"I'm not saying I can trick Jedi," Alindra said, stretching her arms and legs. She didn't like having to demonstrate her skill in the Force. There wasn't going to be much of a contest. But if it meant proving she was willing to go the distance, Alindra would do it.
The blade stayed powered down. Alindra knew its limitations, but didn't want to make a point about it. If it--and she--could hold out for a minute, the problems with her lightsaber might not even come into the affair.
"There are plenty of targets I could help the Sith with, many of them wouldn't think a thing. Why suspect the dancing girl? She can't do anything to us." She let the joy leave her face and stared over at her aggressor. "That is what you're thinking, isn't it?"

Visari leaned against the stone railing of a balcony a floor up from the courtyard where the younger initiates were gathered to greet the newcomer. The Epicanthix had welcomed a number of newcomers into the Temple himself, and made a habit of floating around the area near the entrance when he wasn't doing anything else just for that purpose; it only made sense to get an idea of the people he would be working with in the coming months and years, and to gauge who the people of note might be, or who the fools were. Though, after the whole fiasco with Raeg Vashin, he tried to avoid the fools as best he could. Still, it was always interesting to see the sorts that were drawn to the new Temple and the newly reborn Order.
He'd been out on the balcony to catch a few moments of quiet to be alone with his thoughts when he'd seen the new girl coming. He might have gone to greet her, but he'd felt the presence of another one of the initiates coming from within the Temple, and had instead decided to observe. And what he'd observed had proved to be most interesting. Some more initiates arrived shortly, and the male left, leaving the other two to talk to the new girl. He recognized one of them, Zarene Yin, but the other, he did not.
Their voices carried well enough through the courtyard, and Visari had been able to make out what it was they were saying, and from the sound of things, Yin and the other initiate were not at all impressed with the new girl. Of course, none of them knew--as far as he was aware--that he was watching them from his place up on the balcony, though all it would take to see him would be a stray glance. Force Concealment was a favorite technique of his, and useful, given his position; it wouldn't at all be hard to sense him were he not using it, and at the moment, he was more than content to watch the interactions of the initiates down below than drawing attention to himself. Though, because he was hiding his presence he could not reach out with his senses to feel out the newcomer, or even the other two that were with her, so he could not say what his own opinion of the blonde girl was.
Suddenly, though, the initiate that was not Yin surged forward, openly showing her disdain for the new girl before issuing a challenge to her. The new girl would not be cowed, though. "So the children are going to play, are they," Visari muttered under his breath. A twisted grin pulled at the corners of his lips as he leaned forward to watch what would happen. It should be interesting, if nothing else.
{Ok, this thread has really caught my interest, so I jumped in, if that's alright with you folks. But I'll stay out of the way for the time being, so don't mind me much.}

.925's processors registered the lack of recognition by all in general. What was more the one before him was being threatened. His logics told him that the closest to himself could hold info on who was sitting on him. Stepping up beside Alindra, .925 stated.......
This one has information that I need. None will harm this one. Fight this one you fight with memeeee as well.
.925 did not know how well it could fight at it's current condition. Repairs were now third, and the info Alindra held second, her safety became priority one. Success would only be a 30% chance at this time at least until repairs could be made then it would jump to 75%. Waiting for a response .925 readied it's self. The saber in it's scabbard was near useless for may months ago it had rusted to gather. So a fist fight might have to be the choice of style to duel. .925 would rather just get repaired and oiled and have another peaceful night.

She smiled darkly, the saber floating from her belt. She clutched it tightly, but didn't ignite it. Instead, she simply grinned, and held up a palm, the Force pulsing around her, as well as a wave of cold that swept out from her...
And then the damn droid interfered. Swearing colorfully, she shook her head. "Droid, out of the way, or I will take you apart, piece by piece. The way I see it, this Order suffers by letting in untrained fools such as this one," she said, stabbing the unignited lightsaber at Alindra. "In that respect they are no better than the Jedi," she snarled, and then the snap-hiss sounded as the dark orange blade gleamed into life.
"Now stand aside, or I'll cut you down the same as I will her if she doesn't show some promise."

