Bio:
Gaius, Born to Jaktai and Farkak Fal’kirk. They had fled from their home planet in search for a better life style for their child. The Father, Farkak, was a renowned scientist who worked for the republic in developing and the researching of armoury. Farkak had slaved away for many years trying to bolster the republic’s defenses from any possible foreign invaders. His mother, Jaktai, found a job as a personal assistant to the falleen senator.
Gaius had a some what lonely upbringing, his father always at work, his mother always being called away by the senator she worked for. He made life easier for himself by pretending to be a jedi knight fighting the evil forces that would enter his bedroom. A “Swoosh” here, A “wooom” there, No one could defeat Gaius the toddler jedi knight. A much simpler time for Gaius, his innocence still intact, bright ideas of what he would achieve when he was a grown up.
He wouldn’t have had to wait long for his dreams to come true. By this time Gaius was now 6 years old. Which is ultra young for a Falleen as the average Falleen can live till 250 human years. He was born with a relatively high midi-chlorian count in his blood when he was born and the jedi had been informed. His parents still wanting a better life for their child, accepted the jedi to take their son away to the temple to start his training as a jedi hopeful.
It hadn’t taken long for Gaius to fit in with the other hopefuls. Unfortunatley though at this precise point in time there were no other Falleen children amongst the group but that did not bother him. He was only a young child and had so much to learn. He spent days and nights studying combat as opposed to the philosophical side to the force. It was clear to the masters that Gaius would eventually become a Gaurdian if he ever passed his trials in the years to come.
A couple of years had passed, Gaius now 8 years of age had started to come to grips with Schii-Cho on a novice level. He would practice with the remote droids for hours on ends and everytime he got stunned it would only spur on his resolve, his desire to better himself, to counter his mistakes and evolve aswell as mold into the basic stance the jedi learn.
For Gaius it was quite easier to become friends with his fellow students, he was not a loner, infact quite the opposite. He would often duel with his friends aswell as aid them if they had trouble with their studies in learning about the basics of lightsaber combat. He would also go to his friends in reference to learning about force abilities, for which he struggled in but ultimately managed to get by.
By the age of ten Gaius’s body was entering the start of its pubescent stages, of which his pheromones were starting to manifest itself inside of his young body. These pheromones that grew naturally with in the Falleen have the ability to seduce almost anybody, male or female alike. Gaius unaware of this change would accidently release these pheromones whilst in training, this would also help the older jedi to discipline themselves as they found it quite potent and sometimes hard to resist.
Now heading towards his 12th birthday, Gaius was storming ahead of his class mates when it came to wielding a lightsaber, so much so that he would start to show off when the masters left the room. He had an urge to become one with the lightsaber and increase his potential. This did not go unnoticed by his peers. They had agreed that when the time came to become an apprentice that it would be fitting a lightsaber orientated jedi would be the most suitable for Gaius.
A few weeks after his 12th birthday Gaius had finally met the jedi knight who would take Gaius under his wing as his padawan learner. This jedi was a Zabrak name Seph Serventus. Seph had trained many years in Shien and Niman Lightsaber stances and was proficient at duel wielding. This suitable Gaius to a tee as it would satisfy his urge to learn. But for the time being his master would only let him use a single lightsaber until he had mastered or atleast was highly proficient with Schii-Cho.
Their First mission as master and padawan took the pair to tatooine on a peace keeping mission. The local hutts had been sighted raiding republic convoy ships for supplies and the senate didn’t wish to make it anymore heated. The pair proposed a ceasefire treaty with the hutts in return for regular supplies for the hutts, to which they agreed and stopped the raiding.
Seph and Gaius would be sent on a few diplomatic missions over the years to various outlaying republican planets. Gaius, now 14 had watched his master intently in training to better his abilities. Seph was one of the best saber artists the jedi order had to offer, besides the battlemaster of the time. He was well versed in many lightsaber forms to which Gaius was amazed to view and try to learn. Master and padawan would spar against one another using trainng lightsabers to avoid any mortal injuries.
