ok so you guys know me by know... its kinda like "oh god heres leo proposing a battle again" but i think that the republic (and maybe some jedi) should work cooperatively to end the Zabrak situation on kashyyk. This would probably cause the wookiees to join the republic, or at least aid them in some way... as the wookies do like to repay people for their favors. My character is on korriban turning his padawan to the light side right now, but he has strong relations with the wookiees and would probably participate in this matter. What do the mods think? should the jedi or the republic team up with wookiee forces to end this menace? Maybe.... if the just the jedi helped, the planet would be "jedi space" but probably not.... anyways... thoughts?
(a mod would probably play the zabby commander)

Republic wouldn't get involved. It's a porkbarrel project. The Zabs give the Republic senators a decent amount of cash to look the other way and the Jedi don't have the manpower or authority to just hop in and say "end this now!"

Ok, well i can understand the republic bit but can we send maybe like 2-10 jedi to Kashyyk? and they could then rally wookiee leaders and wookiee forces to attack the zabraks? i mean, wookiees are wookiees, they are good at killing things.

If you have a Jedi this is really an open board. You can go and try to inspire the Wookies to rebel, but know, if the Council does not approve, there may be consequences. Plus the Republic may blame you for cutting off their cash flow and may punish the Jedi.
So, I guess you could do it but every cause has an effect.

I sense another Revan... Didn't we learn our lesson last time? But no, seriously, I think it's an alright idea, by my Jedi would never go along with it unless the Council allowed the Jedi to go there.

Well, isn't Kashyyyk already part of the Republic? I think it's a parallel situation (the plot between the Wookies and Zabraks) to the current genocide and human rights violations in Rwanda and Darfur, and the other African countries. Just because the native people are being maltreated doesn't mean that their home nation isn't officially part of the greater continent (or, in our case, the Republic).
Think of the Wookies as the citizens of Rwanda, the Zabraks as the Muslin extremists, the nation of Rwanda as Kashyyyk, and the Jedi as the United Nations. The UN is too involved with other world affairs to affectively end the situation in Rwanda, and rout the Muslim extremists. It is a situation that is noticed, but for the time being, the Jedi simply don't have the capabilities to cope with it as more pressing matters are arising.
