Born on the coldest day, on Dantooine, to a wealthy family, came a gifted male child of human race; born privileged beyond belief this child would become something of a helper around his home by the age of 4 doing lots of minor jobs that he had read about. Born being privileged with education, food, teachers, and lots of time to read Speaking by the age of 2 1/2 and reading by 3 this young male, come to be known as Shawn O'connor, would be more gifted than his family ever thought he would. He had begun school at the age of 4; a typical start time for those years. About 3 months into the learning process a stranger came to there home seeking shelter since they were known to be a hospitable family which is how Shawn would be discovered.
With a great amount of argument over Shawn finally the stranger would be granted permission of giving the young boy several tests, mediclorian counts which were found to be somewhat high, there in the confines of his home along with speaking to some stranger, one of the Jedi Council Members, over a com link the young Shawn would be set into a motion of events that would change his life forever. With his parents taken aside in private and spoken to it would be in that private meeting that the parents and the stranger would speak of his future and where he would go. Coming out and speaking to Shawn the explanation to him would leave him saddened for a time but in end it would be for the good. Being told that he would be going away he just had to question why it had to be so but when he heard of becoming a part of the Jedi Order and being a hero he couldn't help but agree.

Now Shawn would go through the standard basic training for the next 5 years of his life learning all he needed to learn in the basics. Taking in the fighter form of Shii-Cho with the others it would be something that he would practice more then anyone else in his class, his own thoughts and preparations for later taking him until late at night into his studies and fighting. Now a normal student wouldn't worry himself with so much at such a young age, but then again Shawn wasn't at normal student, but he was someone who took great pride in learning new things as well as all he could.
Taking in all he could from the masters, mentors, and teachers alike so that he might move on quicker in his studies though that was not to be. He still continued to study and train like no other student so by the time he was 9 he would find a Master, the Master being the man who found him. Now this man was older, somewhere around his late Fifties or so; which made him seem like a father to Shawn in later times but for now it was just to seem like another teacher to Shawn.
Now during his time as a Padawan to this new master Shawn would learn a great deal of new galaxy ideas and concepts. Beginning training by building his first real training lightsaber, learning from his Master to take a great deal of time to perfect the lightsaber being built. Now this would come at the age of 11 building this lightsaber where the first 2 years of being a Padawan would actually just be getting to understand the force a little better out in the world beyond the Temple.
Now when the lightsaber was completed and he was a full fledged Padawan to his new Master, Shawn would begin his real training. Starting to under take minor missions with his master young Padawan Shawn would learn first hand at what being a Jedi was like. Dealing with minor thug problems, stolen objects, and minor lost items Shawn would just do this for about 5 years with his Master while learning the form of Niman, Jar-kai, and some minor practice in Ataru all the while still mastering Shii-Cho.
Turning the age of 16 his master would grant him the ability to become a dual lightsaber wielder like himself which Shawn would agree to with enthusiasm. Now he already had some practice in the form of Niman from his master but nothing like what he was about to learn. Building another lightersaber to be a shoto lightsaber the young Padawan would soon become a minor in this skilled form of Niman thought over the next 5 years he would become quite skilled in it and in Shii-Cho nearly a master.
Now it would be just before he was 21 that young Shawn would undertake the Jedi trails and become a Jedi Knight. Tough as it was Shawn would manage to pass through these hardships, though with a rough style, he would manage to become a Jedi Knight and still follow around his master for most new missions they both would acquire from others within their realm now.