A large droid, the source of the speaking Alindra had heard a moment before, rose, standing to protect her, or at least fight next to her. Alindra looked up, caught in the shadow of the great mechanism. It spoke of information that it needed, information Alindra apparently had.
Her interactions with droids had been scarce. As a child, her owners looked at droids as distractions more often than not. Most droids, Alindra knew, were actually capable of carrying out all the tasks she had to do. But in her heart, she knew, standing in the dry air of Korriban, that she looked better than a droid. Still, she was intimidated by the droid's quick rise and assertion, though she knew she couldn't accept it's help fighting another Sith.
"Calm down, big boy," Alindra said, patting the side of the droid. "This is between me and her, so just stay back for a bit."
When she turned, Alindra put her thumb on the activation switch of her lightsaber. As she started to put pressure on it, she quickly turned the weapon without lighting it, thrusting the Force out through her hands and at her opponent. She imagined the pressure the attack might put on the young woman's rib cage and organs, before igniting her lightsaber and leaping forward. If Alindra had to fight, she couldn't wait for a fair contest to begin.

Zarene couldn't help but roll her eyes. This always happened! Fights breaking out in the Temple for no apparent reason, at the front door, no less, even when the practice grounds stood empty. Lord Iniquitous was trying to create a Sith Order, not make a temple for spoiled kids to rip each other's eyes out. The eye-ripping was supposed to come later, against the Republic and the Jedi.
Zarene focused on her anger, opening the floodgates to allow the Force to flow into her, stepped into the path of Alindra's Force attack. It split down the middle, the two halves passing harmlessly to each side, dissipating into the air. She raised her left hand in Alindra's direction. The pretty young woman would find her leap put to an abrupt stop.
"This is the front door of the Sith Temple, not a gladiator ring." Her eyes narrowed as they met Alindra's, and then quickly turned to meet Marie's. "She may be an untrained fool, but so are you. Doesn't look like that uncle of yours did a very good job." Turning back towards Alindra, the corner of her mouth curved upwards in a slight smirk. "So much for charm."
It occurred to her that if neither backed down, then it was a distinct possibility that she would have to kill them both. Both of the women seemed to be overflowing with anger, yearning to lash out at something, someone. And she had just stepped in between them. But her mind worked quickly, coming up with a plan of attack should it come down to that. Years as an Exchange assassin had taught her that is was always good to have a plan on how to kill everyone around you, even if you hoped that it wouldn't have to happened.
Young one can go first. Knock the saber aside. Grab, choke, snap. Blaster to left hand against Alindra. Two shots should be enough. First to knock saber away, second to kill. Droid least threat, can save for last. Simple Force throw should suffice....
"Now, if you two must fight to prove which one of you is less weak, take it to the practice grounds. That's not a request." Maybe one of them would kill the other, or maybe not. The loss of either one would not be missed. They both had potential, but right now it was just potential, and there were plenty of other recruits arriving each day with potential. But Temple order mattered, and would be maintained, even if she had to kill a pair of new recruits as an example to do it.

Koeing had spent his time finishing the tour of the temple and it's grounds when he heard commotion coming from within the temple itself. He began walking away from it as it sounded childish up until the point where he noticed Alindra's voice wafting out on the air. What the hell is she up to now? He thought as he spun on his heels and began a quick walk toward the temple. Finding his way up to the second floor Koeing made his way across to the balcony that overlooked the area Alindra and this other girl were at. The scene before him caused him to sigh heavily and shake his head, not only was Alindra being held back by someone but it looked as if she had been about to attack this other girl.
"Children.." He muttered under his breath then, shifting his eyes noticed the man standing beside him, reaching out through the force he couldn't feel the force flowing through him as he normally would with any other. This man must command a unique power to hide himself within the force, the edges of his lips twitched into a grin before disappearing just as fast. Leaning against the same railing now he nodded to the older man out of respect then turned his focus back to the scene below. "So, do you think my Alindra could best her? I'm not sure, she doesn't have very much experience with the way of the blade." He sent a twisted, but friendly smile his way before examining the one holding Alindra back.
How is it Alindra could have gotten herself into this situation was beyond him, the girl always had a knack for charm and yet...Here she was about ready to tear another girls throat out and over what? The other girl had probably insulted or irritated her. Shaking his head Koeing just watched the scene before him awaiting the next move and wondering who out of these two girls would decide to go against the wishes of the one holding them back. If Alindra tried Koeing really did not wish to have to kill someone, he would hope she would back down for the moment then take this feud up later when no one was around.

