses, that'll be the topic end. Up next, picking up the other three members of the crew. XD)
As both Jaheira and Ryver/Taym exited ahead of him, Shine let his mind reflect on what had happened her tonight. He'd come into this bar hoping to find a potential crew member and by the end of it, he'd found two. Jaheira seemed to be unsure of herself, unsure of what she could do. He;d have to try and do something about that, for having someone who doubted themselves could lead to a complication if they lost faith in the middle of a job. As for Ryver/Taym, a droid with two personalities, having her opened up new doors and jobs. Droids, especially one's with battle functions, could make themselves useful in a variety of ways, and each of those ways benefited the whole. Grinning to himself, Shine followed out after them, sending Jaheira a wide grin as he passed ahead of her.
"Perhaps I should go first, considering I'm the only one who knows where the ship is.
Taking the lead, Shine lead the two of them to the hangar in which the Black Cat was stationed. It wasn't far, although they did have to go through a series of catwalks and elevators, passing various shops and people of many races and species. Finally they arrived, Shine showing the hangar guard his pass to allow him back in. He told him the folks behind him were with him and although the guard cast him a strange look, allowed them to pass. Nodding to him, Shine approached the ship and turned to face his new crew mates.
"Well, this is her. The Black Cat. Took me a while and a small fortune to repair and modify her, which are still under going by the way, but she's one of the best ships you'll see out there. She might not be the best overall, but she gets the job done and gets her comrades to where they need to go. But I'll let you look for yourselves. The specs are all here on this datapad, which I'll make a copy of for both of you to look at.
As for your rooms.....hmmmm. Jaheira, there's one located next to the ship's armory, you can take that one if you like. As for you Ryver/Taym, perhaps the one near to the engine room? Of course, if you don't like the rooms, just come talk to me and we'll see which one you'd rather. Aside from that, she's all yours to explore. I have to head back into the city for a bit, pick up some supplies I've been needing. Hopefully you'll be settled in by the time I get back.
And with that, Shine headed back out the way in he came, waving to them over his shoulder as he left. He wasn't worried that they might try and take the ship, for he'd installed a program that allowed only him to activate the ship via his voice and DNA. Not that he didn't trust them, but he wouldn't risk the Black Cat for complete strangers. Not yet anyway.

Jaheira watched Shine grin at her as he passed by her and proceeded to lead the way. It left Jaheira chuckling at his antics in a amused way. She was quite amused he would keep this up, but it was still annoying and could not resist rolling her eyes at him. She didn't speak up, and instead silently followed Shine from behind, side by side with the crazy split personality droid. This was going to be quite the dysfunctional crew if it was just the three of them. Her the critic, the bipolar droid, and a gentleman outlaw. It was quite the scene in her head, and for Jaheira, she could only think bad thoughts of how this was going to turn out.
Thoughts seemed to fill in a time gap though of following Shine, and before she even realized it, she was staring at his ship. The Black Kitten she recalled in her head. She knew what it was really called, but for now she liked to degrade it to the Black Kitten. It sort of made her feel good about herself just like every other degrading comment she could pull out of her sleeve that was sarcastic.
"It will do," Jaheira replied as Shine told her which room was hers. She walked away already while Shine was still explaining the rooms and what he was planning on doing. She stopped before entering the ship fully and looked back at Shine leaving. She found it very interesting leaving them with the ship. Thank god she didn't know how to pilot one, or else she would have attempted to steal it just to teach him a lesson. Although she wasn't quite sure if she would give it back or not, who knows. With that she turned around and entered the ship to get herself finally situated inside her new living quarters.
OOC-Sorry I was in Vegas over the weekend. Back now!
