Mara's Name Generator

Thanks! I wish I could say the names here appealed to me, but none of them did, or at least not completely. There were parts I liked--such as the "Duli" last name for the Mirialan and the "elle" suffix on Orvelle for the Miralukan--but nothing really jumped at me. Do you think you could come up with some more names for those species, as well as some more masculine-sounding names for the Human/Selphi? Really sorry if this is too much bother!

I've edited my former post with a few more suggestions for the Miraluka and Mirialan.

Also, I've fixed up the names for the human/Sephi. (I realized I had been making feminine names on purpose, due to a brain fart, lol. Sorry about that. They now should be more masculine.)


As well, as I mentioned, you can always do a search on this thread and look for any other lists I've come up with and check those out for more ideas.
(Just type in 'Miraluka' or 'Mirialan' or 'human' into the search box on top of the thread, and some former posts should pop up.)

Thank you for your help, I thought about the Hybrids and realized that the Falleen/Zeltron Hybrid would be an impossibility. The Zeltron/Sephi hybrid though it would be slim it is a viable. The reasoning being that both Sephi and Zeltron are Near-humans with genetic compatibility with humans. Falleen were isolationists during the time the RP takes place, I had not read the time period the RP takes place until after posting.

What if species that normally have no surname, though do have a few members with surnames, use their father/mother's name as a surname on planets dominated by species that use surnames. For instance Deliah Blue's, a canonical Zeltron, father's name might be or may have been Blue. If you look at it in this way it makes some sense, as certain human cultures do this in various ways. i.e. The Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden)

Hey there, Mara. Have to say up front, big fan of your work. Been using some of it to plan out characters for a fanfic I'm mapping.

Business. Ran into a bit of a snag. I ended up changing the main character's race from Nautolan to Echani. Doing an overhaul on some character names, and I'm having a hard time finding one I like. So here's what I'm looking for:

I need a male name for an Echani. I don't know how different those are from regular names, so...whatever on that. I don't mind longer names, but I do prefer that if they are longer they have a clear nickname or shortening. I find that for guys, I'm a fan of K's and Z's for names, though I can dig other names too. The last name I'm running with is Val Alath, which I picked up off of a website and I don't know how Echani that is. If that is appropriate, I'd like to keep it, and if not, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also, if it isn't too much trouble, looking for a female name as well. First and last. She's human. This one isn't as necessary, as I am willing to dig through generators for a while, but you tend to come up with good names, so I thought I'd mention it.

This all takes place some time after the kerfuffle with Exar Kun and Ulic Qel Droma wrapped up, if that changes anything. The main character was born somewhere around 3990 BBY. Don't know if that matters, but I figured I'd mention it just in case.

Please and thanks in advance. There's no rush on it, as I'm not looking to start for a while yet, so if you need time, feel free to take it.

Echani male (not a whole lot of examples on Wookieepedia, so I just really make stuff up that sounds good, to be honest):
- Lask Norelle
- Hibran val Alath
- Griux Sweo
- Jerret Pazzon

Human female:
- Oletti Zevron
- Salanthe Uria
- Lolelia Veag
- Naylaz Niemi


You can mix/match the first names/surnames if you prefer.

Hope there's something in there you like!

Also, these two species are fairly common requests, so if you want to do a search on this thread (there's a little search box at the top of the thread; just type whatever in there, and it'll search the thread for it), there should be a few more lists for Echani and humans. Or I can always come up with more myself.

I can toss out some names for you, if it's not for RP here on SWU.
Because like Dutch said, we don't usually allow Mandalorian Jedi. But if it's off-site, I don't see a problem.

But first, I need to know what race. Mandalorian is a culture not a race. Though I imagine you probably mean human? Just needed to check.

Almost the same problem as zellip, my brain is dumb and I can't find a name for a sith sorcerer human male/former slave (maybe not dancer lol). I've tried many, many names generator but most of them are just random letters put together so..meh (or maybe I'm just too picky). I've read the whole thread and I'm impressed, some suggestions from you would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea for the planet though, I don't know many of them but if you really need one just tell me

There's quite a few; maybe something in there spikes your interest? (Most of them were never used, if at all). Not trying to stifle you or get of out coming up with new names; just want those ones to get used.
Because otherwise, I'll be more than glad to come up with some others.
