Description:

An unarmed jetpack used by the Mandalorians, this unit has a fuel tank allowing for 45 seconds of air-time, which breaks up in 3 sessions of 15 second flying bursts. There is no armament on the pack; rather, there is a single weapons compartment to the side which can hold a blaster carbine, etc. This is most commonly used with shock troops dropping in behind enemy lines or rushing front line enemy soldiers for close-range combat with melee and ranged weapons. It has a top speed of 128 kph, can go up to 7 meters vertically or 65 meters horizontally. The unit has a total maximum range of about 1.1km. Like some similar units, it has gyro-stabilizers for counter-thrust operation and maneuvering.

Looks pretty good, but this is a bit more advanced then the current timeline. This seems more like Clone Wars era, so i'd suggest lowering the top speed down to 60-100 mph and maybe lowering the range a bit. Just wanna throw out my opinion.

Jetpacks are always a touchy subject especially when it comes to mandalorians. Do a little bit of research into modern day jetpacks and you can get an idea of why they are rarely developed and even more seldom used in combat.

A jetpack is a strange thing; it has to be light enough to propel itself, its fuel source, and its occupant without burning the occupant's trousers off. A 1.5 kilogram pack is ~3 pounds; the amount of thrust 3 pounds of any kind of fuel would produce would barely be enough to lift itself much less an occupant. The fuel compartments need to be strong so it cannot be ruptured, the size has to be big enough to create a large enough thrust surface to create the lift/weight ratio for flight.

To account for ^^^, you have not created a realistic jetpack. I know this is Star Wars but even Boba Fett's jetpack was larger and heavier than that and it was only a prop. Plus this is 3000+ years BEFORE Boba Fett. Do more looking around so this thing is more acceptable and doesn't run on a macguffin fuel.

This is Boba Fett's jetpack. It's flight specs are somewhat similar to yours. It weighs 30kg, with is 20 times more than what you currently have.

Start with these specs, and then make it bigger and clunkier to account for the time difference.

It still doesn't address the essential issue of its performance being nearly as good as the Fett 3000-years-in-the-future jetpack while weighing only 1/20 as much.

Upped the weight, dropped the specs some more; they're already majorly down-graded from the Z-6 but I lowered them again in small increments.
