The sound of a lightsaber carving through the air echoed throughout the ship as it entered Coruscant airspace. Xell's Shii-cho had gone from second nature to instinctual and reflexive, showing that his mastery was growing. Still, the boy had not quite mastered it, as performing the attacks without thought was not quite the same as using them in the midst of battle.
The training youth's breathing slowed down to a calm and silent level as he turned to Sherasti's room. Surely she was awake, but he decided an excersise of his telepathic prowess was in need. Xell sheathed his lightsaber, flicking the switch to allow the azure beam to seep away into the handle with a telltale whooshing noise.
Xell allowed his mind to go blank and attempted to sense his master's subconscious thoughts, but found that it was much harder than before. Perhaps now that they were not under the veil of danger that he was surrounded by earlier that week his senses were no longer pushed beyond their limits. Likewise, as empathic a link as he and Sherasti now had there was still difficulty reaching out to her without her reaching out to him first.
Then again, his master could just be avoiding allowing him to hear her thoughts while she sleeps. Was that even possible?
Xell pushed the thought from his mind and walked over to the ship's main computer before opening the console from below and seeing amongst the jungle of wires and circuitry, Timmy had made his nest. Xell smiled and reached into his coat before removing a piece of cheese and dropping it amongst the wires. He held a finger up to his lips in a "shhh!" motion before reclosing the console. He could hear the mewing of his little friend as he nibbled away at the cheese. He was sure Sherasti knew the rodent was being hidden from her, and likely knew exactly where, but it was nice of her not to have devoured him by now.
With that done, Xell turned back to the mess hall to begin preparing food for he and his master's breakfast. The ship's auto pilot announced that merely a half-hour from now would be all the time between their landing. Hopefully Sherasti heard the announcement.
The sight of passing by ships and misty clouds came into view outside of the cockpit. Then, the skyline around Coruscant and the rooftops of buildings that peaked out of said clouds dotted the area leading up to the temple. "We're home." said Xell with a pleased sigh.

Sherasti took most of the half hour of final approach to get dressed for the day. Though her side was much improved and she had enough blood in her veins, it was still very tender. If she slouched, tension was put on the wound. Luckily though, she had good posture.
But it still made undressing and redressing into lengthy and delicate tasks.
Outside she could distinctly hear the sounds of a thimiar. Togruta hearing was always acute, but when it came to the vocalizations of their primary prey animal it was truly astonishing. Unfortunately it was also frustrating. Xell would never forgive her if she ate his new 'pet.' But at the same time, the thimiar was causing damage to the ship's systems no doubt. And it really did serve no purpose, it was supposed to have been her meal.
Sherasti made a mental note to sit down with Xell and make it quite clear what thimiars did. Burrow, make nests out of assorted materials, and reproduce in large numbers. Two of the three had already happened on the ship, and she was determined to make sure his pet collection remained at 'one.'
The Togruta Jedi pressed the door release and softly padded out into the rest of the ship, looking around and noticing Xell had made breakfast. While she wasn't opposed to human food, it didn't really capture her attention. She continued moving slowly forward in the ship.
She came to a stop right behind Xell in the cockpit just in time to hear his pronouncement.
She nodded her agreement. "There's no place like it."
Belatedly she realized though that she had two homes. The Jedi Temple and Shili. But the Temple was still her first home and held a special place in her heart. Its halls were soothing, and it was the perfect place to recover her strength. To be sure, her injuries would also need some more detailed tending. Luckily though, the Temple was home to some of the finest healers in the galaxy. She had no doubts her recovery would be full.

Xell and Sherasti stand at the exit of their returned ship, the Togruta favoring her side despite her smile. This caused Xell's own smile to fade. He was happy to be home, and even happier that he had good news about his trial. But Sherasti had not been aiding him in his training, and after returning from her feeding sessions in her room she seemed winded. It was as if the pain she was bearing was far worse than he'd originally thought.
As both young Jedi made their way down the erecting loading ramp onto the hard marble floor Xell made sure to place an arm underneath the Sherasti's own as support. They walked away from the retracting ramp and continued onward. Ship maintenance workers rushed toward the ship to prepare refueling and other necessary upkeep. Xell turned back and swallowed hard, sweat forming on his brow.
"Good thing I cleaned up the thimiar droppings underneath the console..." whispered Xell before he let out an embarassed chuckle. Sherasti could feel him hastening their walking speed.
A good 3 meters away from their starting point Xell and Sherasti reached the elevator, which slowly opened to a dulcet chime. They both stepped inside.
"Um... where to master? First thing is we have to get your side looked at. Does it hurt bad? I'm sure there are some painkillers or something I can find for you... and don't worry, I'll be there the whole time. Are you afraid of needles? Or hospitals for that matter? I'm sure we could get a doctor to meet us at your room if that's more comfortable...
Xell continued ranting and raving about his master's pain. He wasn't speaking 100 miles an hour like he usually does when uncomfortable or concerned, but Sherasti definately couldn't get a word in edgewise either.

