Password: Trouble with Tribbles
Name: Ethan Moreill
Age: 41
Race: Human
Birth place: Coronet, Corellia
Height: 6’ 1”
Weight: 161 .lbs
Eye Color: Grey-Blue
Hair Color: Orange-ish
Appearance: Ethan is taller than most people his age, besides large species such as wookiees or feeorin. He is fairly muscular from carrying around Beskar’garm, and he works out all the time. His bright red hair screams Corellia, and his grey-blue eyes are a tribute to his mother’s family which is Mandalorian. He wears his hair long, but not as long as some, with bangs at hang over his eyes. Ethan has a full face of red facial air as well. Ethan's nose is pointed, and his chin is somewhat pronounced.
When not wearing his armor, Ethan has fairly simple clothes. He wears khaki cargo pants and has a khaki colored Corellian flight jacket with long sleeves that he wears to go along with this. And underneath is a plain simple white shirt. And Ethan always has his leather belt with hip holster and blaster pistol with him.
His armor has no special features other than color. It's the typical full suit of beskar'garm, colored red to honor his mentor from the Republic Navy, Captain Torvak. It's detailed yellow, as Ethan didn't want it all to be red and thought the color matched well. He has something of a cape on his armor, colored red on the outside and yellow on the inside.

Personality: Ethan will never escape the fact that he will always be a child of two cultures. He has served in two different militaries, and the opposite side as always haunted him. He refuses to believe what Republic therapist have told him, that he has a small case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He wont accept this, despite nightmares and nights where he cannot sleep at all.
Money never meant much to Ethan. He grew up the riches of the rich on Corellia. He always had whatever he wanted. He could buy whatever he needed. While he sold his shares of stock in his father's company, more investing and just savings have always given him more credits than he could know what to do with.
Sometimes, Ethan gets crazy ideas that he thinks are good ideas. And if they're good enough, he'll act upon those ideas without a second thought. This is how he became an officer in the Republic Navy, and how he became a bounty hunter afterwards. This had also lead to quite a bit of risk taking on his part.
After one failed romance, Ethan never really made any friends. He always kept things strictly business while hunting or doing mercenary work. He never tried his hand at romance afterwards, figuring that bounty hunting, mercenaries, and the military wasn't the life he wanted to share with someone. Despite this, Ethan has always trusted his co-workers, at least, when doing mercenary work. He watched their back and they have no reason not to watch his. It's safe to say Ethan is quick to trust.
Ethan has problems with loss. He feels as if when someone close to him dies, it was his fault somehow. If he could've only been faster or stronger it wouldn't have happened. This has caused him to train and workout almost everyday. And when someone close to him is lost, Ethan has been know to sink into a depression and become a recluse alcoholic.
Ethan grows attached to things, not necessarily people, but things. For example, his beskar'garm, or the ship he served on in the Republic. This was proven when he couldn't bring himself to fire on the Hammerhead he once helmed and then commanded while in the Mandalorian Navy. He has a tendency to talk to his ships when working on them, or piloting, or during combat. Ethan's mother says it's just part of being part Corellian, as his father used to do it as well. Others call it crazy or having issues.
When working in Hutt Space, Ethan always had two rules: Don't hurt innocent people, and don't deal with anything having to do with slavery. Ethan has always tried to a be a good guy. He wanted his mentor's sacrifice to save him mean something, and the way he saw best to fulfill that was by helping others by putting criminals away forever.

Pre-Conception:
Elias Moreill was an independent smuggler operating in the Outer Rim. A full Corellian, he quickly gained a reputation as a good smuggler and a crazy pilot. Elias also charted people who didn’t want to use public transportation or wanted to avoid customs. This is how he met Mirta Infera, a young mandalorian woman who was a small time bounty hunter. The two became good friends, and were soon watching one another’s back. Elias would sneak Mirta’s gear and whatever else she needed onto a planet, and she would always be ready to rescue the unlucky smuggler when a deal went bad.
After a short while, the unlike duo’s friendship became more. The two fell in love, and while Mirta’s family shunned Elias, she didn’t care. In a short time, Mirta became pregnant with what would be their son. Ethan. Elias, unlike most, did the responsible thing and married Mirta. The two settled down on Corellia, where Elias soon became a professional swoop racer.
Birth: Ages 0 – ½ Year Old
Ethan was born soon after the two had their marriage ceremony, which consisted mostly of Elias’s family who accepted Mirta without question. Elias’s racing paid off big, and soon he was sponsored by large swoop manufacturing companies. The new family lived in peace and had everything they could ever want, they became rich very shortly thanks to Elias. But Mirta couldn’t settle down, and she was hired by CorSec soon after Ethan was born.
Elias didn’t race all the time, usually only on weekends. This let him watch Ethan while Mirta was at work, and she would watch the newborn while Elias raced. The couple worked their schedules around their son, whom had quickly gained their affections. Their was nothing greater in their life than Ethan.