((I know I was supposed to wait but I figure my post wont disrupt the flow much at all. My apologizes for any screw ups if caused by this))
So Grawn got bored rather quick of lightsaber training. Against dummies and bots, it was mere childs play sometime. Since he was an initiate yet, the settings he was able to place the bots at in training was limited and he had outgrown them weeks ago.
He considered returning to the library and did for a time. Research was something he would prefer not to have to do, but it was needed if he was to understand the many facets of power the dark side offered. As the Sith read the books however, the Force whispered of something different happening nearby.
Different usually meant a fight breaking out. It was a not so surprising aspect of life at the Temple. When so many beings desired power and would kill for it, it tended to happen. Placing his book down, Grawn followed the beckoning until he came close to the entrance he had left not to long ago.
"Hmph, I always miss the good stuff" the Sith chuckled and then used the Force to hide his presence, making him nearly invisible to anyone who wasn't extensively trained in stealth detection through the Force. Exiting the building, he looked over to where he had been "introducing" the new people. Sure enough, this is where the excitment was taking place.
The former Dark Jedi assassin approached the scene and placed himself on the end of the large stone railing that accompanied the stairs, rather close to Zarene. If the woman recognized he was there was up to debate, but otherwise he watched the events unfold. From the looks of it, the acolytes wanted a piece of each other. How fun!
Only if I only had something to eat with my show, Grawn thought as he folded his arms and watched.

As you wish, just don't get your self off-lined.
.925 was not one to just stand down. Backing up a few feet he let the humes have at each other. In this time of waiting he searched through his systems to try to find a place of droid repairs. What he did find was schematics of the building before him and various wi-fi signals.
One he found was releatively close by. An coms. wi-fi signal was found on a balcony of the temple. The signal's transponder code read Visari. From the coms logings he had many calls registered. .925 walked closer to the balcony and opened the signal and asked...... Pardon me... Is there a place for me to be repaired, Mr. Visari? So that I can help this one better.
.925 knew not wether this being would respond or not, and if not he would have to wait until this squabble was over.

Marie simply smiled when the other girl ignited her saber. But the entire thing went south very quickly, as she heard the insult about her uncle. She turned slowly, her eyes dead and cold. When she spoke, all emotion had drained out of her voice, leaving it flat and emotionless. "Do not insult my uncle. One thing he DID teach me was that even most of the Dark Jedi that were killed were the ones that had received little to no training."
She shook her head. "He taught me everything he knew, even if all of it didn't sink in," she said. "Even taught me to make my own saber. But I never got around to it. The Jedi came and took him away before he could actually show me the technique," she said, looking down at the floor.
Shaking her head, she sighed, shutting down the saber and clipping it back to her belt. "You have no idea what it's like to realize that the only person that really cares for your welfare has just been taken, never to be seen again. THAT is why I am here. THAT is why I hate the Jedi as much as I do. THAT is why I have sworn never to rest until I find the one that took my uncle from me, and take his head from his shoulders."

Just as Alindra moved across the steps to attack, she felt herself move backward. She regained her balance, skidding to a stop. Dust curled around her, making her turn her face at a slight angle. Yin stood in the path, making sure the battle did not continue, at least not yet. Yin remarked that they were not in a gladiator ring.
Before Alindra could reply, others had jumped in as well. Among them, Alindra sensed Koeing, her teacher and mentor in all things Sith. Her grip on her lightsaber tightened, not wanting to lower her guard unless she had to. But she watched as her opponent deactivated her blade and clipped it to her belt. Alindra did likewise, knowing that she had left her lightsaber on too long already.
"If we have to do this," Alindra said, "then I suppose the practice grounds would be a much more suitable setting. As for you." Alindra stared directly at her opponent. "I hope you find your Jedi--and make him suffer first."

