The Hero of Yaga Minor, Haar'dul'tal'din
Jedi Master, Guardian
Race • Human Birthplace • Concord Dawn Age • 34 Gender • Male Sexuality • Hetero Faction • Republic, Jedi Concept • Master, Guardian (Rank 3) Languages • Basic, Mando’a About? A Jedi Guardian and a Master of the Jedi Order, Kol Gedyc is a gifted lightsaber combatant specializing in Soresu, Shien, and Djem So, as these forms work well with his overly large stature. Despite this, however, Kol detests violence and would avoid it whenever possible. If you were to ask him, he had enough of it during the War, as he served on the front lines of most major engagements. The Jedi spends little time at the Temple on Coruscant, using what spare moments he can when in between missions to help rebuild on the border planets of the Republic. He is a kind individual, compassionate and caring. Direct approaches to issues are Kol's forte, as he likes to keep things simple and straight-forward. Most recently, the man is learning that the Galaxy is a far more complicated place than the simple black-and-white view he had during the War. Friends? Kol finds most Jedi easy to get along with, so long as they're not the self-righteous, stubborn type. In fact, the Jedi Master will get along with just about anyone, so long as they're not too full of themselves. He doesn't manipulate well, and is quite proud of being able to be transparent. Kol has a simple sense of humor, a bit dry and perhaps with some gentle teasing, once you get to know him. When it comes to a mission or goal, Kol will work with just about anyone as long as their objectives are aligned. The Jedi has been know to even partner with a few, select Sith from time to time. So if you're looking for a friend, come on over and grab and beer, kick your feet up, shuffle the cards and Kol will do his best to make you feel welcomed. Enemies? Kol doesn't have any particularly noteworthy rivals, at this point and time. Perhaps a Sith Lord or two that would wish him dead for his antics during the War, or a pirate group that he foiled while protecting a small Republic colony on the border. And as a Jedi, Kol tries his best to not keep a collection of enemies on hand. Also as a Jedi, Kol will stop any threat to the Republic that he sees, whether it's Sith, Mandalorians, or any sort of Fringe element. Beyond the Republic, Kol does what he can to look out for the little guy, the everyday man. It's part of the reason he spends so much time on the border planets. Lovers? Potentially, but none at the moment. Despite being a Jedi Master, Kol has always struggle with one particular issue, and has had one bane follow him through life; emotions, relationships, and attraction. It is not as if the Jedi keeps a revolving door of women through his life, in fact, there has only every been one notable entanglement so far. But Kol can find himself caring far too much, too quickly. Focusing on someone when his attention should be elsewhere. Letting his emotions get the better of him where someone he cares about is concerned. He knows what the Jedi Code says, about attachments and romance, and why it is important to follow, and yet the Jedi still finds himself slipping from time to time. Kol doesn't move fast, when it comes to relationships. If he is interested in someone and they're interested in him back, he'll engage in endless, light and sweet flirting. Combined with his currently changing view of the Galaxy from the simple black-and-white he once saw, the right person at the wrong time could cause the Jedi Master to make some life-altering decisions. Wanted? A Jedi Apprentice would be an ideal companion for Kol to take on at the moment. Failing that, a semi-permanent traveling companion, whether it would be another Jedi, or perhaps an astromech droid. Kol is always open for any sorts of ideas for threads. |
Captain of the Our Lady of Onderon
Smuggler, All-Around Space Cowboy