Growing Up: Ages ½ Year – Twelve Years Old
Ethan was soon walking and talking. His first word was ‘swoop’, much to Elias’s joy. Elias and Mirta didn’t take Ethan out of the house much while he was small; there was always someone home with him. Both Mando’a and Basic were spoken fluently at home, so Ethan learned both at a young age. Things were sublime, until Ethan turned three. Mirta and Elias had a huge argument about whether or not Ethan was to undertake the traditional mandalorian training or not. Elias couldn’t leave Coronet because of his racing, and didn’t want Mirta and Elias to travel alone. Mirta claimed there wasn’t enough space in near Coronet for her to train Ethan, and wanted to take him to Concord Dawn, her home planet. Elias still had his private ship, “The White Raven”, which he taught Mirta to fly thinking that he found a solution to his problem. The couple also bought a protocol droid, NR-1B5 or BeeFive for short, to take care of Ethan while Mirta was flying.
Mirta and Ethan would travel to Concord Dawn all the time when he was little, then every summer when he was in school. There, they would stay with Mirta’s family and he started his training. The first few times he was on Concord Dawn was all about learning what being a Mandalorian was about. Ethan's training was mostly combat, how to shoot a blaster and hand to hand combat. When he got older, Ethan also started training with melee weapons. When he was busy with a weapon, Ethan was learning about Mandalorian culture. His grandafther had a farm, which was where Ethan stayed on Concord Dawn, and so he also picked up some farming skills.
Ethan loved the open space and farm fields on Concord Dawn, nothing like living in the city on Corellia. Other Mandalorians looked down on Ethan, or rather his father, because Mirta was training him instead. Ethan felt alone on both Concord Dawn and Corellia among his peers.
At five, back on Corellia, Ethan was enrolled in the best education money could by. A private academy called ‘Stargazer’s Academy’. It was a large school located outside of Coronet, and had students of every age. For a couple of years, Ethan wouldn’t have any friends and felt alone when he went to school. He figured he was the only one who had Mandalorian training and because of this he felt ahead of his peers when in all reality he was only an average student, for the academy at least. He also mixed Basic and Mando’a words, a habit he picked up from his mother. He was a very nice boy really, but no one just got to know him.
However, when he was ten, he finally made a friend that would stick with him all throughout his school years. Human girl named Corana Selmur didn’t mind Ethan speaking in Mando’a or the fact that he was always the loner. Corana was always more upbeat and adventurous, while Ethan was more of a realist. The two got together well enough, and Ethan taught her parts of Mando’a so they could speak without anyone eavesdropping.
Teenager: Ages 13 - 18
Entering middle school and the age of twelve, Elias retired from swoop racing. Instead, he started his own company called Hiker Swoops, which made racing swoops for both professionals and civilians. Everyone wanted to buy a swoop from the famous Elias Moreill and his company. The swoops were fast and reliable, and easy to modify. This made Elias’s company boom from the start. A company that Ethan would one day inherit.
During middle school, Ethan started to open up more. He got to know more people, and he no longer had just one friend. It seemed that everyone in the school knew of the famous Elias Moreill’s son. Ethan’s Mandalorian training continued, but only during the summer between school years. Ethan never told Corana where he went, afraid that she wouldn’t understand. Corana eventually got to the bottom of it after questioning Ethan nonstop about his ‘trip’ when he came back.
After convincing Ethan and her own parents about it, and getting permission from Mirta, she decided to go with him on his next trip. So the day after Ethan turned fourteen, the same day that school was out for the summer, she accompanied Ethan and Mirta to Concord Dawn. She helped work Ethan’s family farm during the day when he was training, and then at night Ethan would show her the city.
In high school, Ethan became the type of guy who was always dating someone new and as popular as he was. Corana was not forgotten, but just a friend who was like a sister to him. Corana and Ethan started to talk less and less, until they almost didn’t talk at all.
Ethan started to become involved with a certain seedier element in the school; illegal swoop racing. He never played sports or did drugs and alcohol. But once Elias bought Ethan his very own racing swoop when he was sixteen, he put it to good use. Ethan seemed to inherit his father’s talent, and was a very good racer. His parents never wondered where Ethan gained all his money from, as they hardly gave him any, telling him he had to work to earn it. However Corana soon found out about Ethan’s racing, and then confronted him about it and the dangers of it. He didn’t listen, and they had a yelling match in one of the school’s hallways.
Corana went to Ethan’s parents, who then confronted him about it also. Seeing no way out, Ethan told the truth. His parents took his swoop away that night, and Ethan soon ran out of credits. Depression soon set in. Not only had the one thing he loved in life been taken away, but it had been taken away by the one person who was once been his best friend. Ethan once again became the loner he was before he met Corana, not because people didn’t want to be around him but because he didn’t want to be around people.