She met Marie's cold stare with an icy glare of her own. "You really think I don't?" she asked flatly. You got off easy, she wanted to add. Have you had everything that you believed in suddenly come crumbling down around you? Had the people you trusted the most abandon you when you needed them the most? Until then you have no right to assume. Instead she just gritted her teeth, fist clenching until her knuckles turned white, as she imagined seizing the girl by the neck, cold steel closing around warm flesh, snapping the spine like how one would break a toothpick. It would have been easy. She restrained herself. Barely.
Slowly her fists unclenched. "If you're going to do this, practice grounds are that way." She gestured by tilting her head in the relevant direction. "If not, then clear out of here."

Marie turned, her eyes fixing on Yin's. "I know I may not have had the WORST life so far, I'll admit that. I know there are people out there that have more reason to hate the Jedi than I do. But that doesn't change that not only did they take my uncle from me, they also caused, by lack of action, the death of both my birth parents and my foster parents." She sighed, and shook her head, looking up at the sky.
"Bah. I'm whining again," she muttered, shaking her head again, drawing a deep breath. Looking back down and around at the others, she tilted her head. "So what about you? Why are all of you here?"

At least one of them has something in their head, Visari mused as Zarene moved to stop the blonde girl, who was making her attack on the initiate that challenged her. Honestly, fighting on the front steps! What would potential newcomers think?! Visari only shook his head, and turned slightly to see another man come to stand beside him.
Visari glanced at the out of the corner of one of his eyes. He didn't recognize him; perhaps he was another recently-arrived Initiate. If calling the other girl 'his' Alindra was anything to go by, he probably was, given the newness of the honey-haired girl.
"I cannot say. The ones that greeted her don't seem to be very impressed, but if that other girl's as foolish in a fight as she is outside of one, then she might have a chance." Visari's sharp green eyes lingered on the other man for a moment before he turned to look at the Initiates down below again. "I am Visari," he said before glancing back at the other man, making it apparent that he expected to learn his name.
His gaze shifted lazily back to the Initiates, and he watched more of the confrontation unfold. Curiously enough, the girl who'd issued the challenge seemingly forgot about Alindra, and turned her ire to Zarene, though, to her credit, Yin seemed to put the girl in her place. She's not a very focused one, is she? The girl had spunk, if nothing else; not that spunk would save her from getting killed, if her foolishness got her into trouble, but Visari supposed it counted for something.
Eventually, that girl looked around, noticing the others who had gathered to watch the little spat, and asked--or perhaps demanded, it was hard to tell with her type--to know what they were doing in the area, as if it wasn't obvious. Visari laughed at that.
"Why," he called out in his rich baritone, "I'm here because I saw a newcomer arrive, to be greeted by some impetuous child who thinks too highly of herself. And," he said, after pausing for a moment, "I was hoping to see her get knocked down a peg into her proper place."

Alindra sighed while her opponent kept talking. Just when things had turned to a contest of strength and battle prowess, it all changed again, this time turning into a race to see who could say the most first. Alindra did not feel like talking.
Seeing her exit, Alindra began to walk away from the entranceway, waving in the direction of her opponent. "I'll let you all talk," she said. "I'm going to head over to the practice grounds. Come find me when you can tear yourself away."
Alindra didn't give herself high odds for being able to walk away from the encounter so easily. She kept her lightsaber in hand and her thumb on the switch. There was no way she was letting herself be taken off guard.
As she waited for the attack, Alindra felt Koeing nearby. She glanced up at a balcony and saw him conversing with someone else. It didn't matter to Alindra what Koeing did, his matters were his own affair. For the moment, she blatantly looked up, trying to see what it would take to get his attention. While she did this, she kept her peripheral vision keyed in toward the cluster she'd just stepped away from.