Shien, Niman, Jer’kai and the use of backhanded lightsaber stances were the forms Gaius took great interest in. Gaius would often study various other Jedi Gaurdians to learn further more. It was not uncommon for jedi to take lessons from other masters and seph actually quite supported this act. For the time being Gaius would still use one lightsaber until he was ready and experienced enough to create another.
Shortley before his 16th birthday, Seph took his padawan to Illum to pick out a new crystal for new lightsaber for Gaius. On the journey Gaius read many data pads on the different styles of lightsabers, he even consulted his master on what style to create. They both came to the agreement that to further Gaius’s studies it would be best to create a shoto saber so Gaius could finally learn the style of Jer’kai.
Two years had passed since Gaius picked out a new lightsaber crystal and made his new shoto lightsaber which gave out a deep dark green hue. Gaius now almost a fully grown Falleen. His reptilian genes kicking in as his scales started to harden, his facial features becoming more define and chameleon like ability to change skin colour in an instant would often help in various scenarios. Falleen who are naturally a greenish colour can turn either red or orange at will, these two colours would reflect to enemies and companions alike of the Fallen’s mastery to the educated of course.
Seph had spoken secretly to the council about his padawan, the council had agreed to test Gaius in the 4 trials to become a knight. Gaius was 20 by this age and had almost become at one with his dual lightsabers. It was time for him to learn more. Experience fighting against greater skilled opponents, emotional pain, courage and spirit. The council sent Seph and Gaius to Korriban where a Dark jedi master had remained hidden after killing a fellow padawan and jedi knight.
Gaius and seph landed on Korriban a few miles from the valley of the sith lords, this is where the previous master and padawan had fallen, Seph could feel the emotional and physical pain by meditating when they landed. Luckily for the duo, the dark jedi master was living in a cave not too far from the scene, they both could sense the dark force user as he made no effort to hide himself. It was like he invited anyone who felt the pull to the cave.
The pair confronted the master, at first they tried to redeem him from his evil ways. But the stubborn yet arrogant dark jedi master refused and laughed in their faces. It was time to test Gaius’s skills in combat. He ignited his lightsabers, his normal lightsaber in his right hand held normally, his shoto lightsaber in his left hand holding it in reverse grip, he performed a parry before retunring to a defensive stance. Seph jumped in first towards the dark jedi master, a fierce battle ensued, the fight first went in seph’s favour then in the dark jedi’s.
The battle had been in effect for some time, both seph and the dark jedi now tiring, Seph almost desperate to defeat the dark jedi tried endless amount of counter attacks, all of which working to an extent. The dark jedi called upon the force to push Seph who didn’t have his guard up against force powers was sent flying until he collided with the wall of the cave rendering him unconscious. It was down to Gaius to defend himself and his master against this evil being. He wasted no time, the dark jedi pilled on the attack with wave after wave of vertical and horizontal slashes and lunges. Gaius using his shoto blade to deflect each attack whilst using his normal saber to retaliate with attacks of his own. With each attack Gaius grew more and more determined to beat this man, he knew he could if he put all of his being, all of the teachings he had learnt into practice. The dark jedi had under estimated this padawan and he would pay for it with his life. He taunted Gaius saying he would kill him, his master and everyone he ever cared about. This only fueled Gaius to keep on fighting more and more, each attack more vicious than the last. The dark jedi almost unable to keep up with the speed and agility of the padawan mis read an attack and fell upon Gaius’s blade. Finally Gaius had succeded, he had defeated the dark jedi master. He knew he had learnt a great deal from this experience. After a few minutes he managed to awaken his master. On the trip back to the temple Gaius would tell Seph how the battle was eventually won and how the teachings Seph taught him were the only things that kept Gaius alive.
It would take another two years for Gaius to eventually pass his trials completely. He was always a well spirited, confident and independent individual. These traits helped him pass his trial of spirit when his master sent him on a couple of missions on his own. Seph was overly happy with Gaius’s abilities in combat aswell as dealing with his emotions.