When he turned eighteen, the last summer before his last school year, Ethan’s grandfather on his mother’s side pasted away. He left not only his house and land to Ethan, whom he held in high regard, but he also left his personal armor. Ethan kept the estate, thinking of his future, and repainted the armor to Corellian green and brown. But that same summer, more tragedy hit. Ethan’s father, Elias, was killed by a drunk driver while riding his personal swoop through Coronet. He left everything, including his company, to Mirta and Ethan. Mirta passed the company on to Ethan, who let the board run it until he was ready to take the reigns. But Elias’s death shook Ethan up. He saw just how dangerous swoops could be, and while he still loved to fly them, he said thank you to Corana and Mirta both for potentially saving his life. His apology to Corana was very painful for him, but he knew he had to do it.
During his last year of school, Ethan changed. He was no longer the smooth-sayer who was dating someone new every month and racing swoops through downtown Coronet, but rather he became more conservative and responsible. He repaired his relationship with Corana, and it wasn’t long until the two were dating. Their relationship stayed strong through the school year and beyond.
Becoming An Adult: Ages 19 - 21
Ethan decided not to go to a fancy college, only taking his basic courses at a local school. Corana traveled to Coruscant to study politics. They maintained a long distance relationship until Ethan finished his own schooling. At the age of twenty-one, Ethan took control of his father’s swoop company. He was able to make most correct decisions by himself, while the board offered what advice he needed.
After a few months Ethan traveled to Coruscant where he surprised Corana by buying a high end apartment and offering to let her move in, which she did. Ethan expanded his company to Coruscant now as well, so they had a plant and a shop in the capital of the Republic. But swoops didn’t sell as well on Coruscant like they did on Corellia. For this reason, Ethan had Hiker Swoops to start manufacturing air speeders and speeder bikes as well. And because they had expanded their manufacturing, Ethan had Hiker Swoops name changed to Hiker Vehicles. Their new vehicles soon became known as some of the fastest, with the engineers incorporating some of the same engines and designs into the new vehicles.
In about a year Ethan, which much help and consul from the board of directors, had brought Hiker Vehicles to a great new reputation. He opened a new factory and dealership on Concord Dawn as well. His vehicles were soon being found all over the galaxy. However, because Ethan spent so much time on work his relationship with Corana took a toll. They no longer lived together, and Ethan had sold his apartment on Coruscant. Ethan had tried convincing her that she didn’t need to go to school or work anymore, as he had enough money for them to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. But Corana wouldn’t give up on her dreams. Ethan even went as far as calling her politics, which she was studying, nothing more than bantha podoo. He had no love for politics at all, and thought they were a waste of time. Between this and moving out to Concord Dawn, the couple soon broke up.
Ethan was heartbroken, but he found ways to keep busy. On Concord Dawn, Ethan moved into his grandfather’s old estate, and completely paid the property off. He hired hands to help him around the farm. After buying more land, he started planting corps, mostly wheat. But with Ethan running a company, the hired hands did most of the work. Ethan attended all the board and company meetings through the holonet, appearing as a hologram.
The Military Step: Ages 21 - 29
Ethan grew restless however. His company was booming, and he was richer than ever. Ethan made sure his mother, Mirta, had everything she wanted on Corellia. Since he became so restless, Ethan decided to join the Republic Military on a whim, hoping to put his mandalorian training to good use. He transferred control of Hiker Vehicles over to Mirta temporarily; planning to come back. But Ethan remained the sole owner.
With his basic college, Ethan was able to get into a Naval Academy on Raltiir. Ethan’s reputation seemed to have followed him and it was well known throughout the academy that he was the owner of a large swoop company and he was supposedly very rich, which he was. Despite this, Ethan tried to leave his past behind him. He ignored jeers from other cadets about his status or money, and avoided questions about why he wanted to join up if he could live comfortably for the rest of his life. However when it came to practice out on the courses or on the firing range, those jokes and questions fell silent. Ethan’s mandalorian training had in fact given him an edge over the rest of the cadets, and Ethan scored high on any course or firing range. He particularly loved the ropes courses, and climbing cargo nets.
After his four years at the academy on Raltiir, Ethan graduated an Ensign was sent to join The Republic’s Fifth Fleet, where he would join the crew of a Hammerhead Frigate. There he took over as the helmsman, as their previous one retired from the Navy. The ship’s name was The White Current.
The first few years went fairly smoothly, Ethan was a fairly good pilot, and knew what he was doing behind the helm of The White Current after awhile. About three years passed, and Ethan was promoted to Lieutenant, while still keeping his Helmsman position. He made a few friends and acquaintances but kept things mainly business. People respected Ethan for his skill behind the helm of a ship and because of the respect he showed others.
