Name: Darvek Mavros
Age: 38
Race: Weequay
Birth place: Nar Shadaa
Height: 6,0
Weight: 214 lbs
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: N/A
Appearance: Darvek is a very intimidating individual, stands slightly taller than most other Weequay, and is in very good shape. He constantly puts himself through intense training regiments and therefor has a near picture-perfect, sculpted body, if not for the damage it receives in fights. But the first thing you will notice about Darvek, are the cold-calculating eyes that he wears, usually above a silly grin, leaving you in doubt as to whether he is enjoying your company or sizing you up. He has the rough, leathery skin inherent to all of his kind, though his is much paler from not living constantly under the suns of Sriluur or Tatooine. Darvek doesn't have hair in braids, as Weequay usually do. He usually wears a red leather duster over black army pants and a black undershirt.
Personality: Darvek is an intense individual. He always plans three steps ahead, except when he's drunk. He's a lone wolf, if there was ever one. His plans never incorporate teammates, and if he has any, they usually end up dead or crippled. This is because of his nature of being highly erratic, a trait which is also visible in the way that he talks and acts. He doesn't hate Jedi, that's not why he hunts them. He hunts them because he sees them as a challenge, the greatest obstacle a warrior can overcome. He is quite paranoid, and likes to keep an armory's worth of weapons on his person at all times. To someone who doesn't know Darvek, he may seem cold and uncaring in his ideals and methods, but deep down, he's an alright guy. He has a strong dislike of slavery and doesn't much like kidnapping either, but many times is forced to participate in such events due to contractual obligation.
He will lend a hand to someone in need, if it is asked of him, but won't accept it in return, and likes to keep other people as far away from his problems as possible. Make no mistake, Darvek has made many enemies over the years, and he would rather not get his friends hurt because of it. While not having any personal alliances, he always thought well of the Mandalorians and their bravado in combat. While he doesn't agree with some of their tactics, he respects their competence and ability on the battlefield.

Bio: Darvek was born and raised on Nar Shadaa. His mother died during childbirth, so he was raised by his father. His dad was a gun-for-hire, and worked as a guard for the Hutts. During Darvek's childhood, his father would teach him how to fight with a vibroblade and how to shoot a blaster. Darvek was a natural with a blaster rifle. So good, in fact, that he could hit a moving target at 120 yards when he was only 14 years old . He was gifted with good memory and natural intelligence, so schooling was not completely necessary for him. In fact his basic education was taught by his father, and Darvek had to study in his own time after. He didn't have many friends or sweethearts, and any he did have, he cut ties with when his father would move from place to place for work. When Darvek turned 18, he joined his father working for the Hutts, usually as guards on freighters.
Unfortunately, one day, two Jedi, who had been investigating the Hutt's smuggling ring, burst into the warehouse that their freighter was docked at. They attacked them, but were no match for the Jedi's skills, and all of the other guards were killed. It finally came down to Darvek and his father battling for their lives against the two Jedi. In the end, his father gave his life, and used a thermal detonator to cause the roof to cave in on him and the two Jedi, crushing them in tons of debris.
With no other witnesses, Darvek's superiors could only assume that he had killed the Jedi on his own, and that he had thrown that thermal detonator. They offered him some bounty-hunting jobs, but he had no skill in that line of work. So he went to his uncle Marco, a poor bounty hunter, and Darvek's only surviving relative, who lived in the Taris Undercity where he had been unable to leave for lack of a ship or credits. They left for Nar Shadaa, and for the next two years he taught Darvek all that he knew, and before long Darvek was a better hunter and tracker than his uncle had ever been. He also found that he enjoyed bounty hunting. He got a measure of entertainment tracking down his prey, and setting up traps for them to spring. So he began doing jobs with his uncle, and they began to make a decent amount of money between the two of them.
When he was 24, he and his uncle were out on a bounty hunting job when they were confronted by a Jedi. In the ensuing battle, his uncle and the Jedi were both killed. Despite the loss of his last close relative, Darvek's life actually improved after this. The fact that he had already killed two full-fledged Jedi Knights, and at such a young age, was starting to get him some real attention. Over the next three years Darvek became fairly well known as a reliable assassin and bounty hunter. It was at this time that Darvek was hired to take out a Jedi Knight for the first time. He spent the next few weeks plotting tirelessly. When he finally made his attempt, the Jedi was able to detect his trap. What followed was a 6-hour chase across the rooftops of Coruscant, and Darvek was forced to retreat from the Jedi, lest he be captured or killed. He now knew that this was what he was meant to do in life.
Over the next decade, Darvek honed his skills to become an expert Jedi hunter. His swordsmanship and natural sharpshooting abilities were reforged with years of strict training routines and missions taking place in the harshest conditions, including several on Hoth, Nar Kreeta, and Mustafar.