Now 21 years old and a Jedi Knight the young Shawn would begin taking on more missions with his master off planet and even to the outer rim. Learning a great deal through meeting new species and races while getting the chance to experience all the new cultures; Shawn would become very bright in terms of knowing much more about the cultures that he hadn't been able to personally study.. Not only book smart any more but sense smart Shawn will not only get to travel around but would learn to fly starfighters at this point in his life and how the mechanical aspect of such worked with more hands on to them. Able to now fly and fix most starfighters Shawn has gone from just a small boy to be an outstanding Jedi Knight with his master by his side guiding him through things.
Now it would be on Shawn's fifth real mission away from the safety of the Jedi Order and the Jedi Training area that the young Shawn would find himself troubled and forced to go his separate was from the order. During a mission on one of the moons of Yavin 13 that Shawn's adult life would change forever from being this honored student to just disappearing. During a scouting mission with his Master through the rough terrain of the planet the small unit of exactly 2 jedi and maybe 10 republic guard scouts would be ambushed by a hidden part of the Dark Jedi Order. Fighting furiously Shawn, Master, and scouts would hold a position for a while before starting to retreat and during this retreat would be when Shawn would watch the horror of his life go down.
Stepping up to help protect the others his master went into the battle of several oncoming Dark Knights and in the mist of taking down 1 he would fall to the second as the Knights lightsaber plunged deep into his Masters chest and slid out, watching as he fell. Crying out Shawn would try to go forward into the Knight but be restrained by the scouts as they took him back to the ship though struggling against the angered Knight. Becoming somewhat into the dark side Shawn knew during there flight back to the main ships that he would be leaving from the Republic for a good while to try and find himself again.
Returning to the ships Shawn would find himself in a very weak state in his life. Without Master, without friend, without family Shawn would be lost in mind and clouded from the future by darkness. Now not wanting to become part of the darkness that clouded him now Shawn took a vow of disappearance until he could recover from the current events plaguing his vision.
With credit transfer in hand Shawn would approach the Jedi Council with a request to take a war class frigate into the unknown regions to look for things that might help in the fight against the Dark Side. Telling of the darkness he could feel in himself for revenge after his Masters death Shawn was ready to travel awhile from all this Civilization for not only find himself but to discover the farthest regions of space. Now at first he would be denied his request but with the money left from his parents, who had died some years before, he would purchase one of the out-dated Praetorian-class frigates from the Republic itself before setting out on his own mission to find his Light Side again.

So begins Shawn's travels into the Unknown Region. With crew, starfighters, and supplies all bought or supplied by the Republic Jedi Knight Shawn would set forth to discover the space beyond the outer most rim. Now filled with nothing but dangers, bad luck, and shady dealings this mission would seem doomed from the start but Shawn would make it work.
In the first 2 years of this expedition the "Oracle", the Praetorian-class frigate, would find itself in a none combatant state with major damage sustained from an asteroid belt that the ship would enter into from hyperspace. Now with long range com link systems on fire, the location reader battle damaged, the ships history log system offline, and the coordinate system failing it would seem the crew of Shawn's voyage would be in grave pearl.
Now with ship damaged so badly they would find themselves for the next 11 years really just drifting in outer space with bad luck following them. From random pirate attacks when entering someones hidden territory to being caught in an asteroid belt the crew of the "Oracle" would never see so much bad luck though by chance a few times their bad luck had saved their lives. On one such occasion the ship was drawn from hyperspace by engine problems and entering from their random jump they stumbled upon a Ronto-Class Medium Freighter that was still fairly new.
Having a team together to transfer aboard after unsuccessful short range links Shawn and 11 others would fly by shuttle over to dock with this freighter. Upon entering to find it pillaged of all relics and really left out here to never be discovered the small squad would begin to move from the ship until a chance of fate crossed them. Running low on supplies and in need of them Shawn would venture from the rest of the group and into a side hold of the ship where, still in good condition, he would find containers of supplies that hadn't been taken. Getting others to help him the supplies would be moved from shuttle to frigate before beginning to depart. Now this lucky discovery would be meant with more luck of finding traders and such in the unknown region to get supplies from but nothing ever again would compare to their luck on this day.

Deep from space and entering near the Coruscant System once more has been relaid a message from a long lost ship of the Republic Order that had fallen from communications nearly 11 years before.. A Praetorian-class frigate under the system name "Oracle" has suddenly reappeared into the system with all sorts of scrambled messages to the Jedi Order declaring it a research vessel under some lost name, "Shawn O'connor." Now gone for 13 years the ship might, crew, and Shawn might as well be lost but hopefully some one remembers them and responds to their calls to let the gathered info be sent to the Order before the ship, crew, and Shawn went from the Republic to just being a wandering ship or the merchant sort available for the Republic and Jedi when it would be needed once more for combat and to battle the like of the Dark Jedi who still were on the list for revenge in the mind of the now ranking Gray Jedi Knight Guardian, Shawn O'connor