Sherasti waited patiently until Xell was finished talking before she opened her own mouth to speak. She knew from experience that letting him talk at will was better than trying to interrupt him. Certainly it was all she felt capable of doing.
Her face seemed lined and her violet eyes were rather sunken, she just seemed generally tired. Her injury had taken it out of her. And she had to admit, it was still... awkward. There was a dull ache in her side. It was a welcome change from the sharp pain it had been at first, but it was still pain. She hoped the healers could treat her properly.
And Xell made a good point. She didn't like hospitals or needles. Like most Togruta, she preferred more naturalistic methods of healing. And she knew there were Jedi healers of both sorts. She would be much more at ease in her own familiar room.
"I would actually be more comfortable in my own quarters. Would you mind contacting one of the healers and having him meet us there?"
It was an interesting reversal of roles. Sherasti was the one asking her Padawan for help. It was odd, and the sheepish expression on her face showed she realized that much.
She did her best to smile for Xell, but it was still a bit thin.

Xell had a funny feeling as he and Sherasti rode on the elevator down to the main floor, as it opened to a larger area that leads to each specific wing of the temple. He wasn't mistaking his master's reliance on him as some sort of show of affection, but it did make him feel like an alpha male. Men wanted to be useful to women. It was hardwired in their dna. That way Especially beautiful ones. And to have her openly accept his aid despite the difference in their status also stroked his ego as the would be superhero knight he aspired to be.
"I would actually be more comfortable in my own quarters. Would you mind contacting one of the healers and having him meet us there?"
Xell beamed brilliantly as he smiled a cheshire grin. He was eager to aid Sherasti in any way, no matter how.
"Right! Right, so I just have to find a doctor. Any particular doctor in mind? I was thinking I could run around and find the best by speaking to each one? Maybe get a reference from passersby or even better, I could use the intercom system to call for all medical aid throughout the temple. You know what's even better? We could probably have doctors out of the temple come by! Or maybe that's too taboo. Then again if it makes you feel better it's worth it, am I right?"
Xell calmed him self down and rolled his eyes upward and to the left. Anyone trained in reading facial expressions would have realized this represented a person being in thought, accessing their imagination portion of their brain to think up a reaction to whatever problem they were being faced with. Usually used to tell when someone is lying.
"Wait... when Orren mentioned me needing a new master there was a list of potential candidates. There was one in particular... he was a healer. Not just a medical specialist but a healer.
Xell looked at Sherasti's side and held her arm tighter.
"If I remember correctly he's a... a hutt. The name escapes me though."
Sherasti and Xell continued their trek to her living quarters. Xell's heart beat hastened for whatever reason.
I'm gonna be alone with her in her room? I'll have to help her in bed... maybe help her remove her robe...
Xell's face though of a caramel complexion now had a rosey pigmant. For whatever reason, he was blushing.

"Mal Konti," Sherasti provided the name. "I met him once before. Just before I met you actually."
There were a very limited number of Hutts in the Jedi Order, and she'd already met the healer, though only briefly. She'd brought in the insane grey Jedi Halc Greimer from the emptiness of space, and the Hutt had seen what he could do to provide help for him.
Now maybe he'd be able to help her as well.
Certainly she had faith in his skills. He was a Jedi healer after all, and that distinction was important to her. There were probably other healers just as capable, but someone more or less familiar would be more welcome.
Their conversation had carried them a surprising distance, and they came to a stop before Sherasti's door. The statuesque Togruta Jedi looked at Xell, cognizant of the fact he was blushing and guessing the reasons.
She smiled with an expression of tired bemusement. "Xell, you already saw me twice before. That night when you screamed and I ran out, and then when you undressed me to treat my injury. Do you really need a third time?"
She laid a hand on his shoulder to make clear she wasn't angry or judgmental as she went back to 'business.'
"Please don't bother the whole Temple on my account. Just go and find Mal and tell him I'm injured. I'll wait for you inside."