After three years behind the helm of The White Current, Ethan finally saw some action. Pirates operating out of an asteroid field near Naboo were waylaying any and all ships, whether Republic or merchant or others, going to and from the planet. While not the usual area that The White Current patrolled, it was thrown together into a taskforce to take out the menace. The White Current was the largest warship in the taskforce, and therefore the flagship.
The taskforce combed the asteroid field for two days before they finally found the pirates. The pirates had built up a large fleet from the ships they had already raided, but none of the ships were any larger than the Hammer-head class that The White Current was. Upon finding the pirate fleet the Republic taskforce was immediately fired upon, completely negating Captain Torvak's (the Captain of The White Current) attempt at opening a comm channel with the pirates to negotiate.
The pirates had modified some of their ship's weaponry, allowing it to punch through shield with more ease. The pirates tore through some of the smaller ships in the fleet with ease, reducing them to burning hulls quickly. The White Current came under fire soon after the pirates dealt with some of the smaller ships. Ethan kept a cool head, unlike some of his fellow officers with whom he graduated from the naval academy on Ralltiir. Captain Torvak was able to keep the other officers in line while Ethan piloted. Captain Torvak noticed that the pirates guns, while being high in power, where slow to bear.
Captain Torvak had Ethan drive The White Current right though the heart of the pirate fleet. Ethan called the Captain crazy, but did so anyways. The main guns blasted a path for the Hammerhead to follow, and the pirates brought their guns to bear on the ship while it passed though. The guns where too slow though, and were still firing while turning. This lead to the pirate's guns firing on their own ships, and destroying each other in the process. It was a simple mop up job afterwards, and another successful day.
After the battle, Captain Torvak's first mate and XO was promoted and given command of his own ship. The Captain took a week or so studying the crew, and asked Ethan to become his new XO. Ethan grew attached to The White Current while helming it, especially during the battle near Naboo, and thought no one else would be able to pilot it as well as he did. But Ethan did accept the position.
The taskforce remained near Naboo for a couple of months, just in case any of the pirates that escaped decided to come back. After about four months, The White Current received it's new deployment: patrolling the section of the Hydian Way close to Brentaal.
Ethan looked to Captain Torvak as a mentor, and the Captain saw Ethan as his protege, and someone who could eventually replace him and go far in the navy. The two officers grew close, and had something of a father-son relationship.
Then one fateful day when Ethan was twenty-nine, The White Current was doing a routine patrol near Brentaal. Apparently, a terrorist group had spotted the Brentaal taskforce as an easy target, and decided to try and capture the ships. They pulled the ships out of hyperspace on the way from Brentaal to Skako by dropping an asteroid right in the middle of the space-lane.
The White Current was the unfortunate ship to collide with the asteroid. The asteroid hit on the left side of the ship and because of the ship's momentum, the asteroid slid all the way down the left side of the Hammerhead. Because of the ship's design, this disabled the main gun on the left side of the bridge and the left engine. The rest of the taskforce dropped out of hyperspace as well, due to the Republic-mandated slave circuits.
Then the terrorist attacked. They hyperspaced in on the stranded ships and gained the upper hand through sheer surprise. They boarded most of the ships, taking them over as they did so. They went for The White Current first. The terrorist's main frigate attached to the port-side docking clamp, about the only thing left working on that side after the asteroid. Their soldiers were soon pouring into The White Current, and the ship's security was doing all it could to hold them back, but the terrorist kept coming. Soon, the crew was barricaded on the command deck. Ethan had quickly gone from helping coordinate officers on the bridge to fighting off the borders along with what was left of the ship's security.
Ethan helped hold off the borders, and they held the terrorist for long enough for Captain Torvak to get the taskforce in position to retreat. And as they were getting ready to jump into hyperspace, the terrorist pressed again. They brought in several grenade launchers in order to blow away any barricades the Republic troops had set up. Ethan and the survivors soon found themselves barricading the bridge itself. The border's got into the bridge as well, and soon had the officers there fighting as well. Captain Torvak and Ethan had decided, over the chorus of blaster fire, to die rather than give their ship to the terrorist.
In the mess of the firefight, Captain Torvak was gunned down trying to save Ethan. Ethan kept telling himself it didn't happen, or that Captain Torvak didn't die saving him. Ethan kept fighting, only refueled with anger now. That's when Republic reinforcements came up from lower decks and ambushed the borders. When last terroist was dead Ethan, who was the commanding officer of The White Current now, ordered a full retreat of the taskforce continuing onto Skako.
Lowest of the Low: Ages 29 - 31
When the taskforce got to Skako, everyone was given shore leave until the ships were repaired. Ethan, and everyone else who was on the bridge of The White Current, received medals from the Republic. Ethan was promoted as well to Lt. Commander. Ethan didn't feel ready for such a position, and he soon sunk into a depression over the loss of Captain Torvak. It was like he lost his father all over again. The Republic brought in a new Captain, and while Ethan respected him they remained only acquaintances. He asked Ethan to remain as XO, since he was someone the crew knew very well.