It was late into the evening, the sun was gone, 3 moons were visible, and the air was warmer then anything. The main battle group was some 50km off from the small patrols position though this patrol was special for it was lead by 2 Jedi. With 3 Republic troopers and these two Jedi it would seem pretty calm as they wandered the jungles of Yavin 4 though they had both learned not to fully believe the force all the time since both sensing abilities were still not fully developed.
"Shawn do you think that we should head back?" Said Joliet, another Jedi Knight who Shawn had been assigned to go with while his Master went back to the order.
"I think we should begin to back track towards the main site yes." Shawn replied to her, his motions of body matching her's as they walked through the jungle.
Now it would be as these two began to back track towards the main encampment with their troopers that they would run into some trouble. Now it seemed that while they had left sector E3 almost an hour before that a band of smugglers had moved in to make camp. Now sure they could bypass the site when they got to it but that meant taking the long way and it was already heading towards a late 8:30 in the evening and they were all tired. Scouting around the smugglers didn't seem to heavily equipped so naturally they slowly emerged from the darkness and into the camp.
Sneaking around boxes of unknown objects, around crates of relics, and through tents covering com link gear the 5 person patrol crept quietly through the camp. Finding themselves almost out of the camp they began to relax until they turned a corner and were face to face with 2 of the smugglers. Both Bothans it was not like they could stop the Jedi but they were able to call out quickly before the a trooper drew his blaster and took both down with 2 well placed rounds to their chests.
Smuggler 1 - "Alarm we have intruders!"
Smuggler 2 - "To arms to arms!"
Just after their alert both of the Bothans were wasted by the trooper and the battle began between smugglers and patrol. Drawing their lightsabers ; the two Jedi dove neck deep between the two firing lines as they formed a small firing line to their sides with the troopers behind boxes. Now it wasn't really a fair fight with 5 of the patrol against almost 13 more smugglers but as the fight continued with blaster round flying all over and things becoming useless the female Jedi strolled forth to one of the smugglers and dispatched him with a quick parry and thrust while Shawn did nearly the same thing but doing more of a ballet with his duel lightsabers to dispatch one then another with ease.
Now the small fight lasted nearly 15 minutes and in the end had left the site a wreck with all the smugglers dispatched by either lightsaber or by blaster though 2 of the troopers had been hit with one getting it to a shoulder and the other taking it more serious to her side. Now they were still a good 37km off from the main base so instead of making the walk back they rummaged through the smugglers things and decided in the end to take the smugglers Dynamic-Class light Freighter MKII to get back. Strapping in and lifting off just over the trees, Joliet tended to the wounded with the other as Shawn piloted the little ship towards the campsite, his transmissions being blocked until get got closer.
When they got hold of the main campsite and were able to land the medical team were immediately on board getting the wounded to the a medical bay before taking the other three, both Jedi and the trooper, to get some rest, all three getting some honors for their duties. Now this wouldn't be the last time Shawn and Joliet worked together but it would be the last time they would see for nearly 14 years due to later events that would make it impossible.

Just after their alert both of the Bothans were wasted by the trooper and the battle began between smugglers and patrol. Drawing their lightsabers ; the two Jedi dove neck deep between the two firing lines as they formed a small firing line to their sides with the troopers behind boxes. Now it wasn't really a fair fight with 5 of the patrol against almost 13 more smugglers but as the fight continued with blaster round flying all over and things becoming useless the female Jedi strolled forth to one of the smugglers and dispatched him with a quick parry and thrust while Shawn did nearly the same thing but doing more of a ballet with his duel lightsabers to dispatch one then another with ease.
Now the small fight lasted nearly 15 minutes and in the end had left the site a wreck with all the smugglers dispatched by either lightsaber or by blaster though 2 of the troopers had been hit with one getting it to a shoulder and the other taking it more serious to her side. Now they were still a good 37km off from the main base so instead of making the walk back they rummaged through the smugglers things and decided in the end to take the smugglers Dynamic-Class light Freighter MKII to get back. Strapping in and lifting off just over the trees, Joliet tended to the wounded with the other as Shawn piloted the little ship towards the campsite, his transmissions being blocked until get got closer.
When they got hold of the main campsite and were able to land the medical team were immediately on board getting the wounded to the a medical bay before taking the other three, both Jedi and the trooper, to get some rest, all three getting some honors for their duties. Now this wouldn't be the last time Shawn and Joliet worked together but it would be the last time they would see for nearly 14 years due to later events that would make it impossible.