Xell nodded. Mal Konti. That was it.
"Okay. Got it. Mal Konti. I'll have him down here in 2 shakes of a thimiar's tail."
Sherasti smiled down at the young padawan, likely figuring out exactly what he was thinking of, much to his dismay. Before he could open his mouth, she adressed his thoughts without the need of telepathy.
"Xell, you already saw me twice before. That night when you screamed and I ran out, and then when you undressed me to treat my injury. Do you really need a third time?"
Xell's pinkish cheeks turned a color similar to Sherasti's natural skin tone now.
"I've heard proverbs and fables that state too much of a good thing will eventually become a bad thing. After that night I can proudly say that that is a bold faced lie."
Xell shook his head before laughing aloud and walking his master into the room. Despite it having that female touch it still felt very natural and earthy. He found his attention to detail detracting from his duties for a moment as he allowed Sherasti to walk over to her bed alone.
Each item in the room he wasn't familiar with was on the tip of his tongue as he'd seen them in his encyclopedia, but wanted to learn about it from her instead. And even though he did, he bit his tongue as he found a cardboard box with airholes in the corner furthest from her bed.
"...right. So you're good? Everything's fine? Enough pillows? Hungry, thirsty?" asked Xell with a rapidfire salvo of questions while slowly backing out of the room. She shook her head and Xell waved before leaving to find the jedi Mal Konti.

Mal had been resting soundly for the past five hours after putting Halc Greimer is new ward through some mental force trials. Both were exhausted Halc more so. For the last two days Mal and Halc had been going at it mentally. Finding pieces, binding them to his fragile mind and then testing Halc's limits. So Mal's mind was at it top and most sensitive when a pain ripped through the Healers wing of the temple. As he roused himself a young human was banging upon his door rambling non-stop of pain, blood, she wounded, and nudity.
Mal opened one of his eyes and moved the young human out of the way and headed to the ER to find his patient only to see no new ones there that is when he mentioned that she is in her room. Frowning at the padawaan Mal moved the young one to an lab desk and looked up the young ones information. His master came back as Sherasti.
Quickly searching the temple for her room through the force he then felt the pain and the stitched up wound upon her side.
Grabbing the young human by the cuff he dragged him over to a healing tub and said......
You will follow me with this tub. If you break it you will work for me till you pay it off got it!! Now follow ME!
Mal moved with great speed as he raced down the halls. His mass hitting the floor made for enough noise that no one need to be warned to get out of the way. His enhanced speed by the force also made the journey to Sherasti's room quickly. Coming to the room he slowed as the doors opened, he slithered into the room with quiet grace.
Looking at Sherasti-How many times have I requested a healer go on missions whether hazardous or not?-Mal looked at Sherasti-First you bring me a shattered Jedi now you yourself are hurt. You might want to invest in carbon fibered armer next time or people will start to talk... about your need for excuses to come to the Healers wing.

In Xell's absence, Sherasti had shed her outer robes and laid herself down on her bed. Her lower body was covered by her usual skirt, but from her waist up she was wearing a dull yellow halter top that always served as her underclothing. It showed off much more of her red skin and her curves than she ever allowed visible normally. But it was a need this time. Undoubtedly Mal would need to examine the wound itself and the stitching Xell had done his best with.
As the Hutt healer himself entered the room, Sherasti waved halfheartedly to him.
First you bring me a shattered Jedi now you yourself are hurt...
She smiled peacefully, noting the irony but not disturbed by it.
"Thank you for coming Mal. I know I'm in good hands."
The Togruta lifted the side of her shirt, revealing the jagged line of rudimentary stitches extending from the uppermost part of her hip to her ribs. It looked as uncomfortable as it felt. But nothing was actively bleeding. And that was something at least.
"I fell through a duct, and the sharp edge cut through my side. It was deep in some places. I don't know if all my organs are fine, but I'm reasonably sure they are. I'm still alive after all." She ended her statement with a weak attempt at humor, but her face showed concern as she waited for Mal to examine her injuries.