Ethan remained XO on The White Current only for a few months after the ship was repaired. Because of his depression and a few other problems, such as nightmares, a therapist with the Republic Navy said that Ethan was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The navy let him retire early, and honorably discharged him from the service.
Ethan returned to Corellia, but not to his company Hiker Vehicles. He told Mirta what had happened, and said he didn't want to run a company right now. So she agreed to keep things going without him. Ethan took to lounging around his rather large house, and buying as well as working on swoops.
But when his money wasn't going towards swoops, it was going towards drinking. Ethan thought that if he could drown his problems, they would simply vanish. Whatever happened, he didn't want to feel guilty for what had happened on board The White Current. He soon became a regular at a local cantina that was popular among mandalorians on Corellia. Ethan didn't talk with most of his family, and he became something of a recluse, anti-social.
After about a year of this, things finally changed. One night after walking home from the cantina, Ethan walked past a disturbance in an alleyway just outside of the bar. Two thugs were harassing a a small guy, a human male that couldn't have been over eighteen. Ethan step in, and warned the thugs to go away or else. The thugs attacked Ethan instead. He beat both of the thugs and left them unconscious in the alleyway, and then left without saying a word to the victim. For the next few days he was sober, which was unusual at this time, and was thinking about what he was going to do with his life. It felt good to be able to protect those who needed it, just like Torvak had protected him. Ethan decided that was the best way to repay the Captain's sacrifice, by helping others.
Small Beginnings: Age 31
Ethan took the mandalorian armor his grandfather had left him, bought a blaster rifle and a pistol, and informed Mirta of what he was doing. She didn't exactly approve, hoping to leave the bounty hunting life behind her and a her family. But she did give him something as a going away present: her very own beskar saber.
Before starting his new life, Ethan stopped by Concord Dawn first, and had his armor repainted. He had it painted red to honor his father Elias, and to honor Torvak as well. Along with the red he had it detailed yellow as well, just because he thought it looked good together.
After he got all his equipment ready, Ethan was ready to go out and hunt down criminals. The only problem was starting. He didn't know where to get hired. Ethan traveled into Hutt Space, figuring that there has to be someone who wanted to hire a Bounty Hunter on Nar Shaddaa. It was only a few days of drinking in a few local cantina's and listening to people before he found a job.
Apparently, a small time hutt on Nar Shaddaa byt the name of Gardan had put a bounty on one of his freighter captain's head for running spice for a rival hutt from the Smuggler's Moon to Nal Hutta and back again. All the while transporting the spice on Gardan's own ships. The frieghter captain was a green twi'lek by the name of Sharan, and he was hiding out in the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa. It wasn't exactly the kind of thing Ethan wanted to be doing by helping people and hunting criminals, but he had to start somewhere, didn't he?
It took about a week, but Ethan finally found the slimeball of a twi'lek hiding inside what Sharan deemed a “safehouse”, when really it was just an apartment in an abandoned apartment complex. Ethan gave the twi'lek a chance to surrender. Sharan instead tried shooting the fully armored mandalorian. The laser simply deflected off of Ethan's armor into the ceiling. At this point, Ethan used his pistol to blast out Sharan's left knee cap and slap some binds on the twi'lek. His first bounty was caught.
The Hunter with a Conscience: Ages 31 - 33
Ethan continued to do more work for Gardan the Hutt. He did hunt a lot of criminals like he wanted to do, but then again, it seemed like everyone was a criminal on Nar Shaddaa. Ethan's first few jobs for the Hutt were simple bounties. Then he became one of Gardan's enforcers and mercenaries. Ethan wouldn't do any job that involved slaves or harming innocent people. Gardan respected this, not wanting to risk losing one of his more skilled hunters, and soon nicknamed Ethan the “Hunter with a Conscience”. The name stuck, and soon quite a few people knew who Ethan was on Nar Shaddaa.
After about a year of working for Gardan, Ethan had gained Gardan's trust. There were few people the Hutt trusted more in his organization. Anything Ethan needed or wanted, Gardan made sure he had it. Ethan always followed instructions on a bounty to the letter, and tried hard not to slip up. Gardan was so generous to Ethan because the bounty hunter had helped him get his own crime organization started, and always did a good job or the Hutt.
Ethan learned Huttese while working for Gardan. This made it easier to communicate with the Hutt. Gardan was usually destroying his translator droids, which made business slow. This is what prompted Ethan to learn Huttese. He would also translate whenever Gardan was without a droid and he was around. There was more than once incident where Ethan had to dodge Gardan's swings out of the Hutt's natural reaction to slap his droids when he was angry. Gardan would later apologize.
