www.swrponline2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=frinplot&action=display&thread=15091Early morning 0600 hrs Planet: Thyferra -------------------------------- Ryver/Taym had been air dropped by a pirate crew. Those fools did not ever look at the contents, of course they were paid well enough to not look or even crack the crate. So they did not know that held with in that smallish crate was an Sith assassin droid, the one who sent them on the planet run. Soon they would be half way across the galaxie waiting for a fleshy to pay them only to find that they will be waiting on a corpus with no money. Taym had to get them here on the sole purpose that they needed repair money and parts for up-grading. An this mission would set them up very nicely for years. They had no real need for this healing agent but if the fleshies were willing to shell out the money then they would oblige there living ways, for a while longer. He was to meet up with others at a location nearest to the facilities before entering. The company made it clear that they wanted a sample and the full fomula of this new healing agent Bacta. Taym had installed a shielded back-pack server for the mission. Which from his processers and logic told him, it would hold most of the libary of Coruscant. So he had no doubts that they would be able to house all the infomation of the facility. Ryver speaking-- These fleshies better not hold us up for to long.Taym speaking-- They will be here the money was to great for anyone to just leave and not collect. So here they sat in a junk yard of old machinery and droids this lone droid layed steel colored and rust spots painted to give that old worn out droid feel. The droid slave restraing bolt was about the only thing looking half way new, yet it was the only thing on them that did not work.

((OOC---this takes place before my crew thread.))
Zett Rem had heard of the healing substance called Bacta and jumped on the offer for three reasons: first of all the pay would be good, second he would be working for a big company, Third He would have a chance to git his hands on some of it evne if the company did not know it he was going to take some.
His flight to Thyferra was uneventful on board a fraighter not owned by him.
He landed and pulled up his HUD looking for the meeting zone knowing it was not far from landing. His travil to the zone ended at seeing a Droid he had come to recognize.
He waved to the droid from a distance.

Leo twitched as he scratched his head. He had been stuck in this dinky ship for an entire day, with all the smelly, dangerous, crazy people. They were all out to get him; he knew it. Whether it be the corporations or the clients or that one guy on Ando with the spice problem; all Leonita Rathskorr the VI could say was that they wanted nothing more than to ruin his day. Let 'em try!
Leo jumped off the ship as it landed, desperate to get away from all those... people as soon as possible. He was a small Rodian, about 5'4" with long ears that drooped a little. His giant, star-filled eyes darted quickly about every face he saw; a threat there, a crazy man over there, and a wacko right next to him. Leo knew they might seem like a normal Twi'lek or a nice Human, but ultimately they were all psychopaths looking to knock him down. He hissed a little under his breath; They didn't say there would be so many people.
Come to think of it, they didn't say much at all. The Corporate Alliance had called in Leo to handle the slicing; he was good with software. Anything from a comm to a capital ship mainframe; they were all the same to him. Of course, the convict hadn't been initially willing. Evil, evil, EVIL corporates. Out to destroy us all, Leo murmured, moving toward the exit of the spaceport. He had volunteered, of course, but he hadn't agreed to being interrogated in a small room with only one exit and a Togruta in a gimpy outfit. They told him what he needed to know, and they he ran out of the room, gasping for breath.
Ah, they want me dead anyway. Not while I have my charms! the Rodian imagined, fidgeting with the little washers and metal scraps he kept about his person. He didn't care what anyone else said; each charm was lucky, and everyone else just wanted them for themselves. Some called him paranoid, but he knew the truth; they were jealous.
WAIT! What did that guy say? Leo turned to face a security guard, who him to come and recollect his bag. In the midst of his thinking, the Rodian had totally forgotten. Running over with break-neck speed, Leo snatched his bag from the guard's hand, clucthing it dearly. Responding to the guard's inquisitive look, Leo put on his best fake calm face, and said "Thank you, officer." Being Rodian, the Galactic Standard came out with numerous clicks and hisses, but the guard managed to decipher it and walked away, wishing he wasn't on spaceport detail that day.
Filthy, FILTHY hands! Leo hummed, frantically searching the bag to make sure all was still in order. If even the small tool or charm was out of place, he would have to dump the container out and replace everything all over again. How DARE he! And a human, too! Blek!
Finding the contents of his luggage in fine shape, Leo exited the terminal and managed to locate the mechanical graveyard he was told to meet his companions in. Personally, he knew every one of them would be disgusting, disrespectful ingrates that would expect him to shoot and burn and maim and kill. Want me to act such barbarities? HA! The Rodian shook his head and clicked slightly; they would do the work, as was their job. He would slice their system, get their files, get his credits, and then vanish, just like every other job. As the Rodian stepped off his transport and into the scrapyard, he held his bag close, and glanced around madly, searching for these nutjobs he would be spending the next few hours with in total lunacy.