He practiced some Echani martial arts, studied the Jedi's saber styles and known uses of the Force in libraries on Corescant, and gained true experience with his skills by taking bounty-hunting jobs against only the most dangerous opponents. By the end, he could defend himself against the threat of a lightsaber, and could shoot a rifle with skill on parr with the best sharpshooters in the mid-rim.
While he did, discretely, advertise that he hunted Force-Users in general, few actually employed him to hunt the Sith, and Darvek found that a lot more Dark Jedi were fools then were not, and lacked tactics. Most did exactly what he had planned, the Weequay took no pleasure in a hunt that went exactly according to plan. Though to be fair, he had only really taken on new and inexperienced Dark Jedi so far. Before the Sith began to reemerge, he didn't get many jobs hunting Jedi, so he took assassination and bounty-hunting jobs on the side to pay the bills.
Just before the Sith began to return, Darvek got several anonymous requests for the heads of several high-ranking Jedi guardians in the Order. Though most were Masters, several even on the Council, whom he knew he couldn't face and survive, he did assassinate three prominent Jedi Knights, either from a mile away with a sniper rifle, or pre-set explosives, a feat that garnered him a vast amount of attention from the authorities. He gained so much heat from these actions, that he had to lay low on Nar Shadaa for several months.
But now the Sith's return has distracted the authorities away from Mr. Mavros, and he can finally get back to doing what he does best...
"I love shooting a Jedi in the head from 90 yards with a modified Mandalorian sniper rifle. "I sense a disturbance in the -BLAM!" -Darvek Mavros
RP Sample:Two dark figures splashed through an alleyway in the damp night of Corescant. Clothed in brown robes, the two were making their way to a red hover car that had been parked near by, no doubt to return to the Jedi Temple. The larger of the two was a male Zabrak, the smaller behind him, a young female Zeltron. As the approached the opening doors of the vehicle, the Zabrak stopped an put his hand out for his apprentice to do the same.
"What is it master?" The girl asked, nervously. The Zabrak furrowed his brow and stared around at the adjacent buildings. "I sense something..." He said slowly. The girl peered cautiously up at the high building tops. "Is it danger?" She asked, "I don't know...yet."
Meanwhile, 3 stories above, Darvek Mavros pieced together his Mandalorian Sniper Rifle, and, setting it down on a bi-pod, he scoped in on the two Jedi. They seemed to have sensed his presence, for they were staring up as if looking for something, or someone. As extra precautions, the Weequay had set 4 remote-explosives on each of the roof's supports. Carefully, he set his sights on the Zabrak, who's age indicated his rank as the Knight of the two. Once he was gone, Darvek could make short work of a younger, more inexperienced padawan. He ceased his breath for an instant, slowly squeezing the trigger.
The Zeltron girl had less than a second to think when she first saw the glint of light off of the sniper's scope. She screamed, and with all of her might, tackled her master off of his feet. Darvek jumped, pulled the trigger, and there was a shot. The Zabrak rolled over to find his apprentice unmoving. He quickly switched on his lightsaber, a green flame lighting the night, and leapt up the side of the building, too fast for Darvek to shoot.
Abandoning his rifle, the Weequay had only enough time to whip out his two short vibroblades before the Jedi made it to the roof. They were both still for a pause, staring each other down. Then, when it was clear his opponent would not surrender, the Jedi made the first move, sending a blur of white and green straight to the Weequay. Darvek swatted away one blow after another, just barely defending himself against the Jedi's fierce attacks.
His blades began to turn orange with heat from the Jedi's relentless assault, and would not last much longer under this constant heat. The Jedi quickly swatted one of Darvek's weapons away, and the two locked blades. Darvek pulled one of his hold-out pistol, and shot the Zabrak in the leg, who dropped his lightsaber in pain. Darvek swung his sword, but the Jedi ducked, disarmed him, and kicked him in the chest, sending him onto his back.
The Jedi reached out with the Force, and pulled his lightsaber into his hand. But, just as the Jedi switched it back on, Darvek pulled out his remote detonator, and jammed his thumb over all 4 buttons. The roof collapsed inwards, and Darvek was enclosed by chunks of metal and stone.
He must have been in that pile for a good half an hour, because when he came out again, it was sunset. He looked over, and saw an arm break out from under the sediment. The Jedi rose, his eyes glazed over, and a deep gash in his forehead covered in dried blood. Then the Weequay noticed a glint of silver sticking out from the stones. He reached down to retrieve the Jedi's lightsaber, and switched it on. As the Jedi came to his knees, dazed and confused, Darvek lifted the saber, took a deep breath, and let fly...
The apprentice lay lifeless at Darvek's feet. He wanted to check for himself if he got her. He held her master's head by the hair in his left hand, and his lightsaber in the other. He raised a foot, and dropped it on her chest. She coughed once, blood spattering the pavement, and began to breath hoarsely. He lifted the green blade up once more, but just before he smote it down, he thought better of it, and slipped the now-inactive saber into her hand. Then he left to tell his employers of the success.