Despite having more money than he knew what to do with, and having a position of power inside an influential hutt's cartel, Ethan wasn't satisfied. Doing a hutts dirty work wasn't why he became a bounty hunter. He just wanted to catch criminals, bring them to justice. He had planned being on Nar Shaddaa only to begin his career, but he soon found he had been dragged in too deep to stop now.
After a couple more years of cleaning out scum for Gardan, Gardan's organization went into a full gang war with Zamoz, the same hutt Sharan had been smuggling for. The first few attacks against Zamoz went well, Ethan was involved in most of the fighting. But Zamoz had numbers on his side, and was soon pushing Gardan's territory further back until he was practically on the doorstep on Gardan's palace.
Gardan started to keep Ethan close by all the time, just incase. But one day, when some of Gardan's mercenaries came back to the palace, Ethan decided something had to be done. The mercenaries that had come back were carrying their comrades, who were horribly injured or killed. It looked as if Zamoz had order flamethrowers to be used on them. Ethan saw good men burnt, and some who weren't even old enough to be men killed.
Ethan left without Gardan knowing. He took some of Gradan's best men with him, about twenty or so hired mercenaries and bounty hunters. Ethan infiltrated Zamoz's territory and slipped into his palace, killing anyone he came across with his beskar saber so they didn't cause a disturbance. Ethan and the others found Zamoz in his throne room, plotting an attack on Gardan's palace. The mercenaries launched their attack, frying the guards and throwing grenades to take out cover. Zamoz's majordomo was killed in the fighting. Zamoz himself escaped before he could be killed, but his crime cartel was now in disarray.
As Ethan and the mercenaries scoured the Hutt's computers for anything Gardan could use again him, Ethan found something very odd. Zamoz had made some deals with the Sith Empire. Mostly business deals, such as trades and money transactions. They provided Zomoz with weapons and military grade gear, which was how Zamoz was able to beat Gardan back so much. Ethan then started to blame the Sith and not Zamoz for the whole gang war.
Achieving Satisfaction: Ages 33 - 38
Gardan didn't appreciate Ethan leaving him at a very vulnerable time, but this was outweighed by the fact that Ethan had lead a successful attack that drove Zamoz offworld. Ethan had a long time to think on his way back to Gardan's palace, and decided he was leaving Hutt Space to go back to the Republic. Gardan didn't want Ethan to leave, and offered him more money and more stuff if he didn't. Ethan turned all his offers down, and the bounty hunter and the Hutt parted amicably.
Ethan settled back down on Corellia once again. But his large house soon became a bounty hunter's headquaters. The whole basement (a very large area, big enough to second as a five speeder garage and work area) was turned into a computer lab. Ethan bought a whole crew of droids to work the computers and keep up on the holonet with news about criminals in Republic space and bounties the Republic had listed. Along with the droids, Ethan bought a Dyamic-Class freighter and named it The Hunter's Conscience.
Ethan fried his first mark in Republic space, a rodian who refused to surrender and instead turned an apartment building into a warzone. Ethan shot all the rodian's droids and finally made it to the 27th floor (starting from a landing pad on the 22nd), where the rodian was hiding. The rodian pulled out a thermal detonator, and Ethan shot him to make sure he didn't set it off.
Bringing his bounty back, it turned out the Republic only wanted captures, not kills. The Republic refused to take care of the body even. So Ethan took the poor Rodian and dumped him in space, a few light-years away from Coruscant.
After this incident Ethan retrofitted one of the quarters on his freighter into a prison and bought different weapons that had stun settings. He made sure to always have a fresh supply of binders as well. Things went okay for a few years. Ethan was becoming more known to the Republic government as a respectable bounty hunter, as he still upheld his rules from his time on Nar Shaddaa: no hurting innocents and no dealing in slaves.
The Renegade Who Had It Made: Age 38
Ethan took on some mercenary work for the Republic as well, busting up pirate groups and smuggling rings alongside the Republic Military or fellow mercenaries. He didn't make any lasting relationships alongside his co-workers, keeping things strictly business. But he did trust all the professionals he worked with to watch his back just as he watched theirs.
Being hired as mercenary is how his bounty hunting career, and life in general, was disrupted in Republic space. It had gone into the news that a Senator's wife, the Senator from Corellia in fact, had been kidnapped. At first the Senator was content to wait it out, and wait for the Republic to get her back. But after a couple of weeks he was fed up with waiting, and had just received another ransom note from the kidnappers, saying they were going to kill her very soon if he didn't give in to their demands.
The senator reached out to Ethan, finding his name fairly easy as he worked for the Republic government during this time. Ethan agreed that the Republic was taking too long, and he was hired by the Senator to go rescue his wife, using any means necessary.