At the tender age of 22, Gaius had passed his trials. Now a fully fledged Jedi knight and in his own right well experienced. He did not wish to wait or infact did not fear taking on a padawan of his own. He wanted to excel even more and perhaps even become a jedi master one day. Gaius made a point to help out with the lessons of the younglings, if the current master was absent for some reason, Gaius would relish the chance to have a sneak peak at the younglings by teaching them in their Schii-Cho lessons as a substitute teacher.
One student, much like Gaius when he was a youngling, stood out. Bail Jhay was his name, a human from Onderon. Bail was 12 and highly proficient in Schii-Cho for his age. Gaius consulted with his old master and the council about Bail and they all came to the conclusion that Gaius would be best suitable to take Bail on as his first padawan. Gaius, who still traveled with Seph, decided to take Bail on his first mission. Diplomacy, the back bone of any jedi and he wouldn’t let Bail forget that. For the first few years Gaius took Bail on countless diplomatic missions for the senate around the galaxy. In between each mission Gaius would heavily teach his young padawan how to hold his own in any confrontation. As was the way of the Gaurdian Jedi.
As the years passed, Gaius had almost mastered the arts of duel wielding aswell as the shien stance. He had practiced these forms for many years, he also taught Bail all he knew too. Seph now aging, could not keep up with the speed of the young jedi before him. But didn’t let it slow him down. Seph was sent by the council to route out a dark jedi who had seeded himself on tatooine. This unfortunately was the last time Gaius would see his old master alive. A few weeks had passed with no word, the jedi had assumed Seph had failed. In a mission to rescue any remains and route out this said dark jedi, the council sent Gaius and his padawan Bail, who was now 16.
They had landed in Mos Eisley, the hive of scum and villainy some would say. Gaius and bail would spend the next few days searching the looking area for any signs of Seph, any clues they had found came up dead. They were all about to give up the search when they stumbled upon an information broker who had returned from a trip to Mos espa said that a jedi knight had passed through not so long ago and was heading towards the great sarlacc pit. They thanked the broker and made their way to this Sarlacc pit.
By the time they had arrived there was no sign of the dark jedi obviously, the only evidence they found was Seph’s old lightsaberand a piece of his tunic. They assumed the worst had happened, the dark jedi killed Seph and thrown the body into the pit for the sarlacc to feed on. The dark jedi had escaped and left no clues to his or her where abouts. They had completed their mission to an extent and returned to the temple to inform the council aswell as deliver Seph’s old lightsaber. Gaius found it hard to deal with the loss of his best friend, mentor and some may even say brother the bond was so tight. But he did not let it affect his teachings or make him leave the order, from this experience he gained an even tighter grip of the jedi code. He would consult the council about his loss and emotions and they would help him steer back on track and not fall from the path of the light.
Bail, now 18 was confident in his own abilities and frequently asked Gaius to take him on some more dangerous missions so he could test what he had been taught. Gaius consulted the council who had new information on the where abouts of the dark jedi who had killed Seph. Apparently the dark jedi had struck again, this time taking a jedi knight down on nar shadaa. The pair left almost straight away.
Upon arriving on Nar Shadaa, it became quite obvious where the dark jedi had resided, like the dark jedi master Gaius fought before, this dark jedi did not use the force to hide himself. The currents of the force pulled Gaius towards him and it was not long until they met face to face. This time it was Gaius who would go first, to protect his padawan. The dark jedi, who was proficient at wielding the force as opposed to lightsaber combat threw container after container towards the duo, both jedi ducking and diving out of the way. The dark jedi almost menacingly mocking the two by laughing and taunting them. The dark force user using all sorts of force related abilities to defer the jedi into submission, but Gaius would not pull back. He knew his old master fell to the hands of this dark jedi and he was determined to get closer to teach this dark jedi how to fight like a man. The dark jedi started to use force lightning, Gaius countered this by using his lightsabers to absorb the lightning. This was the chance for bail to shine, he managed to creep around the dark jedi as Gaius was keeping him busy. Bail then proceeded to impale the pre-occupied dark jedi through the torso with his lightsaber. The two sat down for a few moments to recover themselves before returning to Coruscant. The bond between them was growing day by day. It was evident to Gaius that Bail was his new best friend, just as Seph was before him.