Faruko smiled, as much as his beak allowed him to anyway, as the crowd whooped and hollered at the prospect of seeing a live show in this dinky little tavern called Carrigan's Crypt. Faruko had been brought to Thyferra for work. He'd been contacted by some big wig organization, that needed mercenaries like him to get a sample of a new healing agent called, Bacta. He'd arrived a couple of days early to get the lay of the land and to make some extra cash. Now, he was about to go on stage and sing for the boozed up patrons. Faruko didn't know anything about this latest band that he was supposed to sing for, which added some stress but, he'd get it all worked out. He always did.
The band struck a chord and started to play their beginning song, it was a mixture of hard rock and symphonic music. Interesting selection Faruko thought as he leapt through the curtains and slid across the stage, swiping the mic with practiced ease. The crowd went nuts. He opened his mouth and began to sing, opening with a "YEAAA-OW!" like some kind of 20th century rockstar.
After taking a moment to get the beat down, he modified an old Shashay nursery tune and rocked the stage. The Shashay's language was a combination of tweets, twitters, and a varying range of other noises, impossible to translate unless you studied the language for a profession, were force-sensitive, or were a fellow Shashay. He always sung in his native language This would be his final show for the day, as he had a team of mercs to meet up with.
Ten minutes later, he closed with a low pitched hum that went perfectly with the rest of the song, fell to his knees and spread with arms our wide, the mic still in his feather-like fingers. Then he bowed his head, the lights went out and the song ended. Wiping his forehead off with a hand, he replaced the microphone on it's stand and walked back backstage. The crowd was shouting for more, which tugged at his heart strings.
He loved singing but, he had other things to do. Like look for his kidnapped mother. After changing into his mercenary gear, he left the tavern through the back, his trusty blaster holstered on his hip, and a knife that he'd picked up as a reward in a arena fight sheathed in his boot. Dressed in a black Bantha Hide jacket, a red scarf, and brown leather pants, he guessed he looked more like a common Smuggler than anything. Faruko tapped the homing beacon on his wrist to signal his fighter to come pick him up. He loved slave links, absolutely loved them. A few minutes later, he was in the air and heading towards the meeting place. They were supposed to meet in a scrapyard of all places. Even in the confines of the cockpit, the smell of the rotting metals and oils reached him.
He set the custom made fighter down a few klicks away from the meeting place and walked the rest of the way. When he got there, there were two people that he saw waiting, a Rodian, and another mercenary he didn't know. He saw a droid in the background but, didn't know if it was part of the permanent decor of the scrapyard, or a part of their team.
Deciding to announce his presence to the team, he stepped around a pile of metal and jogged into the camp. Faruko gave the group a mock salute "What's up guys? Faruko Ranbardi's the name," looking around for a second he raised his hands in a shrug as he gestured around them "Is this it?"

Ryver stood up from the debrie snapping off the restraining bolt.
Amatures. This is to be a covert action not a .......pub brawl. The objective is the hard drive that has the formula and a viable quanity of this Bacta for them to test on. This is why there is four of us. One to aquire the data, one to aquire the bacta sample while the others give protection and a usable ship that will cary three to exit the planet.
Pointing to the nervous looking one Ryver moved forward.
You .... you are the one to break the system's firewalls and retrieve the data, ..yes?
Dropping it's arm Ryver looked at the remaining two. Either would work for both the handler and the pilot, so Ryver would not waste cpu power on the choice.
Either of the two of you can chose to do the remaining task. I am here to make sure you enter cleanly and exit freely. If needed I shall back up to break the firewalls or remove virus busters.
We need atleast twenty minutes in and out for this to work. You ...hacker how long will you need to get in?