Mal examined the crude stitching of make do.
Next time before you leave out come by and borrow a med nurse droid of mine. It will help out better and fit in most foot lockers.-looking back at the door-Boy get that thing in here and don't worry she's not nude....yet.
The Healers tub was settled by Sherasti's bed Mal unsealed the tub and through the force he lifted her gently into the tub.
Now just relax I'll do my best to not leave a scar or at the very least a noticeable one.
Mal closed his eyes and delved deep into the force and laying his hands into the tub he moved the force from his nearly motionless fingers to the wound at her side. The koltor healing agent was starting to clean the wound as he removed the stitching. The flesh was already trying to heal back but toxins and bacteria was setting up house as well. gently opening the wound ever so slightly Mal cleansed and helped the flesh to regenerate back as if it had never be apart.
Sighing Mal worked long he was not sure how long he had been at it but the first stages were done, cleansing and debrising. Setting back Mal rested for a bit also he wanted to see how she was doing as well.
You'll be happy to know that Halc is getting better. He might even like to see you..... but I fear that if he did now the progress would hurt him more than any thing as late has. Maybe in a week or two would be best for the both of you.

Xell rang his hands together as he waited outside of Sherasti's door. He couldn't quite place a finger on why he felt so apprehensive, or what he was worried about. She was in good hands. Not only was she seeking true medical help superior to the makeshift stitching and healing she had to make due with on the past mission, but he was a Jedi, so his intentions couldn't be anything but well.
...could they?
Xell peeked in to see how things were going. His timing was impeccable as at that time the Hutt motioned and beckoned him to bring him a tool Xell obliged, making sure to glance over Sherasti every few seconds. Everything seemed to be okay.
"So is everyth--"
Xell stopped his sentence short as he noticed that the Hutt seemed to be drawing on his proficiency with wielding the force inorder to meld her flesh back together. Seeing the wound reopen was nauseating, and caused Xell to bite his lip as he feared what Mal was doing was even more painful than the original injury. But Xell knew better than to interrupt such a complicated and volitile procedure. He simply twiddled his thumbs a bit more and swallowed his fears.
You'll be happy to know that Halc is getting better. He might even like to see you..... but I fear that if he did now the progress would hurt him more than any thing as late has. Maybe in a week or two would be best for the both of you.
Xell's somber eyes grew serious and narrow. "Wait, what? Who would like to see her?" asked Xell. This was the first he had heard of this 'Halc', and it sounded as if he really wanted to see Sherasti.
The young padawan turned to Sherasti, then to Mal. Suddenly Sherasti's near death experience was far less worrying.

Sherasti calmed herself as Mal removed the stitches. Her teeth gritted and she winced slightly at some points. Her flesh itself was sore, understandably slow. And reopening the wound was causing fresh pain. Undoubtedly an infection of some sort had started and the kolto was eliminating it.
It was a peculiar sting followed by a relaxing numbness. The last time she'd been treated with kolto she was unconscious. So the experience was new for her.
Her face relaxed as the pain subsided, and a peaceful expression appeared on her features.
"I would like to see Halc again. I hope his recovery hasn't lessened his happiness at all. I wouldn't want his well-being to come at the cost of his soul."
The Togruta lapsed into silence for a moment, then noticed Xell's comment as it was made. Much to her surprise, she thought she detected a hint of jealousy in his voice.
"Wait, what? Who would like to see her?"
She wanted to reassure him and beckon him closer, but a quick glance at her folded clothes lying at the foot of her bed pointed out two reasons why it wasn't wise. He might be distracted by the large amount of bare skin, and it was likely he'd find the gaping wound in her side nauseating. So she decided to give him a reassuring look and an explanation, trusting their connection was strong enough for him to have some reassurance.
"Halc Greimer is an... unstable Aleena I met lost in space on a drifting freighter. He was damaged by torture and horrors neither of us can fully understand. I brought him back to the Temple to see if his shattered mind could be healed."
She looked to Mal and smiled thinly. "But I know he is in the best of hands."

Xell swallowed hard and took a step back. He had embarassed himself. Jealousy didn't suit him, and the fact that he was having an ill temper toward this man he had never met before made things look even worse. He felt a need to apologize but thought that keeping quiet was the best reaction he could make.
Sherasti looked to Mal and smiled thinly. "But I know he is in the best of hands."
"W-well, that's good then. Good that your friend is being helped by um... by Mal. I hope he recovers."
Xell sat down in a chair near the door. He was sure that Mal Konti could pick up on Xell's stronger than necessary attachment to Sherasti. Hopefully he wouldn't question it. Much.
"So, do we get a clean bill of health for my master here? How long until she's swinging her lightsaber around with the best of 'em?"
Xell was clearly changing the subject, but he was also worried about Sherasti's health. He was happy that he didn't worsen her condition with his amateur medical attention.