A few more years had passed, Gaius now 32 over saw his padawan take his own trials to become a jedi knight. It was a proud moment for Gaius, for he saw the same ethics and morale in Bail that Seph had. For Gaius it was a particular exciting time too. The council had watched Gaius on his diplomatic missions aswell as dealing with the scourge of the dark jedi and also his ability to bond with the young jedi around the temple. The council to promote Gaius from a Gaurdian to the rank of master with an added role of the honorable rank of Jedi Weapon /Weapon Master. Gaius showed the guile, skill, experience and aptitude to be one. He left the temple to look over the Alderaan and onderon systems just incase the jedi watchman of those systems needed any help.
Over the next 10 years Gaius over saw the systems he self imposed himself to. He helped maintain the peace for the local senators aswell as remote politicians on the home planets of Onderon and Alderaan. It was a quiet time for Gaius as there was no active role for him to hunt dark force users or those who have wronged the jedi or the republic. He had gained a new perspective on his long life career as a jedi. To help protect the young sentients of Alderaan and Onderon who had the force flow through them, to become what the will of the force has destined them to be…. Jedi, keepers of the peace, defenders of democracy.
By the time Gaius had reached the age of 41, he was embedded in the politics of the sytems that he had made his home. His old padawan Bail, who by this time had an experienced padawan of his own, were sent on a mission to Onderon to settle a disturbance caused by a group of mercenaries. Gaius decided for old times sake to tag along to catch up with his old padawan and friend.
The group of mercenaries were causing wide spread panic in Izziz, so much so that the local security forces could not cope. The three jedi introduced themselves to the lead\er of the mercenaries who had demanded a lump cash sum to leave Onderon and her populace in peace. Failing to come to an agreement the mercenary leader ordered the large group of mercs to kill the jedi. Unfortunatley Bail’s padawan failed to react in time and was killed almost instantly. So once again Gaius and bail fought side by side. The mercs one by one falling as they used blasters to try to kill the jedi.
Gaius deflecting most of the bolts with his shoto blade whilst individually striking down the mercs before him. After a few minutes of this skirmish, Gaius lunged towards the leader decapitating his blaster with his shoto blade before spinning on the spot and using the force to psuh the leader into the wall renderinghim unconscious. The remaining mercs quickly fled the scene once their leader had been defeated at the hands of the jedi.
Gaius decided to travel back to Coruscant with Bail. Whilst Gaius was roaming the temple and observing the jedi hopefuls he was called into the council chamber. The reptilian like sentient stood tall and proud in the centre of the room, all the council members eyes stayed glued to Gaius as the grand master explained the dedication and honour Gaius had shown to the order. Gaius remained silent as he listened to the wise words of the masters of the jedi order. The grand master was also overly pleased with the efforts Gaius has gone to keepthe peace as a watchman, The grandmaster finally after a long speech bestowed upon Gaius the rank of High council member to him. Gaius took a few minutes to himself as this was such an honourable position to have in the jedi order. After thinking it through to himself, he happily agreed to undertake this new position that had been offered to him.
After sitting on the high council for a fair while and losing a close personal friend, Gaius decided to step down and go into a self imposed leave of absense tyo find himself in the force once again, His fellow councilmen accepted his resignation. Gaius left the temple and headed to the barren planet of Saleucami for his self imposed excumminicatus, he would spend his days walking the hot wasteland and taking cover in any caves he would find, through this trek across the desert he came across many temptations, to which he fought off to eventually find himself once again, both in himself and the force. It was time for Gaius to return to the Jedi temple and take up his responsibilities as a Jedi Master.

The life of the jedi weapon master, at times was hectic, but lonely aswell as the jedi did not overly have to rely on aid from other jedi to fight the force of evil. So it was quite the shock to Gaius when he returned to the jedi temple on Coruscant to be summoned to the council chambers at once. "hmm.. wonder what the council need" he thought to himself as he hurried along to the council chambers.