Zett saw the Getty little Rodian male Hacker. And then listened to Ryver try and boss Zett around. Zett first chuckled at the droid then turned his attention to the slicer. Taking a cookie he had sat in his bag and offered it to the On edge Rodian, only to joke with the little guy.Ya' hungry? it's only Got a little poison in it. Zett took a bite and laughed a little.
Now Ryver i don't know who put you in charge but i thought the smart one would be having the lead role here. Zett chuckled again patting the droid on the shoulder as he walked past him.
I'm a fair enough slicer, i could spring the sample with out hitting any fire-walls. Zett then finally turned his attention to the Birdlike member of the team.
I wonder if this birdie can fly? If so I'll let you take my ship, provided you don't want the slicing job?
OK there i think i made a pun about every one here now I'm good. He said to him self.

Leo hissed a little as the group convened in the scrap yard. A droid and his handler, a smuggler, and a merc. Disgusting! He couldn't help but spit a little. No one from the Corporate Alliance told him that he would be working with such creatures and a bolt-bucket. Leo clutched his bag a little tighter, and fondled a charm hewn into his sleave. The sooner he could ditch these ingrates, THE BETTER.
"You .... you are the one to break the system's firewalls and retrieve the data, ..yes?"
"Yessss," the Rodian clicked, eyeing the man suspiciously. He knew the droid couldn't be trusted, and the man to the same degree. "I am the slicer you have been assigned." The language came out clacky and click-filled, and Leo's stressed mood didn't help to make it much more legilible.
The man then asked how much time Leo would need. The question temporarily sent Leo's mind back in time as he remembered the synopsis of security he had been supplied. 500 terrabyte hardrive with multiple firewalls, classes B through F, combined with a network keltix system for mass protection, standard issue... The Rodian ruminated for a moment, trying his best to ignore his new companions as he thought.
"I will need... several minutes, exactly. I can count on you..." They have guns; do not anger them until you are in an equal position. FILTHY things. "... people to give me that amount of time without my personal welfare being in jeoprady?"
Suddenly the smuggler chimed in, challenging the former-Sith's leadership and effectively insulting every person there. Not only FILTHY, but with a mouth too! Leo did his best to pretend, and slowly unclenched one arm from his bag to take the disgusting sugar disk. Snatching it away with his usual paranoia, Leo feinted a courteous smile before lowering it behind his back and dropping it. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Listening to both with their equal anoying pratle Ryver tied on to their WIFI system ans scanned the area for open ports. Taym took over and said.....
We are here for the distraction what ever you to do do it soon. We will keep them distracted for an hour after that we are selves will come for the information wheither you have it or not.
Turning they left toward the busniness district and the security offices of Thyferra. Reaching down Taym removed a covering sticker that hid a makers stamp from a sith republic medical corp. They also removed a few other defining makes stamps so that the Thyferra security force had no choice but think where they were from. Their secondary mission was to hit the little unknown research lab for synthic flesh and bio mechanics.
They slowed as they neared the fringe. Reaching for one of the 60's they took careful aim and started snipping officers and workers. The wet work was what they were built for but Taym did not like watching the loss of life. So he linked himself into the open channel from a near-by droid shop and up loaded their program to all the linked droids and the server hub. Quickly the program spread from droid to bot to server. Ryver continued with the wet work as Taym hacked the simple programs.

((OOC---MK, playing this as is Cirith isn't around.))
We are here for the distraction what ever you to do do it soon. We will keep them distracted for an hour after that we are selves will come for the information wheither you have it or not. Taym said before the two personalities droid began his march out of the area. Zett stood their and watched the droid march off.
"ME and Ryver go this way to go kill stuff, you and slicer go that way, got it, good, go." Zett mocked the droid, That had gotta be the worst plan I've ever hear. Zett said before looking back to the Rodian with a bit of a sigh.
Looks like i got your back then, the facility is this way, ya got everything you need? Zett said his attitude completely different from when he had arrived, the way he saw it, if people aren't gonna like me, i might as well give 'em a reason not to.
Zett waited for the Rodian to confirm having his things before Zett pulled out holo-pad and set it on a flat-ish area of the small clearing the duo where in. A map appeared of the basic base design. OK, the computers are here, the samples are here, but we gotta enter WAAAAY down here! Zett pointed to levels 3 and 6 of the building then the entrance. With Ryver distraction it shouldn't be hard to just walk through the front door, but i recommend you follow my lead just to be safe, and if you need a hand with those computers i can help too. Zett said making sure the Rodian understood.