Closing his eyes Mal leaned forward again to take a second go of treatment for Sherasti's wound. He used the force to enhance the healing time and strengthen the new tissue growing. then he searched deeper into Sherasti's internal organs. There he found internal bruising and some clotting. Here too he opened up the force to breaking the larger clots to speed healing and reduce the healing time. Some of the organs were injured. Nothing that a week or two of rest and force enhanced healing wouldn't solve.
Sighing again....One must not rush healing. Although here wound is closed properly the flesh is still fairly weak. So.... NO strenuous activity for two weeks. You may get around and start walking in about a week but not from one end of the temple to the other mind you.
Looking at Sherasti's padawaan....-If you intend on trying your hand at healing then I suggest you stop by my lab for some training. I can give you enough training for a field medic may need. Yet seeing the current run of things a nurse bot might be a grand benefit to you both.
Now if you will get your Master a sheet or some thing while she rest here for a bit.
Turning back to Sherasti....Now how is the pain?

There wasn't exactly pain associated with the healing. Sensation was a better term. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. There were moments of pressure, small moments where she felt pins and needles, and the unusual numb feeling she was associating with the kolto.
On the whole though, it wasn't an experience she had any desire to repeat.
Her face fell at the prognosis. A week confined to her quarters was a difficult prospect for multiple reasons. Her routine at the Temple would be hampered considerably. And most of all, she'd be a burden on Xell. He'd have to do more than visit her quarters for meditation and training sessions, he'd have to take care of her. Bring her food and the like. She seriously hoped she wouldn't have to rely on him for help changing or bathing...
The thought made her 'blush,' the chevron-like striping on her lekku and montrals became a lighter blue and her cheeks turned slightly more orange.
Luckily even when more freshly injured she'd still been able to dress and undress without the need of help. But she honestly wasn't sure if she'd be able to get out of her bed without help. It was considerably lower to the ground than the hospital bed she'd been on during the flight home to Coruscant. She'd find a way. Even when injured she'd keep her dignity.
She responded to Mal's question about the pain serenely. "It is manageable. If you're done for the moment I'd like a private word with my Padawan."
The Togruta assumed from the request for a sheet that her session of healing was done with. Presumably she'd dry herself off once freed from the tub, then she could rest. But there was something she had to do first. Talk to her Padawan.
She turned her violet eyes to Xell and smiled wearily. She needed to apologize to him. Apologize for letting herself be injured and for depriving him of the kind of instruction he needed. And ask him for a favor. She couldn't tie down Mal taking care of her from day to day. She needed someone to help her, if only for the week. But she wouldn't make assumptions over what her Padawan would do. She had to ask him for help.

Mal nodded and said ... As you wish.
Turning to leave the room he leaned over to Xell.
I'll have a nurse come by twice a day to help the two of you out on ..... certian times of the day. If anything come up call me. She may be your master but she is my ...... only friend.
Mal exited the door and headed back to the lab to make the report of healing Sherasti wound and set a very reliable nurse to help care for her and Xell.

Xell mulled over the thought of gaining medical expertise in his head before going to grab a sheet. It would definately have made the scare they had back during his trial less horrifying. Likewise it would help to be able to tend to his own body if he were to get injured when Sherasti wasn't around. Atleast some medical training would be preferable to none at all.
Xell prepared to speak to Mal to take him up on his offer, but he stopped. While he was gone, who would watch Sherasti? Who would help her to eat and wash and... dress? Certainly not some cold fingered droid or some lecherous old man. No, that was Xell's privele- responsibility.
Xell brought the sheet and watched as Mal left the room. The Hutt spoke earnestly as he left, of his relationship with Xell's master.
I'll have a nurse come by twice a day to help the two of you out on ..... certian times of the day. If anything come up call me. She may be your master but she is my ...... only friend.
Xell nodded. You have my word. Thank you.
As Mal Konti left the room Xell turned back to his smiling master as he approached, though stayed at a comfortable distance as not to make her blush any worse. "So I get to wait on you hand and foot huh? Awesome. I can't think of a better way to spend my free time than helping you undress." joked the young Padawan. Granted, he wasn't attempting to embarass her any further. Instead he wanted to lighten the mood.
Sherasti had already taken a hit to her pride by having her life saved by her Padawan. She likely didn't want her reliance on him to become a habit. And Xell could not blame her. That's why he couldn't flat out ask her to rely on him. He could only make it seem as though it was not much of a big deal. Which wasn't hard, as it wasn't a big deal to him. He wanted to be as much help to her as possible, so spending a week aiding her as she healed was no bother at all.