Once a again Cho Wroth's meditation was disturbed by a near by squabble of the younger Sith. He wished he could be in charge of keeping the entrance clear and free of squabbles ment for the sparing arenas. Getting up from his hidden shadowed crag, he slow moved over to the youngsters. Al the while letting his force power writhe like tenticles of a monstres beast. Slowly wrapping around giving the feel of death, fear, and great destructive power.
If you would take your petty squabble to the sparring arena, and stop disturbing my day. If any would question my request then I shall drag them to the arena ahd gut them MY SELF.
Looking around Cho further continued....
And you there bot come here. ... The maintance bay for droids is back by the landing pads. Go there and tell them your mine and they will help you and from this point on you will be mine. .... Oh and for get about the petty thing like who was sitting on you for nearly every one here took their turn sitting on you.
Cho let the droid leave before going over to the one called Alindra. Cho let his force tendrils become like a writhing wall around them.
And you,..... if you want to die continue on your path. You need to be stronger and a weapon such as your's will not last long here. If you insist to squabble with these.... you must be prepared to kill them or die...... at least at you current state. For this other one is bantha fodder and she knows it. That is why she challanges the new ones to arrive.
Cho turned back to the other female....You know better...... take your squabbles to the sparring arenas and leave the steps to their quiet calming winds.

"Why am I here? None of your business." She finished with a tone that indicated that she was not open to further conversation on the subject.
If Zarene had thought the place was getting crowded earlier, she was proven wrong as two more individuals revealed themselves. First was the old white-haired man Netellus. She was somewhat surprised by his appearance. The fellow was supposed to be a respected business leader in addition to being a powerful dark jedi master, and yet he had no better thing to do than use Force Concealment to spy on girls less than half his age?
The second was no surprise though. Anyone who had spent time at the Temple would have had at least one run-in with Cho Wroth. The gray-skinned noghri was always trying to creep people out with his bizarre behavior. He often seemed to be rambling incoherently about some Dark Will. That was when he wasn't trying to poke people with the Force where they did not want to be poked.
She made a quick slashing motion with her hand, severing the writhing tentacles that he had been trying to wrap around them. "I had thought that Lady Renata made clear that you should keep your nose out of where it doesn't belong." The last time she had seen the noghri, he had been bothering them when she and Gabriella had been meeting with Mistress Renata, rambling on how he was a weapon of the Sith until Renata had had enough and cut him off. "A good weapon should be neither seen nor heard until it is ready to be used. So be gone."

Alindra's eyes gazed slightly above the Noghri addressing her, an advantage only given by the heels of her boots. "You're right," Alindra said. "But I promise you, I'll find the strength to take on our enemies." Taking a short breath, she added, "As things currently stand, I am far from useless. For now, friend, I'll take your advice."
She glanced at the large droid, wondering what would become of it. It had seemed willing to aid her for little reason at all. There was no reason why she would need to deny aid from anyone, but for some reason she didn't like the idea of the Noghri simply telling the droid it would obey him and belong to him. What could Alindra do to change that? Nothing, so she turned and let it go.
Training awaited Alindra. Perhaps she would find someone to learn from, pick up a few skills she lacked. Alindra would prove not only her willingness, but her true strength as well.

Cho's mind went silent and his eyes glazed over. The noghri never had been treated so in his life. Letting the power of the force flow around and through him he responded with closed eyes.
The pet of Dark Lady Renata should know her place and mind her words or I'll take her place and head. So mind your self prey or your blood will be mine.
With rising force power Cho let the swirling eddies of the force kick up small amounts of dust around his feet. When he opened his eyes they were a glowing red filled with the power of the dark side. The sound of static snaps of force lighting could be faintly heard as they writhed up from his fingers to his shoulders.
The day of sacrifice is near for you young one. You have been warned.
Cho turn away going into the temple only to pause and look up to the others who looked on from above.

"And the self-proclaimed weapon should know that it is not in his place to tell me where mine is," she retorted, rolling her eyes at the lizardman's little display of dominance, kicking up dirt and channeling small sparks. But subtly she shifted her weight to the balls of her feet, ready to spring into action should Cho attempt to turn the confrontation into something violent. She reached out through the Force towards a bile of small boulders at one side of the stairs, though unlike Cho she did not attempt to flaunt her action. She merely held them in place, ready to throw with bone-crushing force at a moments notice.
And abruptly it was over, Cho turned away and stalked up the stairs. She shook her head and sighed. There was no understanding that fellow. It was probably about time she headed back to the Temple herself. Coming outside was supposed to be a break, and breaks were supposed to be relaxed. This had turned out to be anything but. Next time she was going to just stick with hot tea and chocolate in her room instead. That and disassembling and maintaining the various guns in her armory.