Leo twitched his antennae slightly as the droid... appeared to mention itself twice. What an insane, rampant machine. He hoped that at some point it would get shot. That would make things easier. Mmmmmmmm, yes, and the human too. Both of them simply lying dead. More cash for him. Fewer people. Mmmmmmmmm, yes...
The droid departed, apparently acting as the distraction. Leo's giant milky eyes glared as it departed the land of junk, rubbing another charm he'd sewn into his collar. The inside of his clothes were absolutely packed with the small trinkets, though he'd at least been cognitive enough to put them on the inside. His hand dancing from one part of his shirt to the next to the next to the other hundred, Leo set his bag down carefully, as if it could explode if it was handled wrong. It might not, but he would if anything was disturbed.
Watching the human with paranoid eyes, Leo's eyes danced around the map that sprang from the hollow. Of course he'd memorized the layout. He wasn't stupid. This human could wait until just now to do, but not Leo. Uh-uh. The first question he received made his skin crawl, glaring with disgust. "Of courssssse... I have all that I will require..."
The human man, who's name Leo hadn't even bothered to actually listen to, told the Rodian what he already knew. Filthy, smart-lipped, AND unthinking. Gods, rip me from this world now... He stared as the plan was laid out before him, imagining what he considered a million better ways to do it. But fine. Let the human kill himself in the process. All Leo needed from him was his life to be on the line long enough to crack a few firewalls. "Yessss, you lead the way... and no. No help. At all. Ever."

Ryver kept up with the diversion with a hail of rounds punching through any living flesh while Taym worked his skill. He had hacked the droids via is own AI up load. Those droid and bots went haywire attacking and stripping key componets from security and electrical panels.
What systems and back up systems came online Taym was there uploading his system programs with them. As they came on line the Tayms hacked and broke systems letting security camras and secured hatches open and closed as they wished. Only the path that the rest of the crew was following was the darkest, void of knowledge that two beings were sneaking in.
Taym came back to speak internally with Ryver......
They're on the move and a path darkened by the program is sheltering them. We can move again if you wish as the WIFI is no longer a needed item.
Ryver agreed by snipping a power connector to set five heavies on fire.
I agree we need some thing more. The barracks lets set a fire under them and see what runs.

"Yessss, you lead the way... and no. No help. At all. Ever."
Zett was happy he had a helmet on, cause he had the biggest smile he had ever plastered to his face, Aaahkey, you just earned yourself a nickname, "twitch..." Zett said as he shut the holo device off and into his pouch at his side.
He started up a mound to look at the base from afar, From here, he could see that Ryver Taym had already started their havoc and destruction, Well, this is all completely Horrible! He muttered as he began his jog down the hill like mound of garbage. They managed to make it fairly close to the base without trouble thanks to the droid distraction, Zett did have to take down a few guards up to the door, but once there, it was relatively easy. They door was even wide open, Zett guessed he had Taym to thank for that.
Zett entered to find three of the guards trying to restore some sort of security so no one would get in, "to late" Zett got behind the first of the three while they where barking off orders and bickering about who was in charge. He quickly and swiftly took him down by a quick twist of his neck, then pulling his right pistol and taking the other two down with a shot each.
He headed to the turbo lift to find it un-operational in the attack... Blast!... Ryver must've hit the power for this thing... Zett glanced around the room looking for an emergency switch which he easily found on the wall beside the door. He flipped it, and it slowly began to move down to Zett and the others location...

