The last few days had been odd to say the least. Going from expecting to be in the Jedi Corps to becoming the padawan of a sentient plant. Now they were headed to her Master's homeworld, the first time in Myri's life that she had ever left the temple. Myri was rather nervous, both about stepping onto another world, and about her new master.
She didn't really mind her master. She was glad that the Knight had taken her as a padawan, but she still couldn't fathom why. She wasn't sure if Silene felt pity for her or something else, nonetheless she obeyed. She felt as if she should be more grateful for to her master, but the words died before they would reach her lips.
So now there they were, on a ship headed to Zelos II. It was the first ship Myri had been on since she had become a Jedi. The feel of deck plates vibrating beneath them, the constant hum of the engines were something she found infuriating. It took most of her concentration just to ignore the hum of the engines, the deck plates were something that she couldn't ignore.
She could smell the food the older Jedi was cooking. It smelled good, better than the food the temple served at least. Though that likely wasn't something hard to achieve. She then heard the Zelosian set a bowl down in front of her. Then Silene asked Myri about herself. She wasn't really sure what to say, she was just... a young girl.
"Uh... I'm twelve, nearly thirteen. You know that much. I was born on Qiilura. To be honest I really don't know what to say."
She tasted the food, it was wonderful, easily one of the best meals she had had in her life.