Upon entering the council chambers, Gaius made his way to the centre of the room before performing a Kowtow to the council out of respect. "Jedi Warrior Fal'kirk... i understand i was summoned to be here?" Gaius, always the fan of rhetorical questions. He remained silent, the gaze of a dozen eyes staring at him, like predators to their prey. Their eyes almost shining from under their hooded clothing.
"Ah Master Fal'kirk.."one of the council members proclaimed "Its a real pleasure to see you after all these years.. I hear you managed to clean up the Alderaan and Onderon systems?" One of the council members starting up some small talk before the whole council arrived. "i tried my best, indeed.. but unfortunatley diplomacy only goes so far.. how are the batch of younglings that were delivered not so long ago?" Gaius asked with interest.
"Oh the younglings from Alderaan? yes yes yes... they are progressing nicely.. " The Councilman paused for a moment "But that is no the reason we summoned you here today old friend."Gaius nodded as he knew it wasn't for small chit chat either, the grandmaster rose from her seat, all eyes turned to her before everone in the council chambers bowed their head before her.
"Master Jedi and renowned Jedi Warrior, Gaius Fal'kirk... You have shown a great dedication to the jedi order in the time you have spent here. You adhere to the conduct when others do not, you have suffered what would cause most jedi to stray from the path of the light, but you stayed strong..." the grandmaster paused for a moment
"You are a true peacekeeper and gaurdian to democracy, you have carried out endless amount of diplomatic missions. You have procured the political safety of the Alderaan and Onderon sytems from straying out of the republic and you are relentless in your resolve.....Gaius Fal'kirk." Once again the grandmaster pausing for effect it seems, Gaius stood rigid as he listened intently.
"It would be an honour if you could sit here, with us.... The position of Jedi High Council member is now yours, friend." Gaius stood back slightly in shock, he never realised he would become a high council member, he assumed he was forgotten in the depths of Alderaan and Onderon. Gaius graciously straightened his back before bowing with respect "It would be an honour grandmaster, i accept." a slow, quiet round of applause echo'ed around the council chamber as Gaius took his seat for the first time.
He sat with pride in his new position, long gone were the days of Gaius "the toddler jedi knight" in his bedroom when he was a mere child. Now sat Gaius "High jedi council member", his skill almost unmatched in the art of diplomacy and lightsaber artistry, he had strived to be what he sought, a master in his own rights. As he sat with his newly promoted rank, Gaius's skin slowly went from a dark green colour to a crimson red, the sign of mastery of the Falleen.
"Congratulations Gaius" the grandmaster stated before her facial features turned more serious "The dark Jedi in the galaxy seem to be growing relentlessly in numbers... whether it is our teachings or whether there is a form of puppet mastery going on... we must find out the cause for this growth in the dark side and stop it." as the grandmaster paused, the jedi on the council all nodded in acceptance. "Master Fal'kirk, the floor is open..do you have any suggestions?" the grandmaster smiled to him.
Gaius sat up straight, his right hand stroking his chin as he was deep in thought. "I have a few informants i have met over the years.. if there was indeed going to be any sort of uprising.. one of them would of heard about it.. Almost nothing gets passed their ears." Gaius paused for a moment to reflect on the situation at hand "In all likelyhood, the dark jedi in question will at some point return to Korriban..as you are all well aware..the lure of korriban is hard to resist.. that is ofcourse assuming the dark jedi have not bonded some sort of alliance with the sith empire.. then that would indeed explain the sudden growth in military movements in the outer rim aswell as the growth in the number of dark jedi that seem to be roaming the galaxy."
Gaius paused as the council debated on what do to, he took this time to reflect on his life thus far. He had reached his potential, he was at the peak of his game and enjoying every minute of it. Albiet from tedious debates in the council chambers to teaching the younglings how to wield a lightsaber. Gaius Fal'kirk, the Falleen, the man, the jedi.