Twitch. Well, that was going to be annoying. Everything about this human made Leo want to do just that, but instead he merely glared at the walking water balloon as the man stood atop the hill, feinting emotion. Leo's antennae twitched again in disgust, his slim fingers quickly darting to the opening of his bag and unzipping it, looking inside. The bag looked like an absolute disaster to the outside eye, but to Leo it was perfection; ordered chaos. The horseshoe had to be exactly 67.2 degrees in reference to the Rancor ball of snot, which had to rest exactly on the "1" button of a calculator created by Ren & Dalt Corp, which had to be snuggled up against the side of the bag so that the portable lightning rod that was a certified Grey Mist comic book collectible was just sticking up under the zipper. Yes, it was perfect. Zipping it up again, Leo made sure not to disturb it.
He would never allow his precious trinkets to be ruffled for such a stupid cause as this.
Dashing after the human on scrawny legs, the bag held close to his chest as they ran, Leo cursed silently as his antennae twitched with every other footfall. Such wasted precision. If this mission was being done correctly, as he would plan it, there would be no need for barbarities such as running. No, they, and by "they" he meant "he", would be in a small, dark, secluded, off-the-grid location with a source of slugs nearby and tinfoil insulation to detect most of the surveillance the mastermind Galactic Government officials behind the scenes of most every political occurrence. Oh, and an actual set-up. One that these Corporate Alliance ingrates had insisted to be "too expensive". Leo snorted at that; if they didn't understand his work, they shouldn't be the ones dictating what was "too expensive" or "overly excessive" or "fueled by paranoia". Loons, the lot of them.
Squeaking in surprise as he heard gunshots, Leo instantly jumped into the nearest corner as the human man dispersed the guards. The malfunctioning droid seemed to have sent the entire facility into disarray, and of course his mass-debilitating seemed to have left a few stragglers about. Leo merely curled in the corner around his bag, cursing and hoping that the entire facility would simply disintegrate, taking everyone but him with it.
Unfortunately his wish went unanswered, and soon the human was flipping the emergency switch for the elevator. Ducking out from his corner to see if it was over, his antennae twitching three times in rapid succession, Leo dashed out, swatting the man's hand from the small console for the lift. "Imbecile! I'm handling all the electronicssssss here!" He glared for a moment before starting to mumble to himself, unzipping his pack quickly and carefully and procuring a small datapad and a small headset, which he promptly put on at an angle and hooked into the datapad. His fingers dancing across the tiny screen, he cursed under his breath rapidly about how they were now on the grid and how the man had totally ignored the threats. It didn't matter that the droid had the system; Leo would have to delete the electronics log now that they had just started pushing buttons.
"Unbelievable, careless, unwarranted..." With the press of a few more buttons, the lift shot up like a bullet, the safety protocols being overridden by the Rodian. Literally hopping on, he hissed at the human, his twitching face illuminated by his datapad. "Haste, haste!" As soon as the disgusting man had boarded, the Rodian twitched again before hitting a button, and the lift began to drop like a stone toward the restricted levels.

Pushing through the living quarters, they had finally got in a hot spot as the quarters had but three entrances. Taym had been working on a layout of the quarters and the levels below when he found some thing that was a bonus. A special biotech lab was just three stories down. Taking command of one of the arms he was opening a vent to the lower levels when Ryver stopped shooting. Taym noted that Ryver had switched tatics and was going with the thermodets.
He speed up the quick removal and dropped a hover droid that they had picked up in the junk yard. Activating it as it passed the third story gave Taym a few seconds for him to take control. Whirring to life it hovered back to the third floor doing a quick scan of the room. Finding it clear they plummeted and snagged the ledge. A quick smash and they were inside the biotech lab.
Scanning the room they found some thing a project of smallish importance. The framed swatch of synthen flesh was wrapped around a robotic arm which was in a healing fluid the same fluid they were there to get the data for. Taking the arm and the data for the syn-flesh as they were about to exit the way of the vent they moved to a terminal console and sent a trace-able data package through Nar Shaddaa to a server on a remote moon. Dropping further into the depths Ryver and Taym caused more trouble and heavy damage.