Race • Human Birthplace • Iziz, Onderon Age • 31 Gender • Male Sexuality • Hetero Faction • Fringe Concept • Smuggler (Rank 3) Languages • Basic, Mando’a, Huttese, Shyriiwook About? Pash Arlos is a Smuggler, Mercenary, and all around Space Cowboy from Iziz, Onderon. From a young age he survived on his own, before being shanghai'd into a crew, and jumping from one ship to another. The man has lived a pretty rough and tumble life, always on the move, and with little stability save for his co-pilot and best friend Gaarchiir, and his pride and joy, The Our Lady of Onderon. Pash can be crass, rude, and sarcastic. He is prideful of his abilities and his adventures, and if one didn't know better, his attitude would better fit a Corellian than an Onderonian. Also, it should be said that Pash isn't above ripping off gangsters, especially if he doesn't like what they're doing, and they've already paid him. Yet, there is a soft center to the hard Smuggler. He cares deeply for those around him and close to him, and would go to any length for them. He has a heart of gold, and though he may complain, he'll always do the right thing. He can be empathetic for those in similar positions as he once was. Like quite a few, Pash is a veteran of the War against the Sith Empire, having enlisted in the Republic Navy and flown a starfighter. All in all, Pash Arlos is my tribute and take on Han Solo, my favorite character from the Star Wars universe. Friends? Pash has a few friends, though they're spread throughout the Galaxy at this current time. Fellow smugglers, charming con-artists, lovers who ended things on good terms. They're never always around, but they're always somehow there when Pash needs them most. And he, too, shows up when his friends need him. There is, however, the best friend that Pash had ever had, who constantly travels by his side. The Wookiee Gaarchiir was imprisoned with Pash at one point in time. The two however were able to work together and stage a mass riot and break out, and have been traveling together ever since. It started with Gaarchiir swearing a life debt to Pash, but the pair have saved each others lives so many times, they stopped keeping track. Now, Gaarchiir is the first mate on The Our Lady of Onderon, Pash's ship. Smuggling has never been easier, than with a Wookiee by Pash's side. Enemies? You don't get to be one of the best smugglers in the Galaxy, with the fastest ship in the Outer Rim Territories without breaking a few eggs. And then stomping on the yokes. And then smearing your egg-y shoe all over the tile floor in your kitchen. Remember when I said Pash wasn't above ripping off gangsters? Lyle Rourke, a small time Sith Aristocrat but large time crime boss in Imperial Space, once wanted Pash and Gaarchiir to smuggle some weapons to the Republic world of Kuat. To rebels. Given Pash's former service in the Republic military, the Smuggler didn't take to this job so well. So he stole the weapons and sold them to some mercenaries on Nal Hutta. Rourke didn't take too kindly to this, and has been up Pash's sublight drive ever since. And if there's someone that Pash hates more than the Aristocrat, it's Mandalorians. Just in general. As a child surviving on his own, Pash was shanghai'd into a Mandalorian crew, who treated him like crap and abused him, until his escape as a teenager. They hounded him whole life, until most recently when Pash killed the man whom had kidnapped him. When it comes to trouble with the law Pash isn't above firing on Imperial or Mandalorian soldiers, but will never draw his blaster against the Republic, who he views as his former brothers-in-arms. Lovers? Maybe. Pash likes to flirt, and has had his fair share of ex-girlfriends and one-nights stands, as well as one relationship which was quite serious. No more than usual, for a typical Spacer. Though he's content with this for now, the soft center to the man would like to find someone, something, more permanent. But Pash is always in the move, always in danger, and always on some crazy adventure. He would need someone who could keep up with him, put up with his crazy antics, and handle his crass attitude. Alternatively, a "friends-with-benefits" situation could work, if the special someone didn't travel with the Smuggler. But if they didn't travel on The Our Lady of Onderon, there would never be a guarantee that Pash would ever come back. Wanted? Someone adopting Gaarchiir's NPC app and making it into a full PC is most wanted, at the moment. This, however, would require a serious dedication to the RP, as Gaarchiir always travels with Pash. Friendly PCs that tie back to the man's past and work well with his background are always welcomed. Potential lovers can be considered, as long as it's nothing too serious at the moment. Most spots on The Our Lady of Onderon for a crew have already been filled. Ideas for threads are always welcomed, but Pash is less free than a certain Jedi Master listed above. |