Ethan looked for clues for weeks, talking to and bribing all amounts of people, from family to spaceport officials to information brokers in the seediest cantinas across the Core Worlds. He found that apparently the group was only after as much money they could get their hands on, and was renown in the Outer Rim as pirates and part of a group called the Red Hawks. Ethan had run into them once or twice, and knew from first hand experience that they were not nice people. They didn't care who got in their way, they would blast everyone if they had to to achieve their goals.
Ethan tracked the kidnappers to Ord Mantell. They had a facility there under the front of a shipping business. A republic taskforce was nearby, and had contacted Ethan, tell him to wait for them to move as well. The taskforce was undermanned, having tried once and failing at attacking the pirates.
Ethan convinced the Republic to move once he met up with them. They attacked in the dead of night, the taskforce provided a distraction while Ethan slipped in the back and found the senator's wife. It was simple to get, only a couple of guards and some sercurity systems that weren't up to par. And then he found the senator's wife, who was already dead. The pirates had taken off, and Ethan turned over the body to see just who it was.
He couldn't believe his eyes. It had been so long. It was his old friend and girlfriend, Corana. It had been almost two decades since he had last seen her, but she still looked like he remembered. No one could tell because of his helmet, but Ethan cried. The republic found Ethan kneeling over Corana's body with his blaster out. They thought he had shot her. He argued with them, saying she was already dead when he found her. He said the pirates must've killed her when they were being attacked.
Ethan and the leader of the taskforce, a Captain and a Bothan, got into a heated argument, it soon got physical. Ethan remains unsure to this day who threw the first punch, but it ended as quickly as it started with the Republic soldiers pulling Ethan and the Bothan apart. They apologized to Ethan, saying their Captain had severe anger issues. They let Ethan go, and he was happy to leave the scene behind.
Ethan went back to the nearest town, to drown his sorrows in the bottom of a shot glass. Little did he know that the person in charge of the taskforce, one Captain Trey'la, had falsely accused him of Assault and Murder. A couple of Republic soldiers entered the cantina looking for Ethan, and when he tried to tell them what really happened, they didn't believe him. All they had was the Captain's word versus some mercenary's word. Ethan ran from them, throwing the soldiers out of the way and unwillingly starting a bar fight when one soldier landed on a table and scattered drinks everywhere.
Ethan found his ship locked down by the Republic, in case he came back to it. Ethan had to hide out on Ord Mantell for awhile, which wasn't easy. He had to hide his armor and weapons, and find some place to lie low until he figured out a way to get off planet. Ethan then had an idea. He contacted Gardan the Hutt over the holonet, and Gardan was more than happy to smuggle Ethan offworld, provided he did a couple favors for the Hutt once on Nar Shaddaa. Ethan agreed, not seeing any other choice.
Gardan sent a freighter supposedly trading equipment and supplies in a small village. Ethan was brought aboard with all his equipment, and they flew off world in the dead of night so they wouldn't be too hindered. Ethan was on Nar Shaddaa in a couple of days, and went to see what Gardan had for him to do.
Gardan needed some traitors to his cartel taken care of, so Ethan obliged. After years of hunting criminals for the Republic, Ethan had gotten used to bringing back all his bounties alive. Gardan joked that Ethan was going soft, but was happy anyways. He considered Ethan and himself even, and they parted ways again.
It was lucky that Gardan and Ethan finished all their business when they did, because weeks afterwards, Mandalore called the Clans to war.
Answering Mandalore's Call: Ages 38 - 39
Ethan came when Mandalore called, just like so many other mandalorians from around the galaxy. He felt it was his duty to do so, just like all the others as well. Because of his past in the Republic Navy, Ethan was placed in the new Mandalorian Navy, and was in the position of Captain of a Prudii-Class Cruiser. Ethan was given this rank and command because most other mandalorians didn't have the naval traing he did, and if they did, they were old enough to be admirals instead.
Ethan and his cruiser, christened The Edge of Dawn. Ethan, along with a taskforce, were assigned to guarding and patrolling the space around Concord Dawn. Ethan now considered this planet his home, after having a warrant out for his arrest in the Republic.
Mirta didn't answer the Mandalore's call like Ethan had. Instead, she was allowed to stay and run their company. She helped Ethan sell all his possessions on Corellia, including his house, and bring his swoops and other equipment to Concord Dawn. The only thing Ethan held onto from Corellia was his ownership of Hiker Vehicles, thinking it might come in handy someday, not to mention the money he was still making.
That was, he considered himself a full mandalorian until one skirmish a couple of light-years out of Concord Dawn. Ethan and his taskforce were given the simple job of patrolling around Concord Dawn after the Mandalorians took it back. The Republic had been scouting the area near the planet, and Ethan was tasked with chasing them away. He hid the taskforce he was commanding behind the moon of Concord Dawn, and waited for the scouting force's ships. It was only a couple of scout ships, but Ethan didn't order his force to open fire yet. Instead, they chased the scout ships through hyperspace to their staging point.