Zett was just about to cut the elevators control console open and rewire it to begin working, a task that would have taken more time then he would have liked. But before he could the Rodian pushed him away and used a small data pad that was allowing him to hack it. Zett had seen device that could do the same thing, some of which where more advanced then the one the Rodian had used. Zett didn't really have anything to say about it, not until the Rodian muttered and cursed about something, and he had to guess with the twitchieness of this guy, it had to do with the computers tracking logs or something. Zett rolled his eyes, ''Ya'know, if you had just let me hot wire it, we wouldn't be on the logs, right?'' Zett said aloud not exactly expecting the Rodian to hear or even care about the words.
Zett stood silently in the elevator as it began to move. To the first stop, the computer labs, where the Data was located. Zett quickly peaked his head out of the elevator to find two guards directly across the room from him, and a lab tech over at one of the computers, rushing to collect the Data from the computer. Zett quickly drew his pistol and pounded two shots on the first guard before having to duck behind one of the many consoles. There wasn't much of a fight before Zett got a shot in on the second guard.
Zett put his pistols back in their holsters then walked over to the lab tech, who was cowering in a corner with a incomplete download in hand. "Hey there little guy... Don't worry i won't kill you, just want some data." Zett said not quite realizing that the Lab tech was by strange chance a female, And a Rodian to boot. Zett attempted not to chuckle, but it was hard not to. Zett shook his head, as he turned around after making sure she would stay exactly where she was. Zett looked at the computer (making sure he didn't touch it so Twitch wouldn't get upset) and fortunately he found the information still in tact. "Alright Buggeye, you can come out of the elevator, the computers fine!" Zett shouted in the general direction of the elevator.

Pushing on in the chaos the droid wreaked havoc in the lower levels. Trying as they could to make enough noise and damage to cause the fleshlings to chase after him. Time, they needed enough time to gather the data and make for Zett's ship as for them they had another route.
The under ground tram was their exit route, before that set of plans was to happen the others had to leave. Taym was watching for the departure signal from Zett's ship. A short lived low orbit signal relay would squawk then burn out. It would be the signal that Taym had built on a case just like this from the first they had meet. Now it would come in handy for them as a very timely signal.
More death and destruction followed by a uneasy quiet spell before a squad of heavy troopers exploded through a wall in pursuit of them. A few kills made them slow up a bit but they still moved toward them. Sooner than later it seemed that they were going to have to make for the tram before their appointed time. Moving in a hurry to the tram Ryver dropped remote thermo-det. Getting the most distance between them and themselves before triggering the dets. Not all at once but timed so that three or four of the heavies were in the fireball. Holding steady Taym waited for the sig and Ryver enjoyed ending a for more fleshies lives.

This Rodian seemed to be really on edge about letting Zett even touch electronics, which made Zett wonder what he thought about Zett being IN a suit of armor that was as high tech as his was. Zett look across the room to a computer that Leo wasn't messing with, and was still active. Then as his H.U.D. locked onto it, he activated his Wi-Fi, And began downloading onto his suit's memory for latter.
There didn't touch any electronics... Zett thought to himself while The Rodian was still working on the main down load. Zett walked over to the edge of the window and looked at the mess Ryver had made. With a bit of a sigh he stepped back and the download was completed on his H.U.D. He would worry about all the fine details latter, his suit's data systems would run slow, but Zett didn't see how that mattered sense he wasn't touching any tech on this mission.
((OOC---Sorry for shortness.))

(Occ-Since this thread needs to end and soon I'm ending with an all well post if you can post an ending please do.)
Ryver threw a few more dets before the tram arrived. They jumped the tram as it slowed. Though it never really stopped due to the alarms and the fires it had to slow for the switching ahead. It gave the droid enough time to grab hold and leave the area faster than the heavies could manage.
Now the rest was up to Zett and the other party members. Hopefully their end of the mission would go very smooth with the world planet looking for the destructive droid. Coming to the far end of the line Taym called their interstellar sloop from their hidden plot nearby. With a leap they jumped into the waiting hatch and with a boom they jumped to space. Upon breaking the atmo they jumped into hyperspace.

Zett smiled as he looked up to "Twitch" who was just finishing up his download. Zett too now had a copy of the Bacta information, and walked over to one of the sample containers and pulled one off the rack before placing it in his own bag.
He made sure he wasn't seen by the Rodian, but at the moment he didn't really care if he had seen him. He grabbed a second sample anyway so he could keep one for himself and give the other to his employer.
Over all it was quiet until the Rodian was ready to go, and Zett would then signal T6 to bring the Star Hunter over for them to leave on. He would drop the Rodian off in loony bin central and they would part ways before getting their payment for the job wired to each members account. Zett would be happy with that, and was likely to receive a bonus for getting the sample as well, "Twitch" would get his bonus for being done quickly, and Zett wasn't even sure if Ryver/Taym wanted to get payed.
When it was all said and done, the job was rather easy, and Zett would soon return to Spearpoint.