Sherasti tried to ignore Xell's joke, but she did blush again. She couldn't help it. Essentially anything involving being exposed caused that reaction. And it wasn't even being exposed that was against. On Shili she'd worn considerably less attire, but it was a place where everyone did. And it felt more like family there. She didn't have to worry about being a distraction there. With Xell she did. In a strange way she found it flattering as well as embarrassing. She felt that just knuckling under and exposing herself wasn't an option. That would be failing in her duties as Xell's master. However, she could avoid addressing it. And she intended to.
"Close your eyes for a moment Xell."
The Togruta Jedi placed her hands on the sides of the tubs and pushed up with her arms, trying to avoid using the muscles in her side. But it wasn't an easy task. Her left arm had virtually no strength thanks to her Trial of the Flesh. She simply couldn't raise herself up using her arms.
Her side took a great deal of strain. Too much strain. Sherasti gasped in pain as she splashed back down into the tub again.
She hung her head and blushed wildly. She couldn't even get out of a tub without help. It was humiliating for her. And now it meant Xell was going to have to pick her up from the tub and raise her to the bed.
The Togruta wasn't especially heavy, but Xell didn't seem especially strong. Lifting her would be a challenge for him. And then there was the more difficult aspect.
He'd be seeing her in the attire she normally wore under her clothes. A minimal halter top and her panties. And on top of that she was covered in a kolto solution that would undoubtedly glisten on her skin. And Xell would have to touch her in that condition.
It wasn't that she believed he'd suddenly turn into a sex demon. But she didn't want to lead him on. She didn't want to make appearances in his teenage dreams. But she had no choice but to ask him for help.
"I- I need help Xell. Can you lift me?"

"I- I need help Xell. Can you lift me?"
Xell's mouth went agape in shock. She was asking him, so for the record, she could not hold him responsible for whatever happens. She asked for his masculine touch. The apprehensive youth turns to look at the closed door before swallowing hard and taking a step forward. He closed his eyes as his master instructed earlier, hoping not to offend.
"You know, I'm hurt that you think you'd have to ask. I would've carried you the moment you showed signs that you need it. We're partners, right?" said Xell in earnest. His feet squeaked against the wet floor caused from Sherasti's splashing liquid onto the metallic tiles."I would expect the same aid from you if I needed it."
Xell, with eyes closed (as his master had not instructed him to open them), walked slowly until his knees bumped against the tub. He rolled either sleeve up to what he considered a comfortable position. This would have been alot easier with the aid of eyesight, but he would not make his master feel ashamed from his gawking eyes. He would soldier on and finish this task sightless.
"Good, now... where are you?" asked Xell as he half bent over and reached his hands down to where he thought Sherasti's were, inorder to grab hold of his own. He felt nothing. Puzzled, the young padawan bent further, his hand now touching the warm contents of the bath.
He could hear Sherasti stating that opening his eyes was okay, as she had her under clothing on, but no, Xell knew she felt awkward in her underwear around him, so he put her objections aside and reached upward. He felt a warm, slick sensation against his palm. It was full and round. Her shoulder most likely. He squeezed her shoulder reassuringly, hoping that it would calm her shuddering body.
"Now now master, no need to feel scared. You're not that much heavier than me. I can totally- hey. Your shoulder... is it broken? It's all soft and mushy."
Xell tilted his head in confusion and outstretched his fingers to palm the athletic shoulder of his master. "It doesn't hurt when I do this, does it?" asked the concerned youth.
Xell continued squeezing in rapid succession for however long it took for Sherasti to realize that he was indeed not squeezing her shoulder.

Sherasti's eyes widened as Xell groped her by accident. And continued to do so. She was absolutely mortified and frozen, and as soon as she had her wits about her she gently slapped away his hand.
"That wasn't my shoulder..." Sherasti said awkwardly as she continued to blush.
She wasn't upset with Xell. She was simply embarrassed. She honestly couldn't think of a time where she'd ever been touched there before. She didn't mind physical contact, but that was too much.
It was preferable for Xell to see her than to touch her in... inappropriate places. Ideally of course she could have clambered out of the tub on her own. But it was definitely not ideal. From the moment she was injured nothing had been ideal.
This wasn't the way she'd expected her master/padawan relationship to be. She'd had notions of being a guide and a teacher who sat detached and observed, offering bits of advice as needed. Instead she was reliant on her Padawan and exposing herself to him. So much for that detachment...
She sighed.
"Xell, just open your eyes please. You can't pick me up if you can't see where I am. Just try to not let your eyes wander."