The two taskforces met head on, and the small skirmish began. Ethan was able to gain the upper hand through sheer power. He noticed a couple of Hammerheads in group. One had huge Republic-red patches all down the left side. He didn't know the name of the ship, but Ethan knew in his gut it was The White Current. He completely ignored it, acted as if it wasn't there so he didn't have to order his ship to fire upon it.
Ethan was able to chase the Republic forces away, and he knew how much he was kidding himself, saying he was a full mandalorian and all. He would always be a child of two planets, and he couldn't change that. The Mandalorian Navy didn't have therapist like the Republic, but a few officers from The Edge of Dawn filed reports about Ethan ignoring the Hammerhead. Ethan was deemed “emotionally compromised” and was given an ultimatum: leave the military with what honor he had left, or fire on every single Republic ship he came into contact with. Ethan left.
Spearpoint: Age 39
Ethan retired from another military. He went back to Concord Dawn and fixed up the farm he had there. He didn't feel quite as bad about leaving the Mandalorian Navy as he did leaving the Republic. At least the Republic didn't deal with the Sith. Ethan didn't like the Sith one bit.
Then Ethan got an idea and acted on it. Just like he had joined the Republic Navy on a whim. He couldn't join the Republic Navy again, but he was a sure good mercenary. He bought a Cohen-Class frigate from a ship dealer, made sure it still had all it's weapons and such, and repainted it. If the Republic could fight the Sith, why couldn't he?
Ethan Moreill founded the group known as Spearpoint. The faction started as a simple pirate crew looking to make a shiny credit, but Mr. Moreill had no idea how popular the concept would be.
Somehow the word go around through the underworld of a pirate crew that raided the Sith, hampering their supply lines and making money while doing so. This became a popular concept, drawing people in who wanted to fight the Sith, but were unable to join the Republic Military or were discharged from it. But this also gained Spearpoint quite a few enemies in the underworld. Ethan had to find a planet on which the group could hide. using Hiker Vehicles, Ethan bought the rights to a little out of the ways planet called Oatara. Using the company as a front, no one suspected what Ethan was actually doing there, and that was building a base for Spearpoint.
Spearpoint continues to raid minor Sith targets to this day, and with different degrees of success. While no total disasters have happened, missions don't always go according to plan. The faction has continued to do this over the course of about six months. Ethan never really wanted to run a such a group, but you don't always get what you want. He has tried to take everything in stride, doing the best he can running Spearpoint, but he can't do it without help, which is why he's always looking for more people to hire to help him.

Ethan stepped inside the dimly lit building and stood at the doorway for a few seconds. The Star Diver wasn't the most popular cantina around but it was popular among offworlders, either stopping for quick refuel before heading for Sith Space or for a longer stay to sell their goods. Either way it didn't matter. It always attracted a crowd and was very public, the kind of place Ethan liked to meet contacts at.
Ethan walked somewhat slowly towards the bar, scanning the area as he did so. His armored head turned from right to left and back again. Yes, Ethan was wearing his full suit of armor. He had only been inside The Star Diver a couple of times, he could count them on one hand. He didn't know what kind of people frequented the cantina. And the contact was someone new. It was better to be safe than sorry. Besides, it wasn't as if anyone cared. Beskar'garm was quite common on Concord Dawn.
Ethan sat down at the bar, adjusting his beskad as he did so. There was a human behind the counter, short and with fading black hair. He was cleaning a glass with a rag that could've used a good cleaning itself. Several different ales and brews lined the wall behind the bartender on shelves, along with a few more glasses that needed cleaning.
“What'll it be?” The bartender asked Ethan, not looking away from the glass he was holding.
“Corellian Ale, in a clean glass.” Ethan answered. He pulled off his helmet and set it on the counter in front of him. Not many people would've guessed Ethan was a mandalorian if he hadn't been wearing his armor. You only found red hair like his on Corellia, his homeworld. And between his facial hair and the good amount he kept on his head, there was a lot of it.
“You here for somethin', or just the drink?” The bartender asked as he set Ethan's drink down next to his helmet. “I don't want no trouble. You mandalorians are always coming in here and startin' fights.”
“No, I'm not here to cause trouble mister. Just the drink for now.” Ethan replied. Although that wasn't true at all. He was suppose to be meeting someone here who had information on a bounty. Ethan glanced at the clock on the wall to the left of him. His contact was late. He hoped nothing happened to him.
Ethan sat at the bar and finished his drink. No one came around to bother or harass him. Ethan waited for about thirty minutes for his contact to come around, but no one did. Something probably happened. It was time to find out what. He dropped the credits he owed on the counter and picked up his helmet. He put the red piece of armor on his head as he stepped out of the building. This could be a rough part of town at night.

Shoulder Cape... thingy I guess? > Photo!
